THE DYNAMICS OF PRAYER - Part 2 of 2

 QUANTUM ENTANGLEMENT AND PRAYER: 

For prayer to exist, scientifically, “synchronicity” is the experience of two or more events occurring together in a meaningful way, despite having no apparent causal link. The events in the case of prayer are two or more praying. Jesus, for instance, said, “Where two or three are gathered together in My Name, there am I in the midst of them” (Mat 8:20). Two or more is the synchronicity, and the (seemingly) “no causal link” is God right there in the midst of them. Jesus is “God With Us” (Emanuel) whether it is in body or spirit. Prayer, at least on a Jungian scale, is “synchronicity.”

Karl Jung was certainly not a Christian, but he may have accidentally understood “quantum entanglement” before it was theorized. “Quantum” was previously defined, but not “entanglement not, so far. 

Quantum entanglement is a bizarre quantum physics phenomenon where two or more particles become linked, sharing the same fate so that measuring a property (like spin) of one instantly reveals the corresponding property of the other, regardless of the vast distance separating them; a connection Albert Einstein famously called "spooky action at a distance". This connection, essential for quantum computing, communication, and imaging; means entangled particles cannot be described independently, acting as a unified system even across galaxies, providing a resource for secure quantum technologies and revealing fundamental quantum weirdness. (NASA 2025) 

To put that in laymen’s terms, if two things are paired anywhere, even close together, they are paired in the same manner even if moved infinitely apart. They are always one unified system. Hence, a person paired by God is paired with Him even if in different realms at different times for time does not exist between entangled things.

Jesus famously said, “Be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). Why should a Christian be of good cheer? If Christians are truly in synchronicity with God in Spirit, whatever form God takes anytime thereafter, scientifically speaking, they are quantumly entangled as one entity.

Science has demonstrated that if one particle far, far away in the cosmos changes, the particle right here on planet Earth changes with it. That is “science.” However, Jesus is the science: with Him in another realm, He is the same as always.   

Quantum entanglement breaks primarily through “decoherence” which happens when entangled particles interact with their environment (heat, light, other particles, magnetic fields), causing their fragile quantum link to collapse into classical states. The most direct way to force it to "break" is through measurement, which collapses the shared wavefunction, projecting the system into a definite, but now classical, state, destroying the entanglement between them. (Physics Frontier 2025) 

Jesus, as God in the flesh, was always the same. It is not that Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are different existences, but God in three substances and forms (Heb 6:8). God is “immutable” — impossible to change. John wrote about the immutability of God (John 1:1-4) and that Jesus is the alpha and omega; the beginning and the end” (Rev 22:13) reveals that God never changes.

God has always been with us! The problem is that sinful men have scotomas wherein they can’t see the full aspect of God because of the “cancer” of sin before their eyes.

The prophet Ezekiel said about sinful men, “You dwell in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see and see not; they have ears to hear and hear not: for they are a rebellious house” (Ezek 12:2).  It’s not that Jesus (Yeshua) was not with them, but because they had no coherence, they failed to either see or hear Yeshua.

Sinners had become incoherent as sin broke the quantum entanglement, remembering that “When entangled particles interact with their environment, causing their fragile quantum link to collapse into classical states.”

Jesus overcame the world. He never changed, and as such His Quantum Power never collapsed. However, rebellious men and women collapsed the quantum state of entanglement, returning them to the classical state.

With that said, God will never forsake you (Heb 13:5), but you can become incoherent to the will of God when the quantum entanglement is broken due to the attraction of the things of the world. That decoherence comes about because of the senses of the flesh wherein mankind ever since original sin has been quantumly entangled with the Wicked One (John 8:44).

God is always with us but much of the time, we are not with Him! Jesus said, “If you are not with Me, you are against Me" (Luke 11:23). To remain entangled with Jesus, remembering that He is the physical State of God, then we cannot be against Him. Sin is just that.

Prayer tests quantum entanglement. If you are with Him, wanting things His Way, then prayers are answered. If you pray for things that are not His will, then prayers are not answered; the reason for us to pray, “Your will be done, as in heaven, so in earth” (Luke 11:2).

How is quantum entanglement operationalized? Jesus said, “Marvel not; you must be born again” (John 3:7). Natural birth is “shaped in iniquity” as King David wrote about himself (Psalm 51:5). We are all born decoherent. As such, we are “sons of The Beast” (John 8:44) and not “sons of God,” genetically speaking. Rebirth is God changing our nature from above as “born again” means literally.

Adam was created with coherence to God. I believe that is gloriousness: God “breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul” (Gen 2:7).

(Forget nostrils for now. It more so represents Adam’s “two-brains” which only the higher-level animals have.)

Adam had dominion over the animals in lower states (Gen 1:26). That English word, “dominion,” infers quantum entanglement. The Hebrew word rada is “dominion” in English, spelled רָדָה — resh, dalet, hey, meaning beginning, pathway, and God revealed in Substance. Rada seems much the same as English “radiation” where in God radiated His divine Light to Adam, and Adam was light as God is Light. Light is a metaphor for truth: “He that does truth comes into the Light (of God)” (John 3:21).

Adam was enlightened by God whereas God created Adam in truth to pass along truth; God’s idea of “multiplication” (Gen 1:28).

Hence, God from above enlightened Adam and Adam was of the Light of God. In science-speak, that action would be by quantum entanglement, and as such “sons of God” would be those entangled with God in truth. 

Jesus to those Jews which believed on Him, If you continue in My Word, then are you my disciples indeed; and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

They answered Him, “We be Abraham's seed…” (John 8:31-32) 

The Jews had been entangled with Abraham for hundreds of years because they were part of the Abrahamic Covenant. That was not them entangled with God for even the Arabians were entangled with Abraham. Jesus indicated that they must be of His scattered seed who must continue in “My Word.” His Word is not just speech but sayings, or commandments.

To be a disciple, those who follow Jesus would do the Will of Jesus. The Ten Commandments remain the legal Will of God and His Testament.

The Word was crucified of His flesh and with that done, to follow Jesus is a similar crucifixion from the desires of the flesh. To follow Christ is to operationalize the works of Jesus and to do the things that Jesus would do. What was the prime thing that Jesus did? “Being in an agony He prayed more earnestly: and His sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground” (Luke 22:44). His agony was not for Himself, but for the state of mankind that to be remedied, required Him to die for their incoherence.

Those drops of blood would be for what? To wash the ground with His tears. Was He baptizing Adam (the “Ground”) in preparation for spreading His virtue to all who would receive it? Was the agony of Christ Jesus His manner of entangling with all of Adam’s seed?

