SEEING THE LIGHT IN THINGS

Light is the “First Cause” of everything. Science is still looking for “The Theory of Everything,” to wit:

 A theory of everything (TOE), final theory, ultimate theory, unified field theory, or master theory is a hypothetical singular, all-encompassing, coherent theoretical framework of physics that fully explains and links together all aspects of the universe. Finding a theory of everything is one of the major unsolved problems in physics. (Wikipedia 2025)

True God-inspired theologians have discovered “The Theory of Everything,” but it is not theory, but ultimate truth: “This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that God is Light, and in Him is no darkness at all” (1 John 1:5)

To be honest, science is on the verge of aligning with God. No longer did the cosmos “evolve,” as they once said, but was created by Intelligence. The proof of that is a recent discovery. A vacuum (like space) was once thought to contain nothing at all, but now science has found that vacuums in the absence of matter still contain photons that switch on and off, sort of in a twinkling of the eye, so rapidly do they shine unseen before they perish, and that they are not comprehended except with special apparatus.

Physicists have achieved the first-ever real-time, 3D simulations of how intense laser beams alter the quantum vacuum — a state once assumed to be empty, but which quantum physics predicts is full of virtual electron-positron pairs. Excitingly, these simulations recreate a bizarre phenomenon predicted by quantum physics, known as vacuum four-wave mixing; this states that the combined electromagnetic field of three focused laser pulses can polarize the virtual electron-positron pairs of a vacuum, causing photons to bounce off each other like billiard balls — generating a fourth laser beam in a ‘light from darkness’ process. (News Staff 2025)

Let me explain; space seems empty, but it is not. Light pulses in what seems to be empty. Space is dynamic with photons (light particles) acting like they are hard pool balls. The result is a “light from darkness process.” Have you heard that before now? “God said, “Let there be light: and there was light, and God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness” (Gen 1:3-4). God was simplifying the science.

Light is therefore “The Theory of Everything” from a theological standpoint. Note that the News Staff (above) reported that light came from darkness, but darkness from a scientific standpoint is still unseen light.

The First Cause is God. He is the Cause of Everything, and the evidence of that is Light. That God is Light explains The First Cause. Somehow John the Revelator knew that God is Light and in Him is no darkness at all. Based on recent findings, although God cannot be seen; He is still real. Light must have a source, to be scientific.

Since it has been found that darkness is not the absence of light, but the inability to detect light by natural means, it is true that there is no darkness at all. With special filters greater light can be seen which had never not been seen before. The results from the James Watt Space Telescope (JWST) in 2021 lit up space and revealed a vibrant heaven, using infrared filtration. In space, there is no darkness at all.

Light is diffused throughout space like a cloud in a vacuum. When stopped, the cloud appears as either a particle or a wave. The photons within the vacuum could not be seen until scientists stopped the objects in space with digital camera film. Stop them again, and what they saw were lasers — Waves of light.

Light is a unified field. That is revealed when they hit a barrier and stopped. Light when stopped, photographically imprints light on a sort of film. What seems to be chaotiv, when stopped, reveals a “light field” wherein light is divided from light in amplitude and frequency, revealing a pattern of darkness with light on either side.

Hence, a “Great Intelligence” divided the light from the darkness just as scripture says. Light waves reveal intelligent design by the ability to see both light and darkness divided in real time. As it turns out, darkness is not the absence of light but light at higher frequencies. For instance, gamma rays cannot be seen by the naked eye, but they are seen by their ability (shorter wavelengths) to pass through soft tissue and stop at either hotter tissue or bones. Light is still light whether it can be seen or not.

Gamma rays are light rays (waves of light). Their amplitude is so short that they appear to be rays not waves. The evidence of gamma rays is that they light up dark film. Hence, they follow the “Pauline theory:”

The invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made (Rom 1:20)

Paul was speaking of the creation when firm things came from light. It was reported two or three weeks ago that science has finally made hard things from light: 

For the first time, researchers transformed light into a quantum crystalline structure to create a "supersolid" that's both solid and liquid at the same time. Here’s what that means, and why it's such a big step forward. (Pine 2025) 

Scientists have now created things. As the so-called “Serpent” warned, with the full body of knowledge from the tree of that name, men have now become the gods (Gen 3:5). That diminishes the Creator who was first to do that.

How is it known that God is real? Light did not come from itself but from darkness. In other words, light was always there. That gives new meaning to scripture, “For with You is the fountain of life; in Your Light shall we see light” (Psalm 36:9). Light was always there in the darkness, but the darkness was not what it seemed to be. Light was comprehended not (John 1:5); it could not be understood. Now we should understand!

Light came from darkness, hence light always existed. Indeed, just as Michio Kaku admits, “In the Creation time did not exist,” since light was always there hidden in darkness. God dividing the light from the darkness was revealing the Light of God that always existed.

Even in empty space, there was always light. God revealed it first as Power then as firm things.

Because light waves can be measured by the metrics of amplitude and frequency means that a Great Intelligence does exist. Order cannot come from disorder, or chaos, unless there is a cause. Since God is Light, then God is the Almighty Evidence that some Thing did come from another Thing — an obvious “Holy Thing.”

Gabriel, the archangel, said to Mary, “The Holy Ghost shall come upon you, and the Power of the Highest shall overshadow you: therefore also that ‘Holy Thing’ which shall be born of you shall be called the ‘Son of God’” (Luke 1:35).

Jesus — the Son of God — is the “Holy Thing.” Light from God as a shadow (unseen light) came onto Mary and Power entered her. Within the “laboratory vessel” of Mary, the Great Tekton (Yahweh) made a firm Holy Thing from Light. Jesus was not created but was the Light of God onto which God revealed flesh to make Him seen. In other words, Jesus is the revealed Light of God and in Him is no darkness at all.

Mary, in a sense, corresponds to Plato’s Allegory of the Cave with her womb as the dark cave. (You think about that after studying the allegory.)

With that said, Mary was not the “mother of God” but the “ark” that transported Him from the unseen realm. “In Him was life; and the life was the light of men” (John 1:4).  

Imagine this: Father God planted His seed in Jesus. As with all seeds that are in the ground, light makes them grow. Somehow, mysteriously, light beacons seeds to sprout and raise up from the ground. Even babies seek light at gestation.

Mary was the “ground” since she was of Adam’s kind — innocent, having no guile in her, she was pure admanah.   

As I wrote in my book, A Star is Born, the substances of the Godhead converged in her womb, and the “Head” of the Godhead was delivered. The “Last Adam” Jesus grew and then the Light of God overshadowed Him again and made Him whole, emanating Light and Power to the Son.

