On Typology

KEY VERSE:

Then came the word of the Lord unto Samuel, saying, It repenteth me that I have set up Saul to be king: for he is turned back from following me, and hath not performed my commandments. And it grieved Samuel; and he cried unto the Lord all night. (1 Sam 15:10-11)

  There are many “types” in the Bible. Israel may be a “type” of Heaven, but the writer believes as do the Jews, that Israel is Heaven in that Jerusalem is the “foundation of peace” to which the City of God – New Jerusalem –  will come down. Furthermore, the Foundation Stone is under the Dome of the Rock, and hence Jerusalem is the foundation of the world, namely the Garden of Eden. God promised the Hebrews that he would “bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.” One must read with care; “good land” means a specific land: God created the paradise of the Garden and it was “very good” (Gen 1:31), and Danite spies were send to the land of Ephraim in Israel of which they reported:

Ask counsel, we pray thee, of God, that we may know whether our way which we go shall be prosperous. And the priest said unto them, Go in peace: before the Lord is your way wherein ye go. We have seen the land, and, behold, it is very good: and are ye still? be not slothful to go, and to enter to possess the land. When ye go, ye shall come unto a people secure, and to a large land: for God hath given it into your hands; a place where there is no want of any thing that is in the earth. (Jud 18:5-6,9-10)

  The Garden of Eden to that time has been the only place where there had not been any wants of anything. The land of Israel had the same attribute; “prosperity” is what God promised in the Abrahamic Covenant, but there were two types of prosperity: (1) The land of Israel and (2) a promise of a Savior. Implied is the Kingdom of David is the Kingdom of God! Indeed, as “the son of David” Jesus was heir to the kingdom of David, and later it is discovered that the real “Promise Land” is Heaven. Israel was promised as a paradise “where there is no want of any thing that is in the earth.” The only place that could be is New Jerusalem when the City of God comes down (Rev 21).

The purpose in explaining the intense typology of Israel is to understand the importance of that land. It is much more than acreage, but the origin of the universe, and the beginning of eternity. It’s where it all started and where it will never end! In the Old Testament, when physical things are spoken of, the reader must think of spiritual things. That is “biblical typology.”

  The key verse above is God’s words about King Saul. It may not be obvious, but King Saul was of two types: (1) a type of Satan who desired an earthly and spiritual kingdom, and (2) a type of Judas who preceded Christ. As a type of Satan, King Saul was foreshadowed by the Serpent, and will be mirrored by the Antichrist (Beast) at the end of days. It is to be noted that King David is a type of Jesus, with Jesus even described as “son of David.” When King Saul’s name appears in scripture, readers should think of the Devil Satan, and when King David appears, think on the King of the Jews – Jesus. (Typology does not infer exactness for David was a sinner but Jesus not.)

  Of whom was David thinking when he wrote Psalm 109? Theologians believe that the psalm is prophetic of Judas who would betray Jesus. That may be true, but David was revealing both Satan and King Saul as well since both were his adversaries! Now read a portion of that Psalm:

For my love they are my adversaries: but I give myself unto prayer.

And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.

Set thou a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand.

When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin.

Let his days be few; and let another take his office. (Psalm 109:4-8)

  David seems to be visualizing Christ’s role in that Christ is love. We don’t like to think on it, but Jesus even loved Judas, Adolph Hitler, and even Lucifer. They were all created to love Jesus, but they all had their own notions.  Their attitudes all changed. Judas may have been a nice guy when Jesus picked him, Lucifer was an angel, and Hitler at one time was an innocent child. Lucifer became Satan and Judas and Hitler became instruments of Satan. King Saul did as well. David’s psalm was about David’s and Jesus’s adversaries. Who might they be? King Saul and Satan were David’s, and Judas and Satan were Jesus’s.

  From the psalm, Jesus’s adversary would be Judas whom Satan entered (Luke 22:3: John 13:27). That only applies directly to three personages in the Bible: (1) The Serpent, (2) Judas, and (3) the Beast – or the Antichrist. However, King Saul is a type of Lucifer or Satan. Most claim that “Satan” is the title which Lucifer assumed as pretender to God’s throne. Examine the following passage from the lips of Jesus:

And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. (Luke 10:17-18)

  Jesus identified Lucifer as Satan. He said that Satan was that Satan was “as lightening fall from heaven.” Compare that to Lucifer’s only identification in the Bible:

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. (Isa 14:12-15)

  As can be seen, Lucifer, in the first verse therein was described as “fallen from heaven.” Jesus confirmed that Lucifer and Satan are the same angel. Obviously, as was God’s custom, Lucifer’s name changed with a change in attitude. In this case angel Lucifer was transformed into prince Satan who was a pretender to God’s throne. Anyone who is against Christ denies that Satan and Lucifer are the same being!

  The word “Satan” means “adversary.” David, in Psalm 109, was writing of Lucifer, the beastly Serpent, Judas, King Saul, and the Beast – the Antichrist. Not to mince words, they were all described as “devils:”

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour (1 Pet 5:8)

  David remained vigilant against Saul because God did not want Saul to be destroyed at that time. Likewise, God does not want Satan destroyed yet because his purpose has not been completed. Saul was setting the stage for David’s reign just as Satan stages Christ’s reign.

  Saul was a destroyer. Just as Lucifer was allowed to fall from the heavens to challenge God and mankind, Saul had a purpose as well. Saul was to challenge David’s anointing.

  Saul’s kingdom was the physical land of promise, but David was to become king over the promised land of Israel, and the promised land of Heaven through his descendant Jesus. David was a king after God’s own heart (1 Sam 13:14) and Saul was a king who was after power and whose sole purpose was to retain kingship. Saul’s attitude was not like David’s nor was it like Jesus’s. Saul had the attitude of Satan, and David allowed that Satan sat at Saul’s right hand in Psalm 109.

