WORTH A DOLLAR

   By now all churches are "denominations" with some more nominal than others.

(Yes even Churches of Christ.)

Let's say a divine "Dollar" is the whole; then denominations are less than one Dollar, and each have less value than the original Dollar. The Church of the New Testament would be the original "Dollar" but because of conflation in the mixing of it with the world view; each denomination has less value than the original Dollar.

Some churches, even in apostolic times, did not have a Dollar in value, for instance, all the seven churches of Asia.

By now, most church denominations are not worth fifty cents like the church of Laodicea: "I know your works," God said, "that you are neither hot or cold... So then because you art lukewarm... I will spue you out of My mouth" (Rev 3:13-14).

That identifies the modern Church as well. On the whole, all of the denominations are either putrid and stagnant, or are headed that way.

It is our job, through prayer and acts, to keep our church denomination at full value. With that said, "Test all things and hold onto what is good" (1 Thes 5:21).

I do criticize all denominations, even my own, because I want it to be worth a Dollar.

How much do you value your church doctrine? If it has doctrines other than Christ with Him crucified and resurrected, it falls far short of the original Dollar.

THE SLOW DEATH OF THE CHURCH

Within the body of Christ — the Church — lives different kinds of doctrines; or as Paul wrote it, “We, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another” (Rom 12:5).

Now, think about that for a moment; if each one has, let’s say, a “particle” of Christ in them, together, in one accord (Acts 2:1) they are the “body of Christ”.

The Church is essentially a body made up of members just as the body of a person is made up of its members. If one limb is crippled the Church becomes a cripple.

A healthy Church goes unto the world; “Go you into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15) just as Jesus and the apostles did.

Sickness is no excuse to stay where it is comfortable. Your abode is your comfort zone and as such, your local church is very comfortable for you. Preachers preach mostly to believers, not all truth but whatever they feel comfortable hearing. Now, Church is more about it making the congregants comfortable, and the “Comforter” is often found in the back pew. People go to Church because somehow God calls them. That is not the only way. God calls members of His body to do His calling for Him!

The modern Church is crippled and full of malaise. For the most part, the overall Church body is sickly and weak. Your church organ may be blooming but at the expense of others dying. The heart of the Church is still pumping the virtue of Christ, but Christ Jesus has been drained from the blood of the Church as the data shows:

As of 2023-2024, about 62% of U.S. adults identify as Christian, a figure that has stabilized after years of decline, with 40% Protestant and 19% Catholic, while religiously unaffiliated ("nones") make up 29% of the population, according to Pew Research. (Smith 2025)

Gallup first asked about church membership in 1937, at which point 73% of Americans reported being members of a religious congregation. From the 1940s through the early 1970s, more than 90% of Americans identified with a Christian religion. Before the 1940s, approximately 95% or more of people who were raised Christian were still Christian later in life. (Gallup 2024)

As the importance of the Church body goes down the insignificance increases. If that was even the body of critters heading toward extension, animal lovers would cry out. God lovers remain silent so long as their branch seems to have life in it.

Because the numbers are now increasing, it seems that albeit on its last leg, the Church is struggling to survive. How can life be pumped into a crippled, anemic Church?

To be a Church, the centroid of the Church — the “heart” must have life in it. Jesus Christ is the life of the Church. He is the Centroid of the body of believers; “I AM the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by Me (John 14:6).

To be born again, a body must first die; die to the world to be born of the Spirit. The problem is that the Body of the Church is now pumped up on adrenalin of some sort, not so pumped up on Christ but the artificial organism of the Church; perhaps entertainment and positive thinking.

Just as Moses was not God but called the troopers to be part of a good thing, the same goes for modern churches.

Denominations are based on men: John Calvin, John Wesley, Martin Luther, Menno Simons, Jacob Arminius; not to forget others: Joseph Smith, Herbert Armstong, William Miller, Joseph Campbell, and Charles Taze Russell. Some women even pump up the body of the Church: Mother Ann Lee, Ellen G. White, and many others. Now even Joyce Meyers has put on a new face, even worse than Tammy Faye Baker.

No longer is the Church the body of Christ but wears a very false face. Too many wrong women are the face of the modern Church Body:

Environmental justice is now the blood of the Church, but forgotten is the blood of Christ. Modern theologians have created a new Jesus, one who came physically to save the world, but not the people of the world. Environmentalism is a leading religion in these last days.

Social justice seems the way, but it is not. Recall now, the rich young man that sought heaven?

 

And behold, one came and said unto (Jesus), “Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?”

And (Jesus) said unto him, “Why call you Me good? There is none good but One, that is, God: but if you will enter into life, keep the commandments.”

He said unto him, “Which?”

Jesus said, you shall do no murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not bear false witness, honor your father and your mother and, you shall love your neighbor as yourself.

The young man saith unto him, “All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?”

Jesus said unto him, “If you will be perfect, go and sell that you have, and give to the poor, and thou shall have treasure in heaven, and come and follow Me” (Mat 19:16-21)

 

That young man was possessed by possessions (Mat 19:22). He had done all the good things that Christians were supposed to do, but he was lacking one thing — he would not give His possessions to follow Jesus. He was socially just but not faithful to Jesus. That rich young man was the face of social justice. Although he did not follow Jesus to become a member of the Church body, many modern era people follow both social justice and Jesus Christ. How can they do that? Being double-minded, they have created a new version of Christ!

The modern-era Christ is like a good dad that rowdy children step on, humiliate, and even deny is their real father. Indeed, the father of even many who call themselves “Christian” is the Devil (John 8:44). The father of that rich youngster would have been the Devil because it was another master whom he followed.

Now some things about the Devil. He is cunning (Gen 3:1) and a con artist. Con artists most often use the bait and switch method. Look at these good things, and then when the person is sold on good things, all the cunning salesman is to sell imitations of the real things.

The so-called “Serpent” was selling the idea that it was it was the “God”, but it was only god-like in its presentation. (Now forget the notion that the Serpent was a serpent, but just a cunning being whose countenance was like the Light of God, a false bringer of light, “Lucifer”.

The Serpent was selling godlikeness, but all the while, it was bestiality from the bosom of the  “Beast”.

In the same manner, modern preachers are as cunning; so many selling “software” as “hardware” for instance.

The hardware, or “boiler plate” of the Bible is that one must believe that Jesus is God in the flesh, as the crucifixion should have revealed to all.

Just a few saw the hardware — God in Jesus, and others the software (some just a man, and others like Mohammed who saw only the phantom existence of a man.)

Most who saw the crucifixion saw only a man, and all too often, modern people see Jesus as only a good man. They have merely been sold on the software version of the real divine Thing!

With Jesus as God, comes both the software and hardware versions of God, and the Acts is then the performance of the software version as good as the hardware.

The modern Church runs more the software version of Christ than the hardware. One is as significant as the other.

One member of the Church (social justice) sells only the hardware version of Christ — the man, Jesus; and another member of the body of Christ sell only he software version — the Holy Ghost, all the while forgetting the man, Jesus. The World Council of Churches sells only the goodness of the man while the apostolic churches mostly the Holy Ghost of the man.

Other members, not liking the real God having three substances, have created many gods each of one substance.

Joel Osteen, like the golden calf of old, has risen to become a god within himself; not called to preach but preaches anyhow. One woman in my acquaintance even said that Osteen saved her! Others sell the same idea, but only Jesus saves.