Let’s say that Jesus was born the son of Eve via Mary, hence the genealogies of Mary that were XX-chromosomal. Then at His baptism, the empty paternal chromosomes were imbued by the divine chromosomes of the Father, making Jesus entirely God, the Son of God, and the Son of Man. If true, God seeded Jesus at His conception, and when the seed grew to maturity, His phantom Image essentially walked right into the flesh and bones of Jesus. As it turned out: 

He was not that Light but was sent to bear witness of that Light that was the true Light, which lights every man that comes into the world. (John 1:8-9) 

The body of Jesus bore God (martyreo in the Greek). The body of Jesus revealed God. It may have been that since Jesus was not created (John 1:1-14), then the divine body of God was revealed to mankind. The person, Jesus, was there all the time but remained unseen. Mary did not birth Jesus in the manner of a woman but revealed Him to mankind.

The proof of that comes from Jesus: When someone mentioned the mother of Jesus, He responded, “Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?” (Mat 12:48). He wasn’t stupid; He was without mother and brothers! However, He knew His Father, or the source of His genetics. (John 1).

John and Mark gave the truest genealogy of Jesus. He is the Son of God, or the very Image of God within His body. The flesh of Jesus was to merely shadow the Glory of God within; to dim the Light of God so that He could be seen rather than the brightness of His Light.

Moses while on the mountain saw the Light of God and his flesh was imbued with it. He shined brightly with the Glory of God: 

When Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh him. And till Moses had done speaking with them, he put a vail on his face. And the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses' face shone: and Moses put the vail upon his face again, until he went in to speak with Him. (Exod 34:30, 33, 35) 

The vail was a masve (Hebrew) — a cover for the face. While the material remains unknown, based on their isolation, a vail made from the flesh of an animal is plausible. Whether or not the material was of an animal or not is insignificant but just as the veil of the Temple was a massive four inches thick, the vail would have been very thick for it had the same purpose — to reveal the intense Light of God in both cases. (Perhaps masve implies its massiveness like the veil of the Temple.)

In both cases: the veil of the temple and the vail of Moses, each represented the flesh of Jesus. As Jesus was pierced, so was the veil of the Temple: “Behold, the veil of the Temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent…” (Mat 27:51).

 Just as the “Godhead” was torn asunder with the crucifixion, so was the curtain of the Temple, and in both cases, the Light of God was revealed.  The covering to conceal the Light of God in both cases represented the flesh of Jesus. Jesus was of “The House of God” signified by the Hebrew letter Bet that contained the Power of God, the letter, Aleph.

Jesus is the “House” or “Covering” of God, and whatever covering, it concealed the Light of God.

The Light of God was revealed at the crucifixion when in the darkness the Holy Ghost was revealed. That it was dark until the ninth hour (during the day) upon the ninth hour Jesus died and the Holy Ghost left Him as the Flesh of Jesus was rent. Implied is that when the Holy Ghost left, and the Light of God was emitted as the flesh of Jesus was opened.

Jesus proved who He admitted that He was; God in the flesh of a Man. The witnesses to the crucifixion saw Jesus, the Holy Ghost, and the Light of the Divine Father (The Substances of the Godhead) all at the same time. The crucifixion revealed that God had always been with them but was not seen until He appeared as a divine man, So, it goes about Jesus:

In Him was life; and the life was the Light of men. (John 1:4)

That recalls the creation, man (Adam) had life imbued within him. Jesus was that Light, and perhaps Adam before sin, saw Jesus because his nature was “bright,” according to sacred literature. In The Book of Adam and Eve, both Adam’s — the male and the female — could see things they could not see after sin. Their vision had dimmed.

As John wrote, Jesus created, and Adam was imbued with the Light of God from the Person, Jesus… “So it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening Spirit” (1 Cor 15:45).

Jesus emanated Light to provide life because He was the “quickening” (life-giving) Spirit of God. He was the “Aleph” (El) who had a covering that could be seen before sin.

Recall what light does. It calls life to come from a lifeless seed. Jesus was there at the creation and the “seed” was the potential Adam. 

God said, “Let there be light: and there was light.” (Gen 1:3) 

According to John, “The Word” (Jesus) said that. King David knew that as he said: 

The LORD is my light and my salvation (Psalm 27:1) 

His “salvation” meant Jesus; “Ya Saves.”

With Jesus in another realm, the Light of God remains in this realm — as “The Holy Ghost.” The Holy Ghost is still as much Jesus as the man, Jesus. Jesus is still “God With Us” but no longer can His flesh be seen until Jesus is revealed again in Person at the rapture.

It is important to understand that God is Jesus, God is the Holy Ghost, and God is the Power in Spirit and since sin, it is us who are blinded. We can see Jesus in only one substance at a time because of sin. Some cannot even see God at all; they are so blind.

When prayers are answered (the Power of God) right there with you is Jesus in bodily shape that cannot be seen. Paul saw Jesus after He was even gone and in glorious flesh.

I believe “the Glory of God” is God revealing Himself in all three substances at once. That was what He did on the cross (John 7L39), proving that indeed He is the “Son of God.”

Think not the biological “son” but the very essence of God in the flesh of a divine Man. That essence is Light revealed as Jesus as “The Chromosomal God.”

Adam was made in the Image of God. He was not ashamed of his nakedness. He was surely “naked” in the sense that both his flesh and soul were visible. His flesh may have been transparent (glorious) allowing his innermost being to be seen, and he was not ashamed because it had not been stained with sin. The Light of God would have shined through his transparent flesh and Adam would have been much like an angel that in the world, can be seen as men. According to Paul, “Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares” (Heb 13:2).

Angels perhaps do not put on flesh (morph) but have flesh while in this realm. Not that they put on flesh, but that angels can appear as mankind while in this realm.

Adam, before sin, imbued the Light of God and then he shared it with the woman to make her an “Adam” as well. Adam “multiplied” as commanded, but not carnally. He shared the Light of God. As Christians, we too are to be Adam-like: 

If we walk in the Light, as He is in the Light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. (1 John 1:7) 

In theology, as in most religions, the First Cause is Light. The problem is that other religions never see Jesus in the Light because they have not been “born again” (John 3:7).

Rebirth is not putting on either a new soul or new flesh but seeing things more succinctly — the ability to see Jesus as God.

The thief on the cross beside Jesus saw that plainly, and that day he was in Paradise with Jesus; not the Person Jesus but the Holy Ghost of the man. The sinner had been born again because even before Jesus was disassembled, he saw Jesus as both the Light and Spirit of God.

Likewise, in science, Light is the “First Cause.” That is truth. A cloud of Light, when stopped, can be seen either as a particle or a wave, but not both. They all are all three the same substances in different forms in a very theological manner. All three states of Light are never seen at once. With that said, science is blind to the Quantum of Light as the lost are blind to the three substances of God as one Existence.

Rebirth is scientific; it is not a new substance at all but a new nature that allows the person to see God in either Jesus or the Holy Ghost. Rebirth is how mankind sees things differently and with more precision than before. That is “truth.”