  We should know that Jesus sits at the right hand of God. David was implying that Saul was endeavoring to be a type of Christ. That attitude is the attitude of the Antichrist who we know is some future Judas-type who has Satan within him. The Antichrist, like the Serpent, will be the Beast.

Satan was then and is now “prince of the power of the air” (Ephes 2:2) or pretender to kingship of the Earth. Saul was king of the land, but by assuming the role of the prophet Samuel, he presumed to be the king of heaven as well.

  You see, that is why it is necessary to understand that Israel is a type of Heaven. God was disappointed in Saul because he took on the role not assigned to Benjaminites. The role of priests were Levites, not his tribe the Benjamanites. On the other hand, David heeded God, whereas Saul listened to witches, demons (impersonating Samuel), and himself!

  David became a servant (Psalm 51). Saul killed himself, and assumed the role belonging only to God. David would not do that to himself nor Saul!  Does that sound familiar? It should… Judas hanged himself from a tree which was typology of Jesus’s crucifixion from a “tree” (Acts 5:30). How about Saul? Did he also die on a tree? No… his typology is somewhat different; his body was pierced with a sword. He assumed the role of God and caused his own death. (Note that the enemy who claimed to have killed Saul was lying to protect his own skin.) Who else was pierced in the side at death? Jesus’s flesh was pierced by Roman swords. Jesus did not play God, although he Is God! It was the Jewish leaders who played God with Jesus’s death.

  It is also important to understand that taking a life is play-acting as gods. When people murder others, they are ending the life of a living soul. What if that soul is not born again? Then the murderer is sending living souls to eternal death in Hell. That judgment is for God, not pretenders to godhood.

David was anointed by God. Saul, as Lucifer when his attitude changed, lost his anointment. The Satan inspired Saul to kill the anointed one, David. Does that also sound familiar? Satan’s, as Jesus’s adversary, sole existence is to kill God. He thought he did on the cross, but it was merely Flesh that died. Like David’s escape from Saul many times, Jesus escaped Satan as he gave up the Ghost (Mark 15:37).

  Why did God inspire men to write about David and his adversary Saul? Because that relationship would be useful in understanding the seriousness of the Adversary’s war against Jesus. Somehow God got the message across to the Old Testament patriarchs and prophets through typology. Somehow when they thought of Saul, they visualized Satan, and when they thought of David, their vision was of another anointed one somewhat later. Yes, the Messiah Jesus is the anointed one as was David.

  Was Saul ever truly anointed to be king? With his foreknowledge God knew who would be king. David was always the anointed one, but Saul was allowed to reign for a while. That’s analogous to Lucifer reigning for a time before Jesus steps in to defeat “King Saul” – the Devil – in the end.

Have you heard this type of commentary before? I bet not! Perhaps you have been preached and taught cream-puff doctrine! Of course, I can be wrong, but test what I write by scripture.

MANIFESTATIONS AND SHADOWS

KEY VERSES:

For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. (Heb 10:1)

Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. (Col 2:16-17).

  Paul understood “the mystery of God” (Col 1 :26-28). The prophets and patriarchs of old did as well! The Law of the Torah (Old Testament) was a “shadow of good things to come.” In the first key verse, the sacrifices to serve God and preserve the Jews year by year were a shadow of Jesus’s sacrifice once and for all, as is written: “By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.” (Heb 10:10).

  I use the words “serve” and “preserve” because they are also an accurate transliteration of Genesis 2:15 (to dress and keep the Garden.) The common thread of the entire Bible is to serve God and preserve fellow living souls so they not perish. I believe that is the intent of “dressing and keeping the Garden.” I see the Garden of Eden as a Garden of Living Souls which are to come of course. Dressing and keeping the Garden, then, is a shadow of Heaven, and of course we know from the Lord’s Prayer: “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven” (Mat 6:10).

What is done in the Garden does not stay in the Garden; it is done in Heaven and in Earth as in Heaven. The Garden, if not Heaven, is a foreshadowing of Heaven, and on Earth, Christians are to shadow life in the Garden as it will be in Heaven. The prophets understood The Law. How can there be grace without The Law? How can mankind be redeemed without crimes from which to be redeemed? How can one know they are not good without metrics to reveal their evil? The Law, then is a shadow of grace! The patriarchs knew they needed redemption and firmly believed in a Redeemer! Do you have that much faith?

  The second set of key verses are Mosaic Laws with the exception of sabbath days. No mention is made of The Ten Commandments, excepting the sabbath. As I have written before, “commandments” are one transliteration from the Hebrew. Just as applicable, if not more so, are “The Ten Words” or “The Ten Prescriptions.” Prescriptions for what? Healing of the nations (Rev 22:2). Jesus – the body of God – is the Healer of the Nations.

  The Law is the Shadow and Christ is the Body of God. When Moses looked at God it was the shadow of God which he saw, but at the Mount of Transfiguration, Moses saw the shadow and body of Christ together! Moses knew the mystery… viewing the transfiguration showed him the mystery!

Jesus fulfilled The Law as he said, “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil” (Mat 5:17). The Law is the shadow of grace, and Jesus the Worker of grace.

  The entire Old Testament is a foreshadowing of Jesus, grace, and inclusion. The mystery of God of which Paul revealed was that salvation was always by faith in Jesus, by grace, and for all. Nothing has changed. When we see Christ, we must also see his shadow. Christ is not complete without his shadow because the shadow of Christ is what saved the patriarchs of the Old Testament.

  Now for The Law: Moses wrote Laws inspired by God to preserve the Hebrew people to be antecedents of Jesus. God wrote with His own finger the Ten Prescriptions as ways to serve God and preserve man. They were written on stone for perpetuity, and Moses demonstrated what would happen when the prescriptions for eternal life were broken (Exod 32:19). Just as Moses interceded with God on behalf of the people for grace, he did for mercy as well. He broke the tablets of stone to demonstrate to the apostates that they dishonored God. Without the breaking of the stone tablets, how would the Hebrews understand the Will of God or the significance and importance of The Words of God?