Jesus is the “salvation of God”. He is Yesua (salvation) called by name, a “jubilee” (50) of times in the Old Testament.

Yeshua is both incarnate God and the pre-incarnate Image of God — “The Angel of God”. The Jews followed both The Angel of God and the Spirit of God, but they refused to follow God’s hardware.

Their God is parts, but the whole God is all three substances of Him. Once they see the whole God, they too will be members of the Body of Christ (Rev 7 & 14).

To be a real member of the Body of Christ requires supra-vision; that Jesus in all three states of God come to the world as One True God.

So many members of the Body of Christ split God into fragments. Most often it is the sincere mention of “Jesus and God” as if they are distinctly different existences. The point therein is that too many in the Church cannot see God as He is but what they imagine Him to be. They see God on His throne and Jesus seated to the right and the Holy Ghost to the left. Not so… all three states of God are the godhead on the throne. That is the real God!

Not only was God torn apart at the crucifixion; that was the real agony of Christ, but His Heart has become weary.

Now, there are many gospels: the social gospel, the doctrinaire gospel, and the universal doctrine. The latter is that you can believe about anything and still go to heaven because mankind is just too important for a good God to punish them.

The social gospel puts works for the oppressed before Jesus, who was most oppressed. Many of them see Jesus as much like the capitalist that gave to the poor, using scripture about the rich young ruler. In their view, Jesus is a communist who was like Robin Hood, taking from some to provide for others without regard to who worked for it.

Jesus was no Robin Hood; He told the rich young ruler to do nothing more than follow Him. Way too many Christians follow their own hearts and not the Heart of Christianity, Jesus Christ.

One of the worst comes in beautiful packages; that the gift of grace comes for free in neat packages and although a beautiful gift, put it can be put away without use. That “software” version is Calvinism. Indeed, Calvinists preach a good gospel, but it is one of “cheap grace” — forgiveness without transformation. To be a real member of the Body of Christ, requires transformation from the old creature to the new one, or as Paul wrote it, “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (1 Cor 5:17).

Now put on a true lens: closely look at the members of the Church body; do you see Christ in them or the world? Christ must be in you to become a member of the Body of Christ. How that comes about is debatable, but “transformation” means change. Hence, the Church body is much like the world.

Sin is genetic, and as sons of the Devil (John 8:44), we have the Devil within our genetics.

One popular young lady in her reel, ridiculed a preacher who said that he sensed the Devil and looked right at her.

She looked around for the Devil and saw nobody. How can that be? The old creature still resides in children of God who still sin. The Devil itself was not in the Church but came to church in her genome. The Devil is as real as God and both the Devil and God cannot be together within. As such, most of the members seem to serve two masters, and given time, they must choose one over the other (Mat 6:24).

Calvinists say that the grace of Christ is “irresistible”. However, Jesus said that of their own volition (free will) as Sovereign He gave them one choice — who of the two would master them in the world?

Calvinist doctrine espouses eternal security; that whatever you desire to do, you can do without penalty or consequences. Most reformed congregations live like the Devil while saying they love God. Jesus said that who is followed reveals the one that is loved: “If you love me, keep my commandments” (John 14:15), implying that if you do not do what He commands, then there is no love for Him.

Love is often misconstrued. Love, in the doctrine of social justice, is providing money to the oppressed.

Rather, true love is providing the knowledge of Jesus for their eternal well-being. That is divine justice.

Like drug pushers push their god… drugs, Jesus pushers must push their love… Jesus. If you are not a fan of Jesus, then you push another god, most often the one that resides in a non-believer even if he or she claims to be in Christ.

You are right now undergoing a test. You are battling within each moment of the day; to either follow the world or Jesus. Each of your sins reveal who it is you follow. Like a stray beast, sometimes you do get off the right way, but if God brings you back to the true Church, you then continue on the Way to eternal life.

Unlike the doctrine of Osteen, Christianity is tough. Jesus was scourged, beaten, and died. You are to take up your cross and follow Him (Mat 16:24), so like a beast, you have a yoke to bear, but the load is made easier yoked to Jesus in love.

Will you escape The Great Tribulation? None of the apostles did, so why should you?  Calvinists say that you will escape any tribulation. That is a nice hope, but is it true? God will decide that, not your preacher or other theologian.

The Church is a body of believers who trust Jesus and go wherever He goes… His Way.

Christians are now like lost sheep going whichever way the current of the wind goes. Even the church may mislead you to go astray.

Way too many Christians have gone astray like Cain in the beginning. Church dominations often mislead for each have their own versions of the truth, but versions will not get you to heaven. Paul wrote that you must follow Jesus and Him crucified and resurrected. In 1 Corinthians 15 he wrote that the gospel is foundational… "If Christ has not been raised, your faith is empty" and cites it as an early creed, "Christ died for our sins... was buried... was raised on the third day.” Also, in Romans 8:34, that Christ died, was raised, and now intercedes; in Galatians 1:4 he wrote that Jesus gave Himself for our sins to rescue us, demonstrating that core belief.

Just because you don’t believe in a law does not mean that the law does not exist. We all ignore laws each day, but when least expected, the law finds us. Jesus is the final version of the Law, and if we do not obey, we will be found and sentenced. If your church denomination does not teach that, then it is a false version of the gospel. Indeed, Christians must obey the Law of God to abide in the Kingdom of God.

Many other examples could be provided that the Church is weak and not even a true Church at all, but an imposter. You do the math; does your church live up to the tenets of Jesus? If not, then you are being misled. You may go to Church a sinner, but to go to Paradise in heaven, you must go there a saint. How long to preserve the saints? Until they endure to the end (Mat 10:22).

“Love the Lord, all you His saints for the Lord preserves the faithful and plentifully rewards the proud doer” (Psalm 31:23).

“Saints” are those who love the Lord God enough to be among the worthy. The “elect” is contingent on who loves the Lord God enough to remain faithful, not just faith once, but to the end.

The evidence of sainthood is a proud doer, doing the will of God. His Will to be done are the Ten Words (Commandments). Command-keeping is evidence of sainthood. Just how many in the Church even try to keep commandments? Even the Name of God has become vanity, now used mostly, not for the word, but an exclamation mark!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

SPEAKING CHRISTIANESE

 Excuse the lack of an editor today, but this commentary may have verbal errors:Christians, often with good intentions, say things having no idea of the full meaning of what they have said. To be fair, that is a common thing to do. For instance, even New Agers say, “I am spiritual but not religious.” Spirituality is on the path to contentment whereas religious is to adhere to the organized structure of an organization.

Religion is organized whereas spirituality is interconnected to some unseen force in general. “Following my own heart,” as New Agers say, is doing whatever you choose to do without anyone else even guiding you.

In Judeo-Christianity, Cain followed his own heart, as “the land of Nod” suggests, he wandered through life with no specific goal. Cain followed his own heart and was cursed for it (Gen 4:11). Godliness had both order and direction, so Cain chose to live life without a purpose, wandering everywhere outside the safety of the Garden of Eden. Wandering is “worldliness,” so now you know another concept.

“In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes” (Jud 17:6). Each person did as they pleased and hence, they each followed their own heart.

That brings up another word in the Christian lexicon. Some say, “I love God with all my heart.” In fact, that is the doctrine of the true Church: Speaking to the Israelites, Moses said this:

 

The Lord our God is one Lord, and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might, and these words, which I command you this day shall be in thine heart. (Deut 6:4-6)

 

Love is not following your own heart but freely following God without coercion. The curse of Cain was that he was allowed total freedom to go even where he should not go. God emancipate him with no further expectations. Following your own heart is living dangerously, and soon Cain was murdered by one of his own people.

