Letter #2 July 13, 2014

Obama had a question for the House of Representatives: "What are they suing me for... doin' my job?!"

No, Barry. They're suing you for doing their job!

Obama whines that he has written fewer executive orders than President George W. Bush.

Hello! The House is not suing over any executive orders. It is suing over your unilaterally rewriting whole sections of the Obamacare law (a law that was passed with purely Democrat votes) in order to appease your cronies and decrease criticism of the Draconian legislation.

The Constitution clearly only allows Congress, as our elected representatives, to make laws. The president/executive branch are charged with enforcing the laws passed by Congress.

There has to be some way for this Republic to stop a president who thinks he trumps the other coequal branches of government and can usurp their jobs.

The snail's pace of the court systems is concerning when immediate action needs to be taken to ensure the common defense of the American People by securing our border.

Obama thinks that urgency negates the need to follow the Constitution. Unfortunately, his only urgent desire is to spend taxpayer money on things other than securing the border.

What could be a more egregious violation of law than the president ignoring the rules of government set forth by the Constitution? His oath of office only vows his defense of that document.

What could be more impeachment worthy than a president "fundamentally transforming" this country into a second rate power with inept, foreign policy, decimation of the military, betrayal of our allies, and attacking the American People?

What higher crimes can Obama commit than the ones he already has? Must he burglarize the Watergate Hotel?

Impeachment of Barack Obama would perhaps bring him out of the fantasy world where he reigns supreme.

Letter #1 July 12, 2014

Obama is leading from behind at our southwestern border. Instead of providing for our common defense, he has promoted a flood of illegal immigrants, many of whom are children. They can only invade our country if our Border Patrol allows them to enter.

We won't violently react too these immigrants for obvious reasons. Unfortunately and through no fault of their own, they are a danger to American citizens because of the diseases they bring with them. The crowded conditions under which they are domiciled only enhances the spread of diseases among immigrants and to Americans who come in contact with them during processing.

Unwittingly, they also contribute to chaos at the border and at destinations where Obama tries to surreptitiously send them. City officials are not being consulted prior to transfer of the immigrants, and residents of some destinations are boldly confronting the buses carrying them. Local law enforcement has told these residents that the federal agents are angry and will return in force to complete the transfer.

The opening of our border also allows more dangerous actors to enter: drug cartel members, violent gang members, and jihadis. They are all smart enough to see this as an opportunity.

Once again, Obama remains passive whether the enemy we face is a flood of children or a gang of criminals or terrorists. He only leads the fight when he is at war with the American People. He will use heavily armed federal agents in full battle regalia to impose his desire to relocate these immigrants despite the burden they place on local infrastructure.

He won't waste a crisis. He will use it to justify lawlessness on his part to push his flawed immigration agenda without enforcing secure borders.

Obama is boldly threatening us, again. Congress shouldn't sue. They should impeach!

Forward and Introduction to the Letters of Dr. Tim Hulsey:

The regular reader of this blog knows that I have written that the "wall of separation of church and state" is a knee-jerk reaction to state-sponsored denominations. Scripture tells us to turn to God in all things:
Philippians 4:13 ESV "I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
We turn to the Lord in "all things" when we are Christians. That includes praise and criticism in civil affairs. God even set the pattern for our Supreme Court and the district courts beneath them. While we are to keep a certain distance from government, we are to still have an interest in our nation. We are to be a Holy Nation and Holy Citizens, but our faith is to be in the Lord. We do not come to dependence on our leaders except where they guide us toward righteousness.

God made a covenant with Abraham:
Genesis 12 :1 "Now the Lord said to Abram, “Go from your country 2 and your kindred and your father’s house to the land that I will show you. 2 And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
What makes "a great nation"? A nation which trusts and honors God! While citizens aren't to do the cursing, we all, including Christians, must contribute to the implied "condition" of the deal with Abraham. We must trust and obey God! Making a great nation is a civil affair and includes striving to be a righteous nation. We see from scripture that because the Nation of Judea was unrighteous, the holy temple and the civil government was destroyed. Likewise, we face the same warning today:

Luke 21:20 (ESV) (Jesus Foretells Destruction of Jerusalem) 20 “But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation has come near.

History repeats itself! Just as Jeremiah warned of the total destruction of Jerusalem, Jesus tells us  that it will be destroyed again. (Once in 70 A.D. and once finally at the end). From the Book of Daniel, we know that this will occur at the beginning of the tribulation period after the antichrist has come to power, created a dictatorship and proclaimed himself to be God, just a Caesar did at the time of Christ. Government and religion has no wall. If we don't "tear down that wall" then those antichrists who are preparing the way will! A Christian nation is in the process of total destruction right now. There is no wall of separation because evil has eroded its foundation, one law at a time and one court ruling at a time.

With this forward in mind, I will be publishing the thoughts of a great patriot on our government and nation. While Dr. Hulsey has not endorsed my opinions, I honor his. My guest author is Dr. Tim Hulsey. Follows are his thoughts on our current state of civil affairs:
