SAFE ABOARD, NOT SO IF NOT

Sometimes we do not see the past because the present is in the way. Sometimes we cannot see the Spirit because the Body of Christ stands between us and the Spirit. Sometimes we cannot see God at the helm of the ‘ship’ because Jesus seems to be not with us. Gone unnoticed by theologians is the crossing of the waters and its significance: 

²² But Jesus said unto him (the disciple who wanted Jesus to delay so that he could bury his father), “Follow Me; and let the dead bury their dead.” ²³ And when He was entered into a ship, His disciples followed Him. ²⁴ And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but He was asleep. ²⁵ And His disciples came to Him, and awoke Him, saying, “Lord, save us: we perish.” ²⁶ And He saith unto them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. ²⁷ But the men marvelled, saying, “What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him!”  (Mat 8:22-27)

 Note that an episode such as this had occurred before, and in both situations, Jesus was at the helm! Note that the “Word” of the Old Testament was Jesus (John 1:1-14).

Jesus suggested that they let the dead bury their dead (Mat 8:22). He had defined “the dead” as those who would be lost. Compare that to the days of Noah wherein scripture reveals just who are “the dead:” 

⁴ …The sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. ⁵ And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the Earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. (Gen 6:4-5) 

At the time of the flood, the world had become genetically depraved. According to the Lexicon of God, before the flood, those who would not follow him were depraved beings. The sons of God were those who were the progeny of Seth, and the daughters of men were those of Cains’ genetics, as the pseudepigraphic Book of Adam and Eve reveals. After they coupled, there was no longer the pure genetics of Seth in them. They all became depraved beings who were of the Wicked One. They were “the dead” of Matthew chapter eight.

In the days of Noah, only Noah found grace (Gen 6:8). He was born, according to the Book of Jasher, with rare genetics, unlike any other child, to wit: 

¹² And at that time the sons of men sowed the ground, and a little food was produced, yet the sons of men did not turn from their evil ways, and they trespassed and rebelled against God.

¹³ And the wife of Lamech conceived and bare him a son at that time, at the revolution of the year.

¹⁴ And Methuselah called his name ‘Noah’, saying, “The Earth was in his days at rest and free from corruption,” and Lamech his father called his name ‘Menachem,’ saying, “This one shall comfort us in our works and miserable toil in the earth, which God had cursed.”

¹⁵ And the child grew up and was weaned, and he went in the ways of his father Methuselah, perfect and upright with God.

¹⁶ And all the sons of men departed from the ways of the Lord in those days as they multiplied upon the face of the earth with sons and daughters, and they taught one another their evil practices and they continued sinning against the Lord. (Jasher 4:12-16)

 

The “new normal” in the days of Noah was evil and it was genetic. It was in the blood of everyone except Noah. Noah was born with grace, and implied in both Jasher and scripture is that Noah was a Nazarite — “perfect and upright with God;” he was made in the Image of God, with the Genome of God in him. It was a second “Genesis.”

At the time Noah was born, all the others that were born were evil, or depraved. They were born that way. The genetics of Noah were purity and goodness, but the genetics of the remainder were that they were totally depraved, and not worth saving. They were the “walking dead” and as such the dead, indeed, would bury their dead.

What was the deluge all about? The sins of the dead would bury their dead. Those dead in sin caused God to flood the world, and they as such, buried themselves because when the waters receded, the dead were all sucked down the drain into the earth below. The Jews believe that the abyss beneath the Foundation Stone in Jerusalem was the source of the water for the flood as well as its drain.

Now back to Jesus: “When He was entered into a ship, His disciples followed Him.” So, it was with Noah. Who were the ‘disciples of Noah’? His family, his seed, or gens.

God would plant a Garden again, and with Adam recently dead, and Cain as well, Noah’s perfect seed would be planted on new soil. (As it turned out with Samson the Nazarite, Noah also drank wine and lost grace, and he became the “second Adam” with a second ‘original sin.’ Ham became the ‘second Cain.’ 

⁸ But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. ⁹ These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. ¹⁰ And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. (Gen 6:8-10)

 Noah had created his own disciples, or rather God did in him! His gens were his sons, and since their wives were of Cain, they went along for the ride. However, they brought their genes into the new world, and original sin repeated itself.

Jesus did the same thing! He made disciples, implying that they were born again (John 3:7). Jesus, literally from the Greek, engendered them much like Noah had long before with Shem, Japheth, and Ham.

Just as with Jesus when he entered the ship, whose disciples followed Him, so, it was with Noah! 

⁵ Noah did according unto all that the Lord commanded him. ⁶ And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the Earth. ⁷ And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood. (Gen 7:5-7)

 His gens followed Noah into the big ship — the Ark of God — to start a new world and a new kingdom. Noah would be ‘king’ there — the ‘husbandman’ (Gen 9:20) like God had been in His Kingdom in the beginning (John 15:1).

The gens of Jesus were His disciples who had found grace in Jesus just like Noah had at his birth that came from the grace of God. [1] Noah was born that way from his mother’s womb, but as Jesus told Nicodemus, unless a man be “born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God” (John 3:5).

In Noah’s time, he was born of the Spirit, according to Jasher (‘Righteousness’) and when he entered the ark, he was born of the water. Yes, the water borne (transported) him to a new world. Jesus was on board with Noah and his gens to regenerate the world with new genes. Jesus had engendered, or ‘born again” new creatures. Yes, the ‘Word” was on the Ark and closed the door behind Himself when all who had entered, entered. 

¹³ In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark… ¹⁶ And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the Lord shut him in. (Gen 7:13, 16)

 God closed the door of the Ark; that was what Jesus was doing when he said, ““Follow Me; and let the dead bury their dead.” He was closing the entryway to the ship just as He had so long ago on the Ark!

There arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but Jesus was asleep. In like manner, with the Ark of Noah, the same thing happened: 

¹⁷ And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth. ¹⁸ And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the Earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters. (Gen 7:17-18)

 The ‘tempest’ of Noah was described as more of a tsunami with both rain and waters from the center of the Earth. 

After resting awhile, then Jesus arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

With Noah there was a comparable event: 

² The fountains also of the deep (the ‘tsunami’) and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained; ³ And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated. (Gen 8:2)

 Jesus, as the ‘Word” had rebuked the tempest even back in Noahic times! Noah was foreshadowing what Jesus would do on the waters that day — to create new creatures, as was written, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2 Cor 5:17).

Mankind should have learned from Noah! Noah found grace and was made a new creature. He was engendered from birth by God to be the ‘husbandman’ who would plant his genetic seeds in the Earth to make a second Garden of God. Well, Jesus was doing the same thing; Christians are His plants in the Garden that must grow well to be good. Then they must spread the “Word,” or the Spirit of God to the world, according to the ‘Great Commission.’

The harvest of the ‘crop’ of Noah’s was raised onto new ground on one of the mountains of Ararat with new flesh from God in Noah’s genes.

In like manner, the harvest of the crop of Jesus’s is new incorruptible flesh raised to their heavenly Paradise — the Garden of God — as it is written,  “…the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord” (1 Thes 4:16-17).

The disciples arrived safely through the tempest. Jesus had calmed the waters. They exclaimed, “What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him!”  As it turns out that the manner of that Man was like Noah who was given the gens of God at his birth.

Jesus, like Noah, seems to be a Nazarite. He was that manner of Man — He was born as the “Son of God,” not that God fathered Jesus, but like Noah, Jesus arrived in Mary’s womb — the ‘Vessel’ — with the Genome of God within His flesh.

The story of crossing the sea has a purpose, and so does the story of Noah’s Ark. Both are the beginnings of a new world; Noah’s established by God using Noah’s perfect genetics, and the Church through Jesus with His perfect genes of God! That is not to imply that Noah was the son of God in a biological sense, but was borne, like Jesus, as in transported here for a purpose.

As it turned out, Noah was born in the world of the Spirit and Jesus borne to here with the Spirit. Both were new creatures engendered by God and Jesus crossing the sea was the building of the Garden here on Earth — the Church — an invisible Ark that transports those in Christ to a new world in another realm.

Noah’s trip was a little different. His was to a new ‘garden’ with him the ‘husbandman’ for God, but in this world. He was the ‘vine’ from the root of God whose seeds made the Garden of which his sons were the ‘branches.’

Jesus’s ship crossed the sea to the other side and all those who followed Him all the Way made it to safety on the other side of the sea.

The sea represents the boundary between this world and another realm. They were with Jesus all the time, and Him with them, even though asleep.

Jesus is no longer with us, but He remains with us in Spirit while His glorified Body is at rest. If you are a Christian, then it is for the duration as we cross the ‘sea’ with Jesus even asleep in heaven.

We must be with Him when the ship arrives safely. Boarding the ship is just a prerequisite because at any time those who are too afraid of the ‘storm’ may jump into the sea, as indicated with the slipping faith of Peter putting him into turbulent waters.

Now do you understand what was happening when Jesus was asleep but still on board? He is still resting in heaven but remains with us all the while, keeping his followers safe until they are saved at the end of the journey.

[1] Note that God is ‘Glorious’. That is His Image, or genetics (DNA). Coming short of the glory of God is not having the genetics of God, or lacking the grace that emanates from God.

SCARED HALF TO DEATH

 The common exclamation, “You scared me half to death," contains some truth! Let me explain.

Death has a different meaning than is thought. Over the years the legal definition of death has changed. Now, “death is the irreversible cessation of all biological functions that sustain an organism” (Wikipedia 2023), or life form. Since the last organ to go is the brain, death is when the brain ceases to function. Outside technology can keep the heart beating and the person breathing, and dialysis can eliminate the poisons, but when personal thought ceases, the person is braindead whether the other systems continue or not.

Science changes its assertions in the process of time. In the last century, death was the cessation of the heartbeat, but not pacemakers can keep the heart beating, even after a person is braindead. An acquaintance of mine had his pacemaker removed, so that after he died, he was all the way dead!

Nowadays meats and processed foods are stamped with an expiration date; so is mankind. God issued a warning to mankind before the Noahic deluge, “My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years” (Gen 6:3).

Some believe that was the time it would take to build and fill the ark. That may be, but it too is the “shelf life” of mankind. Some argue that point. However, an expiration date does not mean the produce will go bad exactly on that date, but in general, do not expect much longer. Many patriarchs in the Bible lived longer because their genetics were the genes of God. Sacred literature verifies that since the time of the flood, people can expect to live no longer than 120 years. Because of grace, many others have.

Now examine God’s assertion. His Spirit shall not always strive with man. That is the grace that Noah found (Gen 6:8). Translated “strive,” it means to “contend” with the progeny of Adam (Hebrew; ‘adam). He included the race of both Seth and Cain by pointing back to Adam. To strive or contend with man meant that God would no longer compete with His creatures for supremacy. If you recollect, Satan spoke the truth, back in the Garden; God had warned Adam (the female of that kind), “For God does know that in the day you eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and you shall be as gods, knowing good and evil” (Gen 3:5).

In that passage, it is not “gods” to whom God was referring but Himself. It was mistranslated in the English as ‘elohim is used in both instances. God feared that they would think of themselves superior to Him, and by the time of Noah, that was the situation. Each “Adam” (man) was as God, and each were “gods” in their own minds. Each person had created an individual sphere wherein he or she were the “Cosmos.”

God would no longer contend with them, acting as if they were each the Supreme God — the LORD GOD.

The Maslovian concept of self-esteem and the peak experience now operationalizes what God would no longer contend. More so than loving God so many people endeavor to love themselves. That was Eve’s problem. She died because she loved herself more than God, and now self-love is the New Age thinking, or doctrine. Again, mostly the women of the species seek self-love.

The root cause of death, then is anyone thinking that he or she is God or loving themselves more than God. The Hebrews of the Bible never totally abandoned God but added other gods in His Face. That is the literal translation of the First Commandment. That was the commandment that applied to the first humans (Gen 3:5).

As it turns out, Jesus was the true “Face” of God but still most of the people of the world, put on that false face. Therefore, God will no longer contend with people placing themselves above God. That was the first and original sin of Eve who also placed herself above Adam to whom she was meant to be a helper (Gen 2:18). Radical feminism is the female of the species still endeavoring to place themselves over both the male and God.

So, contending with God is the root-cause of death, but again; what is death? It is dying. The case could be made that death is the opposite of living. God had breathed life unto Adam, hence death might be that God siphoned life out of Adam’s kind to cause death. That is essentially what God did with the flood. Mankind, just like George Floyd, might have thought, I can’t breathe, as the flood waters displaced the air in their lungs and they each gave up the Spirit of God.

In the Hebrew mut is dead, but it is written twice — mut mut signifying certain or all the way dead! There is no root verb for “to die” — “die” means to die, and saying it twice makes it certain, without any other recourse.

Everyone has always thought of death as the flesh. The brain is not only the flesh but the organ that makes homo sapiens “wise men.” The brain is the vessel of the mind, called a “faculty” because it facilitates, or makes the organisms function. Thus, the mind is the “heart” of man, not that it pumps blood but it directs life!

When God spoke, “My spirit shall not always strive with man,” what was He saying? Because He added, “for that he also is flesh” clarifies the substances existing in mankind, and the Creation for that matter.

God apparently created the souls of the two Adams first in chapter one of Genesis, then the fleshes of the two in chapter two. Adam and his mate gained their soul with the Image of God within, and soon after, flesh was made to animate them.

So, which is “life”? That mankind is of two substances: a soul with the Spirit of God within along with flesh of the same shape (Luke 3:22). That is the physical “vessel” for carrying the Spirit of God.

God was saying that He would remove His Spirit; that was death in His Lexicon. What happened to each of the two substances? The flesh was flushed down the “drain” and the souls of mankind in the time of Noah perished. Thus, utter death is of the Spirit and not of the flesh. Hence, the root-cause of death is when the desires of the flesh give way to the Will of the Spirit, or as Jesus said it, “The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak” (Mat 26:41).

So, death is of the soul but the flesh is “weak” or frail and dying; perhaps already dead!

On another occasion prior to that, Jesus had again spoken the truth about death: 

²¹ Another of His disciples said unto him, “Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.” ²² But Jesus said unto him, “Follow Me; and let the dead bury their dead.” (Mat 8:21-22)

 “Follow me,” indicates animation or what we think of as life. However, Jesus was not speaking of following Him part way or quit before arriving, but to follow Him to death. That is known because He would say, “If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me” (Mat 16:24).

Thus “life” is endurance to the end (Mat 10:22). Taking up the cross is God killing the flesh when the time comes. Nobody can expect to live longer than 120 years to this day. Hence, plan on carrying the cross of Jesus until the Death Angel comes for you.

Carrying the Cross of Jesus is life. Following Jesus is really alive! Those who fail to carry the cross for Jesus’s Name, are the dead. If they never take up the Cross of Jesus and sacrifice their flesh for Him, then when they die, they are dead dead. Both their fleshes and their souls are dead and in Hell.

Those who remain evil are not regenerated, their feel alive but have the same dead flesh that somehow God keeps alive in Hell. That is dead dead; always dying but never all the way dead in a physical sense.

Jesus said, “Fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in Hell” (Mat 10:28).

It is learned from the Book of Job that Satan can harm only the body and not the soul. Jesus is the Judge of the “threshing floor.” He is the One who can destroy both the body and soul in Hell. Perhaps, the Holy Ghost that Jesus gave up, accompanied Judas with Satan in him to Hell on the day of the crucifixion. There, in Gehenna (the entrance to Hell) was where Judas was buried. Judas went to a place where the soul never dies but is always dying, and Satan went with him. Jesus is Name of the Spirit that did that!

So, by God’s standards, death is not the cessation of body functions but when the soul is depleted of the Spirit of God.

(Man is not totally but mostly depraved for they are worth saving.)

The man who followed Jesus was alive in that he walked as Jesus walked. Those who failed to take up their crosses and follow Jesus were spiritually dead. Although they remained animated, they failed to walk with Jesus and were spiritually dead. “In Christ” when living is alive alive!

In the Garden, the flesh of Adam and his mate were glorious; it was incorruptible because they were the Image of an Incorrupt God. They had the same Identities as their “Father,” not that God sired them, but they had the Genome of God encoded within them that made them like Him.

With sin, that Genome was removed. They were no longer the Image (Selem) of the LORD GOD, but the image (nahas) of their new “lord” Lucifer (Gen 4:1). (His plan was well in place at that time to replace God as the Creator; Isa 14:12-14).

Because of sin, of course, their souls died and like Jesus said, so did their bodies; not that they became inanimate but that their kinds were changed from the Image of the LORD GOD to the image of the Serpent. Because their new flesh, of which they were ashamed, was corrupted genetically (original sin), God put onto them His “coats of skin” to preserve them in the world (Gen 3:21). Perhaps those skins are what men wear to this day, but when they fail God, their flesh is removed from the soul, and they would die; but not die die until the end.

Therefore, perhaps the living who do not follow Jesus are the dead, and in the end, they will be the dead dead, just as Adam and Eve in the beginning.

By grace, one of the “dead’s” was removed for they could be saved. Jesus did that because of the Cross; “The graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, and came out of the graves after His Resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many” (Mat 27:52-53). No longer is Adam dead dead, but alive alive in the Bosom of the “Last Adam” — Jesus.

Just as the “bosom” of Abraham was surely the source of the seed of Abraham — His genome — so the Bosom of Jesus would be the Genome of God, or the Image of God again. Adam was regenned when Jesus was resurrected, and he is alive alive in Paradise because he has Christ in him.

Of course, “to die” was said twice “mut mut” because death is of the flesh and the soul. Sin causes the death of both, so to die to die is what sinners shall do. But if in Christ, “To die is gain” (Phil 1:21), not “to die die” is gain but only “to die” a physical death!

HEAVEN IS FOR REAL AND SO ARE DEMONS

 

 

Where is Jesus when you need Him? He is always there in Spirit, ready to Comfort things. Jesus was here this morning, revealing to me that demons had gotten inside so many that the end may be near as it was in the days of Noah. Now for the commentary.

A fine Catholic friend scoffed when I spoke of demons. “Demons are malevolent supernatural entities” (Wikipedia 2023). Mark referred to demons as “unclean spirits” (Mark 5:2) and Matthew “devils” (Mat 8:16).

Scripture supports the notion of demons and so does the Books of Enoch and the Book of Jubilees. Luke wrote about them as devils as well:

¹⁷ And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, “Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.” ¹⁸ And He said unto them, “I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.” (Luke 10:17-18)

Jesus was referring to Lucifer, as the “devil” called “Satan,” to wit: “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!” (Isa 14:12).

The meaning of “weaken the nations,” many think are the bodies of people on Earth. Of course, that he can do as well! However, that perhaps means the weakening of the angelic kingdom who followed Lucifer to Earth. If so, then that is the origin of demons and that occurred before the foundation of the Earth and perhaps on the “second day” when, as it is written, “God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so” (Gen 1:7).

“Genesis” is what God said about generating, not just this world, but the world beyond this one — the other side of the firmament in a place called “the heaven” (Gen 1:1).

Any word with the root “gen” refers to what is now known as “DNA” in genetics. Solomon called the DNA, I believe, the “silver cord,” or literally, “the pale twisted thread” (Strong 2006).

“Dividing the waters from the waters,” is literally separating the semen from the semen (ibid). The semen of all life carries the genomes (DNA) in every nuclear cell. Dividing the semen from the semen before the foundation of the Earth is probably the creation of angels and men as separate entities. The kingdom of homo sapiens (“wise men”) is Anamalia. Of course, taxonomy does not classify the supernatural world, so beings from there would be non-animalia.

Both animalia and non-animalia would be eukaryotes based on their ancient origins. Science thinks of unicellular organisms as “eukaryotes.” However, mankind was not made like the single-cell eukaryotes, but the non-cellular creatures from another domain.

We were not made in the image of fungi but in the Image of God, and made a little lower than the angels, as Paul wrote: 

What is man, that You are mindful of him? or the son of man that You visit him? You made him a little lower than the angels; You crowned him with glory and honour and did set him over the works of Your hands. (Heb 2:6-7)

 Paul was describing Adam and Adam’s gens — his seed, or kingdom.

Mankind is not the progeny of angels, but of a similar image to them. Both were generated in the Image of God, but angels came first.

Hence, angels are real beings that are much like humans. Both angels and men are of the Seed of God but somewhat different. Whereas mankind is visible and made of matter, angels are invisible and not of matter, as science defines matter.

Science does not address the unseen outside of denying its existence. Hence, there is no taxonomy for angels. Because science does not recognize angels does not make angels less real just as only recently has antimatter been discovered. It was real before it was discovered and is just as real afterward.

Just like the supernatural, just a few years ago, antimatter was non-existent, but for all matter, there is anti-matter. The point is that science is not the final Word… God IS. Because there is no physical evidence, just like antimatter for millennia, does not make the unseen world non-existent.

To believe in demons, a person must first believe in the invisible realm and that there is a non-eukaryota, non-animalia existence beyond this realm. In fact, Judeo-Christians must believe in a “heaven” to be rewarded with Paradise in heaven. If there is no heaven, then there is no afterlife, and this life is futile; it terminates in finality!

The firmament means “matter.” The firmament is the realm of the animalia beings and eukarota life within the firmament — the Cosmos.

Angelic life resides beyond matter and even the Cosmos. Enoch referred to the “Tenth Heaven” as beyond the Cosmos. We might think that means outside the firmament, or Cosmos, but it merely means beyond matter.  The other realm is as near as the death because after death the body is gone and only the soul remains. Do not think of humans as flesh, blood, and bones; that is only our “vehicle” for moving around in this realm. The real you are your souls that this material world cannot, but endeavors, to overcome.

Angels have no “vehicle;” they merely move “to and fro” at will between the two realms (Job 1:7). Angels move about with ease. “In the Earth” is within the ground (Hebrew; ‘eres), wherein man (adama) walks, with them traversing between one realm and the next.

Satan and the “sons of God” are not bound by material things, moving freely wherever they desire to be. Angels are not “sons” of God in a reproductive sense but like mankind, they were Images, or the gens of God. Those angels that were with Satan are what Christians consider to be “demons.” Job knew them to be real. The Book of Job is about how real demons truly are!

Jesus said, “I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.” He saw Satan come from the invisible realm to this world. Most often, although Jesus could see them, humans cannot. They must make themselves visible to be seen.

The Book of Adam and Eve and Their Conflicts With Satan tells of Satan and “its” demons shape-shifting to deceive Adam and Eve. Satan can transform “itself” into a human being-like creature that walks among mankind. So, that cute young girl may be a demon angel entertaining you with you unaware.

Paul wrote to the Hebrews, “Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares” (Heb 13:20. Conversely, Forget being entertained by strangers: for thereby demon angels have entertained them without them being aware. That lovely young girl you desire just might be a succubus — a demon acting as a beautiful girl who seeks to imbue you with her charm!

Demons can affect you without being in you. The “father” of demons is not the LORD GOD but their “god.” Hence, as “sons of god,” demons angels are not in the Image of JHVH but in the image of Lucifer, the first fallen angel. That image is called the “Serpent,” but the Serpent is invisible. Perhaps the “Serpentine” image (nahas) is the unholy sperm from the Luciferin being.

Angels neither marry nor are given in marriage in heaven. Jesus revealed to Christians their natures upon regeneration: “In the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven” (Mat 22:30). Implied therein are two things: (1) In the Garden of Eden there was union but not coupling. It was a spiritual union. And (2) angels, when in the world, can indeed couple. It seems that the first sin was such a coupling because the outcome was a deviant being, “Cain, who was of the Wicked One” (1 John 3:12).

It is implied that an “incubus” — a male demon — hovered over the woman and made a man, not an “’adam,” but another existence within her (Gen 4:1) (Strong 2006). Thus, the “daughters of men” (‘adam) were really “daughters of Cain” and of another taxonomy.

The genetics of the half human, half demon, Cain had got into the “Sons of God” which the Book of Jasher reveals to be the righteous gens of Seth. By the time of the deluge, God destroyed the depraved genes of all those who lived on Earth, and created another ‘adam, Noah, who found grace (Gen 6:8), or the Image of God in him.

Jesus spoke of the curse of evil human beings; their destiny will be the same as the demons, in a place of “everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels” (Mat 25:41).

Hopefully, the reader gets the point. Satan — the nature of Lucifer — was imbued in all the angels that followed him. That “nature” is serpentine (cunning), also called “demonic.”

The nature of Adam’s kind was meant to be like the glorious Image of God, but Lucifer imbued the old image of “itself” into Eve by carnal knowledge. Thenceforth, all of Cain’s progeny have been like their “father,” or progenitor, “You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do (John 8:44).

Different kinds cannot reproduce. For instance, Christians, because they are “in Christ” and of the gens of God, should not be able to copulate with demons. However, because humans are depraved, “shapen in iniquity” in the womb (Psalm 51:5) with the gens of Lucifer; they can do that.  

The only thing left to prevent further erosion of our genes to demonic genes is with Christ in you, as is written: 

To whom (the saints) God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Col 1:27)

 The hope that those of Adam’s kind who have the gens of Christ will be regenerated in the Image of God a second time.

When is the hope of glory? At the rapture, when those in Christ will be remade glorious with new incorruptible flesh, “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed” (1 Cor 15:52).

It is not that sinners have demons in them; it is that they have the identity, or DNA, of demons that have resided in their kind since the original sin. That is how Lucifer works, but if that does not, then demons do come in; oftentimes “legions” of them (Mark 5:9).

How can demons be exorcised? Jesus gave the remedy… “This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting” (Mark 9:29).

Jesus identified the other kind! He validated another taxonomical classification. They are invisible existences that drive men mad — crazy! The nature of the man of the Gadarenes who had demons was identified: 

³ … His dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains: ⁴ Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him. ⁵ And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones. (Mark 5:3-5)

 The demons within him were driving him to suicide. It was not paranoia but real demons because somehow, it does not say, he encountered demons… many of them. He became a wild animal, afraid all who came near him.

Rather than fearing the demons, he feared those who would put him in bonds. That is how demons operate; they get humans to do the physical work of driving them crazy. They fear and shun the chains more so than what has them in chains within their souls!

Sometimes people bind themselves out of fear of what might be in them. They look outside of themselves and see demons everywhere, but the demons are inside of them, filling their souls with fear.

Yes, you should believe in demons, but they cannot kill the soul, only the body (Mat 10:28).

What happened to the man of the Gadarenes? “When he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him” (Mark 5:6). Because he worshipped Jesus, Jesus took care of the demons in him and destroyed them; they went over the cliff in swine. Because he worshipped Jesus, Jesus saved him from himself. The demons were not harming the man; he had been harming himself.

All those the man was thinking were out to get him were protecting him from himself. They sought to protect the man from things unseen. He was not paranoid at all; somethings were out to get him, but it was not the men who hunted and chained him. His stalkers had found a home inside the man because his soul was empty of the Spirit of Jesus. When he saw Jesus, his fear of demons was relieved, because the Spirit of Jesus displaced them.

Those kinds of demons must be seriously prayed out while fasting from all things: food, spirits, narcotics, or about anything these days.

Hopefully by now, you believe in demons. They are not in you per se but can get into you if you go the wrong places and entertain them unaware of who they are. Satan and his demons presented themselves to the Sons of Seth as beautiful women from another place (The Book of Jasher). They believed that they were really beautiful women but inside of them were demons! God protected the sons of Seth until they gradually fell away and encountered demonic activity (Gen 6). What did God want to happen? That they enter not unto temptation, and He would deliver them from evil.

What are we to do? Enter not unto temptation. It may be demons that entertain you.

For me, I stay away from hard rock music. According to God in the II Book of Adam and Eve, they are instruments of evil. Enoch was also shown by God that hard liquor and such were other instruments used by the wicked, Genun, to change who people are inside (Chapter XX): 

After Cain had gone down to the land of dark soil, and his children had multiplied therein, there was one of them, whose name was Genun, son of Lamech the blind who slew Cain.

 

But as to this Genun, Satan came into him in his childhood; and he made sundry trumpets and horns, and string instruments, cymbals and psalteries, and lyres and harps, and flutes ; and he played on them at all times and at every hour.

 

And when he played on them, Satan came into them, so that from among them were heard beautiful and sweet sounds, that ravished the heart.

 

Then he gathered companies upon companies to play on them; and when they played, it pleased well the children of Cain, who inflamed themselves with sin among themselves, and burnt as with fire while Satan inflamed their hearts one with another, and increased lust among them.

 

Satan also taught Genun to bring strong drink out of corn; and this Genun used to bring together companies upon companies in drink-houses; and brought into their hands all manner of fruits and flowers; and they drank together.

 

Thus did this Genun multiply sin exceedingly; he also acted with pride, and taught the children of Cain to commit all manner of the grossest wickedness which they knew not; and put them up to manifold doings which they knew not before.

 

Then Satan, when he saw that they yielded to Genun and hearkened to him in every thing he told them, rejoiced greatly increased Genun's understanding, until he took iron and with it made weapons of war.

 

Then when they were drunk, hatred and murder increased among them; one man used violence against another to teach him [evil], taking his children and defiling them before him.

 

And when men saw they were overcome, and [saw] others that were not overpowered, those who were beaten came to Genun, took refuge with him, and he made them his confederates.

 

Then sin increased among them greatly; until a man married his own sister, or daughter, or mother, and others; or the daughter of his father's sister, so that there was no more distinction [of relationship], and they no longer knew what is iniquity ; but did wickedly, and the earth was defiled with sin; and they angered God the Judge, who had created them. 

That is how Genun got into the righteous ones of Seth’s progeny. Genun had Satan enter him and left him with a demon. Then Genun provided all the instruments that would get into them, and eventually, as the account goes, demons got into them (Gen 6).

THE GREATEST AUTHORITY

 As I began my study of scripture this morning, I was tempted to bypass the story of the faithful centurion because it was so hard to comprehend. However, I was assured by a thought that I will understand it if I only go there. Hence, I went there, and the following is the understanding that God put into my mind. The “Word” did what I feared that I could not do. I had had little faith, but the story is about a centurion with great faith.

Faith is a variable. Some have little faith and others great faith. During trials and tribulations, the degree of faith varies. Faith is the degree that Jesus is trusted over time. Faith is all the time, but the degrees of faith waver.  Even those with a little faith will inherit the Kingdom of God, but those with great faith will be an authority there.

Jesus encountered a centurion with great faith. His faith in Jesus did not waver. This is the story of the great faith exemplified by that Gentile man.

Jesus continued his journey and as he approached Capernaum, he encountered a centurion who had high authority. However, he compared himself to Jesus, “I am not worthy that You should come under my roof: but speak the Word only, and my servant shall be healed” (Mat 8:8). Usually, his own word made things happened, but in spiritual matters, he turned to Jesus for help with his servant with the palsy (paralysis), even though he was in severe pain. (His flesh was as dead but his pain was alive.)

The man was paralyzed — as if dead — but he was still tormented; he could still sense pain even though his flesh was as dead.

The centurion, rather than take him to a doctor for a physical condition, took him to Jesus for a spiritual one. It seems that the man was experiencing Hell.

Many people say they experience heaven as they are dying, but this man was experiencing Hell. That is not extraordinary at all. Evil people, as they lie dying, often experience great torment.

One person of note was the leader of the mob that lynched two innocent men. On his deathbed, he even said that he was in Hell, and asked that a blanket be placed between him and the fireplace some distance away. It was not the fire that he was experiencing but a foretaste of Hell and he acknowledged that. [1]

Can you imagine that; the man, if this interpretation is true, was as if already in Hell; not quite there but well on the way. The centurion knew that, and although he could command people, he had no power to exorcise demons.

Paul wrote of such a man as that years later, “¹ …Be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus… ³ Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. (2 Tim 2:1,3). A good soldier is strong, not because of himself, but because of faith in Christ. The centurion, the “good soldier” that he was, turned to Jesus to fight the spiritual battles. His sword was of no use, but “the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God” (Ephes 6:17) was effective against unseen powers. Jesus fought the spirit in that man with the Word; that was His “Sword.” 

¹⁰ When Jesus heard it (the centurion’s faith), He marvelled, and said to them that followed, “Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.” ¹¹ And I say unto you, ‘That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. ¹² But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’” (Mat 8:10-12)

 Jesus “marveled” but the centurion had not! The centurion had so much faith, that he did not marvel at what Jesus could do because his faith was solely in the Power of Jesus.

Jesus had said in an earlier account, “Marvel not; you must be born again” (John 3:7). The centurion had not marveled at the miracle of Jesus; he was born again. His power came neither from Caesar nor himself, but from Jesus. He was a “Christian soldier” who relied on the Power of Jesus to defeat the unseen principalities.

The centurion’s faith had salvaged what was left of the manservant, but Jesus performed the miracle. The Gentile centurion’s faith had exceeded the faith of the Jews who depended on Abraham and at death would rest in “Abraham’s Bosom” (Paradise in Heaven; Luke 16). Jesus was indicating that the centurion would rest in His own Bosom upon death!

Then Jesus marveled further, “But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

The “children of the kingdom” were in Abraham’s kingdom here on Earth as opposed to Abraham’s Kingdom in Heaven. [2] Jesus, because He lived here on Earth, was not yet glorified until death, so those who had died, rested in Abraham’s Bosom.

That recalls the rich man of that story. Where did he reside at death? 

²² “…the rich man also died, and was buried; ²³ And in Hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and sees Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. ²⁴ And he cried and said, “Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.” ²⁵ But Abraham said, “Son, remember that you in your lifetime received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and you art tormented. ²⁶ And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.” (Luke 16:22-26)

 The rich man called too late. The centurion called just in time to save his man from torments. The manservant to the centurion was destined for this place — a division of the Third Heaven, according to the Book of Enoch, wherein Hades and Paradise are separated by a great gulf. His future would be with the rich man in torment, but Jesus intervened. Marvel not; Jesus changed his future! He preserved the man from his fate.

It is likely that the tormented man was a Jew because at that time Jews were servants to the seed of Japheth — the Romans. The man might have thought that because he was a Jew that his reward would be heaven because of his genome. On the other hand, the genome of the centurion was Gentile, and he had no expectations that he would deserve a Jewish Paradise. Because he knew that he deserved nothing from the Jew Jesus, but had faith in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the Gentile centurion became “a Jew inwardly” since his faith had circumcised his heart (Rom 2:29).

Not only did Jesus change the destiny of the servant but the destiny of the servant’s master. If the centurion had died right then, he too would have been in Abraham’s Bosom although his genetics were not of Abraham! However, he had become a “son of God” and because of his faith, would have been endowed with the genetics of Jesus, becoming a fellow heir with Him. Jesus, with the Spirit of God within, made known a forgotten secret, “That the Gentiles should be fellow-heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel” (Ephes 3:6).

The master and the servant, in death, would not be apart! Both would be succored in Abraham’s Bosom during the times of hardship and distress, here in this world.

[1] My own father told me the story of a man he knew, and many in Pulaski County, Kentucky repeated the exact same story. That man was a politician who took the law into his own hands to punish two young man even without evidence. Later, it was revealed that they were innocent. The politician, by then a distraught seller of salve believed he was sensing Hell and its torments. (The name is withheld to shield his family from shame.)

[2] The Book of Jasher reveals that Abraham resided in the Promised Land of Canaan, although his Kingdom was of another world. Those who only resided in Judea then would suffer Hell in another world. Without the knowledge from Jasher — the “righteous” this passage would mean nothing. I marveled at Jesus because he credited the Book or Jasher.

THE WRONG DIAGNOSIS

Jesus had finished his doctrine that He taught the multitude; now the same multitude followed Him and He showed to them His miracles. The first one was the leper:

¹ When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed Him. ² And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped Him, saying, “Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.” ³ And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, “I will; be thou clean.” And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. (Mat 8:1-3)

The leper had a skin issue — an issue of the flesh. From the root Greek word, “lepra” the man’s flesh was peeling off in scales. Lepers were considered unclean and quite contagious although modern medicine has since learned that it is not so.

The Law of Moses addressed that man quite well:

⁴⁴ He is a leprous man, he is unclean: the priest shall pronounce him utterly unclean; his plague is in his head. ⁴⁵ And the leper in whom the plague is, his clothes shall be rent, and his head bare, and he shall put a covering upon his upper lip, and shall cry, “Unclean, unclean.” ⁴⁶ All the days wherein the plague shall be in him he shall be defiled; he is unclean: he shall dwell alone; without the camp shall his habitation be. (Lev 13:44-46)

What should Jesus have done according to the Law if Jesus had been just any Jewish man? He would have shunned the man, scorned him, and reminded him of the Law. That man was breaking the Law and the pharisaical “politically correct” would have severely punished him, although the man had done nothing wrong, saying only, “Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.” Do not punish me, he was thinking, heal me!

The Law said, “his plague is in his head.” What does that mean? Plague therein comes from the root word in Hebrew “naga’,” meaning that he was stricken, or that some thing had touched him (Strong 2006). Indubitably, they were implying that leprosy was because of sin and was God’s punishment for sinning. The root verb of the word, head, means “shaking.” (ibid).

The Jews thought that leprosy was not only of the flesh but of the mind as well. This may seem extreme, but dead flesh, according to the Law, was required to be cast into a fire as a sin offering to God (Exod 29:14). The man was implying, Don’t burn me, save me!

Ironically, if leprosy had truly been brought on by sin, then rather than cry “Unclean! Unclean!” they should have asked God to make the leper clean.

Jesus was thought to be “beside Himself” (Mark 3:21); that like the leper, the “plague” of Jesus was in His head as well; that Jesus had the Devil in Him (Mat 12:24). The penalty for Jesus required punishment, but rather than the self-righteous ones screaming “Unclean! Unclean!” they screamed “Crucify Him! Crucify Him” (Luke 23:21)!

According to the historian, Josephus, death on the cross was a “holocaust” in the lexicon of the Jews. The holocaust was the burnt offering of the flesh. The dead flesh of a leper, theoretically, should have been burnt, but rather, the leper was isolated from the community, many of them forever. If they were made clean, then the burning was by the fleshes of other kinds.

How was the crucifixion a holocaust? It may be a stretch, but maybe not! Jesus was thought to have the Devil in Him. His flesh was dead and should have been burned.

Now consider Judas who had Satan really enter him (Luke 22:3). Once Judas was dead, just like Jesus was thought to be — dead on a “tree” — he was buried in Gehenna, the entryway to Hell as it symbolizes. The self-sacrifice of Judas because he had sinned, was a “holocaust” — a burnt offering, although neither was Judas physically burnt. The burning was in his head, or “vicariously.”

The holocaust of Jesus was not from a physical fire, but they possibly thought that they were sending “Satan” in Jesus to Gehenna. For the multitude, it was a holocaust because Jesus was the dead flesh that would be destined for Hell. They accused Jesus of being unclean, albeit it was Judas. (The Muslims still believe that, and someday Isa, their Jesus, will return with a vengeance, obviously for the wrong holocaust of the flesh of Judas.)

The leper should have been isolated until he was clean; no longer would there be sin in his head. That implies that while isolated, the leper would ask for God to cleanse him of his sin, and his flesh would be healed. That makes sense because of the “Law of the Leper”:

² This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing: He shall be brought unto the priest: ³ And the priest shall go forth out of the camp; and the priest shall look, and, behold, if the plague of leprosy be healed in the leper; ⁴ Then shall the priest command to take for him that is to be cleansed two birds alive and clean, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop: ⁵ And the priest shall command that one of the birds be killed in an earthen vessel over running water…” (Lev 14:2-5)

The Law was merciful. The leper would be isolated for his mind to be made clean; that would heal the dying flesh. The priest would go to the leper and diagnose him. If there were no scales of flesh to be sacrificed in thanks to the healing of both the mind and the flesh, the priest was to offer two live birds, clean, along with cedar wood, scarlet, and hyssop. Then the priest would command the one of the birds be killed in an earthen vessel, and the other made clean and released.

That is what happened to the two of the three “jail birds” at the crucifixion — one was sacrificed and the other made free, but the thank offering would be much different:

¹² And the priest shall take one he lamb, and offer him for a trespass offering, and the log of oil, and wave them for a wave offering before the Lord: ¹³ And he shall slay the lamb in the place where he shall kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the holy place: for as the sin offering is the priest's… ¹⁹ And the priest shall offer the sin offering, and make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed from his uncleanness; and afterward he shall kill the burnt offering.” (Lev 14:12-13, 19)

That is what the priest would do for the leper, but what was it that the High Priest commanded to be done at the holocaust of Jesus? Treat Him as the leper. The Priest offered the lamb and Pilate offered the jail birds. One of the two “birds” was sacrificed and the another set free (Barabbas). The Lamb of God was the to be the burnt offering for sin in general. Hence, the sacrifice of Jesus was a burnt offering — a “holocaust” — that maybe was intended to be burned.

That hypothesis remains unproven because the priests did not steal the body from the tomb as suspicioned, possibly for burning, but Jesus did not remain dead; he walked out alive. I submit that the Jews, just like Jesus, was mean to be a holocaust according to the Law.

The Law killed Jesus, but God cannot be killed. Jesus was not made a burnt offering because he was the Living Sacrifice that need not be burned because His Flesh was pure and even His Mind was without sin!

Jews believe that the Torah has nothing to do with Jesus, but every “Word” therein is about Jesus. John revealed that to the world (John 1:1-14).

Jesus was sacrificed because his malady was of the mind... He thought He was God! For the priest, He was to be treated according to the Law of the Leper.

Josephus wrongly thought that the sacrifice of Jesus was a burnt offering — a “Holocaust.” Why would he think that? Because the tomb of Jesus was empty. The Jews would, like Josephus, believe that the Chief priests — the two of them — rolled back the stone, stole the body of Jesus, and burned it in the fiery pit called “Gehenna.” 

Without proof, my bet is that Jews, much like the Arabs, believe that Judas was Jesus because there were two “crucifixions” of “Satan” that day and one was a Holocaust.

CIRCUMVENTING THE SEAL

 Regeneration is preservation. Mankind was grown in the Garden of God. The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there He put the man whom he had formed” (Gen 2:8).

What does any gardener do if they are growing for the purpose to survive? Preserve the fruits of their garden. After God’s crop of adama grew, an “impurity” got into them by an unseen but foreseen disease. God apparently desired to test the purity of His preserves before “cold packing” them. Lucifer was made for God to test the crop of humans that were to come with his own likeness imbued within them.

God allowed Adam and Eve to sin. It was not His choice but theirs! They could have been preserved with good moral purity or with contaminants within. Adam and Eve chose “death,” not that they would die but that the preserves made from themselves would have what is now called a “shelf-life.”

God preserved Adam about 930 years and Eve about the same. He preserved their flesh that long, but their souls would endure to the end if their flesh were well-preserved. God promised Adam that, in his case, that his grave would be opened in 5500 years (Books of Adam and Eve), and it was; “And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose” and were resurrected with Jesus. (Adam is believed to be buried beneath Calvary).

Because Adam was resurrected, both his well-preserved body and soul were saved on that day because Jesus was the “Last Adam” (1 Cor 15:45) whose Spirit, or Ghost, made the flesh of Adam live again.

God preserved both Adam and Eve, to wit: “Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins and clothed them” (Gen 3:21). They were not just the skins of animals, but God put His Skin on them. Perhaps that “skin” was the Holy Ghost; that is not known, but regardless, the skin was meant to preserve them after they were cast out of Paradise unto the world (Gen 3:24).

Why would they require skins to preserve them? Because of the world unto which they were to be stored until the day that Jesus would come to resurrect them. He would want them to be “very good” or as good as they had been in the Garden (Gen 1:31).

Think now of preserves. As such, God would preserve both them and their seed just as He did with Lot through his daughters who thought that they could preserve the seed of their father (Gen 19:33-35). (They did but it soon became contaminated.)  Only God can preserve mankind and their seed, and Jesus is the Preserver as His Name indicates — “Ya Preserves.”

Now consider Noah, God put onto him the Garment of Adam (Book of Jasher) to preserve him. The Bible agrees with that premise, “Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord” (Gen 6:8). That “grace” Jasher indicates was the Garment of Adam. Noah wore that “Garment” for 120 years until he was safe but still in the world. Soon, Noah was discovered naked by his son, Ham. Jasher says that Ham stole the Garment, but it was Noah who took it off.

God never took off the “life-preserver;” Noah did that himself. God sealed him to preserve his life, but Noah unsealed himself and was exposed to new wine. Again, death got into him as the grapes were fermented, meaning that the wine had death within.

Now consider modern canning — “cold-packing.”

Humans are cold-packed in funeral homes to preserve their flesh even in death. At least there, they cannot open the door themselves to perish themselves! The shelf life for humans who have died has been extended with modern technology in which the flesh can be preserved for hundreds of years.

God does much better than that!

Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed. (John 6:27)

And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. (Ephes 4:30)

(Christ) In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise (Ephes 1:13)

Nobody should argue about salvation, but hard-headed people do! You are sealed by the Holy Spirit of God, just like Adam. His “day of redemption” was when Jesus was crucified. Adam was surely the first saint that arose from the ground because Adam is “ground” in the Hebrew Lexicon. Jesus, on that day redeemed the seed of Adam, all who trust in Him (Ephes 1:13).

Because Jesus gave up the Ghost (Mark 15:37) made the Spirit of God free for all who will “wear” it. The Holy Spirit is meant to be worn until the “day of redemption.”

When might that be? “He that endureth to the end shall be saved” (Mat 10:22). That is the “day of redemption.” They endure, not by their own preservation, but because God provides the “vessel.” That vessel was translated as “cup” (Mat 26). “Vessel” would have been a more general translation (Strong 2006).

Jesus was the “Vessel” that held Living Water to preserve the world. He poured the Living Water and His Seed (the genes in every nuclear cell of His Blood). The precious Seed of the Last Adam was preserved for all who would “drink” of His Body and Blood later (Holy Communion) (1 Cor 11:27).

The Seed of Jesus was preserved at the crucifixion, not on the ground as one might think, but in the Holy Spirit. The Ghost of God was the true Vessel that preserves the Seed of God, not His Body. When drinking and eating, those who partook worthily understood that it was the Body and Genome of God in the Holy Ghost, not the person beside them! Why else to never blaspheme the Holy Ghost?

Regeneration begins the day that the person “drinks” of the Spirit of God; they are “born again,” or literally engendered from above (ibid). The Holy Ghost (from another realm) seeds the convert with glorious seed and a new creature is planted on Earth in the same manner as Adam and righteous Abel, and even possibly the sons of Shem.

Again the “Garden of God,” the one that He plants, must grow for the duration — until the “day of redemption” when the crop is harvested.  The harvesting of the crop (the Church) should always be kept in mind, “Now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed” (Rom 13:11).

Therein is a timeline: belief > resting in peace (safety) > salvation. The King James Version is the Calvinistic Version of the Bible. According to theologians mostly Calvinists revised the Geneva Bible. The meaning of words is not concrete from language to language. For instance, the Greek word “sosos” can mean either safe or saved. Likewise, the word “soteria” can mean either safety or salvation (ibid). The Calvinists chose the word that fits their doctrine in most cases.