Following your own heart may seem liberating but it exposes you to the elements. As such, Peter wrote, “Be sober, be vigilant because your adversary the Devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Pet 5:8). Sobriety and vigilance is orderly and with direction. Religion done correctly provides a safety net because religion espouses conformity to the doctrine of the organization. There is safety in numbers but danger in isolation. Following your own heart is as dangerous as a child in a forest with no direction. Religion should provide both safety and direction; even a purpose in life. If you religion does not, then maybe you should find another one.

One specific religion has one doctrine, “Do what thou wilt is the whole law” (Anton LeVey). LeVey was at one time the leader of the Satanic religion. He is well said, Forget God for you are your own god. Perhaps the curse of Cain was God emancipation him from that one original law. He cursed him by allowing him to follow his own heart. Cain may have believed he was free, but unwittingly like his bequiled mother, it was not his own heart that he followed, but the will of Beast, and thenceforth, Cain was the “son of the Beast” (1 John 3:12). It was the will of his father that he would do, and while thinking that he was free, his evert desire was controlled.

Another euphemism in Christianese is the notion of the “heart.” It has nothing to do with the device that supplies blood, but “the central or innermost part” of anything (Merriam-Webster 2023). For instance, the heart of an apple is its core. Likewise, the “heart” of a person is his core beliefs; “one's innermost character, feelings, or inclinations” (ibid). The “core” of a person is the human will; the thoughts, feelings, and direction that you go.

Moses was telling God’s people to love God; that their hearts in love with God should be His divine heart or “will.” They were seeking purpose and direction, so their hearts had led them astray, so Moses was telling them the Way. To go the Way of God was to love Him.

That brings up another Christianese word — “love.”

Moses said, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart.” It was a commandment as the same passage implies. He was not directing the Israelites to get emotional but to go the Way of God. If God is love, and He is, then they would love Him back. Commandments are not how to feel about a subject but how to obey. To find their way to Paradise, they were to love God. Ironically, that is the knowledge it took to re-enter the Garden of Eden, “He (God) drove out the man; and He placed at the east of the Garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of The Tree of Life” (Gen 3:24). The Tree of Life is another ambiguous word. That “Tree” is the Way to Paradise, and it implies “The Way” Jesus who said, “I am the Way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me” (John 14:6).

So, now you may understand that the Tree of Life was not a “tree” but a “firm thing” as it literally means in the Hebrew. How can the Way be a firm thing? Jesus is “The Firm Thing” according to the angel of God: “The power of the Highest shall overshadow you, therefore also, that Holy Thing which shall be born of you (Mary) shall be called “The Son of God” (Luke 1:35).

That brings up another ambiguity; how can Jesus both be God and “The Son of God”? The Tree of Life is the essence of God that would be in Jesus. God did not give birth to Jesus, nor even life. John explains that well; Jesus is God (John 1:1-3,14). Jesus has the Spirit of God within His flesh. Spirit is having the Substance of God within. Now, it is known as genetics and indeed Jesus understood genetics. He said, if it was in English, “You must be born again” (John 3:7). Literally, that is engendered from (God) above (Strong 2006).  Nicodemus failed to understand that Jesus was not the biologically child of God, but that Jesus has God Himself within His flesh. Jesus validated that: Jesus said to Philip, “He that has seen Me has seen the Father; and how say you then, ‘Show us the Father?’”

The Tree of Life is whatever Substance is the Father (Yahweh) who gave life to Adam. Adam’s kind is the Tree of Life and it always pointed to Jesus as “The Last Adam” as Paul wrote, “The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening Spirit” (1 Cor 15:45). Therefore, the “Tree” was not even a tree, but a “quickening Spirit” that was always in Jesus, according to John (John 1:14). The Spirit of God is The Tree of Life; whether it is Spirit, Power, or the Genetics of God is not clear, but it does point that Jesus has within Himself the very substance of God. That is was a firm thing, means that The Tree of Life was Jesus, and not any other thing.

Hence, the original sin was going to another lover opposite of God — “the Serpent.” They fornicated with another god, Lucifer (Isa 14:14), who pretended to be Jesus. Hence, mankind once sons of God are “sons of the Devil” (John 8:44). That should hurt your self-esteem because we are both biologically and spiritually “beasts” in the manner of Satan, and re-engenderment is the only solution to our condition. Indeed, you must be born again to have the beast removed from your genetics.

The point to that discussion is that so many Christians say, “son of God” but have no idea of what they are saying. John indicated that Jesus is God in the flesh, while Luke and Mark traced His mother’s side backward to David and beyond, so Jesus was also the “son of Abraham” and “the son of David.” Hopefully, you get the idea.

More about love. It is a commandment, so it is not an emotion. Hence, “The Ten Commandments” are not legal obligations but ways to love. Jesus validated that as well: “On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets” (Mat 22:40). He was referring to loving God and others. Hence, the Law on The Tablets of Stone was how to love. The Jews failed to understand their own law and misused it to punish people. None of “The Decalogue” are about works but things you either think or not to do. Hence, they are very ergonomic and only ways to express true love. Jesus equated love to the Commandments, “If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15). Hence, The Law is not legal requirements but “ten gratitude’s” for God’s grace. With that, sins are ingratitude’s. Now you know the Law; what it is and what it is not. The Jews still fail to understand that. The exercise of the Law is kindness. Unkind people are not loving people. A fellow worker of mine was nicknamed “Grumpy.” He attended my church and even called himself that way. Grumpy is not the aspect of a Christian; joy is.

Most Christians see “joy” this way: “the expression or exhibition of such emotion” (Merriam-Webster 2023). However, that is how to express your inner self.

Joyfulness is how Christians are to express themselves (Deut 28:47); it is “simcḥa” in the Hebrew. According to its letters, simcha is not merely a fleeting emotion, but a state of protected well-being and satisfaction derived from a higher source or a secure covenant. In one word, “joy” is contentment under the protection of Jesus’s Covenant of Grace. It has nothing to do with glee at all, other than some emotional people express joy with glee. The quietest Christian may be fuller of joy. Therefore, emotion is just that. Emotion is not rebirth (aka “regeneration”) it is faith. Whereas emotion may be the outcome, cognition is the regeneration. It is not feely, touchy by any means but thinky, thinky. Regeneration is what you think about God.

Jesus was crucified, or course, for your sins, but also to reveal that He is God in the flesh. Of course, His death may make you cry (an emotion), but what you think is imperative.

Some religions and even denominations are founded upon emotion. You should feel joy in the form of contentment but not necessarily gleefulness.

Rebirth, or “regeneration,” is ambiguous as well. It is not when you become emotional but realize that you deserve death but by grace is the remedy, “For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God” (Ephes 2:8).

Christians, especially Calvinists repeat that often, but it should not be taken flippantly. Grace must be some type of transaction between God and you.

Although grace was always the way to salvation, it is mentioned only a few times in The Old Testament, one being, “Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord” (Gen 6:8). Grace was there but Noah found it. It was as if Noah was hunting for grace, but no… there was no evidence that Noah was hunting for anything, but God provided to him a thought. What was Noah thinking? God, somehow revealed to Noah that He was both real and could save, not only Noah but his household. What act did Noah perform to find grace? Nothing. God knew that Noah believed in Him, so God provided grace to him. Grace is the gift of reception. Noah would have believed intensely, both in God and that God would save him and his family.

