After Adam and Eve sinned, the Word (Jesus) said, “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel” (Gen 3:15). The battle would not be between Adam and the “Serpent” but the seed of Adam and the seed of the Serpent.
Right then, both tares and good plants were planted, not in Paradise, but outside in the world. The “seed” is literally “semen virile” (Strong’s Dictionary), or masculine sperm in its “waters” which is seminal fluid. Scripture used waters from the waters (Gen 1:6) at the beginning of creation.
God had separated the “semen” from the “semen” when he made the foundation of the world, and here He would do it again for His beings. The cosmos is as much the “Seminal Fluid” of God emanating from Him via His Spirit.
Genesis chapters one and two focus on the generation of life, and Genesis three, a re-genesis from which the process of “regeneration” comes. It is making things anew as they had been originally.
God planted His Seed in the world wherein was His “Garden.” Then, after sin, God promised to plant “Good” seed at some time in the future but allowed tares to grow as well; the former from the seed of Adam, and the latter, the seed of the “Serpent.” (The demon spirit of Lucifer and his “shadow” inside that would blot out the Light of God for many generations.)
So, when did this warning become reality? The seed of Adam is Jesus who scripture calls the “Son of Man” and the “Son of God.” Jesus is the Son of God through the seed of Adam who was the ancestor of Mary. He is the “Son of Man” through Adam as well because Adam was of God.
With that, not only is the Book of Genesis about genealogy, but the entire Bible, and Revelation a Book of Re-genesis.
Genesis 3:15 came to fruition with Judas Iscariot and Jesus Christ. The crucifixion and hanging of Judas were the “harvesting” of that implantation. As such, they represented the “seed” of all men and women. The seed that was planted were single-cell sperm and single-cell ova, with Eve the mother of all living but Adam not the father of all living. That points toward Cain and his “father” — Lucifer — was the father of all living. Their DNA was planted and is in each of us, but so is the “shadow” that overshadows the Spirit of God in each person.
John knew all about what happened in the Garden and
demonstrated it often in the Gospel of John, the Epistles of John, and
the Revelation of John wherein he was shown not only the generation of
the world (John 1) but its regeneration (Revelation). He did some explaining in
his epistles:
10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. 11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. 12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous. (1 John 3:10-12)
John explained the distribution of the seed mentioned in
Genesis 3 with its planting in Genesis 4. As Cain is of the Wicked One, his
seed is of the Devil, as is written by John about all mankind:
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. (John 8:44)
The Father of Jesus is Yahweh, but the “father” of everyone else is the Devil. With that said, Mary was only the “vessel” for transporting God to the World, but Jesus wore the “coat of skin” that Mary provided. Therefore, Jesus was inwardly the Son of God and outwardly (His flesh) the Son of Man, just as scripture reveals.
His flesh had to die to be the sacrifice for all of Adam’s kind through Cain. Note that Cain is not in the genealogy of Mary but his brother, Seth is (Luke 3:38). Jesus was not genealogically of the Wicked One, but that Judas was from Kerioth is significant. He would be an Arabian from the seed of Esau, Japheth, Canaan, and Cain. Judas was the son of the man of the Wicked One, and Jesus was the Man of Adam and God.
The battle was about to be fought. It was the very battle of which the Word spoke to Adam in Genesis 3:15. It would be the battle for the souls of mankind!
While the world is focusing on who wins the war of East and West at the present, in the background, the mother of all wars is still being fought. For the East and West, both will lose, but the war between Lucifer and God will be won by God!
Right now, the world is choosing sides in the ongoing battle, but most have yet to choose sides in the battle for lost souls. People still care more about the flesh than the spirit, and the ongoing battle is Satan in camouflage to reign on high as Isaiah noted. We all lose the Putin and Soros battle because behind the scenes it is the devil, Soros, who will gain, and by that Satan wins another battle either way.
People ignore Genesis 3:15 because it is so abstract, and even with the previous verse, they envision a creature much like cattle, but crawling, and specifically “behema” in the Hebrew. The “Serpent” would be of the kind of a grass-eating creature, but not a cow. Perhaps, the “Serpent” is not a serpent at all but a behemoth (Job 40:15), not of any known species but a spiritual demonic kind.
A hint was given in that passage: “And the Lord God said unto the serpent, ‘Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life’” (Gen 3:14). Isaiah spoke of Lucifer as a “worm,” but not just any worm but a pompous worm who would be brought down (Isa 14). It seems that his persona is a kind of angel but his shadow a brutish but pompous worm.
Now examine his motion — “upon they belly thou shalt go.” That sounds like a crawling creature, be it a snake or a worm. It could even be a sloth because a literal translation is “image” (ibid). Lucifer, it is seen in the 1 Book of Adam and Eve, can assume any image that he desires. Therefore, Christians need not think of Lucifer as a mythological character but an amorphous demonic kind who can appear as man or beast. He did that with Judas! At his last supper, “Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.”
Not only can Lucifer morph but he can overcome, and he did that with Judas because the Wicked One was genetically in him. He was the “seed” of the Serpent from Genesis 3:15, and the one who whose belly was a means of motivation.
“Go” in verse 14 is literally “perish,” (ibid) not just to move. And think of the “image” as perishing whatever it is.
In the case of Judas, the image of Judas was the body of the man. Jesus used a serpent in John 3:14 to get across the message that Judas is the “Serpent” and that seeing Judas as if dead, exalts Jesus who did the bloody thing.
