THE ILLUSIVE HEBREW LETTER GHAYIN

There are twenty-two autosomes in human genetics and one paternal and maternal chromosome for a total of 23 chromosomes of each gender. So, what?

Not by accident there are twenty-two Hebrew pictographs. That seemed odd until I realized that there was an ancient, now unused, Hebrew pictograph that has been absorbed into the Hebrew letter ayin. That letter has various spellings: ghah, ghayin, gayin, khayin , kayin, and even qayin. Its pictograph was like a twisted rope shown below, and the meaning: twisted, dark, wicked, or perverse.

For instance, the Gaza strip that was originally spelled with a Ghayin, meaning "strong or fortified city" is now spelled with an Ayin (עזה), thereby why English translations still use a hard "g" sound.

By now, many people remember the atrocities of the Hamas people living in Gaza who attacked Israel on October 7. 2023; they were Hamas and obviously of a different people than the Jews: twisted, dark, wicked, and perverse who have now been tamed. They would have been the qof in the ancient letter ghayin as well as the Ghayin people.

The letter “k” does not exist in the Hebrew but is the sound of the letter qof. The letter gimmel sound is “g,” but it represents a walk or gathering. How both sounds: the k and g evolved, remains unknown, but the qof in qayin has significant meaning — beyond observable reality or hidden, in contrast to ayin, which implies an observable thing.

If that is true, and it seems to be, then Ghayin and Qayin very well describe the tactics of war in which Hamas engaged the Jews on October 7, sneaking in unobserved through many tunnels to startle those Jews who were attacked. The letter qayin seems to be the hidden feature within observable things. It is also the spelling of Cain’s name in Hebrew.

In like manner, Gomorrah, once spelled with the ghayin: submersion or darkness, now has dropped it. The ‘g” or “k” sound is not there but understood and even pronounced by western tongues. It is known from the Bible that Gomorrah was a wicked city that God destroyed with fire. The wickedness, ghayin, was gone once the city was destroyed.

The letter ghayin/qayin is also believed to be a picture of a coiled rope; that brings to mind the invisible serpent in the Garden who may have been the source of genetics in some “Beast” who came into the woman.

The ghayin within a Hebrew word would generally mean “twisted” whatever the second letter might be; for instance,  would mean “dark” or “twisted man” and would imply an enemy. The letter ayin begins with either the “a” sound or throaty “gh” sound based on usage. Qayin has that type of sound.

Strangely, that the letter qayin disappeared from usage as Cain/Qayin wandered to the land of Nod (Gen 4:16), along with Cain went his genetics. He was found below Mt. Herman with his offspring before the flood, according to the sacred literature where he was killed by his own seed — blind Lamech.

(Note that blind Lamech did not kill both Cain and Tubal-Cain but only wounded the latter, contrary to theologians, and according to the Hebrew.)

Where Cain had gone is beneath Mt. Herman so where might Nod have been? From “the Presence of the Lord” (Gen 4:16) to where? “The land of Nod” away from the Presence of the Lord. It seems that Cain would no longer be conscious of the Lord God wherever he would go.

The word “land” (‘eres) would be opposite of heaven. Cain would remain out of the Presence of the Lord and dwell in the material realm called “Nod” (נוֹד).

Nun (נ): uncertainty

Vav (וֹ): bound

Dalet (ד): across the threshold of spacetime and matter.

Cain (Qayin) would have been a base man as his name implies. Nod would not be a place but a lower state of man without the Presence of God within him and his home the fertile plains below Mt. Herman, the latter where the Presence of the Lord is said to have been with Seth’s kind. The vav would indicate that Cain would have been bound away from the Lord with a twisted rope, or perhaps genetics as you shall soon see.

That Lamech was blind, the same as Saul in the New Testament, would mean that he could see unto the heavens. He could very well see that Cain was just a beast to be killed and one without a living soul.

Qayin had been killed by his own kind but lived on with the sound of his name in both Gaza and Gomorrah where the wicked Spirit of Cain seems to have resided.

King Solomon was surely speaking of Cain as death when he wrote, “Or ever the silver cord be loosed” (Ecc 12:6).

The letter qayin was surely the silver cord, or more precisely keceph (כֶּסֶף) chebel (חֵבֶל) — a pale rope twisted. What does that bring to mind? Human DNA. The letter qayin/ghayin surely refers to wickedness in the genetics of Cain’s kind and that is death in theology.

Did Cain really die, or was his silver cord just loosed to go away from the Presence of the Lord? (That is the thread of my book, The Arks of Tubal-Cain.)

Since the flesh of mankind is our enemy, perhaps it is because the Devil was in Cain and since his seed was loosed, then the Devil is in all of us (John 8:44) until remedied with rebirth (John 3:7).

Did Cain’s kind really die, or did he live on in Tubal-Cain, who was just wounded? Did Nod turn out to be all over the world as my book identifies various cultures with remnants of Cain in them? …and places without the Presence of the Lord such as the orient “eastward of Eden?”

Khayin/Qayin has been loosed and perhaps are now being revealed in eastern places and religions like God’s but much different as well.