So, what is “grace” from the Hebrew perspective? Hen pronounced khane means “favored.” Noah was favored, not by election, or even chance, but because he had faith. Faith is cognitive — how Noah thought. Because Noah trusted God, God provided grace. Faith preceded grace, so faith was the cause and grace the action. Faith was cognitive without any type of action, and God provided grace – the action.

And so it was for the repentant thief on the cross. Even before the evidence of the Holy Ghost, that man looked at Jesus and thought, This man is God. With that thought, Jesus lost virtue and the soul of the thief that day was in Paradise (Luke 23:43). Grace is the Power of God which causes change. Without the thief doing a thing because he was firmly nailed, his mind was open to Jesus and Jesus took his soul that day. The body of the thief remained nailed to the cross, but his will was removed to Paradise. The human will is somehow the soul of man.

Peter wrote about salvation, “Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls” (1 Pet 1:9). The end of your faith is what it is the moment you die. Faith begins with grace and terminates when faith can no longer be exercised, and that is when mind dies. Faith in past tense has no meaning unless it is now — the moment your mind dies to the world and taken to Paradise. Surely, where the mind goes the body will follow. The body is never saved, it is regenerated:

 

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump for the trumpet shall sound and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (1Cor 15:52)

 

Your body with its worldly flesh is exchanged for new flesh and a new body that shall never die. Rebirth (or “born again”) is the beginning of that process, by grace, “being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by The Word of God, which lives and abides forever” (1 Pet 1:23).

Death ends the growing process. The seed is planted by The Word (Jesus). That “seed” would be the Thoughts of God which are planted in the mind of the person. At planting time, it is God that does all the work, the human’s mind is just willing to be sowed with truth. Paul finished his words about grace with this, “Not of works, lest any man should boast” (Ephes 2:9).

Grace is the undeserved gift and faith the use of the gift. A gift that is just put away without being used is worthless.

How can gratitude for grace be shown? Exercising the gift, and faith is the exercise of it. Grace is the planting of the seed by God and faith is you watering the seed. Seeds do something; they grow faith until faith is fully bloomed. Without being in The Word faith fails to grow as if sown on a hard rock rather than a fertile mind; as such The Parable of the Sower (Mat 13). You mind is the “Garden of the Lord” and His grace the seed from Him, “The Husbandman” (John 15:1). As the “Vine” Jesus is the Grower who expects a yield. Some just refuse to grow because the Devil distracts them.

What must the Christian do? “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the Devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Pet 5:8). Sobriety and vigilance are not ordinary work but awareness of which you must be astute for Jesus said this:

 

Take heed to yourselves lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. (Luke 21:34)

 

“Surfeiting” is excess of anything. If a Christian becomes preoccupied with the things and cares of the world, His own Words will pass away (Luke 21:33). With that said the world in sense steals your mind even very stealthily; until what? You fall away (Heb 6:6).

Christians hate the word “apostasy.” Calvinism makes them believe that your mind once set is always set and that if you once have affection for Jesus you can never turn away. You need to know that “falling away” in the Greek is apostasia and that apostasy is after once having affection for Jesus, the Christian defects. Once defected, according to Paul (Heb 6:6) there is no coming back.

Paul wrote that because he feared that some Christians were surely defecting. Proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas. Proselytes are those who had converted to Christianity. Paul and Barnabas had to speak to them and “persuaded them to continue in the grace of God” (Acts 13:43). Grace was the planting and acceptance of the Seed that had been planted, but those whose minds were converted, must continue in the persuasion. They had followed, perhaps on a whim, but their minds must be set on remaining a Christian.

Charles Stanley, a stringent Calvinist said this about belief:

 

“[T]he unfaithful believer will not lose his salvation … Even if a believer for all practical purposes becomes an unbeliever, his salvation is not in jeopardy.  Christ will remain faithful … Christ will not deny an unbelieving Christian his or her salvation … believers who lose or abandon their faith will retain their salvation, for God remains faithful.” (Stanley 1990)

 

So, Stanley believes that unbelievers — those who turn away from God — shall be rewarded in Paradise just as those who remained faithful. Paul wrote, “Now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation” (2 Cor 6:2). You might die this moment; this moment is now. Salvation applies to your faith at the time of death as Paul also implied, “Knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed” (Rom 13:11). Hence, “salvation” is not the time of first believe but belief to the end when the souls of Christians are saved, according to Peter.

Salvation is a future event that occurs either at death or when Jesus, by grace, snatches them up while alive. Salvation is distant for those who first believe. However, for the repentant thief, that distance was his now. For him, it was when he died so that his soul was saved. For us, our now is our belief when we die or are taken.

The worst saying of Christians is “I am saved.” It is them who judges, not God. God will never change His Divine Mind, but you may yours unless your mind is set on Christ.

You determining your fate makes you the “god.”

Jesus spoke about judgment saying, “My judgment is true for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent Me” (John 8:16). Who are you to judge your own state of salvation?

The problem is not “eternal security” but the timing of it. Once saved; always saved may be true. The Calvinist problem is the timing of salvation. Sure it is fine to have assurance and the “hope of salvation” (1 Thes 5:8) but hope is for a future event. Salvation is of the soul, according to Peter, and that is when the soul departs from the one who is dying. If salvation is at death, then eternally secure after that time is reasonable, so the issue is just when is salvation?

“Born again” is persuaded to become a Christian and receiving grace for faith to grow. If faith dims to extinction because the mind is never on God, the seed of grace that God planted in you ceases to grow. Your minds are like the rocky ground on which the seed of grace is planted and unnourished the faith will die.

Saying, “I am saved is dangerous.” Who wants you to believe that you are untouchable? As mentioned before, God wants you to be sober and vigilant. The Devil desires you to be non-sober and non-vigilant. Thinking that you are saved makes you unawares of the dangers in which you live. Satan wants you to sin with no punitive thoughts in mind. If Stanley’s doctrine is true, then even non-believers will still offend God in heaven. The doctrine of eternal security as if you have nothing to fear, allows you not to fear God. It is you who is the stronger of the two and doing His will could be out of the question. If you do not believe in God, you have chosen a new master (Mat 6:24).

With that said, what have you become if not saved? “Marvel not; you have been born again,” so said Jesus (John 3:7). If you have been born again, marvel not; you can die again! You have been persuaded to become a Christian and when so, the Devil tries with all his might to dissuade you.

Or you might say, “I have become a Christian,” or “I am converted.” However, you are not saved until you die still in faith.

Even some say “I am saved” but believe in apostasy; that is just ignorance! It is irrational thinking that you can become unsaved. How is that done? If you are already there, how can you be taken back? Salvation is the end of your story, so tell me what you can do to become unsaved.

I have spent much effort on salvation because the misunderstanding of it is the most dangerous. Some who have whims base their eternal life on that one moment whim. Christianity is not for the feeble-minded but those with their minds set on Christ as the Way.

Now for those who say, “I am certain I am going to heaven.” Indeed you are going to heaven whether you are a saint or a sinner.

First off, a “saint” in the Hebrew is qados — a holy one. Saints go to Paradise and sinners to Hell (Hades). Both saints and sinners, however, go to heaven. Heaven is strictly another realm, and according to Jesus (Luke 16), both Paradise and Hell are in heaven, divided by a great gulf.