  The Ten Prescriptions are meant to be kept then and now. Not all the Mosaic Law but what God wrote with His own finger. They are ways to serve (love of Him) God and preserve mankind (love of people).  They are the Greatest Commandment and the Second.

The Ten Prescriptions are the items of all the covenants of the Old Testament (OT) – Adamic, Noahic, Abrahamic, and Mosaic – as well as the Covenant of Grace. That is verified in the following passage: “If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love” (John 15:10). Like the Hebrew word in the OT, the Greek word in the NT means “prescriptions.”

  Think on that; if the translators had used prescriptions for eternal life rather than commandments you must do, then the outlook on the entire “economy” of the Bible would be different. If they had, then the OT would have been considered The Grace rather than The Law! Paul wrote on that, and the prophets and Moses for that matter, understood that! Why is Abraham’s bosom important? Because the faith of Abraham – the epitome of great faith – saved him! When he was willing to sacrifice his own remaining son, he saw Jesus. His sacrifice was a shadow of the crucifixion! That degree of faith saved him in the end.

  Abraham did not obey God because he was coerced. He wanted to please God. The Ten Prescriptions are not to indenture Christians, but to set them free. Salvation of self is at the end of life, but salvation from the bondage of sin is immediate (Rom 6). When those called are born again, they are set free from obedience to The Law, and given the desire to willingly keep The Prescriptions to serve God and preserve their fellow men.

  The first four of The Ten Prescriptions are serving God. The last six are preserving mankind. God’s preserving of the Hebrews, specifically the Jews, was a foreshadowing of Him preserving Christians. When the Hebrew for “chosen people” was used for the Jews, it too meant “peculiar people” – the same thing as Christians are called (1 Per 2:9).

  The Old Testament foreshadows grace, Heaven, and Jesus Christ. It must, then, also foreshadow punishment, Hell, and the Antichrist. The Antichrist is the nature of the Beast after Satan enters in. From scripture, I believe that there are three embodiments of Satan or three instances of the Antichrist. They are not three different Beasts, but the bodies of beings who Satan uses for his purposes. The first appearance of the Beast or Antichrist was the Serpent, the second was Judas Iscariot who Satan also entered, and the third will be the Beast of the Book of Revelation who comes to destroy Christ and Christians.

  Note that Jesus is not a separate divine being, but is God manifested. In the Old Testament, God manifested Himself in various ways. For instance, Jesus is found in the OT as the Voice, the Word, the Angel of God, a cloud, a burning bush, a man in the fiery furnace and also wrestling with Jacob. Likewise, as a dark angel, Satan can also manifest himself in different forms. I believe there are three if not more manifestations of Lucifer in the Bible. The Serpent, for instance, is a shadow of Judas and the Antichrist. Tomorrow, perhaps other shadows of Lucifer and the Law of Sin will be revealed. Manifestations and shadows are different though. The Serpent was how Lucifer showed himself to our forebears. On the other hand, I believe that King Saul was merely a shadow or picture of Lucifer. Be sure and read why the next time.

Presumptuous Sin

  “Presumptuously” is overstepping one’s bounds or authority. The ultimate presumptuous sin was the original sin - being “as gods’ (Gen 3:5) which centuries later resulted in judging God and crucifying Him. Yes, crucifying Jesus was “presumptive sin” in that his killers presumed to be above God. I have written before how presumptive sin judged, convicted, and hung Jesus. (Deut 21:18-23). It is imperative that you now look up those verses and see how wrongly Jesus was judged. Of course, we know that those who pick up the first stone are those who judge first, failing to judge themselves by the same metric (John  8:7).
  All “sin” may be presumptive sin. In fact, “accidental sin” only makes sense in that God does nothing by accident, and people who portend to be God do sins by accident because they are not really gods! The root verb for “sin” is “to be.” It is noted that “to be” and “I am” are different tenses of “existing.” God is “I Am” and any pretender to God’s throne is “to be” – to be as gods. The fact that sinners value their own existence over God makes them unrighteous. It’s ultimately not the infraction that damns, but the presumption of authority! Standing under the Serpent's tree undermined God’s Tree of Life. Adam and Eve presumed to know more about life and death than God. They quickly found that they misunderstood death entirely! Not to be outdone, the Jews misunderstood death when they crucified Jesus. They only killed God’s Flesh, but throughout the transition from life unto death, the Spirit lived on. When it was finished, Jesus gave up the Ghost.  (John 19:30).
  It turned out that God’s Flesh was unwilling to die, but God’s Spirit was willing. On the other hand, God’s Flesh died but His Spirit lived on. That puts a new outlook on “The Spirit is willing but the Flesh is weak (Mat 26:41). Since people were created in God’s image, that passage applies to Jesus as well. Jesus’s flesh was as valuable to him, as ours is to us. However, he was willing to give up his flesh although it agonized him. He understood that his Spirit would never die. Adam and Eve failed to understand that their souls were immortal but their flesh would not be if they disobeyed. They presumed wrongly, that like God, they would not die.
  Then the Jews who demanded Jesus be crucified presumed wrongly that he would die! Don’t you see? All sin is essentially presumptive sin! Each time people sin, they presume that they are gods. They know better than God about what they are about to do, behave, or be attitudinal about. Christians who sin assume that God will overlook it by grace. They make a presumption about God’s grace. Dietrich Bonnhoeffer called presumptive sin “cheap grace” in that if people truly love God, they would love His Will. We pray, “Thy Will be done; in Earth as in Heaven” then do our own will.
  Our “To Be” is placing our will over God’s Will and being presumptuous about our own attributes. We were created in the image of God, but God made it clear… we are not gods! We merely presume “to be” gods.  Who else makes that presumption?

