NERO CAESAR
Nero was the imperator who set
fire to Rome and blamed Christians, and the one who persecuted and killed our
Church fathers.
Nero was imperator from 54 AD to 68
AD. He was the last imperator of the Julio-Claudian Dynasty in the Roman
Empire.
With his father dead, imperator Claudius,
was cursed into adopting Nero, and it was him that renamed him, “Nero Claudius
Caesar Drusus Germanicus.”
Nero married his step-sister, and
had his mother, Agrippina, murdered after a staged shipwreck. Soon, Nero had all
his rivals murdered, then banished his wife for trumped-up charges, and then
had her murdered. To rebuild Rome, according to Tacitus, money was required by
Nero, and the people were heavily taxed for his extravagances.
Because of his tyrannical
government and heavy taxation, even his own Pretorian Guard abandoned him. Left
in a deserted palace, Nero could not even find a man with a sword to kill him.
He left the world friendless. Finally, too much of a coward to kill himself, he
enlisted his private secretary to suicide him. In death, he was delivered into
Hell and the people celebrated his death.
In quick succession, there was a period of four imperators. Finally, the somewhat humane Flavian Dynasty arose out of Nero’s ashes. In a sense, Nero caused the House of Flavius to rise as the Julio-Claudian empire fell. It could have been that history that Isaiah foresaw:
Nevertheless, the dimness shall not be
such as was in her vexation, when at the first he lightly afflicted the land of
Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, and afterward did more grievously afflict her
by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, in Galilee of the nations.
The people that walked in darkness have
seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon
them hath the light shined.
For
every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in
blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son
is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be
called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The
Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of his government and
peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to
order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth
even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it
hath lighted upon Israel.
And all the people shall know, even Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria, that say in the pride and stoutness of heart; the bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycomores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars. (Isa 9:1-10)
Isaiah was speaking about the
southern kingdom of Israel (Judea) before the Babylonian exile. However,
knowing that Judah would be destroyed, he foresaw a new government ruled by
Jesus.
Isaiah saw a future empire and
for that to happen, the ancient empire must go. Although the biblical chapter
is about Judea, Judea was a client state of the Roman Empire.
Nero’s Rome was burned down, so
true to the prophecy, and the bricks that he saw were fallen down. That could apply
to both Rome and Jerusalem, but first things first.
Nero, it is believed, burned Rome
himself… the bricks had fallen down. From the ashes of Rome, came the Flavian
Dynasty. That dynasty lasted three generations from father Vespasian, to son
Titus, and lastly to son, Domitian.
Rome was patterned in the manner
of the Holy Trinity with father, son, and another son, Domitian. While Vespasian
was on the throne, both Titus and Domitian acted as Caesar with the sons having
the full authority of the father.
Nero was the “Judas” who sacrificed
himself whereas Vespasian was the father-figure who provided his sons for
prosperity and security. Titus was visible in Judea, even protecting Jerusalem
until the Jews had about destroyed the entire city, then Titus saved a portion
of it.
While Vespasian ruled from Rome,
son Domitian traveled all over Syria guiding his generals with the authority of
a Caesar. Domitian remained very much unseen until he became Caesar himself.
Just as Isaiah foretold, Rome was founded on the zeal of the Lord Himself.
Rome died and was born again. For
what reason? To raise Judea from among the dead. After the Temple was destroyed
under Vespasian, it was by the zeal of the Lord for a new “Temple” was built in
its place: Jesus Himself declared, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I
will raise it up” (John 2:19).
Jesus was accused of being both a
blasphemer and seditious. However, He was not talking about the Temple that would
soon be torn down by the Jews themselves, but that His Body would be restored
in three days. By what? The zeal of the Lord. Jesus was the “Temple” of which
Isaiah wrote, the Temple in Jerusalem has never been rebuilt.
However, another “House” was
built by God. It was a genetic “Flavian House” that would destroy Israel… again
by the zeal of the Lord. The Father had not only sacrificed His Son but “Jacob”
as well. Israel, if your recall, was “Israel.”
The House of Flavius became the
cornerstone of Christianity thanks to Paul’s journeys performing the Great
Commission, and it all started when Nero was suicided so that Rome would rise.
It took several years, but Rome was raised from the dead when Constantine
became the Christian imperator.
Rome became the “New Jerusalem”
on earth. No longer were the priests in Judea but in Rome. By the zeal of the
Lord, Rome arose from its ashes and the ashes were spread all over the known
world. Rome still lives as Christians are born again. Like it or not, it was
the imperfect Catholic Church that spread the good news all over the world. God
most often uses corrupt individuals for his purposes and imperfect churches of
all denominations spread imperfect words for the zeal of the Lord to sort for
us.
So, what has that to do with Nero?
During the persecution of Christians by Roman Emperor Nero, the most well-known figures martyred were Saint Peter and Apostle Paul. Other Christians, including Flavia Demetilla, also suffered martyrdom under Nero. (Ai Overview)
Of course, there were hundreds of
others that were persecuted. In a sense, Nero Caesar attempted to kill Father
God, now that His Son had suffered death Himself. When Nero burned Rome, it was
as if crucifying Christ a second time. Somehow, the crucifixion was a burnt
offering, called a “holocaust” by Josephus. Perhaps the intent was to send Jesus
to the fires of Hell, but instead Judas sacrificed himself for his own sin. That
is blasphemous; he should have Jesus do that Himself.
The point is that just as Rome
suffered the fate of Judea, Judas with Satan in him, was the “zealot” that God
used. To tear down Rome, so that Christ could rebuild, Nero was the zealot that
did the bloody deed. With that said, just as Satan entered Judas because of the
zeal of the Lord, Satan, then without a “house” chose the House of Julio-Claudius.
Nero burned his own “house” just as the Jews burned both their “House” — the
Temple, and the Body of Christ in a holocaust. The point is that anyone who
seeks to destroy God or Christianity is an “Antichrist.”
Just as there is only one Christ,
there is only one Antichrist, but just as Christ appears in different forms, so
does the Antichrist. Judas was the Antichrist, but Satan left him when Judas
gave up the ghost. The ghost (Satan) was surely in Nero, and he certainly was
the Antichrist who had vacated the Temple in Judea and came to a new temple in
Nero.
Neron Caesar (NRN QSR in the Hebrew)
in gematria is certainly the number of the Beast, “666” but with Nero long dead,
it is supposed that another “Nero Caesar” shall be found. Nero means black, vigorous,
or strong. Black should not mean in color, but in deed.
NRN is the Hebrew letters: nun,
resh, nun. Nun is the seed, or sperm, of an organism and resh
is the head. Nun could represent the seeded Garden of God since it is
closed by the two nuns, and right there in the middle of the letters is the
Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, just as in the Garden of Eden.
For whom should we look? The seed
of some long dead person of great authority.
Nero was both imperator (Caesar)
and Pontifex Maximus, “Lord of lords.” We should be looking for someone
who claims that status. Perhaps, Nero will arise in some religious leader that heads
an empire. It will be someone so obvious that he, or it, goes unnoticed.