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

SOME AMONG US ARE WRONG

Denominations came about because people are wrong about what the Bible says. There were two doctrines in the apostolic age: True Christianity (Orthodoxy) and Gnosticism (Secret Knowledge that only a few knew.) Even as Jesus ascended, deception descended. However, as deception availed, Christianity prevailed; Gnosticism seemed to have died out but more so it just went underground for awhile.

Denominationalism is basically a “child” of Gnosticism.

Denominationalism is like money; it has many different values for different people. Christianity was the whole, but it was changed and became short-changed.

Gnosticism was based on knowledge and that only some had a secret that was their truth. “Diverse groups emphasized personal spiritual knowledge (gnosis) above the proto-orthodox teachings, traditions, and authority of religious institutions” (Wikipedia).

Proto-orthodox is significant. “Proto” is the first orthodoxy right from The Word of God. What Jesus said, and what He inspired the writers to write, was proto-orthodoxy. The Church was founded on the orthodoxy (truth) of Jesus.

The first hint of denominationalism came with Simon the Sorcerer. Have you been taught much about that Simon? I have not after all these years. Here is the story of Simon in full: 

But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one: to whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, “This man is the great power of God.”

And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries., but when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.

Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost.

(For as yet He was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)

Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost, and when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money, saying, “Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost,” but Peter said unto him, “Your money perish with you, because you have thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money. You have neither part nor lot in this matter: for your heart is not right in the sight of God. Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you for I perceive that you are in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.”

Then answered Simon, and said, “Pray you to the Lord for me, that none of these things which you have spoken come upon me.” (Acts 8:9-24) 

First off, the M.O. of Simon was to bewitch people into following him. He would somehow astonish them, and of course, Jesus refuted astonishment when He said, “Marvel not; you must be born again” (John 3:7). Astonishment by actions is not the Way to salvation, however rebirth is. Catholics and others seem to misunderstand the concept of rebirth, but Nicodemus did as well. Simon also misunderstood rebirth; thinking that he could pay for it with money,

Because of Simon’s actions, the people highly regarded him. However, he could not outmaneuver the Godhead with the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

Simon was the “magician” but the Holy Ghost did a better performance, and like any magician, Simon wanted to learn from the master; he wanted the secret to this act performed, he thought, by Peter and John. He failed to understand that Peter and John did not own the Power for it belonged only to the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

That the Name, Jesus, was not efficacious had merit. Jesus was just a man, but the Power of Jesus resided in the Holy Ghost. Jesus was just the vessel in whom the Power of God was filled. That Power was the Holy Ghost.

The Body of Jesus was only for two reasons: (1) to manifest the Holy Ghost, and (2) to sacrifice. That had already been done and with Jesus gone, the Holy Ghost was God with us. The Holy Ghost is the Spirit of God in the bodily shape of a man (Luke 3:22) and the Power was not in the flesh, but in the Ghost. Simon thought that Jesus and his apostles had the Power since he saw them lay on hands. What He failed to see was the Holy Ghost was the Power that filled the others.

Simon, with all his knowledge, failed to understand the secret to his failure and their success. It was that the Power resided not in the Person, Jesus, but in God who is still with us in Spirit. That is not to say that Jesus and God are separate but that Jesus is how we see God. Whether we can see Him or not, God is still God.

Apparently, Simon thought that the giving of the Holy Ghost was a good trick, or perhaps he thought it was not even a trick but a power that John and Peter had that he didn’t have. They seemed to outperform Simon, and he wanted the glory of God for himself and would pay for it.

Within that passage hides two baptisms: Simon was baptized with water, but he saw others baptized with the Holy Ghost. Perhaps he wanted what they had. Water had not regenerated him but “Living Waters” from the Holy Ghost had regenerated the others. Water was no big deal for him; anybody could get immersed, but he was seeing others who were filled with  “Living Water.” He wanted that secret knowledge, and at that moment, a denomination came into existence.

Simon, or so he thought, had found secret knowledge, and voila, Gnosticism raised its ugly head as God was short-changed into his denomination. As it turned out, Simon thought that the Power must have been in the water because he had been immersed. The truth was that he only got wet. The denomination of Simon lives on to this day among some who even deny that they are a denomination. They alone think that they have the secret knowledge of Simon, so Simonism lives even now in restored “Christianity.”

Simon seemed to have changed: “Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized…” indicating that he believed in what he had seen and thought it was the water that regenerated. As such, Simon probably thought that he had been regenerated, so much so, that soon, according to other sources, Simon came to think his version was the truth to the point that he believed that Christ was in himself.

(Simon Magus soon claimed to be Christ and was said to perform miracles and even levitate.)

 In other words, the water did change Simon, but he was not filled with the Holy Ghost. If anything, Simon was filled with Satan by claiming wrongly that he was the missing Jesus. Because of his claim, Simon was one of the successive Antichrists that appeared after Jesus ascended.

Simon was the “father” of Gnosticism. He must have misunderstood the Power of God, thinking that he had been regenerated by the water. Or since he was humiliated, he assumed the power was from him. He created a new type of Christianity without the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

Jesus said that we could deny Him but not the Holy Ghost: “Whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemes against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven” (Luke 12:10).

Simon was baptized in water in the Name “Jesus” and considered that enough. However, the others were baptized in the Holy Ghost. Simon, by accepting the former, denied the latter. Simon blasphemed the Holy Ghost by denying Him the Power.

One “denomination” of Gnosticism is Docetism; “rejection of the belief that Jesus, as a divine being, could actually suffer or die” (AI Overview). With that said, Jesus, to them, was not crucified but only appeared to be. In other words, Jesus did not reveal the Holy Ghost in Himself.

Some Gnostics believe that it was Simon that was crucified and of course arose, and it seemed that Simon must have thought his abandonment was the crucifixion.

Islam is a denomination of Judeo-Christianity. Their “Jesus” was not a man, but only a “Ghost” that was crucified. Baptism in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost validates that the Godhead in all three substances suffered death.

Yes, Jesus was on the Cross because he appeared as a man. What most do not see is that the Holy Ghost was nailed with the Body of Jesus and was made free. The Power to overcome the world by dividing the Godhead belonged to the Father. It was not just a man nor an apparition that was crucified but God Himself who appeared on Calvary as Power, a Man, and His Ghost.

Simon believed in Jesus but not the Holy Ghost He also thought that the Power of God was in the magical hands of Peter and John, thus diminishing God. With that apostasy, the first denomination was created, and although it seemed dead by the church fathers, it is still alive today.

Some people are “saved” without ever enduring to the end like Jesus had to do. Others skip the rebirth, but account the water for that feat.

Just who got it right? Jesus… it is His Way or no way. Speaking of Jesus, it is written, “Neither is there salvation in any other for there is none other Name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).

Simon first thought that rebirth was by the hands of Peter and John, but when they rejected him, he assumed that power himself. He was the epitome of the Antichrist, and so is water. Water did not save Noah and his family; God did, but too often the water gets the credit.