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation. (Isa 14:12-13)

  You can see from that passage where Lucifer presumes to be God. In royal courts, those who crave the crown of king due to inheritance, are said to be, “pretenders to the throne.” Lucifer’s presumptive sin was pretender to God’s throne. Lucifer has mastered presumptiveness, and he is for sinner’s their “father the Devil” (John 8:44). Presumptive beings are adversarial to God. Lucifer, because he is presumptive, is called “Satan” – the adversary. As pretender to the throne, that would be Lucifer’s title.
  Satan presumes to be God. People were created in the image of God, but with sin, were more in the image of Satan. Lucifer wanted “To Be” and so do his children – those living for sin, or better said, living “To Be” – to be superior to God. That is implied with the verse, “Doing what is right in our own eyes” Deut 12:8). When people sin, they want “to be” as gods. As such, they presume to be gods.
  When Jesus was about to die, he told Pilate that those who delivered him to death committed the greater sin than those who would kill him (John 19:11). The killers presumed to have authority, not only over Pilate, but God Himself! They failed to understand that they were not gods, and that Jesus was crucified only because he wanted to redeem mankind.
  Jesus told Pilate that he really had no power, that only God did because He was allowing Himself to die. Essentially, Jesus was telling Pilate that he was not God, and his existence was only by the grace of God. Jesus crucified Pilates’s “To Be” right there on the spot and slammed my “To Be” and yours, because by sinning, we all delivered Jesus to Pilate for crucifixion. Think not?

If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. (Heb 6:6)

  To crucify Jesus “afresh” (again) means that sinners (everybody) crucified Jesus the first time. I wasn’t there, but I crucified Jesus vicariously by presuming “To Be” greater than him in the free use of my will. You crucified Jesus as well, so don’t breath so easily!
  Now for the key verses:

And the man that will do presumptuously, and will not hearken unto the priest that standeth to minister there before the Lord thy God, or unto the judge, even that man shall die: and thou shalt put away the evil from Israel. (Deu 17:12)

Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression. (Psalm 19:13)

But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, self-willed, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities. (2 Pet 2:10)

  We can see from the last verse that presumptuous sinning is self-willed wherein people do what they want rather than what God Wills they do. “Self-willed” is exercising that attitude that our “To Be” is more important than “I Am!” In other words, our god of self is greater than the True God. “Born again” is coming to understand that “I Am” is not us! We diminish ourselves as we magnify God. That is crucifying ourselves which Freud called our “ego.” Note that in the Greek, “I Am” is “Ego Eimai.” Jesus said outright in the gospels Ego Eiami forty-eight times, and the Jews crucified him for saying that! We think that we are Ego Eimai all the time, and must crucify that attitude. Our Ego Eimai must be trimmed to size!

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. (Mat 16:24)

  Denying ourselves is crucifying sin in us – the “To Be” which sinners have chosen over “I Am.”  We can only do that attitudinally, but Jesus did it spiritually. His Holy Ghost delivered all of our sin (To Be) to Hell. That’s all our pride, self-esteem, and presumptions that he delivered to the Devil in his abode. When Jesus delivered our sins to Satan, it was Satan who vicariously died on his tree! Judas Iscariot, entered into by Satan, represented the death of Lucifer. He was not “To Be” and sin (to be) became ineffective that day.
  In Deuteronomy 7:12 above, it can be seen that those who die presumptuously, maintaining their identity of sinner (To Be), shall be judged and die! Understand death; the flesh will die immediately but the soul will be forever dying!
  Psalm 19:13 indicates that “presumptuous sin” is having dominion over God. We were created to have dominion over the Earth and the other animals, but never God! (Gen 1:26). Then what did Adam do? He let Eve have dominion over him, and then he presumed to have dominion over God!
  Breaking commandments is not mankind’s problem; presuming authority over God is! God’s Will is written on stone for perpetuity, yet we break the stones each time we exercise our will to sin (To Be.) You see, sin is not the problem, but are presumptions "to be" as gods is!

ZION

  The original meaning of the word “Zion” is unknown. It has been suggested that in the Hebrew it meant “castle.” The location of Zion is known; it was the fortress of Jebus, the original name of Jerusalem, and specifically Mt. Zion, one of the many hills of Jerusalem. Jebusites were Canaanites who David defeated and assumed control of Mt. Zion. Thusly, Zion is often associated with war and the acquisition of Palestinian land although Palestinians (Philistines) were likely not Canaanites.
However, from a biblical standpoint, Zion is indeed associated with “castle” since David wrestled control of it from the Jebusites who disappeared from history. A “castle” is a retreat wherein there is safety (Merriam-Webster Dict.), and they were usually huge, large enough to protect the citizens around it. Castles were the citadels and residences of kings throughout history. Solomon’s “castle” or “House of the Lord” was referred to “the citadel to the Lord” (1 Chron 29:1). That specific citadel, built on Mt. Moriah which has often been confused with nearby Mt. Zion.
  “Zion” has come to mean all of Jerusalem and all of Israel. “Daughter of Zion” refers to the Israelites (Micah 4:1) and hence the dispersion of the Jews all over the world. Zionists are those who desire to come home. The word “Zionism” was coined by the Germans in the late 19^th century to describe the desire of Jews to return to their homeland (Wikipedia; “Zion”).That movement came to fruition in 1948 when Israel became a nation again as Jews returned “home.” Of course, home is where the heart is, and with that Zion in the old Negro spirituals, came to mean a place of spiritual peace!  Zion has also come to mean Jerusalem more so that all of Israel since Jerusalem means “foundation of peace.” Of course, Zion specifically remains that fortress on a hill in Jerusalem wherein someday there will be peace!
  In the sect of Kabbalah, Zion is the spiritual point of Existence, and the location of the Holy of Holies. Of course, the Holy of Holies is beneath the Foundation Stone inside the Dome of the Rock. That specific rock is believed to the datum (cornerstone) for the entire universe and is called “the navel of the world.” Thousands of people have come “home” to Zion and buried in the Mount of Olives Cemetery so as to be the first to enter Heaven at the rapture of those dead in Christ, as well as the living. Zion offers hope to Jews and Christians all over the world. The City of Zion is the City of God called “New Jerusalem:”

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.  And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. (Rev 21:1-3).