The repentant thief that same day went to Paradise in heaven and the other thief to Hell in heaven. Both went to another realm not of this world, but separate environments ( or economies) in heaven. One “economy” was torments and the other pleasure, or contentment. Both torments and contentment are cognitive. Whether real places of not, which some do not believe, they are real to the dead. Either way, real or just mental states, you will either have pleasure or torments; and it is you who must decide your future now. Grace is whenever God provides it; it is not of yourselves, so you must decide whenever God provides divine insight to you. “Born again” confused Nicodemus and likely you as well. Born again is when the grace of God imbues your mind with truth; that the truth is Jesus alone is God and only He can save. That is what the crucifixion of Jesus revealed. The repentant thief was born again when he came to understand that; his now was right then. Your now may be right now as well, or it could be in years to come.

Since you must be born again to be saved, rebirth is essential doctrine regardless of when salvation is. If grace is a seed that God plants in your mind, then before the seed grows, like any seed it must die first. Hence, born again is a process wherein the sinner dies to the world, or flesh, to be remade with a new soul and new flesh. Sinners must die to the world to be welcome in the New Creation — in Paradise. You cannot take the world with you to security in heaven as Lot’s wife found out. If the things of the world is still your pleasure then your mind has not fully set. You must die to the world to be alive in Christ, for “they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts” (Gal 5:24).

Whereas Jesus died in the flesh, you get off easier; your lusts and affections need only die. He was nailed to the Cross, but all you need to do to crucify your flesh is to nail your desires to the Tree, and then Jesus because of His grace, fixes your new flesh.

Lastly, “The glory of God” and the glorification process will be explained. Glory is kabod in the Hebrew. Literally, kabod is something grasped inside. Adam had God breathed unto, not necessarily his nostrils, but into his mind. Adam had salience for he grasped God and understood that God was in his mind. Glorifying God is ultimately understanding that only in Him is there life. Having the glory of God is God in us; not necessarily His Substance but His Thoughts expressed by The Word — Jesus.

At the crucifixion Jesus revealed that God was within His Person; that He grasped God. As such, Jesus was glorified (John 7:39) when He revealed that within His flesh resided God.

We don’t understand what or how so, but Jesus as “The Son of God” had the genetics of Yahweh within Him, so no wonder the genetics of all four gospel writers.

Oops! There goes another saying — “gospel.” Jesus went preaching the “gospel of the kingdom” (Mat 4:23) — euangelion in the Greek. “The good message” (the truth) is about God and Jesus as one Being. As “evangelists” like Jesus, Christians are to spread the word that Jesus is God in the flesh. That is not done just by going to church but going unto the world to tell them about Jesus as the Way.

Lastly, you are not born Christians for all have sinned. Everyone, including Catholics, must be born again. Maybe Protestants take that too emotionally, but “born again” is a must be. A person born again has put away the lusts of the flesh, so Christians can be recognized by what they cherish. If the United States is full of Christians, based on their lusts and pleasures, where are they?

For now, you get the idea. Christians use words that the public sector cannot comprehend, and possibly even they themselves do not. I too am guilty of assuming others know the things that I speak.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

MARVEL NOT; YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN

When Jesus endured the Pharisees, he was offended for they were quite religious, not only as keepers of the Law but policed others. They had the idea that they were the enforcers, albeit they were persecutors. In a manner, the misuse of the Law of God killed Jesus.

Jesus called a group of Pharisees, “vipers.” Of course, that was metaphorical, but their brand of religion was a viper cult since they used the Law to their own advantage. They were “vipers” in two scenarios: (1) They were of their father the Devil whose deeds they would do, as well as they spoke, not for God, but on their own (John 8:44), and (2) they were cunning.

 In other words, they had created a new religion with themselves as the enforcers. They had become the “gods” who kept peace and judged who should and should not live! They decided that Jesus should die, and die He did.

They had already killed God vicariously; now all they needed to do is to make it reality. Indeed, religion kills God. James the brother of Jesus spoke about religion. Besides Jesus, he was the one of the few who had the courage to condemn religion; he warned:

 

If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridles not his tongue, but deceives his own heart, this man's religion is vain. (Jas 1:26)

 

Even I fear religion. Am I religious or genuinely a Christian? Thoughts from elsewhere say, Larry, you are a fake! but another Thought tells me; No, you really believe that Jesus is God. A good guess is that you might be hampered as well because religion and truth is much different. Jesus warned about religion:

 

Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples, “The teachers of religious law and the Pharisees are the official interpreters of the law of Moses. so practice and obey whatever they tell you, but don’t follow their example. For they don’t practice what they teach. They crush people with unbearable religious demands and never lift a finger to ease the burden.”

“Everything they do is for show. On their arms they wear extra wide prayer boxes with Scripture verses inside, and they wear robes with extra long tassels, and they love to sit at the head table at banquets and in the seats of honor in the synagogues. They love to receive respectful greetings as they walk in the marketplaces, and to be called ‘Rabbi.’”

“Don’t let anyone call you ‘Rabbi,’ for you have only one teacher, and all of you are equal as brothers and sisters. And don’t address anyone here on earth as ‘Father,’ for only God in heaven is your Father. And don’t let anyone call you ‘Teacher,’ for you have only one teacher, the Messiah. The greatest among you must be a servant, but those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”

“What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you shut the door of the Kingdom of Heaven in people’s faces. You won’t go in yourselves, and you don’t let others enter either.”

“What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you cross land and sea to make one convert, and then you turn that person into twice the child of hell[ you yourselves are! “Blind guides! What sorrow awaits you! (Mat 23:1-16; NLT)

 

The Pharisees were very religious, just like Jesus accused, but they had no love, grace, or even tolerance! They led the charge to crucify Jesus just because He told the truth.

Pontius Pilate asked Jesus, “What is truth?” (John 8:38). Jesus did not answer but showed Pilate the truth in a very Platonian way. He revealed that His “Shadow” (selem in the Hebrew; Gen 1:27) was a fragment of Himself and was as real as His Person.

The Holy Cross is another place that Jesus overcame the world, as His Shadow moved independently of His Body.

Pilate asked Jesus for the truth; not the Pharisees; not even the chief priests of the Pharisees.

Believe it or not, for the Romans to crucify required evidence, and nobody there even attempted to provide evidence that Jesus was not God.

Pilate washed his hands of the trial because he recognized the religious leaders as frauds. It was them who portended to be gods and Pilate probably feared for his own life. The religious leaders were indeed serpents who were of the Serpent in the manner of Cain (1 John 3:12). It seems that the Messianic belief had become Kenite in the manner of Cain who also killed the “Son of God,” Abel, because it was him who worshipped in truth.

(My bet is that you have never had the crucifixion compared to Cain’s murder of Abel, but that is why we have The Old Testament; Tanakh).

Believing one thing and practicing another is hypocrisy. The Church has always been full of hypocrites and church buildings are where they practice their religion; even in the Temple in the time of Christ religion was practiced very formally with every jot and tittle (Mat 5:18). [1]

In truth, hypocrites belong in church buildings until they are set free from religion. Then they can go into the world to spread the truth. As such, like the Temple long before, the church buildings and ecclesia have become the “gods.”