So, although Simon seemed to us to have went his way, his denomination still lives on in the modern church. Gnosticism is alive and well and for many seems the way.

After Simon disappeared from scripture his evil-spirit lived on. I believe plaguing Paul and the others in Christ. Paul may have written about Simon: 

Lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. (2 Cor 12:7) 

Simon exalted himself and Paul saw that as more of a curse than an asset. His thorn was not poor vison, bad health, or even sin; his “thorn” was surely Magus who journeyed like Paul, spreading the wrong news. It was Simon that was the messenger of Satan, and it was him that created a denomination as large as early Christianity.

Mega-churches often cherish the money more so than the rescue of souls from eternal death. Simon still lives in mega-churches, and now that is filtering down to small churches that desire to be mega churches.

What was the “Great Commission” that Jesus authorized? Jesus said, “Go you into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15). He was speaking to the apostles but now as members of the “royal priesthood” (1 Pet 2:9), we are all apostles.

He said for us to go to them, not them to come to us in a church building! How hard is it to get people to come to church? Nearly impossible. How easy is it to go to them? Given our good health, it is easier to go to them. Paul was sickly but he still went to them until the day he was “crucified.”

SIGNIFICANCE OF DAVID'S NAME

  

David:

 After examining Abram who was changed in the fire of Ur, David became a peculiar person as well, to wit: 

And he (Samuel) sent, and brought him (David) in. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the Lord said, “Arise, anoint him: for this is he.”

Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. So, Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah, but the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord troubled him. (1 Sam 16:12-14) 

The Spirit of the Lord came upon David as Saul gave up the Spirit. (That should be enough to discount eternal security.)

The “liquid” that Samuel with which David was anointed was “semen” in the Hebrew. Before David’s anointing is examined consider the “oil” by examining the Hebrew translated oil. 

שֶׁמֶן shin – men – vav 

The formal shin has its “tittles” as the symbol below reveals: 

 Unknown is what the pictograph of shin represents but its shape is a horizontal line with three vertical lines extending upward. Some suggest it represents teeth but perhaps separation or division is more appropriate.

The pronunciation of shin is genetically important. God divided the Ephraimites because they could not say the word shibboleth; however, an Ephraimite would say sibboleth, and thus be exposed. (Jud 12:6).

Therefore, the letter shin does fit the idea of separation and genetically so.

The anointing “oil” of David may have been olive or some other oil, but it was the medium to separate David from his brothers to distinguish him as belonging to God. That Jesus was the “son of David” was pre-ordained when David was anointed. He would be the progenitor of David, not Saul, nor any other at that time.

The crowns on the left leg points toward kingship, and the anointing oil would do the same.

So, the shin represents God choosing David as a peculiar person in the manner of Abram long before and of Moses and the man, Israel, more recently: “For the Lord has chosen Jacob (renamed Israel) unto Himself, and Israel for His peculiar treasure” (Psalm 13:4). God had done the same with Abram, renaming him “Abraham” as a new person.

Shin is the thread throughout the Bible, and it would be symbolized by oil rather than rubbing semen on David. It, however, represented the very “semen” or “living waters” of God that covered David like the garment of Adam from Genesis 3:17. The oil would be “the shield of faith, wherewith you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked” (Ephes 6:16).

The anointing oil, therefore, points toward David as another in a series of “Adam’s” wherein God separated the so-called “good grain” from the bad.

Not by coincidence, David bought the threshing floor of Araunah where the temple would be built to be the House (Bet) of God until Jesus would be the “House” that God built for Himself.

From the loins of David is Jesus the “son of David.” Jesus was preplanned when David was anointed, and David passed along his special genetics to Jesus through Mary. The anointing oil passed through each generation until Jesus received it in His maternal genetics.

Now for the meaning of the name, David, still “David” in the Hebrew and pronounced daw-veed'. In the Hebrew aleph-bet it looks like this: 

דָּוִד Left to right the Hebrew letters are dalet – vav – dalet 

David’s Hebrew spelling is also a palindrome (meaning “running back”) since it is spelled the same both forwards and backwards. Ironically, DNA has within it a palindrome chain; GAATTC is a palindrome of CTTAAG, indicating, perhaps, that the genetics of David were indeed chosen and peculiar.

David’s palindrome would have taken his bloodline back to Adam who had a dalet in the midst of his name.

The dalet could have pointed back to the “door” to the Tree of Life (Gen 3:24), especially since it ended back with the second dalet in the Book of Revelation.

Scripture points to Jesus as the “door” back to the Tree of Life, and David cracked that door just a bit.

Dalet points toward a tent door. A tent was the abode of one family all of the same progenitor. The tent is a house. David was to become the House of David” genetically, and Jesus of that same house. “House” is used in genetics to specify royal families, so Jesus was indeed the “son of David,” because his maternal genes, as Matthew 1:1 says; He was of both Abraham and David.

The letter vav has great significance as well. The pictograph of vav is a tent peg.

The word vav is used in Exodus to refer to the hooks of the tabernacle court. At the crucifixion of Jesus, “The veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom” (Mark 15:38). The veil would have hung from hooks, or vav’s in the Hebrew.

As the “son of David” with a vav, the Dynamic of Jesus was the vav. The death of Jesus pulled down the curtain of the tabernacle and replaced it so that all could go in, not just the pure chief priest.

The anointing of David surely pointed to the death of Jesus when it was finished (John 19:30). The second dalet in David was completed; the case closed, and the significance of David’s line ended.

No longer would Jesus as the “son of Abraham” and the “son of David” have any significance for with Jesus all could go into the “Temple”— unto Himself.

Jesus was meant to be the House (Bet) of God all along. God never needed any house built for Him because He planned Jesus as the “House of God” to genetically make new creatures in Christ (“born again;” John 3:7).

Jesus was of the genes of the LORD GOD, and David was just a “flap” in a temporary tent of meeting until a real House was built for God.

Names means things, and David’s name was respected all along. The Jews knew that the Messiah was in the midst of David’s tent and that David was the door for the tent to be replaced by a future genetic House.

No longer are endless genealogies of any importance: “Avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the Law; for they are unprofitable and vain” (Tit 3:9). Jesus was the son of David, and that line terminated with Jesus who had no biological children but billions, as many as the sands of the seas, that are his adopted children just as He promised Abraham, the “father” of David.

 

 

THE GODHEAD VERSES THE HOLY TRINITY

 

The saying is not "Jesus and God" but just one, the other, or just plain "Holy Ghost" of Jesus with the power of God. 

What follows is sort of an outline for my Facebook presentation this morning.

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God... 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 1:1,14)

Go you therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: (Mat 28:19) 

⁸ Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. ⁹ For in Him dwells all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. ¹⁰ And you are complete in Him, which is the head of all principality and power… (Col 2:8-10)

 The Godhead is the “state of being God.” That state is the Holy Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. 

