Metaphors Stinketh Not?

John (KJV) 11:39 “Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.”
.
Modern enlightened Christians are just too proud to accept miracles. They worship a powerless Jesus. To them Jesus was a good teacher, a moral man and a person with a prolific imagination. That description pretty much describes a person like Thomas Edison. The “enlightened” ones believe that Jesus still lies in the grave. For those who think that we have a resurrected, but powerless, Christ are inconsistent in their thinking because resurrection was one power which Jesus certainly had! Just ask Lazarus.
.
Lazarus, a friend of Jesus died. Jesus was away and it casually took days to return to help Lazarus who had been dead four days and “he stinketh”, according to his sister. The Superhero Jesus arrived too late to save the dead... or did he? Unlike Superheroes, Jesus is real and He is God. Days and rotting flesh mean little to the person who helped create the universe. It was not even an obstacle!
.
JOHN (kjv) 11:40 ”Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?”
.
Like Martha before the miracle modernistic theologians do not believe! The resurrection of Lazarus, like the resurrection of Jesus is merely a metaphor; a story conceived to represent another. Was the point Jesus made in performing a miracle simply His way of representing some other point? If so, what would that point be? Either Jesus was real and told the truth about Himself being God, or Jesus was a liar who many modernistic people still honor. I choose to honor the honorable Jesus, not the one who is alleged to be a liar! The perfect Jesus without sin is the Jesus of the scripture. You folks must be worshiping another Jesus... an enemy disguised as our Savior. Now who would that be? How about modernistic churches worship an anti-Christ?
.
Matthew (KJV) 7:15 “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.”
.
Those New Age churches are “wolves in sheep's clothing”. They are sent by Satan to deceive you. Unless your church teaches the Truth of miracles and biblical “stories” such as Jonah WAS in the belly of a fish three days, and that Noah's ark saved the remnants of mankind and that God did create the universe and that Lazarus was resurrected and that Heaven and Hell exists and are real; then you are in the blasphemous church ushering in and in alliance with the Anti-Christ! I can tell you the churches which teach that way, but that would be too easy. Check your own church yourself! (Don't be fooled by their sound doctrine written hundreds of years ago. Go by what they actually teach today).
.
John (KJV) 11:43 “And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
44And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.
.
Now that's a miracle! Where's the metaphor? This miracle was done to satisfy the skeptics of the day. Some modern folks believe more in the myth of vampires than they do the Truth of miracles. God help us. If Lazarus yet lies in the tomb, so there Jesus remains also. Your worship is then in vain. However, my savior has arisen and is waiting for me there.
.
Lazarus' body did “stinketh” unlike a metaphor which has no such aroma. Wait a minute! Maybe I'm wrong! Lazarus' resurrection as a metaphor did also “stinketh”. It stinketh worse that did Lazarus' decayed body. In fact many modem churches also “stinketh” . Look for many of them in the National Council of Churches. You'll find much which “stinketh” there!
