Navel of the World

      Why all the fighting for control of Israel? What makes that small country the size of New Jersey in the United States so desirable? It is a holy place! When people stand in Israel, they stand on holy ground. Let's take a look at that tiny place in the words of God's prophet:

And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages (Israel); I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates, To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land. (Ezekiel 28:11-12)

(Buddha went into a dark cave and contemplated his navel. I went into the Light and studied the navel of the world. What is the significance of the navel? Think on that, then read on. I have thought about this for several years. Now I attempt to write about the earth's belly button.)

      "In the midst of the land" can also be translated as "the navel of the world" ('tabbuwr erets). from the Hebrew. I kidded the other day, "Did Adam have a belly button?" I can't answer that question for sure, but the earth does have one! 

     What is a navel? It is the location of the focal point of life. It's the location where the umbilical cord was once attached. The "cord arising from the navel that connects the fetus with the placenta and through which respiratory gases, nutrients, and wastes pass." or "a necessary, supportive, or nurturing link or connection" (Merriam-Webster Dictionary). Thus the navel is a location, not a remnant. It would seem that Adam did have a belly button but never a physical umbilical cord because the nutrients that he need were only spiritual. God's Holy Ghost was Adam's umbilical cord, and it was located at the middle of his abdomen - his navel. (Eve was taken from the curve of Adam's side. Perhaps she was taken from Adam's navel. The "rib" is merely a translation)

     As with Adam, the umbilical cord of the world was located at Israel - the abdomen of the world whose middle was the navel of the world as can be seen from the passage above. Just as the Holy Spirit was Adam's umbilical cord, "He" was also Israel's. Adam was God's chosen person and Israel was God's chosen people (Deut 7:6). They were "special people" because God chose them. Those special people had a navel as well. It was at the navel of Israel. 

     What happened at the navel of the world? What is still housed there that makes it so special? Inside the Dome of the Rock is the foundation stone. It is believed to be the very rock from which the earth was born, and the exact location from where Adam's dust was taken to create him! Remember what God said? Speaking to Adam, God said:

In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. (Gen 3:19).

    Adam came from the dust and he was to return to it. That location is not just anywhere; it surely is the navel of the world. The premise of my book, The Skull of Adam is that Adam is buried at Calvary (Golgotha - "the place of the skull").  The Jewish people believe that Adam was created at the navel of the world and is buried there as well, his dust returning from which it came. Have you ever thought about this: Adam was created at the foundation stone and is buried on the rock at Calvary. Ironically, like Jesus, Adam is associated with rock.
     The foundation stone is said to cover the Holy of Holies - the very location of the presence of God in patriarchal times. Not far away and within view is Christians' Holy of Holies - the rock of Calvary. Jews were the "special people" and Christians God's "peculiar people" (1 Pet 2:9). The life-line of Judeo-Christianity is at the navel of the world, and at that very location it became the life-line of everyone:

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

      Calvary provided life to the world. Surely that rock is the belly button of the world! What happened there wasn't truly death, but eternal life for "whosoever believeth." I don't believe in coincidence or fate. I believe God planned that life begin at the navel of the world, and that rebirth begin there as well! "Whosoever" can be born gain there, not physically but spiritually. 

     Many people desire burial at the Mount of Olives Cemetery. Why do that? Because they believe that as the navel of the world. They want to be near the access to Heaven when they are taken to Heaven:

Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. (Ecc 12:7)

     Just as Adam returned to his place of origin for the return to Paradise, "whosoever believeth in Him" shall as well. God gave his Spirit to Adam at the belly button of the world, Adam's dust returned there, and it appears that the dust of Christians will as well! Perhaps Israel is the location of the rapture. Jesus ascended into Heaven from there. Jesus ascended into Heaven from the Mount of Olives at Bethany. (Luke 24:50-51). No wonder people want to be buried there: it's near the entryway to the Garden Paradise!
     Israel is the location of the "cord" to Heaven. Indeed, it is the location of Jacob's ladder - Mount Moriah, ironically the place of the foundation stone!

"12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. 16 And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the Lord is in this place; and I knew it not. 17 And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven. 19 And he called the name of that place Bethel." (Gen 28)

     It seems that Jacob's ladder is the umbilical cord for the glorified body - that which Christians shall have in their return to Paradise. Note that I often refer to Heaven as "Paradise" or the "Garden Paradise". Biblical evidence and Jewish sacred literature indicate that Jerusalem is the Garden of Eden and the Jordan the River of the Garden (naral al Yarden). For the foundation stone to be so, it must have been in Paradise - right there in the midst of the Garden.
     Not only did Jacob dream of that spiritual "umbilical cord" but Jesus validated it:

And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man. (John 1:51)

    "Upon the Son of man", of course, refers to Jesus. How can one ascend upon Jesus? Jesus is the Way to Heaven:

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6)

