Methods of Hate

Hate is as serious as murder, and is an extreme offense:
1 John 3:15 (NKJV) "Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him."
It's often hard to love one's friends, let alone their enemies, but love of the enemy is a prerequisite for eternal life.
Luke 6:27 (NKJV)  “But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you."
What is the difference between love and hate? Hatred is the absence of love. Then what is love? It is this:
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
Love here is defined as unconditional. It doesn't say that people have to do certain things, believe a certain way, or even be good. God loves you just as you are! God loves those people who fought in the Civil War on both sides. God loves those who put up statues of southern heroes. God loves those who want them torn down. God loves those who provoked violence in Charlottesville. God loves those who cursed each other. God loves the left-wingers who shoved and intimidated. God even loves the white supremacists and neo-Nazis at Charlottesville. He even loves James Alex Fields, Jr. who killed Heather Heyer in Charlottesville.

The world is everyone! "But," you say, "Fields is a killer and the extremists are hateful!" That is true. However, because of God's grace "he so loved the world" that anyone who believes should not perish. Christians must pray for Field's salvation, not his condemnation. That is what love is all about!

Essentially, love is sincerely desiring that even evil people go to heaven. It is not wanting anyone to suffer for eternity. In order to obtain that love, there is one thing each person must do - believe that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Light, and that salvation is by no other.

Right now people hate Fields. They hate the neo-Nazis. Those groups are haters too, but hate is never God's will. Right now people hate Obama for creating a divisive atmosphere. Likewise, others hate Trump for the same reason. Sure, we can criticize, but there are no loop-holes for hatred to exist. Loving one's enemies is demanding but it is demanded!  We forget that we're all in this together. There was a reason for this chaos in Charlottesville. Satan planned it and made it happen. He made hatred, he made violence, and people are merely doing his will. We cry over this as Trump haters and liberal haters abound. Satan smiles!  Hatred from either side is unexcused.

Our desire should be that Fields change by belief and trust in Jesus, but haters on the other side may not even believe in Jesus. Guess what? Their eternal destiny is the same as Fields! Our desire should be that Trump succeed. If he fails, the nation fails. One problem is that Trump haters want Trump to fail. I must admit, I wanted Obama to fail! However, I don't hate him. I believe he did what he did sincerely. I just don't see that he used God's standards. Many think the same way about Trump. That is a difference in belief systems. I just believe that Trump's is closer to God's will, albeit he falls far short. What can I say? Even King David, a man after God's own heart, failed miserably. In the end, with God's conviction, things did turn out well.

Prayer changes things. David wrote his prayer down. If you haven't read it, it's Psalm 51. We should pray for Trump and the nation. We should pray that hearts change. Of course, I'll be attacked for this, but both sides in Charlottesville need prayer. Everyone wants things their way. That is mankind's problem! We each want our own way, and as such we are our own gods. Satan smiles.

Jesus's prayer says:
Luke 22:42 (NKJV) “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.”
Even Jesus knew the power of the flesh. It was powerful for him too but because he would not sin, he overcame the flesh. It is not his own will but God's will that he wanted to do. That is the solution to hate! We want to do God's will: to love him and love him enough to love others as ourselves! Face it, we love ourselves quite a lot. We must love others to that same degree!

I have a problem with love. You do too! We just can't seem to love each other as God expects us to. We don't even love God as we should although with His grace, He should be easy to love. What impedes love? Satan. It is his will that we hate one another. He creates chaos. Do-gooders in Charlottesville: you were an unwitting tool. You meant well, but you contributed to chaos.

Haters in Charlottesville: you responded to your master. You created chaos. Antifa in Charlottesville: you went there to create chaos. If you don't know who the Antifa are, you better find out; they are Satan's tool.

Then we have those with the money behind it all! They weren't even in Charlottesville but just like Satan, they smile at the outcome. They are the politicians and elite who want this nation to fail because when it does God goes away with it! They strive on hate, but those haters can't be found. They are in comfortable offices all over the world "doing what is right in their own eyes." They hate America. They hate God, and they even hate us. The herds in Charlottesville are "useful idiots" according to left-winger, Satan-loving, Saul Alinsky - the hero of the left, and whose strategies are used by George Soros and his kind.

As Christians we are to obey authority. With Obama, I disliked it, but I was civil. I never hated him but only his policies. He seemed to be a likable guy in manner. Compared to Caesar, Trump is angelic. However, Jesus said to render unto Caesar what is his. (Matt 12;21). Jesus could have destroyed Caesar with one thought. He didn't do that. He didn't come to destroy but to save. As royal priests, Christians are not to destroy but to save others from perishing; even those with whom we disagree!

As for slavery, Jesus could have ended that. He didn't. Shall we Christians hate Jesus? Never! He came to free our souls not our bodies. He expects something in return: to love him and others; even our enemies. That's our thanks for him saving us from true slavery!

It sickens me when Christians spew hatred, thinking how righteous they are! While you are picketing and being deceive by Satan, souls are being lost elsewhere. Be zealous for Jesus. Tell others about him! You can't do that by slinging hatred at those who need salvation. Pray for James Fields right now that he be saved. Pray for Trump right now that he will do God's will. Pray for Soros and his instigators that Jesus circumcise their hearts. Prayer changes things; hate by any other name does too, but for the worse!