People are generally born into certain religions. Although Catholicism and Judaism are the most obvious, Protestant are as well. As such, Protestants are various organized religions that broke away from both the Roman Catholic and Reformed Churches and continue to degenerate as time passes. The Apostolic Church began to crumble as Jesus faded away into the heavens and Paul chastised them all.  In modern times, how can churches even be called “churches”?

One of the most profound splits was between John Calvin and Jacobus Arminius who split Christ in half. In brief, their religious systems pierced Christ in the same manner that the Roman Centurion pierced His side. Who is right or who is wrong is not a topic of debate in this commentary, but that religion split the Universal Church again.

Jesus had “Church” on Calvary. What was the only topic to be discussed at that Council? Is Jesus who He said He was?

The centurion saw the truth, saying, “Truly this man was the Son of God” (Mark 15:39). The repentant malefactor (Dismus) already had concluded that when he compared the Tanakh to the events that day. He believed the truth before God even revealed it!

What church doctrine was debated that day? It was not The Law that they used, but truth. As the Law condemned Jesus, the truth absolved Him, at least to Pilate and a few others. Most still refused to believe the truth, albeit they had seen it with their own eyes.

Dismus was saved that day and his soul taken to Paradise. That did not resolve the Calvin/Arminius Controversary. He died when he first believed and he was saved as he died. Now the Church is split over some non-essential controversary.

How to tell which church faction is right? By which church congregation welcomes the other despite non-essential differences. Deciding who is saved when is not up to the church faction, but Jesus. In a manner, some churches have become the gods who accuse and acquit. Heaven will not be divided, so quit dividing it here.

One sincere church preacher, after I quit going there, told a friend, “The Herrins did not fit in here.” Indeed, I did not because soon the preacher’s and the church secretary’s affair was exposed. There was something there that did not fit, and it turned out to be the deeds of Nicolaitanes which God hates (Rev 2:6). That you can actively practice sin without guilt did not seem to be a good doctrine, so I was happy that I had split!

Truthfully, even I was born what I am, religiously. Albeit that is what I was, after careful study, I am no longer what I had been. I was always religious, but now I am in Christ because Christ is in me. What happened? Religion was expelled from my mind and replaced with truth.

Nicodemus asked how to be born again. Jesus responded, “Aren’t you a master of Israel, and know not these things?” (John 3:10). Nicodemus was a religious leader. but he failed to discern between religious and Christian.

As a Jew, Nicodemus was born into a religion, but Jesus taught him that his birthright was not the way but only by Himself. Jesus said to him, “Marvel not; you must be born again” (John 3:7). His birth nationality and religion would not get him to heaven, but the truth would. Jesus had said to marvel not; literally, you must be engendered from God above (Strong 2006).

Nicodemus’s parents had made him Jewish but Jesus, as God, would make him a Christian. He did not argue with Jesus about when, how, or where. Neither did he argue about water or its mode of application. God would do all the work that neither his parents nor ancestors could do.

Rebirth is throwing away all the ideas that you have and settle on one way: About Jesus, Paul wrote, “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).

Paul did not say when salvation occurs nor the process. That’s what errant Christians do. We are all Pharisees, at least most of us! It is Jesus that decides when and it must be by Him and no other person, sect, or thing.

Jesus was somewhat inclusive, but only to the degree that Christians must adhere to the truth. You cannot be an unrepentant sinner and still be a Christian. That is unnatural in the Doctrine of Jesus.

Neither is a church leader more eligible for eternal life. Jesus made that clear to Nicodemus.

Nicodemus was baptized after he ceased marveling, sometime later after Jesus had dealt with him. It was Jesus who first baptized him.

It is often forgotten that “baptism” has two modes: by water and by the Spirit of God. Jesus had just told Nicodemus about the Spirit of God and rebirth, so then he sought baptism to cleanse his flesh to suit the innermost man that he had just became.

It is imperative, and I admit doctrinal; Jesus is the Way, not us nor any substance except the Spirit of Jesus. To think otherwise blasphemes the Holy Ghost (Mark 3:29). Why so? Rather than the one true Baptism of the Holy Ghost (Ephes 4:5), the water becomes the efficient substance.

Baptism cannot be repeated; it occurs only one time. Baptism is of God and preachers are not God.  To baptize repeatably renders the Holy Ghost useless.

Note also, that Nicodemus had to dismiss what he had always believed. He was born a Jew, and he would remain a Jew. He failed to understand that he was religious but not a Christian. He came to understand that a new person in Christ has Christ in him. It did not matter the sources of his genes, but who regenerated him. Christ did that to the man who questioned his own religion.

Always question your religion as I do mine. I have always been a very religious hypocrite, but I am now a sinful Christian. To deny my sins would make me both a liar and a hypocrite, to wit: “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us” (1 John 1:8). Indeed, I am a sinner whose soul will be saved by grace.

When might I be saved? That is not up to me for I am not God. Note that the body of Dismus died on his cross but that day his soul was in Paradise alongside the Holy Ghost of Jesus. Indeed, for Dismus, Jesus was the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). Church denominations search the Bible for other ways to Paradise. For them, there must be some backdoor to sneak in without rebirth!

To be born again, you must first die. Nocdemus shed his old beliefs and his inner man died. He gave up the falsehoods of his church (synagogue) in favor of the invisible Church with Jesus at its head. Death is scripturally abandoning false beliefs. Adam’s kind died because they put away the truth in favor of deception. Just like liars must always take care not to be trapped in their own web of lies, many sincere people get caught in the web of their own false beliefs.

Face it, you are probably a Calvinist because you were born a Calvinist and the same applies to Arminius. In the same manner, most of you are either Lutherans or Roman Catholics because you were born into those religions. The same goes for Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, and all the rest. Whatever religion in which you were born; you must be born again!

Some either explain away rebirth or take it in vain because, like Nicodemus, they fail to understand it. Surprise, God does it and if it has been done by Him, then you should understand it; put away old thoughts and ways and know your muse.

I use the word “muse” there on purpose. Jesus must be the “Muse,” but for so many Christians, muses are music. They go where the music suits their natural inclinations. They get emotional when the right tunes are played but may sit lifeless when the preacher reveals truth.

Note that when Nicodemus sought Jesus, there was no music playing in the background, and neither was it an emotional event. He heard The Word and knew it was the truth. He did not marvel, dance, raise his hands, go to the altar, or anything else. He just stood there as if nailed to a cross and trusted The Word of God.

This is not to criticize the Church so much as it is us. Just as rock stars get you into the world, the Church uses the same tactics to get you into heaven. If it works for you, so be it; but Nicodemus did not need anything but Jesus and the truth that He revealed.

The doctrine of your church is not sacrosanct, but The Word of Jesus is. Let’s go His Way.

THE AGONY AND EMPATHY OF HOLY COMMUNION

 Today, another blurb from my manuscript that is likely to be named, So Goes the Church:

SERIOUS COMMUNION WITH GOD

Filled with the Holy Ghost is fully engaged with the Being of God; the same divine Substance that Jesus was fully engaged. Filled with the Holy Ghost of Jesus is a total mindset on Him and Him alone as Savior. The Christian is cognitive, having the thoughts (cognate) with Jesus and doing what Jesus would do and even think.

Unknown is that eerie cognitive substance. However, just the air is filled with waves, some of which, you intercept, so it is with the spirit world. That Satan is the “Prince of the Power of the Air” (Ephes 2:2) is more than an expression, but the spirit of demonic beings that penetrate like fiery serpents (Num 21:6); penetrate even your thick skulls and attack your mind.