  Of course, Jerusalem (Zion) is now only the foundation of peace, but when New Jerusalem is built where the “harlot Babylon” is today, that great city will be the citadel of peace. God’s “castle” on Earth will be in Jerusalem, and it will finally be the “Citadel of Peace” and a place o safety. Of course, God’s throne will still be in Heaven, but Zion will be the place of His footstool (Isa 66:1; Acts 7:49). Not by coincidence, Zion is where Heaven meets the Earth, and Jewish scholars believe that Jerusalem is the location of The Garden Paradise of Eden. The Foundation Stone was the focal point of Heaven and Earth (Gen 1:1) and where God’s work was finished when Jesus died on the cross.
  Thus, the cross, grounded on Earth at Zion, point to the new city of Zion in Heaven. That old piece of wood represents the Way to Heaven through Jesus who redeemed mankind on it, and the lateral bar represents “the whosoever” from John 3:16.
  Zion is the City of David and where David planned the “House of God” – Solomon’s Temple. That waas not on Mt. Zion but Mt. Moriah. Hence, Zion came to represent Mt. Moriah more than Mt. Zion. Spiritually speaking, the cross with Jesus on it, is where God’s “house” was really built! I am referring to God’s true “House” or the “Church” which is the invisible House of God.
  After God attended the Hebrews throughout history in tents (tabernacles), He sort of embarrassed David, by bringing that up. Let’s read the passages as Nathan used God’s Word to reveal to David:

And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever. I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men: But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee. And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever. (2 Sam 7:12-16).

  David wanted to build a house for God. God scoffed at that because His intent was to build a House for the Jews and Gentiles. The verses above refer to God’s Kingdom (not David’s), a descendant of David (Jesus – the son of David), and mercy toward sinners. It is important here to realize that just as Job could have sinned, Jesus could have as well. The temptations of Christ were not window-dressing; Jesus struggled with temptation just as Job had, and overcame temptation and the world.
When God said “thine house” to David, it was not Davidic dynasty which failed time and time again. It was David’s “son’s” house in David’s “son’s” Kingdom! God was referring to the Zion of New Jerusalem – the City of God. Whose “house” was in reference? When Nathan spoke God’s Words to David, this is the house to which he made reference:

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (John 14:1-3).

  God was revealing to David that He Is the House-builder! God caused David to look beyond Solomon’s Temple to the real House of God which is the Church! His “House” will be for those who are troubled enough (for their souls) to believe in God. Jesus will be there as “Prince of Peace” in the “City of Peace” of course, “to heal the nations” (Rev 22:2). Zion, then, is not Mt. Zion itself, but the House that God will build there to heal the hearts of those who love Him! Zion represents hope – a return to God and His Kingdom. Just as the Negro slaves longed for peace in Heaven, perhaps thinking back to Africa, Christian “servants” long for peace in New Jerusalem, thinking back to Zion.
Christians are Zionists. It’s neither war they seek nor territory they desire, but Peace on Earth goodwill toward men. That’s why Jesus was born! Zion is that place of peace to return to its foundation. “Regeneration” is much more than conversion; it is a return to the state in which people were generated back in the Garden – a peaceful nature wherein everything is “very good” (Gen 1:31).

On Contradictions

ON CONTRADICTIONS

  Many theologians seem to err against God. They look for contradictions in the Bible. If there are found to be contradictions, then the Word would not be inspired as claimed, and God’s credibility is questioned. That is blasphemous, and is the original sin. Why so? Adam disrespected God’s authority, accepting the lie of the Serpent rather than Divine truth.

Theologians point to King Saul’s death and David’s response as contradictory and cruel, respectively. Firstly, let’s examine the perceived contradiction:

Then said Saul unto his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore afraid. Therefore Saul took a sword, and fell upon it. And when his armourbearer saw that Saul was dead, he fell likewise upon his sword, and died with him. So Saul died, and his three sons, and his armourbearer, and all his men, that same day together. (1Sam 31:4-6).

  That is the first description of King Saul’s death. In this case, Saul committed suicide and his armor-bearer did likewise. Now examine, the second description:

And he (Saul) said unto me, Who art thou? And I answered him, I am an Amalekite. He said unto me again, Stand, I pray thee, upon me, and slay me: for anguish is come upon me, because my life is yet whole in me. So I stood upon him, and slew him, because I was sure that he could not live after that he was fallen: and I took the crown that was upon his head, and the bracelet that was on his arm, and have brought them hither unto my lord. (2 Sam 1:8-10)

  That conversation was after the fact of Saul’s death. The first version was someone’s eye-witness account. They left a deposition in 1 Samuel 31. The second conversation was alleged to be an eye-witness account of what happened before. One story has it that Saul killed himself, but the second account was that this foreigner killed Saul. It is contradictory, but is there a reason?

  Let us look at the motives of the Amalekite: “When he came to David, that he fell to the earth, and did obeisance.” This man was an enemy. He was quick to change sides in the war. “Obeisance” means that he acknowledged David’s superiority. He feared David, and like any fearful person, he sought safety. He had been against the Israelites in battle. How else was he to placate David? Surely knowing that David had sought refuge with the Philistines, it is certain that he knew of the conflict between Saul and David. To impress David to save his own skin, what would be the natural thing to do? Knowing that the enemy of the enemy is a friend, the man claimed that he killed David’s nemesis.

  He paid obeisance to David, and also placated him with I am your friend because I killed the man who sought to kill you! Furthermore, the man was claiming credit for what he thought was a noble endeavor, but it was ignoble to the Lord and David. Rather than gratitude, David, inspired by the Lord, saw through the façade. He surely understood human nature enough to see through the man’s ploy. The man was doing nothing more than elevating himself to save his own skin. In other words, the second version is a lie, and the first version is the truth. The Amalekite’s story was a perversion, and David judged him correctly.