The Holy Ghost is what Moses saw and what came down the day of Pentecost. 

Moses asked God, “"Please show me your glory.”

God replied, “I will make all my goodness pass before you and will proclaim before you My Name 'the Lord'.” (Exod 33). 

The Glory of God is His Dynamic — His Goodness pass before the eyes of Moses, but God would not allow Moses to see His Face. His face means that he would not turn around for Moses to see His other side. 

It could be that God was revealing Himself and not the other substance of the Godhead, not the bodily shape, or the material substance of God. 

God’s goodness passing by was His Power or virtue — the “Dynamos” of God in the Greek. 

There we have the Godhead or Holy Trinity: the backside of God (the Holy Ghost), the body of God (the Son) and the Power of God (the “Father;” Yahweh) 

The “Godhead” is God at the head or the Divine Nature in that He is the Creator. (Supra-nature). 

That indicates One True God — the whole of God. 

God was whole at the Creation because the Word Jesus was there as God in the beginning (John 1). 

Jesus pre-existed His flesh. Jesus was there in Name — the Word — but not flesh (Hashem). 

The spoken Word of the Lord was by Abraham, Moses, and the prophets. They were the “mouth” of Jesus, speaking the Word. As such Christ was in them all, not in body but guiding their thoughts and actions. 

The patriarchs were as much like proxies until the Word came in the flesh. They were like loudspeakers of the Words from the Mind of Jesus. 

The One God (Jehovah) has three substances: Power revealed by Light (Light of the world), a Spirit in the bodily shape of a man (Luke 3:22) and Dynamics — the motion like a dove or even a mighty rushing wind, as needs be (Acts 2) 

God was always active in scripture. His activity revealed Power. When God rested, then mankind was on their own in the Garden doing as they pleased without the intervention of God. 

During the 400 years of silence between the Old and New Testaments, mankind was again on their own. 

Then God came in the flesh with no need for prophets. He would speak as God Himself. The Word, Jesus, became flesh and prophecy was fulfilled. 

The Godhead was complete all along. It was revealed in the New Testament; first the Word that had flesh, then beginning in Acts, the Word in Spirit in the bodily shape of a man. 

The Godhead is like a cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night but when the Dynamic stops; He is revealed either as a Ghost or a Man. The Dynamic is that He is both at the same time with the other faculties there but not revealed until at rest. Theologians call that Dynamic “homeostasis” — a stableness between independent substances, hence God is not three persons but one Person, One Spirit, and One Power. 

Upon the death of Jesus, the Spirit in the shape of a man was the Ghost of the dead person of Jesus. 

Envision the Godhead like a tree. 

The Tree of Life is the whole tree. The visual body of the Tree is symbolic of Jesus.

The root of the Tree emanates life to the branch or vine. The root is symbolic of the Father from which the tree itself grows. 

The living water (Holy Spirit) flows from root to the tree and its leaves for the healing of the nations (Rev 22:2). 

Hence, the Tree of Life is either representative of the Godhead or the Godhead itself presented as a Tree of Life for our understanding. 

The Tree of Life, the Godhead, and the Holy Trinity are three devices to describe the fullness of God; Him “made whole.” 

“Made whole’ in the Bible is when sinners, lacking the Spirit of God, receive God in Power and in Spirit and are made whole. 

Think not of “Father” as biological but genetic. The “Father” is the root of the Tree whose genes are in the Person of Jesus, and the “Son” is the product of those genes; the growth (vine) from the root. 

In other words, Yahweh is in every nuclear cell of Jesus. Jesus carries the DNA of Yahweh. Remove the flesh and the DNA remains. The DNA is the Identity of God called “selem” in the Hebrew which is the phantom Presence of God. 

As Plato would say, The shadow or phantom of God is a fragment of God that is just as real as the physical substance of God. Jesus sits at the right hand power of God, not beside the Father but within Him. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

WHAT THE CHURCH IS NOT

Last time the commentary was on what the Church is. It is the assembling together in the Presence of God from before time to the end of days and beyond. It is the congregation of those with those in Christ since Adam and beyond time when the souls of mankind will kneel before God on His Throne.

The Church is the foyer to the throne where Jesus sits on the throne of God. 

⁴ To whom coming (Jesus), as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, ⁵ You also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. ⁶ Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, “Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded” (1 Pet 4:2-6) 

The Church is a spiritual house, and the house is made up of holy priests — those who have sacrificed their own flesh for the preservation of their souls.

In other words, you are the Church if you are Christians. The invisible, universal Church is built upon Christ with the souls of men and women who trust God so much that they share the essence of Yahweh in the same manner as Jesus.

You cannot see the Church, but it is where Christians gather. The Church is anywhere under the celestial dome because that is the true house of God who, as He said, did not want a house of wood, brick, or stone; but a spiritual house, to wit: The Lord of hosts is the God over Israel: and let the house of your servant David be established before you,” he told David himself.

The “House of David” was not the house (temple) that David’s son, Solomon built, but the spiritual “house” that God founded as one of the prophets that he proved in writing so many psalms.

Just as the English kingdoms were of the “House of the Stewarts” and Rome was the “House of Caesar,” the Church is the “House of David” for he was a man after God’s own heart, or the will of God (1Sam 13:14).

David did build a House for God — a spiritual house, even a genetic house. Solomon, however, built for God a material house when he built the Temple. Whose house still stands? The House of David or the House that Solomon built? It is the former that still stands.

Witnesses came against Christ; one said about Jesus, “This fellow said, ‘I am able to destroy the Temple of God, and to build it in three days’” (Mat 26:61), and Jesus did that; he died thus perishing the ancient Church and built back better using Himself as the foundation.

The walls of Solomon’s construction kept falling down, and in the end, Jesus resurrected the walls of the Temple using Christians as the living stones. It is the souls of Christians that are the supports for the Church that God built for Himself. 

Him that overcomes will I make a pillar in the Temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the Name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. (Rev 3:12)

The Church is a building in progress and when it is finished, then it will be the entire House of God. That happens in the last days, so the Church should be growing to this day, but God is not after faulty stones, but true stones: 

We have such an high priest (Jesus), who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; a minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man. (Heb 8:1-2)

 Remember that a few paragraphs ago it was written that Solomon did not build the house for God. The “building” started with David not Solomon. It was the royal House of David that is the Church, and it was not built by David, but by God Himself. Paul verified my theses.

Why was Jesus called, “the son of David”? He was of the House of David. Why the genealogy in the gospels? To show that Jesus was the heir apparent to the House of David. He was legitimately king of the Jews and the Church is the Palace of God with His subjects the Palace structure.

Jesus, as the Stone on which the Church was built, built the “true Tabernacle” — the true Temple of God. The Church is the one Temple that will never perish because it is not made of materials.

Isaiah foresaw the future when he wrote, “The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycamores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars” (Isa 9:10).