Paul wrote about the beginning, “The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit” (1 Cor 15:45). Jesus — “the last Adam” — thousands of years later was said to be the Spirit that made Adam a “living soul.”

 When Jesus manifest Himself, despite time, right there, and perhaps in the same Garden, Jesus entangled with Adam who lived there in the beginning. God never changed, but Adam was redeemed by the blood of Jesus on the ground: “Whom God has set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past…” (Rom 3:25).

Those past sins are mankind’s sin because of Adam’s. Jesus entangled with Adam because He overcame sin for Adam and the veil of the Law that covered the eyes of mankind was removed (Mat 27:51).

Adam’s kind could now see God’s three substances in one with the “firmament” penetrated and torn away by the loss of His Powerful blood. His virtue was enough to save Adam and His kind, and with that finished, Jesus rested.

Those who believe, understand, and follow Jesus; despite the world; remain coherent, continuing to follow Jesus. We must watch and pray that we remain coherent (Mat 26:41).

Because of the cunningness of Satan (Gen 1:1), even those who believe in God may stray in the manner of Cain. Even Christians must remain sober and vigilant, or they will be robbed of their entanglement with Christ (1 Pet 5:8). Why must that be done? Because of the temptations of the flesh by the things of the world — the “incoherence” that can break the entanglement.

God was silent for 400 years before Jesus was made manifest. It is not that He was deaf and dumb but because of the incoherence even of people of Abraham’s Covenant. He was not silent; they just failed to hear and see what God was doing.

God did much in those intervening years, but answers to their prayers remained unheard. What was God doing in those years of silence? Preparing the way for Jesus (Isa 40:3). They had been expecting the Messiah, and in both their prosperity and trials, forgot all about the Messiah. “The Law” had become their “Jesus.”

They had prayed for the Messiah for years, but the Jews forgot all about the promise. God was listening but they were deaf to His Way of answering. Why? Because the world had distracted them from the things of God. They had become incoherent to the Quantum Power of God.

God was communicating, but there was no reception; that is the decoherence. Satan had indeed become “the prince of the power of the air” (Ephes 2:2). God is never silent; it’s just that sin overshadows His works even as He answers prayer.

The Jews still prayed as they were required to do. They still went to the Temple to learn about God, but they only heard the Law and not love. Love is the Law (John 14:15).

Albeit love is the Law, the religious Pharisees followed the Law, but they lost God on the way. Religion made the Jews decoherent to salvation (Yesua in the Hebrew). “Salvation” was made manifest and their prayers were answered, but out of ignorance, they failed to see their precious Yesua (the word for Salvation in the Hebrew). They were blind and deaf to The Word of God although He spoke forcefully. Jesus was the answer to their prayer and to this day, they cannot see that. It is the truth, but they cannot see the truth.

Prayer is “the spooky action at a distance” that cannot be seen or even understood, but it remains true as its mechanics reveal. Now about everyone believes the science, but using the same evidence, they cannot see the spooky action of prayer.

That the work of God parallels the known science would have bothered me, but now it reinforces my belief in God. It is the “shadow” removed from the doubt that I had before.

There is a mystery of God (Col 2:2) and quantum theory may reveal some of that mystery; for it has for me. Now, I understand prayer and that it is heard. I understand that only those “in Christ” (2 Cor 5:17) have their prayers heard.  The restored sight of one blind man revealed the importance of entanglement: 

The man answered and said unto them, “Why herein is a marvelous thing, that you know not from whence He is, and yet He has opened mine eyes. Now we know that God hears not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and does His will, him he hears.” (John 9:30-31) 

Sinners are those who have not been born again — literally entangled from (God) above (Strong 2006). For God to “hear” (act on) prayers, they must be in the will of God that is the outcome of entanglement.

Why are prayers not answered? Because your will is not in synchronicity with the Divine Will of God. The world has made you incoherent to the Will of God by the offerings of the things of the world, just as science says as well.

According to quantum theory, entanglement is without regard to either time or distance. That explains the synchronicity between those in Christ and Christ Himself. It also explains why there is power when even more Christians pray who are in accord with each other and Christ (Acts 2:1).

Because the people of Jerusalem were each in accord with Jesus, their eyes were opened, and their mutual belief in Jesus revealed to them that the Holy Ghost is as much God as Jesus. Because they were quantumly entangled with Jesus, they all saw the same Holy Ghost of the Person of God.

Jesus seemed to be gone, but sincere quantum entanglement revealed even the quickening Spirit of God was still here — the mighty wind and the tongues of fire of God soon revealed the Power of God to be the same as the Holy Ghost of Jesus.

Hope and pray, it is said. Those who followed Jesus had done that and the revelation of the Holy Ghost was the action of “The Book of Actions.” Jesus was gone but He was still here in Spirit and Truth. If you can understand that, then prayer is not distant nor for another time, but prayer brings Jesus from another realm to right here in real time!

Satan would want you to believe that your prayers are futile and that God is both deaf and dumb. If you believe that, then perhaps you are. To truly believe in Jesus is to trust that your prayers are heard. To provide decoherence, what would Satan do? Distract you with the things of the world and even have you believe that God does not hear your prayers.

THE DYNAMICS OF PRAYER - Part 1

Different people prayed to each other, but the first example in the Bible of praying to God was with Abraham who did so:

So, Abraham prayed unto God: and God healed Abimelech, and his wife, and his maidservants; and they bare children. (Gen 20:17)

Abimelech would not have children because of incest. God closed the woman’s womb to the seed of Abimelech. Abraham prayed to God, not just any person or thing, and God healed them of their sins, and her womb was receptive to Abimelech’s seed. The seed was fertilized, grew in her now fertile womb, and she bare children.

Note several things: nothing was happening, Abraham prayed, and it happened. The request was not frivolous, the prayer was with sincere faith because it was Abraham (Rom 4:16; how faith is measured), and lastly, the prayer resulted in action on behalf of God.

So, prayer was not answered either mentally or verbally but by results. What is missed, sometimes if it is not the will of God, there would be no action taken by God on behalf of Abraham.

The model prayer that Jesus prayed included this: “Your kingdom come; Your will be done in earth, as it is in Heaven.” (Mat 6:10). To pray effectively, the will of God must be considered. To pray for something that would not be the will of God is futile; therefore, the will of God must be known. That requires some type of matching of the wills of man and God; in this case, it was Abraham and God who were matched for it to happen.

It is known that Abimelech was not in the will of God, so his prayer would have been futile; hence prayer requires a matching of the wills. The thoughts of any person praying must be the Thoughts of God; in this case Abraham’s thoughts; their wills had to be aligned. Abraham desired that life be given, and God surely had the same idea in mind.