When Jesus defeated Judas, it was a “circumcision” of the flesh of Satan, not just his foreskin. The entire flesh of the Serpent had to go, not just the foreskin of his pudenda that causes all the little wicked ones like he surely planted in Eve (Gen 4:1). (In a previous commentary I explained that it could be that Adam was beguiled by Eve; that Cain was of her new “lord” not him, and that she had created Cain and not God. As such, Eve would have become the “goddess.”)
“Cursed” in that passage is literally “imperfected” (ibid). Soon, Cain of the Wicked One, would be imperfect as his “father” was the epitome of evil. Scripture implies that Adam and Eve were created “very good” (Gen 1:29) but that is literally “entirely good” (ibid) or perfect. Adam suffered the consequences as did Eve, and they both were also made imperfect, but Cain was the most imperfect because of Eve’s verbal “intercourse,” or worse, with Lucifer.
“Beast” therein is not just cattle but any living creature. Hence, the seed of the Serpent, Cain, would be like the most feral of the beasts, and that remains the problem of Cain’s kind to this day. By genetics, all are of the Wicked One because the “Adam” in everyone is Cain. Regeneration is not like a newborn baby but like Adam before he was cursed.
The root word for “belly” in the Hebrew is giah which means “to burst forth” (ibid). Gahon (belly) points not only toward the thing but its action as well — the abdomen of some future creature bursting forth. I submit that the Word was speaking of Judas Iscariot. Now consider the evidence.
Speaking of the Messiah (Jesus), the psalmist wrote: “Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me” (Psalm41:9).
Just who was the familiar friend therein? It speaks of two separate beings as one. Lucifer was a familiar spirit (a wizard) throughout the Old Testament. Not only was Judas the familiar friend of Jesus but so was Lucifer who once was a friend of Jesus before he rebelled.
That has great significance; Lucifer once had affection for Jesus before he rebelled and defected from Him. In like manner, Christians have affection for Jesus to be born again, and those who defect from Him shall perish, as Satan will in the end, and both in the Lake of Fire. Lucifer’s sin was apostasy, and then he blasphemed God by denying His Holy Ghost. That happened when Judas killed himself rather than depend on the sacrifice of Jesus during that same time.
The curse was therefore for the Image of Lucifer, be it whatever, to perish by a bursting of his abdomen.
Now consider, Judas: “He cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself” (Mat 27:5). Judas “saved” Judas by his own hand. He killed himself because of his guilt. That would not suffice, because Jesus is the intended sacrfice, not Judas. Judas was not the “cup” that could be passed from Jesus. He could never redeem the guilty as Jesus would do.
Thus far, only the body and flesh of Judas is dead, but Satan remained alive. Then Jesus died and gave up the Ghost — The Holy Spirit peculiar to Him. Scripture is fulfilled right then. Adam and Eve were redeemed, and hence it was the “place of the skull” — the place of Adam’s skull — in that all adami (mankind) were redeemed.
Then that day, two events occurred of special importance: (1) Dismus, the repentant thief, was transported to Paradise in spirit, and (2) “Now this man (Judas) purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out” (Acts 1:18).
Point one is that Dismus was saved from Satan, and point two, is that Satan was sent to Hell for the safety of Dismus and any who repent.
The Ghost left Jesus and did those two things. The body of Judas was left hanging in the tree, awaiting the fulfillment of Genesis 3:14-15. What caused Judas to fall from the tree? He was dead, so Judas did not do that, and neither did the chief priests. Nobody but Jesus broke the limb from which Judas hung.
In Genesis 1:1 “created” is literally “cut wood” (ibid). Jesus was not only a technician who could do all things (Greek; Teknik) but was a carpenter by trade who cut and finished wood.
Many things were finished on the Cross. All the many Covenants theretofore were finished with Jesus being the perfect Sacrifice for all mankind. But something else was finished as the Holy Ghost departed from Jesus. He “cut wood” one last time when he de-created (perished) Satan in Judas and was the material, as the Tree of Life, who would regenerate Adam’s kind
. The Holy Ghost of Jesus surely cut the limb ever so neatly so that the belly of Judas would burst, thus fulfilling the prophecy in the Garden — that the seed of the Image would perish by his belly bursting forth. That occurred as Jesus died and Satan was sent to Hell via Gehenna (the location of the Potter’s Field) that day.
The last thing that Jesus did was the same as father, Abraham. He destroyed the image that was worshiped. The image had a countenance as well and that was the luster of thirty pieces of silver. Judas, with his money, was the false “light bringer” but Jesus, after the darkness subsided, brought the true Light to bear when Satan was put in his place.
Why the earthquake when Jesus gave up the Ghost? Perhaps Adam, in the bowels of the earth, was the incentive for the opening the gate of Hell for Satan to enter his realm. And according to plan, Adam was one of the first to escape Hell, to wit: “And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose (Mat 27:52).
Thanks to the promise way back in the Garden, not only would the Serpent’s new Image reject Satan, but so would Adam. Calvary was the place of Adam’s cranium because he considered what Eve was saying and did wrongly. Lucifer had confused his mind and at Calvary the mind of Adam was restored to its original perfection. Adam was regenerated the day that Jesus was Resurrected (Mat 27:53) and that was what the Word was talking about in Genesis chapter three!