The meaning of that may not be obvious. It needs to be examined for its literal meaning.

Where translated “bricks” it is literally whiteness. It could be white bricks, stones, or white-washed clay. Whichever is correct, it is the structure of the Temples; and the walls of the Temple have fallen now three times!

“We” in that passage is not in the original Hebrew. We could be God’s people or it could even be God Himself. It could be that the “we” are the hewn stones themselves in accordance with the “lively stones” of the New Testament.

The Jews were good, but Christians are better. The Jews built the Temple but Christians the spiritual Church.

“Hewn stones” are literally just some thing that is cut, not specifically dressed stone. The Church is “cut” from people who are dressed for the marriage supper wherein Jesus is the groom and the Church the bride. David envisioned the building of God’s House when he wrote the psalm: 

¹ The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handywork… ⁴ Their line is gone out through all the Earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them has He set a tabernacle for the sun, ⁵ which is as a bridegroom coming out of His chamber, and rejoices as a strong man to run a race. (Psalm 19:1, 4-5) 

The “hewn stone” is the handiwork of God. It is the “firmament” — the “pebbles” that make up the celestial sphere — the dome in the skies. Hence, the ceiling of the Church is not a roof at all, but the heaven that God “cut,” as the word “created” means literally (Gen 1:1).

Indeed, that is again what the Church is, but it implies what the Church is not.

Church is a free range gathering under the stars. The Church is not a building of stone hewn by the hands of men.

When people ask, “Where do you go to church?” they mean what church building and its location.

Each morning, I awaken and am in Church. Church is when I commune with God. It may be in my recliner or outside standing because the House of God is under the stars. Wherever I go I can be in Church. What I am missing is the two or three that are gathered in His Name, Jesus.

I go places to assemble with others of the same faith. But when I go to assemble, I miss those who are not assembled, so Jesus commissioned us all to be priests of God in a royal priesthood who should show forth praises (1 Pet 2:9), not to ourselves, but according to the Great Commission, “Go you into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15).

Jesus did not commission us to go to Church but to go ourselves and take the Church to everyone else. Sure, inviting someone to church is not bad, but going to them to love them is the better way; that is what Jesus did, was it not?

The church has faults. It is as if it is not on solid ground nut ready to quake as it did when Jesus was crucified: 

⁵⁰ Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. ⁵¹  And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; ⁵² and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose… (Mat 27:50-52) 

The Temple was not destroyed by the Romans in 70 A.D.; it began to fall when Jesus gave up the Holy Ghost.

The falling began with the veil that kept the people away from God. Jesus paved the Way when He released the Power of the Holy Ghost. Isaiah was right. The bricks must fall down but the curtain fell long before the bricks. The Holy Quake that God emanated first toppled the curtain that had blinded the people from the real countenance of God.

The saints of old were the “lively stones” and the foundation of the invisible church, just as Paul wrote, “The household of God; (is) built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone…” (Epes 2:19-20). The saints of old, perhaps John the Baptist and even Adam, were raised from the rubble to build the new Church from the foundation upwards! [1]

Things must be torn down to build back better. Better is goodness and truth. Better is going to others to share the gospel, rather than making them come to God by going to Church! It is not that going to Church is bad, but going to God is better. God has no faults, but the church has many faults, both in the building and in the people.

We all look for a perfect church; do we not? So long as I am in the building, the church has faults, even the spiritual Church. Therefore, the True Church corrects our faults to make the lively stones as true to Christ as possible. So long as you are in the House of God; it has its faults.

The Old Testament Church, both Tabernacle and Temple worship, kept people away from God. Only the priests could sacrifice for the sins of the people. Now, each is their own priest and the only sacrifice we need make is ourselves: Paul wrote, “Brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service” (Rom 12:1). That is what priests did; now if you are a Christian; you are a priest. Nobody can do it for you; you must do so yourselves. Who does that anymore? We feel as if we need the preacher to sacrifice us to God.

Preachers make much ado about being called to preach. We are all called to preach as royal priests, and it is all our jobs to present the gospel. Why do we continue to depend on preachers to do spiritual work for us, when we Christians are commissioned to do so ourselves?

As can be seen with the fall of so many mega-churches, they begin to fall with arrogant and sinful preachers. Mega-churches fall quickly when their pastors are exposed as hypocrites.

Smaller churches fall when they try to be like mega-churches. Building larger more contemporary buildings may attract the worldly, but they are a source of failures. They are not houses of God, but buildings built by men under the pretext of being houses for God. What are contemporary churches for? To attract the world to make sinners come there to find God.

(We should be building missions rather than buildings!)

And what do they find at church? Entertainers and entertainment; that is what is in the modern houses of God; the same things found in the homes of the people.

The Pharisees found that they were not good stewards of God’s money; they paid Judas 30 pieces of silver to bring down the Church by bringing down its Cornerstone — Jesus. With Jesus dead, they expected the opposing Church to fall, but as Jesus fell, the Temple was built back better in three days just as Jesus said. It was not built with stones or even cedar and certainly not with Peter who denied Jesus; it was built on the truth that Jesus is God! So, they gave the money back because they had not been good stewards of money.

The Church was meant to be communal and under the umbrella of Jesus to go the Way of Jesus to our own crosses. We were all to be faithful stewards in accord each with the other for the Spirit to come (Acts 2:1).

Now the church is communistic. There is a great difference! Just think about it. The Church is to be Jesus-centered whereas communism is people-centered.

God designed the House of God, even the house that Solomon built. There were no stages nor actors. There was a basin for the washing of hands and a Molten Sea for the priests to wash filth from their fleshes. The house was for the solemn worshipping of God; it was not to please men and satisfy women, but to glorify God.

Of course, God can be glorified in music but if the music is for the pleasure of the crowd; it is just a performance for them. Stereotypically, people like their kind of music. Many listen to head-banging music all week long and Sundays may just be another day of head-banging music. Or it could be the serene New Age genre that people bring to church to be like the world.

Who is to say what is good worship or poor worship, but it condenses to whom the leaders endeavor to please.

The structure of the Church is with Jesus the cornerstone and the people the pillars that support the structure. Ministers are called, not to preach, but to minister.  Likewise, deacons are called not to preach or even teach, but to assist the minister in the same manner that judges were appointed to help Moses judge.

The Church has ceased being a communal sanctuary for the household of God but is now a den for those who steal the glory from God. It is not communal but more so communistic. How so?

The minister often dictates, and the people merely go along with his initiatives. They are loyal to the minister and to not upset the accordance, everyone just goes with the flow.

One church after another has failed because of preachers who build new buildings and institute new types of worship. Like communists, they are trying to make things better for the masses rather than for the ministry.

I know of several churches that have built new buildings with more comfortable seating and Shakespearean stages that still fail because of financial burden.

Pastors seem to measure their successes by the metrics of attendance, tithes and offerings, and even baptisms without regard to true conversions. In the modern church, sinners become Christians simply by walking forward to the altar to speak with the preacher who sacrifice them to the Lord like the priests of old.