Abraham had some type of relationship with God to approach Him. He was not just a passer-by who as a last resort called on God for actions. Abraham had great confidence in God for he never turned to something else first, always going to God first.

Something had happened to Abraham. Indeed it had, because God changed him from mere “Abram” to “Abraham” adding the Hebrew letter hey to his name. God breathed love unto Abram.

Abram understood the difference between motionless gods, and the living God. Too many times, when people pray, they go elsewhere first, as those before Abraham had… they said, “I pray you…” not “I pray God”!

First, we’ll examine prayer. The notion is that there is communication between the person praying and God. Let’s see if that aligns with the Hebrew notion of “pray” — palal. Prayer is asking God to intervene about some issue requiring judgment (Strong 2006).

Children could not be conceived, so Abraham prayed to God that He intercede. God judged the matter worthy, not because they deserved children, but because Abraham asked. He trusted God whether anybody else did or not. The prayer was answered, not because they deserved it, but because of the faith of Abraham; hence it was by grace.

Now you will learn how to interpret a few Hebrew pictographs for literal meanings.

Upon further exploration, prayer has a literal meaning: פָּלַל. The first letter (right to left) is pev. Its pictograph is a mouth, so it has something to do with speech or communication of some sort. The double letter lamed implies something in palal, as it is not commonly used in spelling Hebrew words. It conveys the double “L” sound. Hence, the sound from one to another.

The pictograph of the letter lamed is a shepherd’s hook, which implies several things: (1) to/from, (2) to teach and to learn, (3) and possibly two-way communication. However, there is a fourth factor that might be missed: (4) About the Law of Love, “On these two commandments hang (lamed) all the law and the prophets” (Mat 22:40). Hence, palal implies that the will of God is essential, and that the double lamed means that the will of the person praying must be the will of whom the person prays.

The double lamed seems to purvey the notion that God leads and the person praying must follow. Follow what? God’s Will is revealed by the Law. The prayer request must be lawful. The Law, as Jesus indicates, hung on the Law of Love — The Greatest Commandment.

It was asked of Jesus about the greatest Law. Jesus replied with two: (1) to love God, and (2) to love others. That coincides with the basic tenets of the Law grouped 1-4 and 5-10, respectively. The double lamed may imply those two loves as one.

Abraham revealed love for Abimelech, so that passed the second part, and He turned to God which satisfied the first part of the Law of Love. The Greatest Commandment is not singular but two commandments. That does explain the double lamed quite well, does it not?

If that is true, then for prayer to be answered, there must be love for both God and others. Abraham met that criteria. His prayer, to be answered, hung on the Law.”

It has always bothered me that Jesus put the love of God and the love of others into one Law. The word palal (prayer) has now revealed why that may be so — prayer must be because both God is loved, and also the person who prays loves those for whom he prays.

“Praise” means to “highly esteem.” High estimation is the concept of love. Prayer is communication (supplication, asking, talking), while praise is adoration (celebrating who God is and what He has done or has the power and authority to do.).

Prayer is a way of adoring God, and if the adoration is sincere, then He adores in return. The person praises God by turning to Him first, and God expresses gratitude by judging the bequest sincere and according to His will, or not.

Divine love is expressed by adoration and what better way to adore God than going to Him first, not after all other modes fail. Nothing is too hard for God, and since God has saved Abram from the fire of Ur, Abraham knew that. Abraham going to God first was a way for him to show gratitude for what God had already done for him, then He could do such things for others. Abraham’s faith had a secondary purpose; to demonstrate to sinners that God was real and powerful compared to the idols of Terah that were lifeless.

The God of Abraham provided life in dead places, whereas the gods of Shinar could do nothing.

Abraham and God had acted as one entity. Abraham prayed and God answered, not by words, but by actions. If his request had been against the will of God (The Law) then the answer would have been silence. Between the Old and New Testament times there were 400 years of silence wherein God did not communicate with mankind. In other words, they did not pray to Him, so He withheld His resources. God was there but remained silent because His people either did not pray or were not His People.

God revealed His will during the exodus as they could either choose Him or not; “I will walk among you, and will be your God, and you shall be My people” (Lev 26:2). God, as Yeshua (Jesus) would walk among them, and some of them would be God’s people. God was revealing Jesus to the Israelites. but the 400 years of silence is because they were not His people.

God’s will was to covenant with them. They need not do anything but be His people (i.e., to adore Him in love).

Now for “The Greatest Commandments” from The Old Covenant: 

•       "You shall love the Lord thy God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might” (Deut 6:5).
•    “He stranger that dwells with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and you shall love him as yourself; for you were strangers in the land of Egypt” (Lev 19:13). 

Jesus was not saying anything new. The Greatest Commandment was always what the Law hung on. Love is the bind that holds us together in the will of God.

The Hebrew word translated “love” is ‘ahab: אָהַב. The first letter, El, is the Power of God. El (from aleph) is spelled אלף. Hence, the first letter of ‘ahab indicates spreading (pev) the power (aleph) of God from on high (lamed).

The second letter in ‘ahab is “hey,” meaning that love is God-breathed; and not surprising the letter bet represents the “House of God” — Yeshua (Jesus). Hence, Jesus is indeed the mediator between God and mankind: “There is one God, and one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” (1 Tim 2:5). To reach God, the Christian must go to Jesus to communicate in prayer.

Love is that baffling dynamic that entangles man and God. Somehow God breathed love unto Adam and his woman, and sin exhumed it. 

Love is power scattered from God to whosoever will receive it (John 3:16). Love is not an emotion but a dynamic gift from God. God must breathe love unto a person for him or her to become a Christian.

The love that Jesus felt leave to heal the woman with the blood issue is virtue (dynamis in the Greek; Mat 5:25-34). Love is the Dynamic of God — the aleph in the word ‘ahab. When “El” is translated “God” that is virtue that He is spreading — the love of God. There must be mutuality between God and man, and between God and Abraham. He was his God and Abraham one of His people to have prayer answered.

“The LORD is far from the wicked, but He hears the prayer of the righteous" (Prov 15:29). Another way of saying that is, “God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshipper of God and does His will, He hears him."  (John 9:31).

For God to “hear” (perhaps listen is better said), the prayer must be righteous — those who are not wicked and under the Law of God. The “righteous” are those who love God. Abraham and God were united in love to the extent that Abraham trusted God over anyone else. It would have been sacrilege if he had prayed to anyone else or dumb idols.