     Jesus, readers, is Jacob's ladder and ours. It was at the navel of the world that Jesus's Purpose occurred - he died at the naval of the world for "whosoever believeth in Him" shall enter Paradise!
     Christians shall ascend into Heaven the same way Jesus did. Perhaps, we will ascend at Bethany as well! Jesus ascended at Bethany which etymology is "house of figs". Perhaps that is the very place Adam and even attempted to cover their shame with fig leaves but Jesus used the flesh of the first dying animal, representing his own crucifixion. The ram was taken on Mt. Moriah where God supplied Abraham, right at the navel of the world (Gen 22:13)!
    Jesus ascended to Heaven at the "navel" as well. Perhaps at the snatching up of Christians - the rapture - is the place all the dead in Christ and those who love him are taken into Heaven - our return to Paradise.
     "Up" is different directions at different places due to the "circle of the earth" (Isa 40:22). To ascend unto Heaven seems to require a specific place. I believe that Christians, living and those "returned to the dust" will be gathered at Jacob's ladder. They will ascend where Christ ascended and the same place his Ghost descended which is Jerusalem - "the foundation of the world".
     The foundation stone covers an abyss which has never been explored. It is believed is the access to the center of the earth which is Hell. The foundation stone was Ornan's (Aaron's) threshing floor. That "threshing" place seems to be the judgment seat where the good grain is separated from the chaff. The offal will be winnowed into the bottomless pit at the navel of the world for burning. The good grain will be winnowed into Heaven by the umbilical cord which is Jacob's ladder.
     There is also physical evidence that Israel is the navel of the world. The sea is called Mediterranean because before the flood it was the "center of the earth" as the name means. Pangea was the firmament described in Gen 1:1 (heaven and the earth). It was the single land mass before the flood. (I have written on Pangea before.) In order to refit the pieces of the puzzles, the land mass before the flood and continental drift, geologist have created maps of Pangea. The continents in many models show that they rotated around the Mediterranean Sea and expanded outward spherically from there. That rotation resemble the human navel! Is it any wonder that they rotated around the foundation stone? Is it any wonder that Israel is the navel of the world?
     Why can't archeologists find the Garden of Eden? Because it's not the same geography as in the beginning. The lands were separated at the time of the flood, and although the Garden is still at it's foundation, the City of Jerusalem - the foundation of peace - covers the foundation of the world!
     A clue to that was Melchizedek:

For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace;Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually. Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils. Heb 7:1-4).

     We think of Melchizedek as the King of Salem or Jerusalem.  Melchizedek means "king of righteousness". That is not King of Jerusalem which I believe has become the harlot Babylon. Melchizedek is the appearance of God whom we call Jesus! As King of Peace, he fits the description from Luke 2:14 "peace on earth" which is God manifested on earth.
    Spiritually speaking, Israel is indeed the navel of the world and the life-line into Heaven. Unfortunately, it is also the wide gate to destruction. The foundation stone is the "decision stone". Just as Adam made a choice right there, so do we? Do we choose re-genesis (regeneration) or is it the death of which God warned Adam? The foundation stone is Jesus Christ. He was the cornerstone for creation and re-creation. Jesus is the Datum on which the world was founded, in agreement with John chapter 1. The world was planned in the beginning compassing Jesus. The focal point of Jesus is at the navel of the world.

Same Lie Still Aworkin'; On Marijuana

     Recently there was posted a list of "statistics" on causes of death. Even peanuts were listed. At the bottom of the list "deaths due to marijuana" was listed as zero. Of course, the intent of the comparison is to show that marijuana does not kill. Where have we heard that before?

And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. (Gen 3:2-5)

     God issued a warning early on:

But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.(Gen 2:17)

     Adam was told, not Eve, that they could eat of any other tree, specifically to include the Tree of Life, but not of the forbidden tree. Just as now, mankind desires what is forbidden! For instance, when I see a sign "NO TRESPASSSING" what do you suppose I want to do? Trespass! In my mind, there must be something there that intrigues me.
     Well, trespassing is sinning both secularly and spiritually. Being forbidden of anything is commanding not to "eat" of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. There is a certain pleasure one gets in doing the forbidden. Forbidden-types of pleasure are the sinful nature with which all people are born. We want to trespass, and to not do so, is denying ourselves pleasure. "As gods", sinners want to be appeased. Forbidden pleasure appeases naïve people?
     Why are sinners naïve? Jesus said they are:

"Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots," (Luke 23:34)

     The ultimate sin is killing God. They failed to understand that Jesus was God, not that that even mattered for killing anyone is trespassing against God! Jesus fairly well said, "The killers are stupid people!" He could have just as easily said, "Eve was stupid because she believed the lie." Adam wasn't as foolish as Eve; he ate of the forbidden fruit with eyes wide open. His punishment was because he "hearkened unto Eve" (Gen 3:17). Adam wasn't stupid, but he was beguiled by a stupid woman. Naïve people still fall for stupid statistics.
     Why would I say that? Well, God had not told Eve anything; he had only forewarned Adam. Eve added to what Adam said, eat nor touch it. (Gen 3:3). Eve wasn't as smart as she thought. She was arrogant: Had God even spoken to her? Of course, God had not. Eve got it all wrong by listening to the Serpent. She obtained false knowledge because she was naïve. Neither she nor Adam understood death? What should Adam have asked? What do you mean, God, die? Surely he wondered because he had never seen nor even heard the word death before.
     Let's give Adam some credit: he may have perceived life since he was alive. He may have understood death as opposite of living. However, Eve ate and nothing happened to her, so Adam ate. He was expecting some type of immediate reaction. It appeared that God lied, so Adam ate just as Eve had.
     His knowledge was false because he failed to ask the right questions! God would have explained that death is twofold: (1) gradually ceasing to exist physically, and (2) immediately dying spiritually. Adam sensed the latter immediately because God's Spirit was inside him. He felt guilty and tried to cover his own sin. God saw that, and covered them with the blood of a animal - a foreshadow of Jesus dying on the cross. However, Adam still didn't understand physical death.
     Now back to the deceitful Serpents behind marijuana usage. Who are the serpents? Like Lucifer who was once immortal but was condemned to die, the proponents of marijuana consumption don't care if you suffer the same death which they will! Who are the serpents? The marijuana lobby - those who will make money at the expense of your naivety. Joined alongside the serpent are those who he has already deceived - fallen-angel-type people. Marijuana users use because they know not what they do. "Survey says" you won't die if you use marijuana. 
     Is that true? First off, the statistics are bogus. I'll let the reader view some of the many consequences of marijuana usage. (https://familycouncil.org/?p=11795). Not mentioned are that stupid smokers behave stupidly and non-soberly. The "high" people obtain from marijuana is simply-put, living a fantasy. Users look stupid to normal people and are dangerous to  themselves and others: they know not what they do! 
     Let's not,  however, focus on the stupidity of it all, but the propaganda to which gullible people accept as truth. You won't surely die is the same old lie. Claiming that there have been no deaths due to marijuana is merely a repetition of Satan's mantra. It is much like saying that cigarettes will not cause you to die. We know that the poisons from cigarettes kill, why would not the poisons from marijuana? After all, they are five to twelve times more tar in marijuana!
     We know that cigarettes kill gradually. Smoking cigarettes will, indeed, make you die. For years the cigarette lobby advertised that they were healthy, and naïve people believed the lie. Look at some of the false advertising from the early years (google "misleading cigarette advertising ads"). You will be astounded how gullible naïve people were, including myself.  However, deep inside, I was Adam - I knew better! Young people were generally stupid enough to believe the ads of the liars - those who make money from our stupidity!
     Well, Eve did not suddenly drop dead, and Adam ate. My Dad had not dropped dead, so I smoked. Cigarettes contributed to Dad's heart trouble, and Dad did die! I will die someday as well but quit smoking before much damage was done.
     Most people think, I will quit someday before the damage is done. That is a lie. It is hard to quit because things are addictive whether it be chemically induced or emotionally. Indeed, the perception of pleasure is what kills people who consume unhealthy things.
     Another lie is that marijuana will help hurting people live with pain. That may be true because they are not sober. At one time getting drunk was the anesthetic of major surgery. However, staying drunk is foolishness. Likewise, morphine is also given for pain. Does anyone really want to go through life as a morphine addict? That is stupidity - missing out on life - and blurring reality. Scripture admonishes us with a warning:

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. (1 Pet 5:8)

    Of course, sobriety may be astuteness, but are those high astute? Indeed, that is the very reason people smoke marijuana - to lose their astuteness, their perception of reality. Users are neither vigilant nor sober, but users believe they are! They even subject themselves to immediate death because they are unsafe, and endanger others' safety. My three acquaintances who were killed on the highway by a motorist was driving high obviously were not included in the propagandists' statistics, and never will be. People who buy-into the lie are irrational, and have not thought it through.
    Some live the lie all their lives. They deny that they just may physically die because of their addiction, and even shrug at the thought that they may spiritually die as well. They choose to appease their real god (themselves) and deny God the appeasement that He so deserves. That was the original sin. The cure is to diminish ourselves and elevate God (John 3:14). We are to elevate Jesus high above ourselves. I is Jesus who is to be made "high" and not us!

Our Individual Timeline

     In the last two commentaries I have discussed God's lack of a timeline, and the timeline of the world. The world had a beginning; it is the "Genesis" which we read about or the Origins. The purpose of mankind was to love God; He expects that. Due to sin, we fail to love God with all our hearts, minds, souls, and strengths. (Luke 10:27). That is ultimate love - the type of love mankind was created with, as we were created in the image of God.
     Adam's sin made mankind imperfect. Sin contaminated love, and is hatred. We sometimes accuse hatred of being severe, however, hatred has a scale - from no hatred to despise. Why so? Because the metrics of love are from no love to the love of God or agape-type love. Agape is the type of love which God can have - without contingency. An example is that God loved Adolph Hitler. How do we know that? "For God so loved the world" (John 3:16). We too are to love that immensely! Immense love without contingencies is agape-type love. Immense love is wanting that none should perish. Immense hatred is wanting that all should perish.
     The former love - agape - is the prototypical love we should have: the entirety of our hearts, minds, souls, and strength. That's how God loves mankind!
     The latter is lack of love and is despising others with all our minds, hearts, souls, and strengths. I would hope that only Satan would have that degree of hatred. Mankind falls somewhere in between. Profound hatred is depravity. Those who lack any love for God or others would be totally depraved. I can think of only one being, and maybe his legions, who are totally depraved. Depravity is corruption and evil. Totally depraved would be totally corrupt and totally evil. People are not totally depraved because they can make decisions. God by grace gave them that capacity. It is the gift of faith. Decision-making is using the gift of faith. We are not totally depraved because God is merciful.
     Everyone who was born have sinned. (Rom 3:23). That includes everyone but Jesus Christ. Thus, everyone comes short of the "glory of God". What is glory? Being in the presence of God. The place of that honor is in Heaven where Christians will be glorified.
     We think of God as glorifying us. Every scripture is on glorifying God. With poetic justice, we will only have incorruptible - glorified - bodies if we glorify God! Glorification is all about us, and is obtained by glorifying God.
     Glorifying God is "bestowing honor, praise, or admiration" and being glorified is mankind's "elevation to celestial glory" (Merriam-Webster Dictionary). The latter is living with honor in Heaven in the Presence of God.  It is crucial to understand what glorification is because that is the "prize" that all men should seek. (Phil 3:14). The end goal on the timeline of men should be glorification. Those who do not desire that, are deceived; their end is corruptible flesh (1 Cor 9:25). Foolishness is not caring to be incorruptible. Eternal life is on the Christians' timelines, and eternal death on the timeline of those who live in iniquity.
     It is to be noted, that at the time of physical death, the timeline goes away and both sinners and Christians are transported into the spiritual realm where there is no time. Forever is inexplicable and never-ending. Wise people should not want to go to eternity forever without knowing how they will spend the "time" there.
     I remember the long hot summer days as a kid in Coatesville, Indiana. It seemed like they would never end, especially when I was baling hay in the hot sun. Those are thoughts of a child. The thoughts of adult Larry is spending forever in torment and tribulation. That thought made me seek hope because that which seemed to be will be reality. My life is the hope of eternal life. (Psalm 119:166). Not that I hope that I obtain, but that the reward of eternal life is the cause for hope - the affect!
     The prize of eternal life is the time of salvation. We think of salvation as when we first believe. Totally secure is when the Evil is destroyed:

And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. (Rev 12:9-10).