So, cease thinking of the Holy Spirit as merely some substance but the flow of thoughts.

The “Church” would be a group of people over whom the Presence of God fills their minds. Communion is in remembrance (anamnesis) of Jesus (1 Cor 11:25). Anamnesis is total recall; recall what? That Jesus and Him alone died in your place.

How can anyone have total recall if communion is taken ritually or hurriedly? Christians should dwell on Christ and His goodness while absorbing His Body and Blood as if the crucifixion is right now again.

Transubstantiation is the Catholic mass wherein the elements that are eaten are transformed into the real Body and Blood of Jesus in the mouth. Not so! it is as if the communicant is taking the genetics, or countenance, of God into their own flesh. It is not done by a transfusion, but an infusion of truth into their minds; (i.e., seeing the crucifixion as happening again and again to experience what Jesus experienced.)

 It is seeing Jesus in His agony and feeling His pain, as if it is your own. Hence, Holy Communion is having total empathy for Jesus, and is working out, and continuing, salvation in your own minds. Holy Communion is both a time of agony and thanksgiving that it was not you who died, but His agony was a gift to save you agony!

Holy Communion is allowing God to saturate your minds with the agony which Jesus endured for you.

That should promote more significance to Holy Communion.

HIM RATHER THAN YOU

CHURCH BLOWN AWAY

This short blurb is from my current manuscript about The Invisible Church coming out in October. It addresses many questions and the Church falling is one of them.

Paul wrote to the Christians in the church at Ephesus: 

Now therefore you are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; in whom all the building fitly framed together grows unto an holy temple in the Lord. (Ephes 2:19-20)

First examine the “therefore” before now: “Through Him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father” (Ephes 1:18). “Him” is Jesus. The Living Water of the Spirit is the “mortar” that holds all the “lively stones” in place. So long as the Church is there, then God is evident. When the “bricks” come falling down (Isa 9:10), then look for signs of trouble. Bricks are now falling down as the number of people who deny God are blown away by the Prince of the Power of the Air.

I believe that the pandemic of 2019-2024 helped that along. Satan gained much power and soon the churches were closed for our “protection” disregarding the Holy Ghost. With that one man-made disease came destruction and the bricks of the Church came falling down just as Isaiah foresaw.

Governors and even the president demanded that churches be closed, and now Sunday night services have been shut down. People trusted the rulers of darkness over God.

In my own church building, even the bricks fell down… perhaps as a sign. My own Church is now closed on Sunday evenings, whereas before they were always traditional! What does it take for Christians to see that the Church is falling down one brick at a time as living souls squander their time on the Lord’s Day?

The Lord’s Day has become their day; at least most of it!

CHURCH: A MENTAL STATE

 This is a rough version (unedited) from my latest book in progress about the Church. It is about "states" because the true Church is not a building but the mental state of groups of like-minded people, all focused on God, whether it be God now, then, or later.

STATES

 

To become Christians, sinners must be born again, not of the flesh, but of the Spirit. How that is operationalized is a mystery, but it is not an emotional event, and neither is it by carnal knowledge. Nobody… sorry my Roman Catholic friends… are born into the universal Church.

Of course, “universal” means inside or outside, or anywhere. Church is wherever people assemble in the Presence of God, whether the “Presence” is any one of the three states of God. To make a Church, the congregants must be in homeostasis with the Godhead regardless of which state you find Him. Some found Yahweh, others found Jesus, and now the acceptable Presence is the Holy Ghost. It must be remembered that the Holy Ghost is as much God as Jesus because either is the Presence and Power of Yahweh in different states.

“States” are important in both physics and theology. The Holy Trinity are the Three States of the one same God. 

In physics, a state of matter or phase of matter is one of the I distinct forms in which matter can exist. Four states of matter are observable in everyday life: solid, liquid, gas, and plasma. (Wikipedia 2025) 

First off states refer to matter, commonly called “material.” Just because something is not obvious does not mean that it is not material, as even atomic particles that are solid material, but only appear solid and in a state that cannot be seen with the naked eye.

That Adam and Eve were originally naked and were not ashamed indicates that they were glorious beings in the manner of Yahweh.

Now for laughs, let’s compare Adam to the atom. First off, Adam was meant to be  closed as the highest form of creature that would remain who he is. The “Serpent” broke down Adam to a lower state that could be seen. Adam was always a “firm” thing as the Hebrew word for “tree” indicates. Albeit he was in a firm state the “nakedness” was that his soul was outstanding or stood out. Glorious Adam, perhaps, was his soul in a transparent shell, or husk, that was perfect.

Sin made glorious Adam imperfect within, and if my insight is true, his close encounter with Lucifer stained his “husk” and it was changed. In scientific terms, Adam’s kind were mutated just as elements mutate by losing electrons in their shells.

Original Adam would be dynamic as God is dynamic. Just as electrons are both dynamic and firm at the same time, so may have been the glorious flesh of Adam.

Think of a bicycle wheel for a moment. [1] At rest, if a person sticks his fingers into the spokes, the spokes are penetrable. Some of us have learned from experience that a spinning wheel is dynamic as our fingers hurt when we poke at the wheel at slower speeds. Ouch!

However, when dynamic enough, the spokes almost disappear. Go even faster and as they totally disappear, they seem to become one hard surface. That is true of the atom. They are invisible because of their dynamics and the dynamics make them seem like a hard surface.

Since Yahweh was invisible, He stopped when time began. If there was no time in the creation as some now say, and I concur, the entire cosmos was dynamic, going from nothing to everything in just one moment — the twinkling of the eye” as some call it.

Everything existed before the Creation, but it was unseen. What happened? Just like the bicycle wheel, God provided “spin” (dynamics) and out came firm things. The state of things changed in an instant. God always existed — “I AM THAT I AM” — but He changed states. As Paul wrote the Romans, “For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead” (Rom 1:20). As such, God is understood by created things. Albeit “Father God” (Yahweh) is like the Hebrew letter Yod that is in everything, God was both infinite and real at the same time.

God’s ”First State” was Virtue or Goodness. That was revealed by Jesus; when He lost virtue, the Greek word is “dynamos.” Virtue, or goodness, is positive and desired dynamics.

Virtue cannot be seen, yet it can be material as well. Material things can be either seen or measured. That the woman with the issue of the blood was “made whole” indicates dynamics. She got her “groove” back and returned to a normal state (Mat 9; Mark 5; Luke 8).

The woman ceased bleeding. Her state when from bleeding to not bleeding. Her dynamics changed and the Power of Jesus, albeit invisible, could be measured. All dynamics can be measured, so even though unseen, dynamic is a “state” as well.

God’s first state was dynamic. It is known that Yahweh is real because the “world” was once not there and now it is. The “world” is the universe (material) but before it was Power, Power is energy working. God was creating and the Power was El-Shaday (Almighty God).

Thus, Yahweh is the “First State” of God and like Paul indicated, although invisible He was real and the evidence of that are the things that He made.

Jesus made the woman whole. His dynamic proved that Yahweh was in Him because the state of the woman changed. The crucifixion was essentially revealing the truth to mankind. God revealed all His three States as He was crucified. Crucify means to hold still, ostensibly by driving stakes into a material object. Jesus was the object of God.

The crucifixion was scientific in search of Pilate’s desire for truth. For instance in quantum mechanics, matter always exists in one form of the other. To see its true form, it must be stopped.