Love, if I am correct, is very quantum-like. In physics, a “quantum” is “a discrete quantity of energy proportional in magnitude to the frequency of the radiation it represents” (AI Overview).

Radiation is scattering. God is the very discrete quantity of energy (El Saday) — Almighty God. God created, indubitably from Himself. He would have radiated all things from His quantum of energy — His almightiness. [1]

Of course, God is not quantum mechanics, or even science, but the author of all things scientific. As such, I will use quantum mechanics to reveal God, His love, and prayer. (More on that soon.)

ALL ABOUT LOVE

Many theologians have preached on the concept of love but still struggle with the idea of it. To explain divine love, they generally do so by dissecting eroticism, brotherly, and familia love; of which are senses of belonging sexually, as a fellow human, and membership from a common patriarch. Then they turn to the Greek word “agape” to help in understanding.

Jesus was asked which was the greatest commandment; His answer was this:

 

Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

Jesus said unto him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind; this is the first and great commandment.

And the second is like unto it, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets” (Mat 22:36-40)

 

There are two metrics therein: self-love (part 2) and divine love (part 1).

Note that it does not say you must first love yourself to love others.

Self-love is a given and is instinctive. Even animals seek to preserve themselves from death, don’t they? Self-love seems to be the desire to never die — to exist forever.

In fact, even salvation is a form of self-love; to survive both in the world and thereafter.

Regardless of the pain here, most people would hang onto life. (Suicide may be, not an act of giving up, but ending whatever pain that torments the mind of people.)

That is not just an opinion but a biblical truth:

 

Ought men to love their wives as their own bodies? He that loves his wife loves himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord the church; for we are members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones. (Ephes 5:28-30)

 

The standard of love is our own flesh. With that said, flesh is of the world, so it would not be of the Kingdom of God.

The fleshes of people are for life in the world. Once the world is given up, flesh will be of little importance. The “flesh” that you love so much… it will be given up for new flesh. Strangely how so many hang onto and cherish the flesh even as they pull the trigger.

The flesh is a sensory organ. It is the flesh that must be adorned and appeased for way too many people. For instance, consider tattoos and such; they are ways to adorn the flesh. Tattoos are a metric of how much love there is for both art and the “biblia” on which it is written.

For thousands of years pictures were drawn on vellum — the dried skin of calves. Now pictures are drawn on human vellum and left to dry.

The point is that humans love their flesh and find ways to glorify it. Some do so with ink and such while others are less brave, each morning applying whatever rouge and mascara it takes to glorify the flesh.

We all do that; and selfies prove it! Makeup, whether temporary or permanent, are types of selfies.

Paul also defined hatred: those who do not cherish and nourish the flesh. His point was there is no such person! In the same manner, those who love others must cherish and nourish their flesh — their very basic human existence.

“The Jewish Problem” is not that Jews are not human, but that those who hate them, in their hearts, souls, and minds; hate God. You cannot hate others and still love God. That is why those two commandments because us and Jesus should be members of the same body — the Church.

(I rest my case; in general, most humans love their own flesh).

The nature of human beings is to despise others beyond their own members: families, nations, ethnicities, and such.

Scripture does not address hating the cultures of others, but hating those within any culture is unlawful. Like the animals we are, those similar but different than ourselves are suspect and threatening. Indeed, the survival of the fittest is in mankind as well as the animal kingdom. Foolish people often diminish others. As such, most races are racists because each cherishes their own flesh and their means of nourishing it is to diminish others.

Jews, for instance, have been persecuted for millennia. For Christians and Muslims, to elevate themselves; it is easier to denigrate Jews. It is easier to deface others than to improve yourselves.

Christianity is about advancing everyone for God has a room for all who come to Him:

 

…the Son of man be lifted up; that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life, for God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:14-17)

 

In that passage, God defined His own divine love: Whosever believes in Jesus should never perish. Love is therefore for everyone who chooses to be of the family of God; all have the right to The Tree of Life (Gen 3:24) if they trust Jesus for salvation. That is what God wants and to be of like mind of God; Christians must also want than none should perish.

Hence, Christians must never hate any human being because God sees them all as “worthy,” not as they are, but what they can be. He sees the golden opportunity to regenerate them from whatever ethnicity that they are into the Christian ethnic wherein all are welcome.

Christians, do you not find it easier to love people who are much different than yourselves if you know they are Christians? It is much easier to love Christians because you are all members of His body just as Paul wrote.

However, God is less discriminating for He knows that anyone (“whosoever”) can be Christians. A good example was Christ’s worst enemy Saul; a member of “whosoever” that God changed into the Christian martyr, Paul.

Jesus corrected His followers saying, “Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you” (Mat 5:44). He practiced what He preached, and Saul is evidence of that!

Did Jesus like the idea that Saul was a murderer as well as His own adversary? No; God chose the one who hated Him the most, knowing that as a zealot, Saul could love Him the most. Are you a zealot for Him? If not, then perhaps you should be. Paul’s turn from hatred demonstrated love and soon he would turn his hatred for Christians into love for them.

So, you are a Christian! Good for you, but how about others? Paul went into the world, perhaps even as far as England as some say.

How far will you go for Christ. That distance is somewhat a measure of your love for Christ and others. Why go unto the world as Jesus commanded: “Go you into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15). Every creature includes more than your household or community. It means more than preaching in a church building. YOU must go where the other creatures are, even those much different than yourselves. Hence, missionary trips are honorable ways to love, but you can go to them even without going to them in person. Now you can travel the world with social media and financial support. If you can’t preach, others can with your financial support. (My way of going into the world is this blog and my books.)

Note that Jesus came to Saul, not to get just Saul, but to get to the world through Saul. Jesus calls you, not just to get you, but to get others, even your enemies. Sharing that passion is true love; that you must want that others should not perish, just as for yourself, you must want that none should perish.

Saul had crazy ideas — that Christians were so different that he wanted them dead. Jesus changed Saul for afterward Paul desired that none should perish and even gave his own life (as a martyr) that others have opportunity to live forever.

Paul traded his proud flesh to save others. He was humbled, as the name “Paul” means and in the end, he humbly went to his own cross for Jesus so that others need not. He was not Jesus, but his flesh no longer belonged to Satan either.

Love is not emotional; it is empathetic: “The action of understanding, being aware of, being sensitive to, and vicariously experiencing the feelings, thoughts, and experience of another” (Merriam-Webster 2023). Love is a mindset not just a whim. Sympathy is emotional (sadness), but empathy is caring. Therefore, divine type of love is a mindset.

