CHRISTIANITY FOR DUMMIES: The Nature of the Beast

To be rewarded requires humility. Just as a dog is rewarded for the obedience to its master (not to diminish salvation), but Christians must be obedient to their masters. Dogs are said to be man’s best friend, and so it is with mankind to God.

Never forget this, you are not gods, just as is written in scripture. [i] Neither will you ever be gods, nor will you ever be angels. Christians must have a realistic viewpoint of themselves to be Christians; that you must, “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up” [ii] is what God expects from you!

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double minded. [iii]

Submission is to cease having dependence on your own devices. You can never save yourselves! No matter how good you try to be, you will always have within yourselves the inclination to sin, and sin you will always do, given the choice of sin or not to sin. Sin is written in your genetic code; it is written in your DNA, and however hard you try, you will eventually come short of having glory.

‘Glorious,’ again, is the Image in which God made you, but now everyone, yourselves, come short of the glory of God. [iv] That is repeated, and will be again, so that you understand that you are not who you think you are! You are not the star of it all, the greatest singer in the world, the prettiest little thing ever, or any grand thing. You are not who you think you are; you are a beast!

However, loving masters care about their dogs and other pets, and God cares about those who adore Him just as pets love their masters. Dogs and other pets serve you! Sure, they may lick and cavort with others but when the special love comes, dogs come to you! Christians are to be the same way:

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will hold to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. (Mat 6:24)

The word, ‘mammon’ must be understood. It is whatever is in this world that you trust in. There are two natures to trust; the supra-natural of God because He is supernatural — beyond the natural, or to trust the natural.

Many are afraid of the supernatural, but rather, it is really the natural world that perturbs you. Because natural born people are of this world, they trust the world, more so than what they cannot see. Many trust the ‘bread’ which they make themselves rather than the ‘Bread of Life’ which is from heaven. The ‘Bread of Life’ is symbolic terminology for Jesus.

How is it known that mankind has the nature of the Beast? They behave much like the original ‘Beast.’

The apostle John was given a special tour of the future. There, “The beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.” [v]

John did not see some mythological being in the manner of the Greek god, Pan — part man and part human — he saw the nature of the Beast.

Lucifer mimics God in all he does. “I will be like the Most High.” [vi] The Most High LORD GOD has three natures: the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Ghost.

Earlier, it was explained that as the ‘Son,’ Jesus, was not the reproduction of the Father but of the actual Genome of Father God. His genetic identity is the Father. He was the exact glorious Image of God, only with the flesh of a human.

Likewise, the Holy Ghost of Jesus is indeed the phantom Image of Yahweh (Selem in the Hebrew from Gen 1:27). The Holy Ghost must never be blasphemed [vii] because the Holy Ghost is identically God Himself in Spirit form!

Just as God has three substances, so has Lucifer.

Lucifer is the ‘Bringer of Light’ — the light bearing angel. However, Jesus is really the ‘Light of the World’ [viii] Therefore Lucifer is a liar, and He is the ‘Bringer of Darkness.” Light is truth and darkness is deception.

Therefore, the outer appearance of Satan, or Lucifer, would be as the light bearing one, sort of like Jesus was when He was transfigured. Jesus “was transfigured before them: and His face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light” [ix] On that mountain, Jesus revealed to those present just who He was! Yahweh is not Lucifer; He is Jesus! However, as an angel, Lucifer can appear to be the ‘Light of the World,’ albeit he really is the ‘Prince of the Power of the Air’ — the ’Spirit of Disobedience.’ [x]

Lucifer was the Spirit of Disobedience that was in the Garden of Eden. Lucifer is not a ‘Serpent’ but a cunning serpent-like creation. [xi]

When John described the Beast, he described not a mythological Serpent, but a real cunning being, to wit: “like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.”

A leopard is swift. The Beast resembled a panther, not literally a leopard. A panther is not dark spotted like a leopard, but coal black.

Figure 2: Bored Panda; "Panther"

Inwardly, Lucifer is not what Eve saw — an angel of light — but another image, a ‘Nahas’ (Hebrew) that was dark inside. Hence, the Image of God is not a walking man, but a phantom in the shape of a man. Likewise, the Image of Lucifer is not a ‘Serpent,’ as has been translated so often, but darkness within. That is not to imply that Lucifer resembles a panther, or any other animal, but that he has a beastly nature.

One facet of the nature of Lucifer was likened into a panther, a bear, and a lion. However, a ‘dragon’ gave the Beast his power. Rather than accepting the superstition of a dragon, that the original Hebrew needs to define it. Therein, a ‘dragon’ is a monster! (Strong 2006), not specifically a dragon, serpent, or even a whale.

Therefore, the Beast is a creature whose power comes from a monster of some sort. Any monster is a “threatening force” (Merriam-Webster 2023). The image of the Beast in the beginning was a threatening force, not specifically a serpent.

Lucifer said, “I will be like the Most High.” [xii] The ‘Monster’ (Dragon) is Lucifer who alleges to have the Power of God. (He, however, does not because God alone is ‘Almighty.’)

Monsters seem scary in motion pictures, but monsters are just powers. Eve was not afraid of her ‘monster’ and even trusted him. The point herein is that Eve did not have conversation with a Serpent or any scary being at all, but with a threatening power who she saw as non-threatening because he (it) was a beautiful angel.

So many doubt the truth of scripture because they believe that Eve was engaging with a horrific mythological being, but Lucifer was as real as God Himself!

Just as the “Holy Trinity’ is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost and is three substances in One Being, so it is with the ‘Unholy Trinty:’ the Dragon, the Beast, and the False Prophet. John saw Lucifer come undone: “I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.” [xiii]

Those unclean spirits were not like frogs in any manner but their motion. They were spirits; they were invisible substances that were belched from the mouths of the Monster. The Dragon, or Monster, did not have three mouths but three substances just like the Holy Trinity.

Just as Jesus was the ‘Word’ in the Old Testament, the False Prophet is the deceptive word of the dragon.

Jesus was the Good Voice which spoke to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, and the False Prophet whose words came from the mouth of the so-called ‘Serpent.’

The point herein is that Christians are looking for three separate beings to come at the end of days. Perhaps they should be looking for one monstrous being that is a Beast and a spoken thought.

That ‘Monster’ may not be a man at all. He could be an appearance of Lucifer on Earth again, or Lucifer could again shape-shift. All that is for sure is that some alien being, whether man or a creature created by man, will engage us as a friendly agent to deceive us, but inwardly that being will be evil. (The cunning part of that is that Christians are all awaiting a man, but it is just another ‘extant’ being, as the Hebrew word ‘is in Genesis 4:1 implies.

The Image of the Beast is uncertain, but its nature is not! The ‘Antichrist’ will be the Image of the Unholy Trinity Monster. It will be recognized by its works which are the same as evil men (the works of the lost):

The works of the flesh are manifest, which are these: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like. [xiv]

Look around in the world for the Antichrist. He will be very difficult to identify because he will look like everyone else. He may even be in the Church somewhere. He will be just one of the members of the congregation, who outwardly, could be your friend, but inside the Devil just waiting to devour like the lion that he is inwardly. [xv]

It could even be a woman! It could even be transhuman. It will be whatever it takes to deceive, because that is the very nature of the Beast.