  Albeit, the two versions are contradictory, the second account is an obvious deception. Therefore, the theologians who claim a contradiction are wrong and probably know that they are if they have any discernment at all. Human nature is to bloviate and deceive, and the man whose god was not God would have no qualms about elevating himself and lying. On the other hand, the first account was inspired to whoever wrote it, and would be the truth. So much for the contradiction, and now let’s examine those same theologians who believe that David was overly vindictive in his actions.

And David called one of the young men, and said, Go near, and fall upon him (the Amalekite). And he smote him that he died. And David said unto him, Thy blood be upon thy head; for thy mouth hath testified against thee, saying, I have slain the Lord's anointed. (2 Sam 1:15-16)

  Firstly, David did not smite the Amalekite for killing Saul; it was for SAYING that he had killed Saul. David also demonstrated by his words that he knew the man was lying: “Thy mouth hath testified against thee.” In modern English, You are lying to save your skin and your words give you away. David was not stupid, and he had divine insight. He wasn’t fooled by the charade. The Amalekite was not punished for killing the Lord’s anointed, but for lying to elevate himself. Examine the Mosaic Law regarding perjury:

When dealing with cases involving the death penalty in Israel at the time of the Old Testament, at least two witnesses had to be summoned to court (Numbers 35: 30). If these accused the defendant using false testimony, he was, given the corresponding verdict, executed despite his innocence (1 Kings 21).

If, however, the court found that a witness had given false testimony, then this witness would receive the punishment which the defendant would have received if he had been found guilty (Deuteronomy 19: 18-19).

In Jewish wisdom literature, bearing false witness is associated with lying in general: "A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who speaks lies shall perish" (Proverbs 19: 9). (From New Apostolic Church International Website; Oct 4, 2013).

  David’s seemingly cruel punishment was nothing more than administering justice as prescribed by Law. There were not two witnesses, although the accusation was against himself. Since he claimed to have killed the king, and their were no other witnesses, then his penalty was death for bearing false witness. Therefore, David’s punishment validates that the Amalekite died for lying not killing the king.

  We must be careful when we read modern theology. It seems that many of the liberal scholars tend to pervert the Word and look for errors to defy the claim that Holy Scripture is the inspired Word of God. In other words, they would prefer that the Bible be a “book of lies” rather than profound truth. To fabricate contradictions is blasphemous because their insinuation is that God is a liar. Using the example from scripture and Mosaic Law, those who call this contradictory and cruel deserve the same punishment as the Amalekite. They need to thank God that the “economy” has changed; that grace supersedes the Law for the unwitting!

THE DEPARTING SPIRIT

  Mankind are living souls. “Soul” is from the Greek “psyche” and it means “to breath”. Scripture says that “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul” (Gen 2:7). Adam (man) was material, and God breathed spirit into him, and he was made alive. “Living” is the soul containing God’s Spirit. And people think living is nearly breathing! Those with souls without God’s Spirit, then, are the waling dead. That’s what Adam and Eve failed to comprehend!

  It appears, then, that the body is the vessel for the spirit, but it is material. Matter is not holy but Spirit is. Therefore, there must be a container for God’s Spirit to separate “it” from the body.

Think of the soul as similar to the uterus in certain ways. The uterus is basically an incubator for the developing fetus. It’s the nursing home for the unborn child until it can live on its own. It is a sanctuary from the world until old enough to adapt to the world. Another word for uterus is “womb.” Therein, the placenta provides oxygen and nutrition to the gestating baby. The uterus accepts life and grows it. Growing indicates a living organism. The placenta isolates the child’s blood from the mother’s. They are two separate entities as far as life-blood is concerned. They are two separate beings, one living in the sanctuary of the other. If the mother’s blood was allowed to mix with the developing child’s, it could be deadly for both of them!

  Although the soul is much like the uterus, it is not material. It is without physical body, presence or form (incorporeal) and is an “essence” that has an identity. It is a “substance” but a supernatural substance in that it cannot be detected with the senses or instrumentation. Therefore, because it is incorporeal, science disqualifies itself from its study. To them, the soul does not exist because they have no way to understand it.

  The soul can be understood although it is incorporeal. It is an invisible “womb” which incubates the Holy Spirit breathed unto it. Unlike the uterus which has shape, mass, and properties, the soul itself does not. It is what is inside of it. There are three “things” which can live in the soul: (1) Nothing, (2) Goodness, and (3) Evil. If God is “good” and only God Is (Mat 19:7), then it is God who lives in the soul. The person is merely material, and has no spiritual goodness. Adam was created in the image of God, and that was “very good.” (Gen 1:310). That was because God breathed His Spirit into Adam, not that Adam was good.

  The soul can also contain evil, although not at the same time as good. Theologians have difficulty with God not “looking” upon sin, then consorting with Satan as in the Book of Job. Let’s examine that single passage: “Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity…” (Hab 1:13). First off, some say that God does not have eyes. Jesus Is God’s eyes, flesh, speech, hearing, and even tasting; and no telling what other senses! However, does that passage mean exactly “eyes?” I believe in this context that it is His countenance which cannot “experience” iniquity (sin). His “eyes” in that case is His countenance (Strong’s Dictionary). Thusly, Holy Spirit cannot co-exist with unholy evil within the soul. Like the uterus, the soul is a place for sanctuary from the evil of the world if it is imbued with the Spirit. Like the uterus, the Spirit grows within the soul. That is the process of sanctification, or cleansing the soul of waste.

I use the word “imbued” rather than “filled” because pletho in the Greek (Acts 2:4) also means “supplied.” Just as the placenta supplies the needs to the gestating baby, protects it, and expels waste, the soul does the same for its contents. Christians can still sin, but since it is covered by Jesus’s blood, then the Spirit of God expels the sin and keeps the soul clean! That is by grace as God does not want to behold sin.

