Peace in Israel or a World Caliphate?

Those unschooled in our diplomatic corps and the leaders of our nation seek peace in the Middle East. Our government proposes two states in what was Canaan land: Palestine and Israel. Although God is one of peace, is that going to happen?

Why is there a problem in Israel anyhow? First off it goes back to before nations existed in the region, the land being a tribal land:
Joshua 21:43 "And the Lord gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein."
For those who don't know, this land was promised to the Hebrew people and is called "The Promise Land". It was part of the Abrahamic Covenant of which God followed through:
Genesis 15:18 "In the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:"
The land promised to Israel is more than Israel is today. It's even larger than the Kingdom at its largest at the time of David. Someday Israel will rule what is now Syria and parts of Iraq. Upon Joshua crossing the Jordan and planting the twelve stones, signifying the twelve tribes of Israel the Lord (The Word who became Jesus) came into him:

Joshua 4:13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? 14 And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my Lord unto his servant? 15 And the captain of the Lord's host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so. "

Any time God appears to man either as an apparition, an angel or a man; it's "The Word" who was with God in the beginning and who is the Messiah who was to become born as a man named Jesus. He was to be called Immanuel, "God with Us". The Messiah appearing to Joshua made Canaan holy ground. What once was heathen was made holy by the presence of God. Immanuel himself gave the land to the Hebrews and sanctified it. Israel is holy ground and is still "The Holy Land"!
1 Samuel 15:2 "Thus saith the Lord of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt.3 Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass"
What happened? The Hebrews disobeyed. Although God, the God of love, had told them to destroy the Amelikites (for their own good) the Jews didn't do it! They were too humane in their treatment of a vicious people! Others, they had only to drive out:
Exodus 23:31 "And I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert unto the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee."
Today we have a small land of turmoil. Why? The Hebrews, in their disobedience are having consequences for their own disobedience. There is war on Gaza Strip and the West Bank because the Hebrew people  failed to obey God and used their own "wisdom" in the dealings with the nomadic tribes there.

But they were to negotiate and seek peace with their adversaries. Not so! God gave the Jews specific instructions:
Judges 2:2 "And ye shall make no league with the inhabitants of this land; ye shall throw down their altars: but ye have not obeyed my voice: why have ye done this? 3 Wherefore I also said, I will not drive them out from before you; but they shall be as thorns in your sides, and their gods shall be a snare unto you."

God said "Don't negotiate!"  "Don't tolerate their religion!" "Since you didn't drive them out, now you have to live with them!" As a result the peoples of Canaan have always been a thorn in the side of the Hebrews and that's God's will, his punishment, for the Hebrews, his loved and chosen people who seemed to always fail to listen.

Let's look at some of those "consequences" of the Hebrew disobedience:

  1. The Holy Land has always been a battlefield.
  2. The Hebrews intermarried with the pagans living there.
  3. They followed the religion of their pagan wives and raised up high places to other gods.
  4.  The kingship of Israel and Judah failed
  5. Jerusalem and the temple were destroyed.
  6. The Northern Kingdom was lost to the pagans.
  7. The Southern Kingdom was lost to the pagans.
  8. The Holy Land became a tributary to invading nations.
  9. The Holy Land was ruled by slave generals (Selucids).
  10. The "Captain of the Hosts" who gave them the land was crucified on the Cross by confused Jews.
  11. The temple, although rebuilt, was destroyed again and standing in its place is the domed mosque of the pagans.
  12. Mohammed terrorized the inhabitants of the Land and the Holy Land became the land of a false god with Mohammed as his prophet. (Islam was a curse from God to the Hebrew people for their disobedience).
  13. The entire middle east became a caliphate run by Sharia Law. Terror ruled then and does still.
  14. Europe was invaded and nearly lost by the pagan Mohammedan invaders.
  15. Crusaders retook the Holy Land, but lost it again.
  16. Islam allied with the Axis. Mohammedans on the side of Hitler.
  17. Palestine (Canaan) partitioned and Israel formed.
  18. Constant war with the peoples Joshua was to drive out!
Hence, whether we like it or not, Israel is paying for the disobedience of their forebears and Islam is a punishment from God! It gets worse. There will be the mother of all battles fought at Armegeddon. However, before that the entire world will face the consequences of Israel's disobedience. We shall have a One-World Government, likely a world caliphate, ruled by the antichrist.

Who wins? Jesus! Christ's armies defeat Satan before his 1000 year reign. That's prophecy, but is also something to which we look forward. Jesus wins in the end!

Now since you know "the rest of the story" it's obvious that all these peace efforts on the part of Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Carter, Bush, Obama and Clinton are futile. They too are in disobedience because God said "ye shall make no league with the inhabitants of this land". Even if we could get a treaty of peace, that's still not a good thing. Because God said not to, punishment and suffering will be the outcome.

Likewise, we're not to tolerate their pagan religions, mostly Islam, for God also said "ye shall throw down their altars". Islam must  not be tolerated. Islam must be defeated. Some say this is a war of governments. Indeed it is, but for principalities, it's a religious war: good vs. evil. Let's just stay on the right side!

What happened because the Hebrews didn't cleanse their land of the Amalekites way back then? "They shall be as thorns in your sides, and their gods shall be a snare unto you." Just as "thorns" were to plague Adam because of the disobedience in the Garden of Eden, thorns are the same punishment meted out to the Hebrews in the "Land of Milk and Honey". Not much changed! Islam is that thorn and painful at that! Islam is to be a "snare". It's a trap and many even in America are being snared. Islam is NOT a "peaceful religion" and their god is NOT the One True God. They deny the divinity of Jesus, "The Word", who as the Captain of the Hosts, took their land and bequeathed it to their mortal enemy, the Hebrews!

There will be no peace. Most of the world will become a caliphate and most will worship the Prophet Mohammed. That's going to happen and is happening. But for me and my household, we choose Jesus!