We cannot depend on preachers. One preacher twice pushed me away for merely trying to aid him when he was occupied. How dare you do my job for me was the message that I received.

The ministers have often ceased to minister. They mandate and it happens. They tear down to build back better to their own standards, and in some, the bricks literally fall before the church falls.

Then there is the church bureaucracy. They are the chosen few who seem to do everything. The church does not hang on the Law but on them. Church organizations everywhere have the elite few; do the work for the willing many. It must be them that get the attention and credit; little is for the glory of God.

Rather than a congregation, the masses are just bench warmers to be counted for their numbers and contributions. They are the proletariats like in a Soviet who serve, not so much God, but the bureaucracy and the preachers. They never speak up for fear of being ostracized.   

How does the church ostracize? By picking favorites as if it is a horse-race, while the best qualified become the grooms of the preferred “horses.”

The job of the congregation has become clapping for the performances rather than glorifying God.

Churches help discover the hidden gifts within the congregants, then expect most of them to forget their gifts. You may have your gift revealed to you, but then be expected to keep your spiritual gift to yourself.

Rather than a sanctuary from the world, many modern churches have brought the world to them. In many, you can expect to hear the sounds of the world whether it be music or doctrine.

The doctrine of the modern church is cheap grace. For your attendance award, please step forward and the preacher will reward you now for eternal life later. I have even been “saved” three times because walking forward is the one giant leap to eternal life without regard to what I do with myself.

Many repent, not because they are sorry they did it, but because they were caught after doing it. Many mega-church preachers often confess contrition after they are caught, not confess to God but for the sake of those who have admired them.

Maybe I am no better; I have sat quietly even while watching churches falling apart. I have seen three churches fall apart as I sat silently by. I do not desire to see others fall apart!

That big church with the large sound stage and lights… it may be still there, but it has already fallen. There remains the burden of such a building with nobody there to pay for its encumbrance. Building big comfortable buildings are just that — for people to remain comfortable while others do the work and pay the burden.

The buildings may still be there, but the spiritual houses have fallen.

I went church-hunting with my wife one day. What did I find? Big buildings with few people, or small buildings wanting to be bigger. We heard fine sermons with few to hear and even loud music with few hearing the lyrics. We heard preachers declaring what they will do rather than acknowledging how the church has fallen since they came.

Great buildings, even full of people, is not the Church; it is dedicated Christians who are meek but strong spiritually. It is a house of living souls that clap for God but not for the skills of the performers.

A grand building is a symbol for a weak church. The strongest church that I ever attended was geared for the poor in wealth and those poor in spirit. The pastor truly loved everyone, not just a select few and especially not the young pretty girls that cause so many mega-churches to fail before anyone even sees them falling.

Right now, your church may be falling. In fact, according to the Revelation of John, in the end, the organized church falls, leaving behind only the spiritual Church that so many do not know even exists.

You may see it falling even if the bricks are not falling. You do not need the building, but you still need the House of God!

I do not mean to be mean, but just report on what I see. I have had fingers pointed at me and understand that the nature of men is to seem perfect. By grace, God does not require perfect “stones” to build His House, because He can take a rough stone and hew it to fit its place among the other hewn stones. All we are to do is to submit ourselves to be hewn!

WHAT THE CHURCH IS

 When approaching a new-found acquaintance, a Christians often asks, “Do you go to church?” or even “Do you have a church?”

That comes across as if you attend church, then you must be a Christian. Church is a place where Christians assemble.

The Israelites — the children of God — assembled: “The whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled together at Shiloh and set up the tabernacle of the congregation there. And the land was subdued before them” (Josh 8:1).

The “Church” (capitalized) had moved from sin in Egypt to Mount Sinai where they still sinned as they assembled. The Church was dynamic, following the Dynamics of God who appeared to them in a cloud by day and a fire by night (Exod 13:21). God was with them during the Exodus from Pharoah and Egypt that represent Satan and sin, respectively.

They Church are those who endeavor to abandon Satan and move away from sin.

Note that they were the Church — the people. The building was not a building; it was a tabernacle, or tent of meeting, just as God met with Noah, “The Lord appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he (Noah) sat in the tent door in the heat of the day” (Gen 18:1).

Noah had “Church with God” when the Lord appeared to him. When the Lord appears, that is His manifestation as Jesus in phantom. Noah saw the Image of Jesus in a very different substance than how we see Him!

Meeting with the Lord is having “Church;” it is “where two or three are gathered together in My Name, there Am I in the midst of them” (Mat 18:20). There would have been Noah and his wife in his tent. God had gone with Noah in the Ark to his tent on Mount Judah in the Taurus Mountains. He was a traveling God who was with Noah ever since Noah had found grace 120 years before (Gen 6:8).

Adam and his mate also had Church with God. Not by coincidence, tabernacle (tent) worship was similar to worship in the Garden of Eden. The Tree in the midst of the Garden was the Tabernacle and the trees beneath where Adam and the woman dwelled beneath the canopies of trees that were their “tents.”

The Tent of Meeting was the early Church after Moses was ordained by God to lead the assembly of the Israelites. Examine the figure closely; tabernacle worship was much like trees with their canopies, and  in their midst was a large Canopy, in the same manner as the trees in the Edenic worship.

In each place there was an assembly with God present. Adam and the woman met with God to have communion with Him, to wit:

¹⁵ The Lord God took the man, and put him into the Garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. ¹⁶ And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat, ¹⁷ but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat of it: for in the day that you eat thereof you shall surely die” (Gen 2:15-17) 

They were to commune with God and eat of His twelve fruits. Rather, they assembled beneath the Tree of Knowledge and ate its fruit. They had Church under the wrong tree and ingested the wrong knowledge. They communed with the wrong god, Lucifer who contended with God. Their ate unworthily, just as in wrong communion in the modern Church.

Adam and the woman went to Church to be in the presence of God and indeed only two were assembled with Him, thus making the “Church.”

Like those two who were coupled with God (entangled with God and each other), the three together made the Church because they were married and each one were the Image of God. — each had God in them.

Even in New Testament times, marriage is likened unto the Church with Jesus, the “groom,” and the Church, the “bride” (Mat 25).

Therefore, the “Church” is the bride of Jesus because it should be built in the Image of God like Christ is the Image of Him.

Marriage, or better said, “Holy Matrimony,” is having Church if God is in the midst of the two.

However, the first mention of the Church in the entire Bible is when Jesus was speaking to Peter: “That you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My Church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Mat 16:18).

Jesus, not Peter, is the “Rock” (Mat 21:42 — the “Stone.”). Peter is “lithos;” he is one of the many pebbles, not a rock. The Church was built on Jesus and the evidence of that came from Stephen in his soliloquy: 

³⁰ There appeared to him (Moses) in the wilderness of mount Sina an Angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush.