As John wrote about Jesus, He always existed but was in a different state. In the process of time (Gen 4:3) God changed states. His First State was as Yahweh and his Identity was Power, signified by “El” or the Hebrew letter aleph. Lucifer, also unseen, had power as well but only God is good, as Jesus reminded His followers (Mark 10:18), thus implying that He is the same Yahweh that created all things.

After His dynamics (creating) God rested (Gen 2:2). Like quantum power, the unseen Almighty God, came to rest and revealed Himself. He was the same God but in a different state.

While in the Garden, the man and woman, so said Eve, had bright eyes and could see all states of God all at the same time; that is “homeostasis” —  steadiness between the states. What was is and remains so during changes of states. God is said to be “immutable,” always being the same, albeit in different but equal states: (1) “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever” (Heb 13:8), and (2) “I am the Lord, I change not…” (Mal 3:6).

God never changes (mutates); He was, is, and always will be. That too is the First Law of Thermodynamics, “energy cannot be created or destroyed, but it can be transformed from one form to another” (Wikipedia 2025).

“Form” therein is the different states: solid, liquid, gas, or plasma. Plasma in physics is an ionized state. The Light of God could be the ionized state, or “plasma” of God — the so-called “waters” that God divided from itself (Gen 1:6). Could it be that since “the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters” (Gen 1:2) that the First State of God was Light or Divine Plasma?

Don’t worry about physics and theology being in congruence because God is the Cause of the Physics. Physics is the dynamics and statics of things and God did both!

God was never a “Liquid” even though the term waters is translated into the English. It could as well have been called “piss” (Strong 2006). Piss implies a breakdown of anything. Piss may very well represent divine “Plasma” wherein God broke down His own essence to reveal solid substances.

Let’s say that the First State called “Yahweh” is plasmatic. Plasmas give off radiation, or light at different frequencies, most of which cannot be seen without special “eyes.” Adam’s kind surely had those eyes and other kinds did not. They could see God because they were made in the Image of God and since God is all-knowing, glorious them would have been as well.

The Second State of God is Him walking in the cool of the day (Gen 3:8) as the dusk was coming upon the Garden, although no longer bright-eyed, they still had a dim view of Yahweh. Because God was walking and not seen, His state had changed. He was the same God but plasma, or light, in the shape of a man walking. Note that the figure that was walking remained God, but His form had changed. His state went from everywhere to there at the same time. That was Jesus walking, but only His Ghost was revealed. Now time had been initiated for the mankind, at the beginning of time (time zero; at rest), the State of God had changed but He was the same God that they could see because of the sound He made walking. Again, the objects moving were the evidence of some Holy Thing moving them.

During the course of human events, God revealed Himself differently at different times. Each time, God stopped long enough to show Himself in different states. 

Atop the Ark of the Covenant, God often showed His plasmatic state. For Jacob , God revealed Himself alternately in all three states during the course of the day. Missed by about everyone is that translated “wrestled” Jacob entangled himself with a “vapor” (Strong 2006). As the light changed, Jacob was able to see God in a different light each time. Study that selection carefully (Gen 32).

At the “birth” of Jesus, He was not born naturally. God overshadowed Him with Light. A shadow is still light but less intense light. In the darkness of the womb, God changed states; He went from a plasmatic state to a solid state. Jesus was not “born” but was God manifesting Himself as a man. John the Baptist said about The Word, “I knew Him not: but that He should be made manifest to Israel”  (John 1:14).

“The Word” is hidden in the first verse of the Bible. [2] The Word is in the Greek, “alpha and omega” (Rev 22:13). In the Hebrew that is the aleph and the tav.  The Word first appears but is unspoken in Genesis 1:1, “et” — the letters aleph and tav. Et has no direct meaning in the Hebrew but to Christians Et is Jesus (John 1:1-14). Aleph-tav is not pronounced as a word but as letters only. It may sound like “ate” but it is no Hebrew Word. Hebrews fail to recognize The Word, albeit it has always been there since the beginning.

The Word is not just a word but an alphabet. It is the written sounds in consonants that describes all things. It is the “plasma” that gives light as Truth because the truth is real objective things. The Word does shed Light (Truth) does it not? The alphabet reveals the truth with objects. The Word is the First State of gaining knowledge and it was only good knowledge before deception was encountered. Hence lies are philosophically “darkness” because they are not truth. Mankind was mutated and now we live more in a dense fog than either light or darkness. Everything for the depraved is always shades of gray wherein there is both darkness and light. That is now the state of the mutant creatures that we still call “mankind.”

Now, study the crucifixion from the beginning to the ending. What was it all about? God was revealing all three of His states in one “Godhead” (Steadiness).  

Pilate asked, “What is truth? and Jesus said nothing. God revealed the truth to him; that God is always the same but people see Him differently. Since Jesus is the most obvious to the human eye, before we can see Yahweh or the Holy Ghost, we must recognize Jesus.

How can we see what cannot be seen? By the things God has done. You must see God as the Creator and Savior and to recognize His “face” as the countenance of Jesus. Now His countenance is enough with the Body of the Christ not gone, but just beyond our sense of vision.

Christians seem to look the same but they should be able to be revealed by their state. Doing what Jesus did is the Christian State. Of course, our body remains with us, but inwardly, the countenance should be much different than before.

The change of states for Christians is our countenance: mostly how we think. Christ is in us, not in our bodies, but in our hearts, souls, minds, and strenghts (or dynamics). Jesus indicated the new state of Christians: 

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength: this is the first commandment” (Mark 12:30) 

The “heart” seems to be the only object listed by Jesus, but neither is it an object. It is the countenance, or inner person. Conversion, or rebirth, is basically a change in mindset. Persuasion is how to be born again; hence rebirth is not born a second time but a renewal of the mind of God that was once in our kind.

That we were meant to have dominion over the other kinds (Gen 1:26) was that we were “crumbles” off the Image of God and His Thoughts were to be our thoughts.

Hence, becoming a Christian is a change of state as well — a change in mental state. We are the same persons but are to think like God would think. Jesus must be exemplified in His new creatures. We may look the same but inside we become Jews inwardly (Rom 2:29). 

Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being examples to the flock. (1 Pet 5:1-3) 

The “flock” is the assembly of God’s people — the “Church.” We must not, but should be willing to be different, than the non-flock: no filthy acting or speaking, but a change of mind and to be examples (like Christ) to others. Note that a change of mind is a change of heart, or countenance improvement. The modern church now has about the same countenance as before because so many Christians are Christians in name only. We say “Christians” and we call our calling “Church” but it seems so much like the world.

My friend Phil was in the mafia when he was young. He became a Christian when he had a change of heart. Eventually he encountered his old mafia family and he said, “They were friendlier than the people at church.”  That is so often true. How many friends do you have in your church organization compared to those who are obvious sinners. I am ashamed to say that few in my church organization reveal friendship at all; they are merely a group of acquaintances.

Are you a changed person? If not, will you fit into the true Church building? Is your form and function so different than God intended, that you  just don’t fit in?

Well, for the condition the Church is in today, maybe it is not a good thing to fit in.

Church is a state of being. It is of the mind. The mind should go where God is present. Can you sense the Presence of the Lord where you go? If God is with you, where you are, He will be. We are not to go to church but go unto the world. That need not be to physically go there but carry The Word as you go unto the world. That is “The Great Commission” and The Word is like waters that can flood the Earth, but not with you just sitting there acting the good Christian like Judas was wont to do.
