(Continued)
The Tree of Life is a firm thing with life (‘es hay; pronounced ates khah’ ee). It is the aleph-bet in the Hebrew — is strength (aleph); an invisible, unpronounceable, almighty existence, and (bet) house.
Jesus is the “House of God.” Jesus, referring to Himself said, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up” (John 2:19). Jesus is the bodily residence of the invisible God. He is the Tree of Life. The Tree of Life is the housing of God, Jesus.
Jesus said, “I AM Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. (Rev 22:13-14)
The right to the Tree of Life is from Genesis:
The Word “drove out the man; and he placed at the east (before time) of the Garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life. (Gen 3:24)
Jesus was the firm thing that was the Tree of Life. Jesus said, “I AM the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by Me” (John 14:6)
Jesus is that Tree of Life that pre-existed in the Garden of Eden before time ever began. There was no time in the Garden; time came with the first sin and decadence.
Jesus is the alpha (aleph)
— the silent God with such great strength.
Jesus is the omega (Tav
in the Hebrew) — the Cross — the symbol of the Tree of Life.
Jesus is the living Tree of Life whose “leaves” are for the healing of the nations. (Rev 22:2).
Nations is ethnos in the Greek. Those of the human family are all of the same genus — those with the same genes (phylogenetically related). Remember the phylum in the taxonomy from before? Of the same stock, or alike in DNA.
Jesus heals the nations by the loss of Virtue (Dynamos). At the crucifixion, Jesus suffered death as He lost all of His Virtue to repair our genes. The waters that emanated from God — Living Waters — is the flow of that Virtue from the belly (John 7:38) of the Tree of Life.
He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says unto the churches; “To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. (Rev 2:7)
Several take-aways therein:
1. The
Garden of Eden was not in this world but in Paradise in the realm
of heaven, meaning that Adam and Eve were cast out into a prison colony
on Earth from which Jesus and only Jesus can make free (John 8:32) The
truth therein is that you are indeed imprisoned and need redemption.
2. That
it was Jesus who was in the midst of the Garden as the Tree o Life and
was rejected.
Figure 2:
Tree of Life and Tree of Knowledge
The Tree of Life represents the “Godhead” or “Holy Trinity.”
For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the Things that are made, even His eternal Power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse. (Rom 1:20)
Yahweh (Father God — the Power) was clearly seen in the Garden by Things that were made. The Tree of Life was the made Thing that represented the invisible God. Paul identified Jesus as the Invisible God and the Tree of Life.
·
Let the tree represent the Godhead or Holy
Trinity of which Jesus is the “head” or visible.
·
The root represents God. (Job 29:19) and remains
unseen.
·
The tree itself above the earth represents
Jesus. He is the “Vine” (John 14:1).
·
The water or mist from below the root waters the
Root, and the Root emanates water to the tree, its leaves, and its fruit.
·
The leaves are for the healing of the nations or
genetics of mankind. (Rev 22:2)
·
The fruits are the twelve fruits of the Spirit (Rev
22:2; Gal 5:22-23)
The Tree of Life is the Godhead or what we call the Holy Trinity — the three-in-one substances of God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Mat 28:19).
Jesus is the quickening Spirit
(1 Cor 15;45) whose Virtue was emanating from God in the Tree of Life.
It is the genus in the blood of Jesus that heals the nation; the very
Image of God in Him. Hence, rebirth (born again) is engendering by the living
waters from the Tree of Life, Jesus as the Head of the Godhead.