  Jesus is THE person of God with senses and personality. Jesus’s Mind is a substance of God and the Holy Spirit is the Power of God. Spirit is a supernatural (beyond natural ) essence (ultimate nature, i.e., belonging to God). That leaves the Holy Ghost. That is a disembodied soul. Specifically, The Holy Ghost is Jesus’s disembodied soul whose essence is his Spirit which experienced the pangs of death with God’s Flesh on the cross (Mark 15:37). The transition from Spirit to Ghost occurred at Jesus’s death (John 7:39; KJV specifically).

  Jesus has a soul, and the Spirit of God resides in his soul. Inside God’s Flesh, somewhere inside Jesus was his soul. Within his soul, God’s Spirit resided. As God is omnipresent, then with His Flesh in Heaven, Jesus’s Holy Ghost resides within the souls of Christians. Regeneration is the soul returning to its original generated condition, just as it was in Paradise before sin entered into it.

The other “thing” that can be in the soul is “nothing.” Before a child is conceived the contents of the placenta is nothing. Just as the void in which living souls were incubated, the soul can be empty. When Adam was created, his soul was empty until God breathed His Spirit into it! Life fills inner space, the placenta, and empty souls. God authors the contents of space, the womb, and the soul.

God is ultimate good. Jesus’s soul was filled with the Spirit of God. Not just supplied or imbued, but filled all the way because he is without sin. On the other hand, Satan is the ultimate evil. Satan imbued or supplied the soul of Judas Iscariot (Luke 22:3) just as he did to the Serpent back under his tree in the Garden of Eden. Satan, however, unlike God, cannot reside in the souls of men. However, evil can!

  Satan has a spirit as well, and it is evil and unholy. Those who he masters has the spirit of evil within their souls. For some, demons reside within their souls. Don’t forget, the soul is not holy or unholy; but its contents are (Mark 5:8-9). It seems that demons within the souls of men are reserved for those who have cognitive dissonance and cannot decide which master to serve! Demons seem to be used for persuading those under conviction that they are helpless because of the power of Satan. Demons cannot enter people with faith in God because there is a hedge of safety about them, but they can taunt holy men and women, and apparently enter the souls of unrighteous people who God calls.

Now for the key verses:

But the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord troubled him (1 Sam 16:14)… And it came to pass, when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took an harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him. (1 Samuel 16:23)… And Saul was afraid of David, because the Lord was with him, and was departed from Saul. (1 Sam 18:22). And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul answered, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by prophets, nor by dreams: therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do. Then said Samuel, Wherefore then dost thou ask of me, seeing the Lord is departed from thee, and is become thine enemy? (1 Sam 28:15-16)

  The Holy Spirit departed from Saul, of course not because God forsook him (Heb 13:5), but Saul forsook God! Afterwards the Holy Spirit departed, and an evil spirit entered. Saul was “refreshed” which surely meant the evil spirit departed, but it seems that God did not re-enter Saul because that would bring shame to God: “If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame” (Heb 6:6). It appears that Saul was left with an empty soul. Indeed, he was “troubled.” Many seemingly “good” people are troubled although they may no have an evil spirit. Of course, they still sin, as children are wont to do, but they are not yet inherently evil because God protects for a time those he calls, obviously to provide time for them to be persuaded.

  After a period, evil again entered Saul although he had moments of contrition wherein God was giving him multiple chances. His evil showed when he killed all the prophets but one! Saul seemed to repent, but many believe it was a false repentance. He actually delved into sin more deeply when he had the false spirit of Samuel conjured. Saul only “perceived” that it was Samuel. Any contrition made was to a demon. Some believe that the apparition was actually Samuel, but God had forbidden that. I contend that it was a demon to whom Saul turned for contrition! (I have written before on that topic in this blog.)

  People are in danger in the uterus unless protected. They are naturally protected by the Lord via the placenta. If the unborn child is killed by intrusion, the placenta is expelled. If the child is born it is also expelled. Likewise, if the soul is emptied when someone is reborn but aborts God’s Will, then the soul has no utility, and there is danger that evil will enter into the vacancy. Reprobate is when the soul becomes so filled with evil that life is forfeited. Unfortunately, that is eternal life which is forfeited.

On Weapon Control

AT WAR WITH THE FIRST AND SECOND AMENDMENT

KEY VERSES: David said unto Ahimelech, And is there not here under thine hand spear or sword? for I have neither brought my sword nor my weapons with me, because the king's business required haste. And the priest said, The sword of Goliath the Philistine, whom thou slewest in the valley of Elah, behold, it is here wrapped in a cloth behind the ephod: if thou wilt take that, take it: for there is no other save that here. And David said, There is none like that; give it me. (1 Sam 21:8-9).