Why to be “mean” to people who are not Christians? Their souls are worth offending them. Of course, you don’t have to be mean-spirited, but the first try is with love. You can love sinners into Christianity but sometimes love hurts.

To save the souls of the lost is worth offending their flesh. Whatever animal instinct that they have must feel pain. True contrition is when you finally find yourself offensive. How do I realize that I am offensive? God told me that I am. To love God, you must know that you offend God. Sin is essentially offending God, and the Gentleman that He is, He made allowances for offensive humans. That is grace.

How would you ever know that you offend God? By sinning. Each time a person sins, it offends God.

Demonstration of love is measurable — by how much we either offend God or not. So, you do not sin? Do you thank God for anything, let alone in all things? If not, that offends God. Thanking God (praying or praise) does not offend God. How often do you pray to praise Him? True, you pray for things for yourself and your loved ones, but all but forgotten are the unloved. Love is caring enough for the eternal lives of others that you chance offending them.

Get over the idea that love is emotional. Sure, when you think about cruelty to Jesus that is emotional. But if you are not an emotional person, empathy will do. Put yourself in His place… feel His pain and agony that he had for YOU! Jesus did not agonize for Himself, but for all mankind, the centurion who pierced Him, and even those who mocked Him. He even died for Judas — His old friend who turned enemy — but Judas defected. If he had only waited for Jesus to make the sacrifice, his suicide was in vain. You cannot justify yourselves because Jesus alone can do that!

Emotions come from your own feelings. They cannot be forced, although some fake it well, as my grandson often proved.

Jesus provided a simple way: “If you love me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15). What are His commandments? To love Him and others! The Law, He said, hung on those commandments.

The first four commandments are ways to demonstrate love for God and the last six are ways to demonstrate love for others. They are not “commandments” at all but things you are willing to do to express love. The Jews never realized that! They were not things a believer must do, but the way people empathize with God and others. Hence, love is cognitive, so shed those fake tears. Prove your love by taking the commandments seriously.

Now perhaps you are mad at me. Maybe you have been tattooed or wear too much makeup. Perhaps you spend too much time on your appearance while neglecting how you appear to God.

All of our fleshes have been altered. All the hearts of all mankind have been hardened against God. Even King David’s heart was shaped in iniquity (Psalm 51:5) but he knelt to God, and it was remolded.

You cannot alter what has been done but can whatever it is that you are doing. Only God can soften the heart, but it must be presented to Him as a living sacrifice for the hardness to be removed. So, you love God? Do you love others? Not tolerate but love them enough that you will risk offending them.

The first step is to come to understand that you do offend God by what you both think and do. Not doing things is a good start but thinking (remembering the pleasure) will “harden the flesh” as Lot’s wife demonstrated.

Love allows God to soften the heart one day at a time. His Spirit is the “tenderizer” that really works if used with love.

ABOUT LOVE

 

EXPERIENCE OF LOVE: I felt left out from Christianity because I never had a peak experience. I always believed in love, but real love seemed beyond my reach. God was more to me a strict governor than He was a Father to me.

 

LOVE IS HARD WORK: The hardest work ever assigned is what? Making a marriage work? Following the strict rules of God? Or how about exercising… exercising? Yes, exercising!

 

WHAT LOVE IS:

The first incidence of love is when Abraham was to take his son, Isaac, to Mount Moriah to sacrifice him by fire. That was father/son love.  

 

That type of love pertains to all the different types of love of which eroticism, friendship, familial, and appetite are included.

 

THE NOTION OF LOVE:

The Chaldeans perhaps provided the best definition — “to produce fruit.” Indeed, Isaac was the fruit that God produced. Isaac, his son was a type of Jesus, and he was as if he was the fruit produced by Abraham.)

 

If you read closely, since Sarah was barren and Abraham laughably impotent. Isaac was the son of God but to Abraham, Isaac was his own son that he would be required to sacrifice.

 

Abraham was about to do so; why? Because he loved God so much. How was he to demonstrate love? By sacrificing the fruit of his bosom. (Note that may apply to Paradise as in the bosom of Abraham; Luke 16).

 

Love was hard work for Abraham, to the extent that Abraham was in such agony, that God provided a substitute to alleviate the emotional pain of Abrahm.

 

ENTANGLEMENT: (Born again)

“Entanglement” includes the production of fruit just as love does. The fruit (entanglement) is a likeness without regard to time nor distance. Real love is there regardless of those two things. True love does not wane even in death.

 

Abraham’s love for God was some manner of spiritual “entanglement.” Isaac was the son of God and so was Abraham. They both were entangled with God because Abraham was the son of God and so was Isaac.

 

Abraham had previously been named Abram. God did a good work in him, and he became a new person.  The “entanglement” is that both Abraham and Isaac were entangled with God.  

 

“Love” is an entanglement with anything; whatever it may be. Indeed, the loss of a child reveals just how entangled the fruit of the womb makes us. Entanglement is not what we do but the action of God in us.

 

Isaac was God doing good work in Sarah to produce “fruit” for Abraham.

 

LOVE IS NOT EMOTIONAL:

Abraham got emotional about God because of the grace of God but the exercise of love was the action. Abraham revealed “tough love” because he was ready and willing to sacrifice His only remaining son.

 

Dietrich Bonhoeffer wrote about “cheap grace.”

Cheap grace is the preaching of forgiveness without requiring repentance, baptism without church discipline. Communion without confession. Cheap grace is grace without discipleship, grace without the cross, grace without Jesus Christ, living and incarnate…

In my words from that quote is that cheap grace is accepting the sacrifice of God of His “Son” with ingratitude. The “ingratitude” is failure to love God for taking our sins onto the Cross. Christ did a good work in us Christians, but so many fail to demonstrate appreciation.  

 

Works, or discipline, are not payment to God for His due, but gratitude for His good work.

 

LOVE IS ACTION:

Jesus said, “If you love me, keep my commandments” (John 14:15).

 

Jesus did not say, If you love me cry alligator tears or feel thumping in your chest!

 

LOVE IS GOODWILL:

GOOD THOUGHTS

 

He said to do things… keep my commandments. Therefore, doing the will of God is operationalizing love. Keeping His commandments is not doing things!

 

COMMANDMENTS:

Commandments are the will of God.

 

Abraham and the Hebrews were chosen (entangled) with God, “Because Abraham obeyed My Voice, and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws” (Gen 26:5).

 

Abraham demonstrated his love for God. What had God done for him? Saved him from the fire in Nimrod’s furnace by making him incorruptible (Book of Jasher). Abram put his faith in action. He withstood the holocaust of the fiery furnace.