So, when is the “day of redemption”? Apolytrosis, meaning deliverance. It is the time that Jesus delivers the produce from His Garden! 

¹⁶ The Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: ¹⁷ Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. (1 Thes 4:16-17)

 You see, God is the “Husbandman;” He is the “Gardener” and Jesus the “Preserver.”

As the “Tekton,” Jesus, not only a Carpenter, but a “Preserver” who preserves the crop from the Garden of God that He continues to plant. It was not just a one-time Garden but a continuous crop as Seth, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Joshua, and even David revealed. The best of the crop came when Jesus sowed His seed for the world to reproduce His Seed.

Now consider cold-packing. Many of us have done that with the produce from our gardens. In the case of God, the harvest is of living souls just like in the beginning. God first produced those souls (The Vessel that would contain His Image) that would grow (life) (Gen 1:27). Then God put onto them a “peeling” (Gen 2:7) of sorts. I hate to use it, but like a seed potato.

One seed would grow from another seed, much like cloning potatoes in real gardens. This time, the “potatoes” were the good variety — the homo sapien kind.

Again, an invisible substance got into the creatures. They began to rot. In the process of time, they did decay all the way because of sin. What is sin? Not doing wrong but having the nature of the Beast whose wrong they will do, like their progenitor, the Devil (John 8:44). Cain was produced with the bad seed of Satan and it was his will that Cain would do.

Adam and Eve were preserved with sin inside the vessel. It is learned from the Book of Adam and Eve and Their Conflicts with Satan that they continued to sin again and again because of deceptions from Satan.

In “skins,” at last, the Word (Jesus) preserved them — kept them safe — until they were saved on the first “day of the Lord” after the crucifixion when Jesus and them both were Resurrected (Mat 26:43).

When canning, great care must be taken to cleanse the produce so that contamination, as little as possible, is in the preserves. Why clean them? Because a “little leaven leavens the whole lump” (Gal 5:9). Leaven is things like fungi which emit gases that cause pressure in the vessel.

Baptism is a cleaning of the vessel. It is the ceremonial cleansing of the soul, vicariously, by cleansing the outer vessel. Only Jesus can wash the soul and that is the “baptism of the Holy Ghost.” The “Tekton” can do that, we cannot!

When cold-packing, the produce must be washed, but before it is washed it must be picked. Jesus picks only the good crop, ignores the tares and weak produce. That is the intent of the Parable of the Tares.

In like manner, Cain was not picked to be preserved, but the best of the best, only still imperfect, Seth, was picked for his seed to be preserved. You must be good, but only God is Good enough to deserve preservation. That’s why Jesus was grown from the seed, or gens, of God.

So, only the best of the crop, the first crop, is chosen since those fruits that hang on the vine the longest, go bad on the vine. So, goes some Christians, as I have pointed out.

A Christian is not all good fruit. They include all those who follow Christ. Even Simon Magus was a Christian for a short time, even receiving baptism, to wit: “Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done” (Acts 8:13).

 But then he blasphemed it with Gnosticism,

Simon was washed clean by men, but he had not been washed inwardly by God (Acts 8:18). God washes the inward man!

Simon was bad fruit, and he was so spoiled inwardly that he wasn’t fit to be preserved even though he followed and believed in Jesus. Jesus sorted him out by neglecting to cleanse the contents of his soul… the other “vessel” that looked like Simon and was the real Simon.

Now after planting the seed, cultivating it, watching it grow, pulling out the tares, picking, trimming the bad, washing it, and so forth, it is put into clean vessels. 

No man puts new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles. (Mark 2:22)

 Jesus said that! What would happen? Any cold-packer would know that the bottles would break even though they were sealed. Why? Because there would be a residue of leaven in the old bottles that was not “baptized” rightly.

“New wine” would be the grapes. The intent was not necessarily to make alcoholic wine that comes from leaven but to preserve the grape juice. Why would that be foolish? Because the fruit within can break the bottle or even rupture the seal.

When cold-packing — converting the fruit to the food — a clean vessel is prepared. That is the intent of baptism. Then the fruit that is to be converted into food to be eaten later is put into the jar. Conversion provides the “fruit” in the doctrine of Jesus.

The seal is then applied to the vessel, and the cap screwed or locked on. Why is that? To seal the jar. What happens when the vessel, now full and sealed, goes onto the heat? Many of us know from experience; given too much heat or too long a time, either the vessel perishes or at a minimum the seal is broken, and the fruit therein is exposed to the world and is of no further use.

Given that the preserves make it through the heat (the “world” in the doctrine of Jesus), it can be of use. However, if it is packed with leaven within (“sin” in the doctrine of Christ), given some time it can perish. The leaven can break the seal from within.

Christ, just as He says, seals the vessel, and He did it to God’s standards. If it was packed with leaven, although cleansed within and without, sin can still seep in trhough the pores or microscopic cracks in the vessel. (Jesus knew that!)

That depends on the substance of the vessel because the seal is good. The vessel may crack in the world.

I have dropped perfectly well canned goods. Although sealed well and in an adequate vessel, outside forces can still crack the jar even with the seal intact.

That is what Satan plans on doing; to circumvent the preserves (those who are safe) enduring to the end!

Mom would often send me to the cellar to retrieve some canned goods. Some may have been there a long time! However, careless me would often stumble and the jar would break. I was her “little demon,” as she sometimes reminded me.

I would pick up the pieces, but the seal would remain unbroken. Time might have broken it with the gases from the leaven. The seal might break from within or even the jar might self-destruct. The latter is what Christians might do.

On the other hand, Satan can destroy the produce without ever breaking the Seal that God placed on the vessel. It is written, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour…” (1 Pet 5:8).

Peter wrote that to the elders and to the flock (of Christians). The elders were the “elect,” and most of the Christians were followers. He warned them that although preserved by Jesus by sealing them with the Holy Ghost, the Devil can still get to them. Somehow, just like in the Garden of God, Satan can pass through the seal. Yes, even the Garden of God was sealed (Gen 3:24) but sin still got in for it to “explode” without breaking the seal of God!

You, Christian, are the “first fruits;” the most choice and peculiar of the preserves (1 Pet 2:9). Satan already has regular fruit, just as Adam and Eve could eat of ordinary fruit. Satan wants God’s fruit that He seeded, grew, cultivated, harvests, and preserves… And he can get in without breaking the seal!

Scripture must be taken in context. A few verses do not tell the whole story! The Old Testament is the rest of the story that Paul called the “mystery of God” and the “mystery of Christ.” You must read all the mystery to know just Who dunnit (sic) and how He went about doing it.

Because God seals something, only God can break the seal. However, the foolish and careless people can sneak dirt into anywhere, and Satan can and does break the jars of preserves!