     When Satan is destroyed he can no longer harm or otherwise deceive anyone. He can no longer war against God nor His heavenly armies. That is salvation for the heaven and the earth - the pretender to the throne will die. Serpent... this is what death is, that is of which Eve was deceived!
     Individual salvation is at the general resurrection when the body is glorified as incorruptible and rejoins the soul in the air. That event is the rapture, but also includes living saints. Thus, the day of salvation is when Satan can no longer harm those who remained faithful to God.  That period of safety commences with regeneration or a re-genesis - back to how we were created.
     What was that condition? Adam was sinless, but yet had free will. "Will" is mankind making their own choices. People are not automatons; preprogrammed to do God's will. Behaviors and thoughts  must be done willingly. Adam and Eve looked at the forbidden tree and both sinned: Eve by deception and Adam willingly. Adam was credited with the sin because he hearkened unto his wife (Gen 3:17); not that Eve didn't sin but because Adam's sin was greater. Thus knowing the Law of God and breaking it consciously is a greater sin than doing it by being conned.
     Because Adam sinned, we all have the propensity to sin:

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned. (Rom 5:12)

    Therefore, if anyone says they are without sin they are a liar (1 John 1:8). Thus, life in this world commences with sin. King David validated that point testifying that he was "molded in iniquity" (Psalm 51:7). Thus, all individuals' timelines begin stamped "sinner" and everyone need to be reborn - made back as God intended. I like to say "to design intent" where God is the Designer.
     I commented the last two days that the soul existed from before the foundation of the world.  That is much like the Word who was there in he beginning, who later was born in the flesh. The Word was born without sin, but we were not! God didn't deserve to die and did; we do deserve to die but didn't. Jesus was born to die, and "whosoever" was born to live. God predestined us all to live forever:

For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. (Rom 8:29).

     Who did God predestine? "Whosoever believes" (John 3;16). With foreknowledge, God knew who those "whosoevers" would be. God can "forget": "I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more" (Jer 31:34).
     That is not because God is absent-minded or has dementia; it is because He is Almighty! He can do things which mankind cannot do.
     Before the foundation of the world, even in the womb, God knew us. It wasn't our flesh which he necessarily knew, but our hearts, minds, souls, and strengths. Don't be confused; our hearts are attitudes not organs of the body. Those things are merely dust for Him because they can be re-genesis-ed.
     The moment infants breath life by themselves, they are sinners - born in iniquity. Some time in their lives they must choose by exercising that God-given free will. If they diminish themselves and elevate God, they are born again or regenerated - back to design intent.
     Like Adam, though, those born again still have the capacity to fail, and many will. God understands that because He suffered the Flesh. He is merciful because He experienced temptation first-hand. God will never leave nor forsake those regenerated because of grace (Psalm 37:38). God will preserve His saints indeed, but never against our own will. Satan imprisons; God will not. Free will exists until the day of salvation.
     Each day that goes by - life - Christians get nearer that day (Rom 13:11). On our individual timelines, we exist with the capacity to have life breathed unto us (God's Holy Spirit) before we were ever born. That "capacity" is the void which we refer to as "the soul". Life begins, not when the newborn breaths, but when the soul is endowed with flesh. That begins at conception. Birth is merely the announcement of life!
     Immediately infants begin to sin. We laugh at that but a pattern is in formation. Early on, that sin is instinctive or inherited from Adam. As children learn, they do wrong things by nature, and are also easily deceived. Infants are Eve's - they sin by deception. At some point, children become knowledgeable and can weigh truth - good and evil. When they willingly sin, they become accountable, just like Adam.
     Only one thing will keep them safe from sin: quit trying to defeat sin by themselves and turn to God to deliver them from it! That time is regeneration. For those who endure to the end, they shall be saved (Matt 10:22). For those who keep the faith, it's as if they already have the prize. That is the assurance of salvation, and faithful Christians speak as if the reward is in hand!
    Satan's demons try to prevent regeneration. They use deception. If they fail beforehand they continue on. They fight hard to regain those living in safety. Therefore, the timeline of life is tribulation since Satan never gives up. Death is a reward for those who endure lifelong persecution because they will no longer be in danger. Death is the time of salvation; that is unless one is raptured beforehand!