 

Would you walk into the fire for God? Someday you may have to make that decision.

The fire for Abram was a test of love. He said he had faith, but did he? He performed for God the hard thing to do. Abram walked into the fiery furnace to “save” God, but it was God who saved him! That was love.

 

THE WILL OF GOD:

It is obvious, but you probably missed it — the Old Testament is “The Last Will and Testament” of God to divide His Estate. Knowing that so many were excluded from His will, the New Testament is the “codicil” — a supplement to the Old Will of God.

 

The Bible is the Will of God and those who love Him by doing His Will are rightful heirs and in the family of God. The “Estate” is in the realm of heaven and there He has prepared a place for us out of love.

 

God loves us even though we are no longer in His Image. He loves us because He entangled our kind with Himself in the beginning, so without regard to distance or time, God remains entangled with us in a bond of love because even though we are evil, he wants us back. That is true love, and the prodigal son a good example of that.

 

Love is ignoring what we were but how we are. The only time that matters is where we stand with God the moment we die. Love is God’s readiness to forger all the evil that we have done in exchange for

None of the things prior to death will save us; it is whether we are entangled with God before we breath the last breath. That is because of this: “God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

 

Love is that God ignores our behaviors and focuses only on our entanglement and love for Him. His love for us is grace — undue merit. Our love for Him is because He has grace for us.

 

God operationalized His love for us in that he died so that we would never perish. The crucifixion was the love of God in action. He actually died for us whereas all we need to do is to crucify the desires of our fleshes: “They that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts” (Gal 5:24).

 

“Born again” is essentially showing love of God by crucifying our wicked flesh to demonstrate our love for Him. Will it hurt? It is hard work, but it is merely a change of heart. Those who crucify the hardness of the heart belong to God. Cheap grace will not suffice; we must give to God our flesh, as if it is not even there. EVEN CHRISTIANS DO NOT UNDERSTAND CHRIST

Generally, Christians do not know what they are talking about, so how would the non-Christian? They indeed are lost!

Christians rattle off biblical quotes until they become clichés. Of course, “God loves you,” is said often without the declarer understanding what love is even about. To many, love is love, just as the “woke” crowd believes. Strangely, love is not love as God defines it. However, the concept of love has been covered often and people still do not understand it.

Probable the best concept of love is from John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

First off, who is the “world’? It is literally the cosmos. God loves what He has made and that includes objects, souls, and beings of all sorts. Foremost, God loves the souls of some people; those who trust Him. It is not that he has no empathy for the “lost” but that they deserve what is important to them. “The wages of sin is death” (Rom 6:23), so sinners get their rightful payment. Sinners are justly rewarded for their actions and thoughts.

James, the brother of Jesus, helped with that concept, “Wherefore lay apart all filthiness receive with meekness the engrafted Word, (in italics that which follows): which is able to save your souls” (Jas 1:21).

John wrote the conditions for salvation. The person must believe (pisteuo) in Him. People fail to understand what belief even means. — to have trust in something. Demons believe in God but trust Lucifer rather than God (Jas 2:19).

Believing in Jesus from rebirth to death — “…he that endures to the end shall be saved” — is saving faith. Hence faith is dynamic; and it is trusting God until the end. “Born again” is the moment in time when any sinner first believes, to wit: “…now is our salvation nearer than when we believed” (Rom 13:11), or better said, first trusted God for salvation of the soul.

Hence, the love of God is conditional but also unconditional in the sense that the free will that God endowed everyone with allows them to either choose eternal life or to reject it. Each person must decide whether they trust themselves for salvation, or God, all the while knowing that they have no power to save themselves. So irrationally, they reject God because they fail to believe that there is a resurrection of the faithful.

God is impartial; doing good things to gain His favor (works) does not bias the “Judge” who knows what is in the mind of the person. God detects sin by both thoughts and actions. James revealed the actions: “…lay apart all filthiness receive with meekness the engrafted Word.” Laying apart is the action and meekness the right thinking.

Martin Luther rejected that notion and sought to eliminate the Book of James as biblical canon.

Canon are the sacred books that are the genuine Word of God. Luther believed in sola gratia (by grace alone); so do most Christians. However, “works” are the evidence of gratitude for His Grace. Being engendered by God (born again) is made like God, or as many say without knowing what it means, “in Christ.” If anyone does not have the “engrafted Word” in them, they are not in Christ and their souls shall not be saved, as James rightfully acknowledged.

To understand what “in Christ” means, consider the “Word engrafted” within you. The “Word” is the actions of God, what He thinks, says, and does. It is the “Dynamic” of God that is in the Christian. Dynamics are just actions but in the case of those in Christ who are engrafted (entangled) with Him, they are good works, or “virtue,” and are also of the mind.

In this case, “entanglement” is like God but not God. Christians are not Christ but like Christ in their actions. We do come short of being like Christ!

Like the blind man who received his sight because of faith in the Christ, “Jesus said unto him, ‘Go your way; your faith has made you whole. And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus in the Way” (Mark 10:52). The blind man who had just sat there became “whole;” he was engrafted with the Genome of God in a spiritual sense (“born again”). He had trusted Jesus one time, but once he saw that he was restored, out of gratitude, the once blind man followed Jesus in the Way — on the journey that Jesus was going. Where did the journey of Jesus end? On Calvary. The blind man may have not been at the crucifixion, but Jesus was crucified for him because of his faith.

The once blind man was to follow Jesus, not for just that day, but for the entire journey to his death, just as Jesus made his journey to His.

The journey for the blind man was the same journey for any follower of Jesus, “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me” (Mat 16:24). “Now” is any time on the journey and as Christians go the Way of Jesus, the journey leads to salvation, just as Paul wrote to the Roman Christians.

Since enduring to the end is the crucifixion of the body, the soul is saved once the person dies. Of course, Christians are to die to the world, but that would mean that they all become ascetics, giving up the world. That is “legalism,” or salvation by works.

At death, just what is saved?

The body returns to the dust from which it came, just as God says (Gen 3:19). The body of man (Adam) was made in Genesis part two. His soul was made before the foundation of the world, perhaps in the realm of heaven in Paradise, before the world was made in part two.

The soul of Adam was the invisible image that was like God but not God. The soul of mankind has the same substance as the Substance of God.

Like God, the soul is immortal. It can be compared to the Holy Ghost of Jesus; the human soul is immaterial but in the shape of a man (Luke 3:22). Although it cannot be seen under normal conditions the ghost of a Christian can be seen by its action. When Jesus was baptized, the Holy Ghost was seen by its movement onto Jesus in as wave-pattern like a dove would glide.