³¹ When Moses saw it, he wondered at the sight: and as he drew near to behold it, the Voice of the Lord came unto him, ³² Saying, “I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” Then Moses trembled, and durst not behold.

³³ Then said the Lord to him, “Put off your shoes from your feet: for the place where you stand is holy ground…” 

³⁷ This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, “A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; Him shall you hear.”

³⁸ This is He, that was in the church in the wilderness with the Angel which spoke to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us…” (Acts 7:30-33,37-38)

 

Moses, like Adam and Noah, as well as Abraham, had Church.

Moses met with The Angel of God on Mount Sinai with all the Israelites assembled at the base of the mountain. Thereon stood Moses in the middle of the mountain with the “Tree of Life” burning before him. There were no tents, no buildings, and no music. “Church” was Moses with God with the assembly beneath them both.

The Prophet, Jesus, would be like Moses, “like unto me,” as Moses said. There on Mount Sinai was the antitype of Jesus and the Burning Bush who as it turned out would later reveal Himself as the backside of God.

The “burning” represents action. Moses represented the Image of God as the Light of God was reflected onto him, God was Invisible (a Phantom Presence), and the fire His Dynamic in action. The meeting on the mountain symbolized the Godhead and those assembled below them, the Church, according to Stephen.

With that background, the Church was created for Adam and Eve, and it was created “very good,” even glorious since it was founded on the Image of God — the Rock of Salvation. Speaking of Jesus, the psalmist wrote, “He shall cry unto me, ‘You are my Father, my God, and the Rock of my salvation.” (Psalm 89:26).

The Father is the “Rock of Salvation” as the name Jesus exemplifies… “Ya(hweh) saves.” Jesus is the “Rock” — the firm Thing — that is God. When scripture says “rock,” it implies real estate or physical images.

Wherever Moses went, there was God with him and his people. Hence, since Jesus is “Immanuel” — “God With Us,” then pre-incarnate Jesus was with him as the “Word” (John 1:1-14).

When Yahweh spoke to Jesus from the burning bush, the Voice that he heard was the Dynamic “Word” that would manifest itself in the person of God, Jesus.

Moses had God with him. He was not God but had the authority of God. What God told Moses became the Law and Moses even carried the Law in his hands; then he placed them in the Ark of the Covenant where God met with them to have Church. The Law on the tablets of stone were the “Rock” of God, Jesus. The Law was the cornerstone of the ancient Church as well as the material Image of God.

Jesus came to fulfill the Law. Jesus said about the Law, “I Am not come to destroy, but to fulfil (the Law)” (Mat 5:17). The Law became Jesus, the “Rock.”

The Light, or Dynamic, of God sat on the Mercy Seat of the Ark and Jesus was the Law within the Ark. The Godhead was revealed in the Tent of Meeting with the Light of God atop the Ark, that when stopped, revealed the Phantom of God with the Image of God within the Ark.

The Church is when God stops to reveal Himself as the Godhead, or Holy Trinity.

You must believe in the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost; the latter the Dynamic of God to be part of the Living Church.

As written herein, the “Church” pre-existed time, and in the end, “the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” for it is an eternal Institution whose Covenant is written on Stone by the Finger of God (Jesus) for eternity.

So, what is Holy Matrimony so significant in the Law? It too began before time existed in the Garden and is meant to be eternal. [1]

Now for some fact-checking about the Church; Paul wrote about the it: 

¹⁹ Now therefore you are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; ²⁰ and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner stone; ²¹ In whom all the building fitly framed together grows unto an holy temple in the Lord… (Ephes 2:19-21) 

Who built the foundation of the Church? The apostles and prophets. Not only Peter and the gang of twelve but all those patriarchs who came before them: Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Joshua, and all the priestly prophets. They are the “foundation” of the Church, and it was not built on rock but saints and their fellow travelers in the household of God.

When Moses met God on Mount Sinai, that was the foundation of the Church. There was no building or even a tent. It was Moses under the celestial dome in the Presence of the Godhead with his people assembled beneath them.

The “saints” are those dead in Christ.

Moses died. He was in Christ because his face glowed with the evidence of it. He was acting as God and for God in the manner of Jesus. He was carrying “Jesus” with him as the Law which, according to Jesus, hangs on the Law of Love.

Jesus is Love! It is His “Virtue,” or Dynamic as it was with Yahweh in ancient times.

Note that the foundation of the Church were “saints.” The Church was built long before Peter and was built on Moses and even Adam. The faith of our fathers is the foundation of the Church and likewise the apostles who had enough faith that they died for the sake of God’s Name, Jesus.

The Church, according to Paul, has nothing to do with any building or any other material construction. It is there but invisible. The Church is the “household of God” or an assembly of those whose family name is “Yahweh” — “The Name” (Ha Shem).

A “household” are the members of the same gen; those who came from the same genetic father. Father God is the household’s — the Church’s — Genome. It was built in the family name “I AM” who Jesus declared is Himself.

Jesus is the Cornerstone of the Church, not some real stone laid by human hands. He is that Rock from which the entire Church has its datum. The Church was built according to the measurements from Jesus Himself.

Jesus, according to John, created all things (John 1:1-3). He laid the foundation of the Church way back in the Garden of Eden. The Church, I repeat, pre-existed time!

Jesus always was. He was the Cornerstone. That Stone was laid before time began: Jesus, speaking to His Father (The Genome, or “Shadow” within Himself), “Father, I will that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I Am; that they may behold My glory, which You have given Me: for You loved Me before the foundation of the world” (John 17:24).

Before the foundation of the world was before time existed. Everything, even the invisible Church, was built on Jesus before time ever began!

The Church was built on the Glory of Jesus — the Tree of Life — before the foundation of the world. Its “structure” represented the Godhead itself — the firm things in the Garden on which the Church was built. It was not a church of wood nor stone, but the Image of God and “lively stones,” or as Paul wrote to Peter, “You also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ” (1 Pet 2:5).

Thus, the Church is a spiritual house that has no real estate at all, and its purpose is to offer to God the sacrifices of your own souls… souls that are acceptable to Jesus on behalf of the Father.

The “Church” is a “spiritual house.” It is like a building, but of different substances and fabrics.

Christians are the lively stones as measured from Jesus the Cornerstone. All the “pebbles” that make up the spiritual house must fit together with each other to the datum of Christ. Hence, the “fabric” of the Church is love of God and others.

The Church is the tenets of Jesus as the basis with the Christians themselves the construction. The work of building the Church are the twelve fruits of the Spirit. They make the Church, and they are: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance (Gal 5:22-23) and three more in the Latin Vulgate Version of the Bible to make twelve Church constructs.

They were the fruit of the Tree of Life, which the reader is reminded, was the first spiritual Church.

So far, the subject matter has been about what the Church is and should be. Tomorrow, the commentary will be about what the Church is not.