Time, Death, and Eternity

     God is Existence. He is without name, but because there is only one True God why would He need a Name to distinguish him from others? God Is God. He is Existence. Existence in Hebrew "initials" is Yod He Wah  He which is pronounced Yehowah or Yehovah. God's Existence is transliterated "Jehovah" in English.
     The ellipse at the top of the graphic (Fig. #1) represents God's Existence. That period is not measured in time because time was created for mankind's use (Gen 1:14), because time for God (Existence ) is irrelevant. (2 Pet 3:8). Sacred literature uses the 1 day = 1 thousand years for our benefit; in 5-1/2 days or 5500 years Adam was to be air-lifted to Heaven (raptured).
     Calculations from the Bible indicate that now is about 6004 years from the creation. Adam died at 930 years. It is not known when Adam sinned but it seemed to be almost immediately. Therefore, his time in the grave would be somewhere between year 5500 and year 6430. Using God's manner, Adam would arise on the "sixth day" when God's "work" on earth is done. The sixth day is from now - 6004 until 6999. On our calendar, the rapture would be from now 2018 A.D. to 2444 A.D. because a portion of the 5500 years has already passed. We don't know the time; only God does (Mat 24:36). It is written in scripture that the rapture or "catching up" of all Christians is the "blessed day" (Tit 2:13).
     The blessed day fulfills the promise made to Adam (Adam and Eve and the Conflict With Satan), and applies to all Christians both dead and alive (Mat 24:29:31). Sacred writings are not canonical scripture but the five-and-one-half days makes sense with the creation time. With all that said, no one knows the time line interval labeled "TIME" in the graphic. That is for God's knowledge only, but seems to be 6000 years because God rested on the seventh day. The millennial reign of Jesus makes sense as the seventh day, and eternity as the eighth "day". (I did not show Jesus's millennial reign on the timeline but for some, when the world is washed again from all sin, Jesus will reign for a thousand years on earth (Rev 20:4).
     The time-line of our existence is not shown on the eternal timeline because time does not exist in eternity. God's time is shown elliptical because it was never beginning and will be never-ending. Our "blessed day" is when we are resurrected and given glorious (incorruptible) bodies Designed to last for eternity. That blessed day for Christians is shown at the end of the timeline and is labeled "RESURRECTION". It is preceded by the "sting" - a short time - for death to take effect.
     Those dead in Christ on that blessed day are awakened from their "sleep" (1 Thes 4:14). Sleep or death (the flesh) lasts until death awakens Christians. Death should not be feared because it initiates a new beginning!  We are hurled off the temporal timeline and go into the orbit of eternity with God.
     Ironically, those living without God are as if they are dead because they are said to be asleep (1 Cor 15:15), which indicates that the rapture of the living is awakening from a spiritual-type of sleep. Since weariness will be unknown in Heaven, it makes sense that there will be no sleep for eternity. God will give mankind rest (Mat 11:28); we will have no need to depend on time for that! Heaven then is wide-awake forever! We will be forever vigilant although the Serpent can no longer poison us.
     Part of worldly existence on the "TIME" line is original sin. It is placed shortly after the creation. That is the time death began. Adam and Eve didn't know it, but the death process began right there. Death is a process commencing with birth and ending with a sting.
     Soon after children are born, their cells begin to die. Adam and Eve could not detect that; now we can! We all are in the process of dying. An individual time line for us wold show birth as a benchmark and time labeled as "dying". That is important because all men are destined to die (1 Cor 15:22), and thus our individual timeline is dwelling in the valley of the shadow of death (Psalm 23:4).
     Knowing that everyone will someday die, should be motivation enough to want not to die! For me, all my life, I have desired that I not die! Wise people will seek a way to live forever. Some try cryogenics and others other follies. Scripture tells that "none should perish" (John 3:16), and that includes me! Then everyone is given the Way never to perish. I like that! Jesus is the Way! "And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world" (1 John 2:2).
    Discovering the Way is what everyone must do to live eternally. Jesus said that "You must be born again" (John 3:7). Marvel not at that but commit that verse to memory. Jesus's blood is the only sacrifice acceptable for sin, and none of our works are sufficient. Seeing that Light and trusting Jesus for salvation is being born again. That we must be to be saved.
     There is a Power which gives the gift of faith; enough to be born again. I show that as "INDICTANCE" in my graphic. Scripture refers to that inductance as God's Holy Spirit (Mat 6:13). Power and Glory are the action and reaction. God's mercy and grace bestows the Power for glorification which is our timeline as we go into the Presence of the Lord at the Resurrection.
     Not only must we be born again, but the Resurrection is impetus for that! It is the prize to which those who trust God! Regeneration is not shown because it is an individual event. However, regeneration is a re-Genesis - back to the time before sin existed! Regeneration is trusting Jesus for a personal resurrection. He did that himself, so wise people figure Jesus can do that for us as well! Wisdom is when sinners come to that conclusion. We all must be persuaded (Acts 18:4). Fully persuaded is regeneration. That qualifies believers as candidates for the resurrection. Why only "candidates"? Because regeneration is looking forward to the blessed day! Our individual timeline becomes based on hope.
    When those with hope serve the Lord, it's as if the prize is in hand. Trusting that we shall be saved is assuring. That is living in hope (Lam 3:26)!
     From the TIMELINE, the influence of God on the world is labeled INDUCTANCE. Inductance is in units of grace and its current is mercy much like an electrical circuit. God's influence on the world is from John 3:16. He so loves the world. The reason for God's grace is because he loves the world (people within it) so much that he has mercy so great that He paid he price Himself. He came to earth in the Flesh to be the one and only sacrifice ever needed!

Figure #1 - Existence

     Lucifer and all the angels, those who remained faithful and those who rebelled, were created sometime before Adam and Eve. It could have been way back before our timeline, because that time is on the eternal ellipse in reality. That was when all the spiritual realm was created. That does not include mankind because men are more than spirit. We have one-up on the angels! 
    However, we were in the plan as indicated yesterday in my commentary. That planning by God was when he provided the space for each of our existences. I submit that our souls (non-material and immeasurable) were there before the beginning - since BEFORE the foundation of the world (John 17:24).
     Why was Lucifer created? To test the fidelity of mankind to God. Lucifer was created with each of us in mind. We are not for him but he for us. Thus, he tricked mankind into siding with him. That cunningness brought about original sin and continual sin has resulted for everyone (Rom 3:23).
     I have shown that continuation of sin as "IMPEDANCE" on the graphic. It is much like impedance in electrical circuits - that being drag on current flow. Spiritual impedance is from the law of sin and the "voltage's is referred to as iniquity. Impedance is a drag of loving the Lord for His induction of Power and Grace. The law of sin can only impede winning the prize - the Resurrection -because Grace is greater than the impedance (Acts 4:33): "And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all." Grace that great was not only for the apostles but for everyone!
     God never ceases to induce. His grace is greater than seventy times seven (Mat 18:22). Why so? Because Satan's impedance never ceases as long as we are living in the world (TIMELINE). Thus God's inductance overcomes Satan's impedance and Christians live in safety until the blessed day when they are saved.  The problem arises in us: most reject God, and God becomes silent. His Power is still there, but people break the circuit. That leaves us alone with Satan's impedance:

We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephes 6:12)

     That "wrestling" is Satan's impeding our Christian walk - loving God and othes. "We" are Christians. Even when we are safe, Satan still impedes. He tries to short-circuit our Inductance from God, leaving only iniquity in its place. Serving the wrong "master" short-circuits (Luke 16:13). With that, even Christians are left alone with impedance with no Power induced. Like I said, the Power is still there, but it has been dropped from the circuit.  That loss of Power is apostasy, and it comes about by disminishing God. The Inductor is still there but there is a break in the circuit.
     My wish is that you consider Existence. God is the reason we exist and have the hope of continuing to exist. Of course, there is much mystery in the way God works, and my attempt to explain the mystery of Christ is imperfect. At least, maybe you will take the time to consider eternity and your place within it. If you are persuaded that there is hope, then at that time, you will be born again.
    Perhaps you just need persuaded to live for God only. Understanding that necessity is imperative too! Not only must we be born again but stay alive in Christ. He helps us do that by providing the whole spiritual armor (Ephes 6:13) to do that - prevent the blessed day from becoming the evil day.  He protects the circuit, so to speak, so it will never be shorted out.

Existence and Pre-Existence

     I have prepared a chart called "Existence" which I hope explains God's scheme of things, (i.e., His own Existence and ours) which also of course includes his plan. (Figure #1 Existence).

     There are three types of "existence" all within one: (1) The eternal Existence of God, thus his Name, (2) The existence of matter and time, and 3) what was before that, or pre-existence. Pre-existence is antecedent to physical existence. To be honest, no one knows when the spiritual world came into existence, but since spirits are not material, they surely pre-existed prior to the beginning. 

     When God created the heaven and the earth (Gen 1:1); was that only the beginning of matter and its container, the "void" encircling the earth because void describes the lack of form of the earth (Gen 1:2)? "The heaven" in the first verse, according to Strong's Dictionary applies to whatever was above the earth, but we don't know how far up. It appears that in the beginning God set a formless mass without an atmosphere in the great expanse of nothingness, to which void would also apply because there had yet to be created the other heavenly bodies. 

      The only physically living matter in the universe right after the beginning were three: (1) vegetable matter (Gen 1:12), animal life (Gen 1:21), and human life (Gen 3:27). Only mankind was created in the image of God: (Physically "living" depends on the oxygen of the earth for survival, and water to nourish. Spiritually "living" is depending on God's "breath" and grace for existence.)

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image... (Gen 26-27).

     The "image" of God turns out to be more than one for God said "our image".  The question arises then, who is God referring to as "ours" since this was the beginning? That mystery is not explained until millennia later:

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made... He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not... And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us... (John 1:1-3, 12, 14). 

     Therefore, the "our image" must refer to at least Jesus Christ. The mystery is that Jesus was there in the beginning assisting in the creation. Of course, Jesus is not another being but God manifested.  We think of Jesus as merely God in the Flesh, but throughout scripture he is manifested in different forms: The Voice, the Word, Light, a Cloud, a Fire, a Burning Bush, a Man who wrestled with Jacob, the Angel of God, the fourth Person in the fiery furnace, and even Melchizedek. 

For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually. Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils. (Heb 7:1-4)

     That "great Man" Melchizedek had to be Jesus - one of the ours in "our image". Not only because he was great, and the King of Peace, not to mention King of Salem which Hebrew sacred literature teaches is the heavenly Paradise, but because he was eternal. Like Jesus, Melchizedek was a Man but much more than a man! He was and is God manifested - showing Himself to mankind. Abraham always sacrificed to God, and that is what he did to Melchizedek!

     I have identified that God is pre-existing the foundation of physical existence, and is now Jesus. However, since God existed before the beginning, pre-existence is pre-creation of matter. Power was needed to Create something from nothing. Let's examine power: 

Thine, O Lord is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all. (1 Chron 29:11)

     The energy required for the creation was not an amniotic fluid resulting from Higgs Boson, but emanating from God. We see therein that God's Kingdom is all of Existence - the world just rebelled for a time. His Kingdom will come on earth again as in Heaven (Mat 6:10. God's Kingdom is the spiritual and physical world, albeit there is a pretender to His throne - Lucifer who has already invented for himself a royal title - Satan. 

     It is the Holy Ghost which is the Power which does things as can be seen when God created His own image:

The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee (Luke 1:23).

     Pre-existence is at least three substances, but before the beginning, everything was without substance (Gen 1:2). Therefore the Father God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost were without substance, and cannot be three persons. God's one person is Jesus who was God revealed 2000 years ago. Before God created His person, God spoke the Word who was Jesus. The Word was without form but still existed because his voice walked in the Garden (Gen 3:8). Humans can only think in material things because that is all we can see! Jesus Existed before matter existed. Did we exist before since we were made in His image? "Seeing" the invisible existence is faith.

     The angels are not material. "The beginning" was merely the beginning of physical things. There was a pre physical existence:

Thou (Lucifer) wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. (Ezek 28:15).

     Lucifer, the cherub (Ezek 28:14) was a created being in the spiritual realm. Thus, before the beginning of the world, the Kingdom of God consisted of unseen things - not material. To be honest, the Mormons believe in pre-existence of mankind. The pre-existence of what I write is pre-existence of a spiritual world which was created by God for whatever purposes that He had (before He created what we think of as "existence".) We don't know how long before our existence, but Lucifer and other angels existed before humankind did. 

    When God created physical things, He placed them in a void. (Gen 1:1). I believe, perhaps, mankind's soul is nothing more than a void in the spiritual, being the Kingdom of God before the world was created. To be King there must have been subjects. Spiritual beings were the subjects. 