Christians cannot walk one way and the soul another way. They must walk together until death do them part.

The most important case of overcoming that parameter in the world was the event when the Body of Jesus went one way, and the Ghost of Jesus went another way. Jesus overcame the world because that was impossible theretofore. Now, because Jesus went one way in person and His Ghost went another way, Christians can do that as well!

Jesus was providing hope to His followers when He said, “Be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). Because He could defy death, so can His followers… if they follow Him to their end when their bodies go one way (to the grave) as their souls are saved as they glide into another realm with ease.

Salvation is not physical. It is the soul that is saved from torments. All souls are immortal; the choice is where the person spends eternity. “Love,” then is God’s desire that the soul never perishes, just as John 3:16 indicates.

God truly desires that the body die, and Paul wanted his to die as well; he said, “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain” (Phil 1:21).

“Salvation” (soteria) is at death when the soul separates from the body and goes a different way. For Paul, it was gain because he was in Christ. If not in Christ, then the “gain” is the pain of torments. Paul did endure to the end and then suffered decapitation, according to legend. Why was that gain to him? Because he was entangled with Christ and would go where Christ had gone!

Many say with enthusiasm, “I got saved today!” Not so! They began to trust Jesus for salvation which should come if they remain faithful. (The unfaithful do not enter Paradise but Hell.)

 Whether they trust Him to the end is up to themselves since they are sealed by God (2 Cor 1:22). God will never leave nor forsake them, but they, again, are not God nor even gods. They can freely leave and forsake God as they want (Heb 6:6). God does not imprison them but puts a “garden” (gan; hedge) about them as Satan accused God of doing for Job. God keeps them safe, but as with Job, safety to the end was how far Job would trust in God. He trusted God all the way to the end!

So, God loves you so that He desires that you never perish. In other words, God has so much “goodwill” for you that your soul is indispensable in the eternal scheme of things. He will keep you “safe” (sozos in the Greek), but salvation occurs the moment that the end comes for you.

For most, the dead will rise in Christ, but for a blessed few, the living will be raised while alive (Thes 4:16-17). Only those living in Christ when Christ returns will have their bodies saved. All those already dead in Christ will be regenerated from the dust from which they came. God, indeed, can raise dry bones and put onto them tallow and flesh as He proved long ago (Ezek 37).

Your person will not be saved. You will not look like the ugly person that you are within. The human body is not the glorious body that Adam had. The flesh that you wear so proudly is at most temporary flesh that you wear (Gen 3:17) to keep you safe until the resurrection when those in Christ will have a genesis in the same manner as Adam and shall also be glorified.

Christians are blessed. The two glorious creatures, not Adam and Lucifer, but Adam and the woman Adam, were meant to be like God in mind and spirit. They failed God in mind, so their spirit was made devoid of their glorious flesh. The mind goes with the spirit wherever it goes since virtue is the dynamic (dynamis) of God.

Either way you go, your mind goes with the soul; somehow, just as Lazarus and the rich man went their separate ways but each retained their mental faculties (Luke 16).

So far, hopefully you understand love, rebirth, the soul, and the end; perhaps even trust and faith, but do you understand sin and glorification? That will be revealed next.

THE REVEALING ON THE MOUNTAIN

Moses and Elijah were on the mountain where Jesus was about to be transfigured, or as the last commentary related, metamorphosed. The Invisible Image of God overshadowed them all three: Moses, Elias, and Jesus.

Peter suggested that they build three tabernacles for them. Jesus disregarded Peter’s suggestion without comment, but the next activity was the ‘Voice’ saying, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear you Him” (Mat 17:5). Only one tabernacle was necessary, and Jesus would identify Himself as the Temple of the Holy Ghost that would arise once Herod’s Temple perished. (That occurred in AD 70, not by Titus as it is believed, but by the zealous Jews, as Jospehus wrote.)

Jesus then said to them, “Tell the vison to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead” (Mat 17:9).

Peter seemed to think that Elias and Moses had been raised from the dead, but not so; the two were indeed talking to Jesus as if they were alive. Jesus called it a ‘vision’ in verse nine. However, vision is just one translation. It was not an imaginary picture, but they really did see Elias and Moses; however, they too were ‘glorious’ — of another substance — and subsequently disappeared just as Jesus would do on the Emmaus walk.

Jesus asked that none of the apostles who were there reveal what they had seen (verse 9).

After much thought, I wrote years ago that Moses’s appearance was so that he could finally see the Face of God, in that never before had he seen it, but only the backside of Yahweh.

Upon making the tablets of stone, obviously to write upon them the Commandments, “And the Lord descended in the cloud, and stood with him (Moses) there, and proclaimed the Name of the LORD” (Exod 34:5). That was long ago.

Moses appeared to Moses in a cloud to proclaim the Name of the Lord — the ‘Sem’ of ‘Yehova’ in the Hebrew. The ‘Name’ wrote the Commandments on stone, to wit: “And the Lord delivered unto me (Moses) two tables of stone written with the finger of God…” (Deut 9:10), or by his hand.

As it turns out, the Image of God on Earth is Christ, called ‘Jesus’ (Mat :25). Jesus is the theophoric Name of God, ‘Ya Preserves.’

The location of the Mount of Transfiguration was not revealed in scripture, but many believe that Jesus met Moses on Mt. Sinai, where they had met before. That does make sense! Why so?

He came to Moses that day the same way that He came so many hundreds of years before. In both cases the LORD GOD came in a bright cloud. In the first case, the LORD came to Moses to proclaim the Name of Himself and did the same thing on the Mount of Transfiguration. Moses came for the final revealing of the Name before the Name was put to death. The Name of the Lord, once called ‘Jesus’ was shown to be the LORD GOD, as it had been all the time.

The angel had told Mary that her son “shall be called the Son of the Highest” (Luke 1:32). The LORD GOD came to the Mount of Transfiguration for what reason? To proclaim Jesus as “My beloved Son” (verse five). The LORD GOD revealed to Moses the Name that He chose for Himself while in the world, but also revealed that Jesus is His very Image, using the word, ‘Son’ (in the English), or Huios (in the Greek). Jesus was not the ‘Son of God’ in a natural sense, but the posterity of the Father.

The Romans used the word, gens, in the same context; for instance, Julius Caesar was the ‘son,’ or ‘gens’ of Julii, his ancient ancestor. Just as Jesus was not the literal ‘son of David,’ neither was He the literal ‘Son of God,’ but the very Image of God who was God in all respects, having the same Substance in His Genome.