  There was a civil war in progress – Saul against the Lord. Saul had been ordained by God as the first king of Israel, but the large man did things his way. Effectually, the war was Satan’s will against God’s Will, and it was spiritual warfare. Saul represented the forces of evil and David the heart of God. The Abrahamic Covenant granted the Promised Land to the Hebrews. The covenant was not unconditional. Like any covenant there were conditions. In this one, God would be their God and they would be His people. Saul came and went. Sometimes he was God’s and sometimes not! King Saul’s very purpose was to test the fortitude of the Israelites. It is written, “The evil spirit from the Lord was upon Saul” (1 Sam 19:9). The New King James Version uses “distressing spirit” in many places. (Strong’s Concordance uses “bad” and “evil” with “distressing” only a secondary definition.)
  As understood from the Book of Job, God allows Satan to test with his evil. God doesn’t do the evil, but allows it as a means of testing fidelity. God intended David to be heir to Saul, not Jonathan, Saul’s son. David was a pretender to Saul’s throne and God anointed him king rather than Jonathan. We find that David would not depose King Saul, but it would be by the timing of natural events. Saul, then, was the party who started the civil war in Israel, but at the same time the parties of Saul and David were fighting the Philistines who occupied the land. At the same time of the civil war, there was also a war for independence from the evil Philistines (Palestinians).  This is a perfect example of the enemy of my enemy is my friend, and pertains to Saul and David’s relationship for a time.
  With that background, rather than the civil war, examine the war for independence: Technologically, the Philistines were of a different era than the Israelites. The former was in the iron age and the latter still in the bronze age. As such, the Philistines had chariots and weapons of iron and Israel did not. Bronze weapons were weak and often broke in battle. The Israelites even had to go to the Philistines to which they were tributaries and have them make tools of iron - even plows and such. The Philistines knew which Israelites had what, and when it was obtained, because they were the government.
  That type of regulation prevented the Israelites from rebelling against their master nation. That is the first example of “gun control” in the Bible because swords and spears were their “guns,” so to speak. The Israelites were in bondage out of fear because they had no useful weapons. (The government still wants to take away useful weapons.)
  As we can see from the key verse, the only real weapon at hand for David was Goliath’s steel sword. Of course, the Power of God was the Israelites real weapon as demonstrated in scripture as Jonathan, David, and at times Saul won in battles fought in the Name of the Lord. In other words, Saul was king in name only; it was God who was really King!
  If you’ll remember, President Obama said about the working class: “"They get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations." Obama, for one time, was very right! We are like the Israelites who were bitter against subjection by the Philistines and clung to their weapons and God! Now, note that the Philistines were immigrant sea peoples from Crete and elsewhere who came uninvited to the land promised to the Israelites by God in the Abrahamic Covenant. Most immigrants (Edomites) were welcomed into the Promised Land and lived peacefully with the Israelites. The violent Palestinians were not welcome in Israel because they were a danger to the Hebrew culture and religion, for they did not acknowledge the Israelite God.
  Why are Christians and conservatives against unfettered immigration? Because, like the early Palestinians, some are clear and present dangers. King David and Jonathan fought against those whose gods are not God. Mexicans have the same God; many Palestinians do not. Israel still fights to retain their independence which David won for them from the Palestinians over two-thousand years before! From the Bible, Christians know who wins the war of independence from Satan and Palestine, and for me and my household, we are with Yahweh, not Allah! We are still on David’s side and the Kingdom of David’s!
  Now examine the Palestinian version of “gun control” in those days, but let’s now call it “sword control,” keeping in mind that the sword was the “gun” of that time. (Note that if people don’t have guns they will find other weapons. Samson used a jawbone! One crazy man in the United States used fertilizer, proving it is not the weapon but the mentality of the people.)

Now there was no blacksmith to be found throughout all the land of Israel, for the Philistines said, “Lest the Hebrews make swords or spears.” 20 But all the Israelites would go down to the Philistines to sharpen each man’s plowshare, his mattock, his ax, and his sickle. (1 Sam 13:19)

So it came about, on the day of battle, that there was neither sword nor spear found in the hand of any of the people who were with Saul and Jonathan. But they were found with Saul and Jonathan his son. (1 Sam 13:22)

  The Philistines (Palestinians) had an early form of “gun” control. It was the case of a bad government causing righteous people to pay tribute to an evil nation. We know from the Declaration of Independence of a similar event:

  We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed, by their Creator, with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.

  That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles, and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

  Democrats are afraid of that mindset, so they favor discarding the U.S. Constitution and particularly the Second Amendment!  (The “blacksmiths” of those days were the gun manufacturers of today. The first recourse is to limit the manufacturer of useful weapons which the Philistine did and liberals still do!)
  The liberal government of the United States, bullied by progressive Democrats, are the modern-day “Philistines” whose desire is to take away our effective weaponry just as the Philistines did with Israel. Note that confiscation of effective weaponry is the way of all despotic nations and those leaders who would enslave those they fear. Note that the Philistines feared the Israelites because they feared their miracle-working God, and the zealousness of those fighting for God. That’s why Democrats fear Christians and our clinging to our Bible and guns.
  The relationship between the Philistines and Israelites is an early picture of communism. I would write, “socialism,” but like modern day socialists, when that fails, they always return to violence. We see that in the modern-day Klan today – Antifa. In this situation, compare Trump to David, and the Democrats as the Philistines. They are in the process of selecting their “Goliath,” but it may end of being some loud-mouth woman or effeminate man who is afraid of swords, guns, and even plastic straws!

Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. (1 Sam 17:45) Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands.” (1 Sam 17:47)

  Christians today are on the right side. Jonathan was on the side of the Lord in those days and was heir to the kingdom. Can you image Hillary submitting to Trump? Well, that’s what Jonathan did, and he was righteous. Democrat leaders are not. They can’t kill Trump, but they can the elderly and innocent babies in the womb.
  Intimidation, malice, and hatred are their “swords,” and naïve people submit to their loud mouths. David heard the intimidation of Goliath and slung a smooth stone into his brain an killed him! David didn’t need a sword because he had the Word of the Lord! Even without guns, Christians still have the Lord and He is an Almighty Warrior!
  I believe the “the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God” (Ephes 6:17) was David’s killer stone, which by the way, liberals want banned from use! The Word of God is Jesus Christ, and worse than changing the second amendment is aborting the first amendment. Liberals actually believe they can kill God by removing Him from our nation! How naïve is that! We cling to our guns and Bibles. Imagine liberals fighting a revolution with neither guns or Bibles. They would come to fear the Lord!
In summary, dictatorships always take the guns and other weapons of war from people fighting righteous wars. Hitler, Stalin, and Mao were recent examples, and frankly that’s what all the Philistinian Democrat candidates for “king” want to do. King? Yes; with the power of the bully pulpit, they would be kings!
  We are in a Revolution at the moment. It actually started with the Enlightenment and the Age of Reason. That age, a Philistinian age, has not ended, but the world remains enslaved to Philistine-like bullies who intimidate and hate. Even physically, the world still fights the same religious war as did David and Jonathan. The war is still between whose God is stronger – Allah or Jehovah. Christians need to cling to their Bible and stick to our guns because those two instruments of war were how David overcame the Philistines and lived at peace as long as the Israelite God was their God!