      "Regeneration" is returning to mankind's original condition - as in the Garden. The reward for that is eternal life as mankind's soul "lives" on, perhaps just as it always "lived". Before the creation, it seems that the soul was merely emptiness in which God shared his Holy Spirit. That makes sense since that is what God did when the Holy Ghost filled the early Christians (Acts 2:4). 

     Adam was created in the image of God. He was born with the Holy Spirit filling his void - his soul. When Adam sinned, his void was emptied and he became sorrowful. Everyone has an emptiness which can be filled one of two ways:

The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.  And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Phil 4:5-7)

    "The peace of God" is the Comforter (John 14:16) who is the Holy Ghost. Again, that aspect of God is not a "person" but the Ghost of the Person, Jesus. We know that because Jesus "gave up the Ghost" (Luke 23:46). The souls of men, thusly, have voids which need filling.  Souls are not ;physical things and cannot be identified by physical evidence. The study of the soul is psychology, which arrogantly replaces the Bible in the study of the soul. Thus the Spirit can fill the soul but before it can, uncleanness or iniquity must be exorcised. Jesus's blood does that!

     The soul is not a thing. Even psychologists agree with that, referring to souls as psyches. The soul is a void which needs filling just as the void before the earth and other things filled it! Adam's original image at the beginning was mind, body, and spirit. His void had been filled as he was created. Thus, the void for Adam's imbuement with God's Spirit was there all the time. God has foreknowledge - He always knew that He would fill the void with things. He planned "the beginning" long before it began. His Plan pre-existed before the beginning. He allowed "space" in the void for all the heavenly bodies. It seems that in His wisdom that he allowed space for mankind as well:

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. (Jer 1:5)

     At least God knew everyone before they were ever born because He allotted space for them. We call that "space" the soul, but it is not material. God knew us before we existed (i.e., we all existed to God.) When everyone is born, that void which was intended for God's Spirit, with original sin, was quickly filled with iniquity. Only regeneration (or pre-genesis, pre-origination or before the beginning) can mankind's soul be filled with God's Holy Spirit. When we die, just as Jesus did, we will give up the ghost. Ghost's must exist somewhere. Saved "ghosts" are rewarded with Heaven while unrepentant "ghosts" live forever in Hell but are actually forever dying since "ghosts' are immortal but corruptible.

     My point for this commentary so far, is that there was always a void even before the beginning in which everyone would exist:

According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world... (Ephes 1:4).

     God had a plan for us before the beginning. He left "space" for each of us to be created. Upon our creation at birth, we were born spiritually vacant just awaiting to be imbued by God's Holy Spirit. Rejection of the Spirit of God is blasphemy, the unpardonable sin (Mat 12:31).
     You see, we physically did not pre-exist and neither did we have spirit. There, however, was an emptiness which was God's Plan for our existence. His will for us was that we be holy and without blame (Gen 1:4b). He planned on filling everyone's soul - that void - with His generous Spirit. Due to foolishness, since mankind was also created with a "will" in the image of God, fools can reject the filling of the Spirit - the Holy Ghost.

    God's manner is putting something in voids. In the case of people, God's manner is filling it with Spirit. Satan has a manner as well: he beats God to the "draw" because of original sin, then puts iniquity in the souls of men (Psalm 51:5). The blood of Jesus cleanses that inherited sin, and displaces it with righteousness - made right with the Holy Spirit.

Pre-existence, then, is not physically existing at all, but the plan for existence.

Propaganda

     Propaganda is a useful tool for useful fools. Propaganda is "ideas, facts, or allegations spread deliberately to further one's cause or to damage an opposing cause" (Merriam-Webster Dictionary). Of course, propaganda can be the truth or outright lies. If it's the truth, it is presented in such away as to distort or mislead. Propaganda is organized manipulation usually done to influence the most people.
     For instance, secular references to Christianity are usually "the Christian myth" or phrases such as "the creation myth" or the "deluge myth". Liberal writers want to get across their ideas and spread them through the media, the entertainment industry, and the educational system. Myths "have only an imaginary or unverifiable existence." (ibid).Thus, myths can either be figments of the imagination or the supra-natural. Science has an admitted bias: they dismiss whatever is not seen because it cannot be operationalized and tested. Therefore, whatever is not scientific is mythology for them.
     On the other hand, scientific methodology admits that it cannot prove anything. It can only infer through data collection and analysis. I can do that as well! Thus, their "verification" is itself mythology since scientific studies are merely attempts to verify! Science, then, condenses down to testing hunches without ever actually proving anything. Scientific theories are as much mythology as theology. Some "sciences" acknowledge their mythology. For instance, psychology is the study of the soul. The soul cannot be measured but there are journals after journals saturated with studies of the soul, all of which are unverifiable. The dissemination of scientific evidence as factual is the worst kind of propaganda because it manipulates naïve people.
     For instance, religions are dismissed as fantasy while other "religions" have metrics assigned to them, and made scientific. The best example of that type of manipulation is Jungian analytical psychology. Carl Jung metricized eastern theology and philosophy and presented it as science. Jungian psychology is the religion of the "New Age". However, it's impetus is as old as Nimrod himself; the granddaddy of false religions. Modern man has been manipulated to accept psychology as scientific. Like anything, parts of it are good, but other features are evil. That's how propaganda operates.
     Usually, propaganda is a method of changing the ideas of a great number of people through the media and other institutions such as through education. There is usually a message which advances the ideas of he propagandists who all have motives - they, for various reasons, desire that others believe as they do. The reasons are many but usually they have to do with control. At other times, they are merely for change. Propagandists do not like the ideas of others and because of pride, perhaps, want to remold others in their image. 
     I've written on the Popper Paradox of Tolerance before. "Unlimited tolerance must lead to the disappearance of tolerance. If we extend unlimited tolerance even to those who are intolerant, if we are not prepared to defend a tolerant society against the onslaught of the intolerant, then the tolerant will be destroyed, and tolerance with them." (The Open Society and It's Enemies, Vol 1; Popper, Karl; 1945; Note 4; Chapter 7; ). That paradox is instituted by suppression by force if necessary of those with different ideas if they fail to be remolded by logic and reason. 
     Paradoxes are congruent to the Orwellian definition of doublethink - simultaneously holding two opposing thoughts. I've written on cognitive dissonance several times before. Paradoxes can lead to dysfunctional behavior. Indeed, liberals who are so "tolerant" that they must suppress the intolerant are the most intolerant of all but can't get their heads screwed on right! The liberal left most of which adhere to the Paradox of Tolerance, seem to be the greatest haters of all! Their ideas may be noble but the outcome is ignoble, pathetic, and intolerant! ,
     The left uses propaganda to remold the people. My psychology professor, Dr. Fong, said, "Our goal is not only to teach but remold." In other words, teachers result to propaganda - "ideas, facts, or allegations spread deliberately to further one's cause or to damage an opposing cause." What is their stated goal? To get students to think as the teachers think. 
     I hate to admit it, but their propaganda is quite successful. Who would have ever dreamed that same-sex marriage would be legitimatized. In DSM-II homosexuality was a disorder. In 1974 DSM-II it suddenly became  a disturbance! It was the homophobes that suddenly disturbed them, not what they were doing! What brought on the change in ideas? The mob using propaganda:

In 1971, gay rights activist Frank Kameny worked with the Gay Liberation Front collective to demonstrate against the APA's convention. At the 1971 conference, Kameny grabbed the microphone and yelled: "Psychiatry is the enemy incarnate. Psychiatry has waged a relentless war of extermination against us. You may take this as a declaration of war against you."[2] This activism occurred in the context of a broader anti-psychiatry movement that had come to the fore in the 1960s and was challenging the legitimacy of psychiatric diagnosis. Anti-psychiatry activists protested at the same APA conventions, with some shared slogans and intellectual foundations. (McCommon, B.      What was the propaganda?  That psychiatry is not a science but a religion (because it was called "the enemy incarnate", and that implies evil). I happen to agree somewhat with that assessment but for much different reasons! 
     What was the method? A mob shouting - intimidation.
     What was the message? Slogans. The mobs are great with slogans. Slogans can either be truth, lies, or wishful thinking. Usually slogans are to deceive, and naïve people accept slogans as truthful. Propagandists know that a lie said often enough becomes the truth for most people. 
      What was the idea that the mob wanted changed? That they were abnormal. They surely did not believe they were normal because of biology, gender roles, history, morality, religion, and practice; but if they could only convince others that they are normal, then a new "normal" would be established. 
     Is homosexuality normal? No, but a lie repeated often enough makes people believe the lie as truthful. Obama was convinced by the mob! Was he really convinced or did he merely enjoy the power of the mob which supported him whole-heartedly?
     Propaganda is not a new thing: Hitler used propaganda to convince most Germans that Jews were nothing more than sub-human parasites which must be destroyed for "the good of the people" - which is a very socialistic idea! Propaganda was used by the feminists movement to convince the masses that unborn children are of another genesis. They became "fetal tissue" as even their humanity was stripped from them! Just as "the Jewish Problem" resulted in crimes against humanity, the inconvenience of unwanted children are crimes against humanity. Gullible people accepted both pretexts because of propaganda. 
     Just like the APA accepted the propaganda of the mob, and were intimidated into changing the DSM, the Supreme Court of the United States, because of the mobs, changed something which had always been illegal and immoral to legal and even moral to the modern mainstream churches!
     Propaganda is as old as time itself. Lucifer used it to convince angels to shirk the authority of God, then later manipulated the entire population of planet earth with deception. He said, "You won't surely die," in defiance of God who said they would. 
     Eve ate, and didn't die; Adam took that as scientific evidence that he would not either. He ate and didn't seem to die as well! Was God a liar and the Serpent a teller of truth? No! Neither Adam nor Eve understood the concepts of death or time. They began to die immediately but failed to realize it! The Serpent used propaganda to manipulate! It only took one time for his slogan and it became truth. To this day, people still believe the slogan - "You won't surely die!" 
     Christianity is labeled "mythology" to change your ideas about truth. The truth is that you not only will die once, but twice! The first death will only be a "sting" of short duration when the pain will subside, but the second death will be painful torment seven times hotter than fire! How can that be? I calculated it. The earth's core (which may be Hell) is approximately seven times hotter than the fire of a kiln in degrees centigrade. My scientific calculation validated the "myth of Hell" as possible and the scripture is truthful.
     I accept the theory of Hell as scientific. It is more than by faith and is not mythology. In fact, truth cannot be measured because it lies partially in the future. Scientists can only forecast the happenings of the future. Prophets do the same thing! The former is called science and the latter religion. Propaganda has been used to remold people in thinking that science is more reliable than God. Through acclimation, scientists have become your gods because their hunches take precedence over God's Word. 
     Propaganda is destructive. It eats away at truth. Propaganda is most always toward change and the change is always toward disorder because it is seldom based on the whole truth. If it is the truth, the propagandists still have ulterior motives - they want you to believe as they believe. That can lead to death! 
     My commentary is propaganda, but it is based on truth. Usually, all propagandists believe what they propagate is truth. 
    "My truth" has a standard for comparison. I keep it biblically based as far as I can understand scripture. I want others to believe God's truth, not how others have perverted the truth. I care not if you believe the way that I do, but the way God wills. 
     His will is Holy Scripture, and my purpose is for the reader to accept God's Word as truth. Why would I do that? The truth will set you free (from deception and death). My will is that the reader not die - in neither a physical nor spiritual sense. Heed my commentary. Test it. Don't believe what you have always believed because your own family may have made you a victim of propaganda; maybe your own church denomination!