The LORD GOD revealed Himself to Moses, Elias, and the apostles in a bright cloud. That was the ‘Image’ that Moses had seen so many times before. Then that Cloud shined on Jesus much like putting a spotlight on an Image.

Imagine now, if you can, the Shekinah Light of God in the darkness shining on Jesus. What would you see? The Shadow of the Person, Jesus. The inner Image of the Man Jesus would be revealed as a Shadow.

The Image of God in the beginning from which the first man, Adam, was made, was a ‘Shadow,’ or ‘Phantom.’

Jesus had received the Holy Ghost at the baptism by John. The LORD GOD came to show both the apostles and the prophets that the ‘Shadow’ whom they worshipped in times past was indeed the Person of Jesus.

What is truth? In Platonian terms, truth is that a shadow on the wall, or on material earth, is a fragment of the real Thing. The LORD GOD used that Platonian allegory many times in scripture to reveal the truth. The truth being that the Light of God, the Persson of God, and the Phantom of God are the One Almighty LORD GOD — the ‘Godhead’ or ‘Holy Trinity.’

Next, we shall consider why Elias (Elijah) was invited to the revealing.

OFFENSIVENESS OF THE TRUTH

 About giving good things as the Father does us, Jesus said, “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets” (Mat 7:12) (KEY VERSE).

First off, in “all things whatsoever.” There are no exceptions. There is nothing that should be neglected for us to do for others. Secondly, that is not a suggestion nor a rule but the “Law” as presented to the world by the prophets.

The measure of what we are to do for others is our expectation of what they should do for each of us.

What would you desire, my friend? The ultimate thing for a man to do for his friend is to risk his life. Jesus did that, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13). Again, Jesus did that, not only for His friends, but He enemies. He laid down His life, because of so much love for us, that “whosoever” should not perish (John 3:16).

Recently, I wrote my thoughts about atheism. I knew in advance that it would be rejected by atheists because all their lives, doubts have been sowed in their minds. Without even their awareness, they have accepted falsehood after falsehood. Science even admits that; just this morning the headlines read, “Scientists Say Textbooks Are Wrong About the Origin of Life” (Harrison 2023).

The science changes often. For atheists to know the “truth” they must keep up with the daily news. For Christians to know the truth, they only need to remember the “Good News.”

As expected, my friend responded negatively; even agitated and angry. He let me know that I was no longer his friend. I challenged his thesis and for that I forfeited our friendship. I lost a friend because I had the audacity to reveal to him that he just might be wrong. Why would I do such a thing as that?  Because I loved him so much, even as a sinner, that I desired that he would never perish. I did that for him because I would have wanted him to do that for me if the situation had been turned around.

Each morning I write things that might offend many. However, have I not written the truth? I have written about evil government officials, politicians, and even the entertainment industry, but have I not written the truth?

Some may say that I should not have done that to the man; that I offended him. Well, think about Jesus, “And they were offended in Him” (Mat 13:57). “They” were his friends and neighbors. Jesus, who was thought to be nothing more than a tradesman, offended them because he was neither a High Priest nor royalty, or so they thought.

What had Jesus revealed to them that was so repugnant? 

⁴⁹ So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, ⁵⁰ And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. (Mat 13:49:50)

 They did not want to hear that! It was the truth, but they did not want to hear that. So, just as I would do much later, Jesus offended them. What had I told my friend? That he would die and suffer the consequences. What was Jesus telling them? The consequences of sin.

What is the most offensive thing that anyone can say? You will go to Hell. Why would Jesus say that to his friends and neighbors? “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). It seems that the most loving thing — saving from Hell — but is the most offensive thing. How dare me warn my neighbors that their houses are on fire. How dare me warn my neighbors that their souls might burn with it! Is that what I desire for them to do for me?

“The adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Pet 5:8). Each day, I write of our “burning Church;” that the structure and its inhabitants are in danger of perishing. How dare that I should do that! That is so offensive that even the preacher seems offended.  

We cannot warn even our brothers, sisters, or friends that the Church is about to erupt in flames. The spirits are already in its foundation, and God is set to ignite the Institution that He founded. He did it with Israel and Judea, yet even Christians are offended that a mere engineer should warn them of their impending doom. The ingredients for the eruption of flames are all around us, yet we can never offend our brothers and sisters.

They think they are secure, but all the while they may die: 

²⁵ There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey; they have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and precious things; they have made her many widows in the midst thereof. ²⁶ Her priests have violated My Law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from My sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. (Ezek 22:25-26)

 Of course, that means Judah, but applies to the end of times for the Church. Who destroyed Israel? False prophets. The “church” destroyed the “Church.” How did God’s prophets do that? They made no difference between right and wrong. The Church will be destroyed because those who minister the Church will accept the profane before they will the truth.

To be honest, the Church cares more about the building than the Church. Why would the congregation vote on facilities for the building but not about continuation of Sunday night services?

That families are too busy to worship God on the Lord’s Day is flimsy at best. We are to honor God on the Lord’s Day not just in the morning.

Have you heard more sermons about the dangers of the social media than about the souls that are in danger? If you have, you have heard the profane rather than the holy.

Holy things are offensive. Jesus offended his “Church” because He preached an offensive thing: that the penalty of unrepentant sin is death in the fires of Hell.

Now, teachers can teach neither on the fires of Hell nor about the signs of the end at all. Ezekiel would have been cast out of the modern Church by the priests! They would have been ashamed that he taught the truth!

To be honest, we are looking at the wrong adversaries. The priests: the ministers, preachers, elders, and even the deacon boards, are those who are the most danger to the destruction of the Church. Not that they will set the fire but that they will quench the Holy Spirit that is the fire! 

¹⁸ In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. ¹⁹ Quench not the Spirit. ²⁰ Despise not prophesyings. (1 Thes 5:18-20)

 “In everything,” just as in the key verse at the start. The prophesying was a forewarning of the conspiracy of the prophets. Each day I write of the conspiracies that are orchestrated by Lucifer (Isa 14:12-14) and warned about by Ezekiel. In the Church, I am not allowed to teach about such things because the congregants might be offended. What if Ezekiel had not warned us? What if Jesus had not? Then, the Church would go down just as the Temple did twice.

Who destroyed the Temples? Not the Babylonians nor the Romans. They were mere tools for their destruction. The false prophets, the kings, and those who listened to them destroyed the Temples.

Who will destroy the Church? False teachers and those who teach profane things rather than spiritual things. Preaching against the social media is profane compared to worrying about offending the congregation in things that have been rightly prophesied.

What I write here is certain to offend many. However, be forewarned, the truth offends and if it does not offend some, perhaps it is not the truth!
