THE TREE OF DEATH - Part 2

 Part 2

Figure #2 :Is istock) "Neuron")

Next, we shall consider the parts of the “tree” within the flesh and how it performs, but before the flesh is considered, perhaps a better idea of “glorification” should be understood.

Adam and Eve were created in the Image of God (Gen 1:27) and in “our image; after our likeness” (Gen 1:26). They were created both in the Image of God and the angels as some believe from the Hebrew elohim. Neither God and angels are not of material substance as we know it; they were of an alien substance of which little is known.

Adam and Eve were neither carnivores nor were they herbivores. Where scripture indicates “every herb-bearing seed… for meat” (Gen 1:29), the literal translation is “glossy’ (Strong’s Dictionary).

I believe their food (“meat”) was manna for heaven which was like dewy “hoar frost” on the ground (Exod 16:14). It seems that food would not be agreeable to their bodies, so God provided manna that would disappear from their glorious bodies rather than to be digested and released as excrement in their perfect Garden Paradise.

Ancient literature — the Books of Adam and Eve — verify that conclusion — that they had no digestive systems and feared even eating figs because they could not process food, herbal or not.

The two were created “very good” the English translation indicates (Gen 1:39). They were literally created “forcefully excellent” (ibid), or most certainly perfect, or “glorious” because dying and death would not be their ending.

Perhaps they had a mind but no brain was required to process knowledge. They knew no evil, only goodness. They needed not the ability to judge anything but accepted everything as correct because in the Garden there existed only truth.

Before proceeding, let’s first examine forcefully excellent. “Forcefully” would be dynamic, or virtuous, from the Greek “dynamis” (ibid). “Excellent” would be without flaw. It is later indicated in scripture that “glorious” means splendor and without decay, decadence, or corruption.

In the end, when the dead in Christ are raised and God breathes life unto them “in the twinkling of the eye… the dead shall be raised incorruptible (aphthartos), and we shall be changed” (1 Cor 15:52). “Aphthartos” is “without corruption or decay” (ibid). As such, Christians will be changed back to the glorious, virtuously dynamic state in which Adam and Eve were created.

Jesus was manifested in ordinary flesh like any man that could have become corrupted with decay but did not. Death became Him! “Out of His belly shall flow living waters…  this spake He of the Spirit, which they that believe on Him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified” (John 7:38-39).

Upon death and resurrection, Jesus was changed. The Holy Spirit of God became the “Holy Ghost” of the dead man, Jesus. The Body of Jesus had perished but his Ghost, or Soul, had not! Jesus was different after He arose from the dead… Jesus said to Mary after He was resurrected, “Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father” (John 20:17).

Mary, nor anyone else, even Thomas, did not touch Jesus because His Body was made glorious again by the resurrection. Like Adam and Eve long before, Jesus had had His “Last Supper” and would no longer require food; He would exist on manna from Heaven. “Manna” is not substance but spiritual “food” from above.

Glorious creatures do not couple in carnal methods. Eve was generated from the Spirit of God that flowed from the belly of Adam (not “rib” as is wrongfully translated.) From Adam’s belly flowed living waters, or the Holy Spirit, to generate Eve. The two were born of the Spirit of God, and like the rest of us sinners, required rebirth of the Spirit, or literally “engendering from above” (ibid).

Manna, it seems, is spiritual food that must not be digested that unleavened bread symbolizes.

The point in all those words, is that man was created glorious and to the dust his body shall return (Gen 3:19) because the new creature will have a flesh of a different, heavenly substance that is alien to this world.

That glorious body is a shoot off the Tree of Life. It shall have the same substance as Jesus after He was glorified. It will no longer be corrupt, knowing only good things, and there will be no knowledge of evil. The mind of the glorious creature will exist, but as silly as it may seem, the brain of the Christian will have decayed long before in the grave, and return to the dust from which it came.

The brain is a faculty of the body, but the mind is a faculty of the soul. Jesus did things while His brain was inactive in the grave; things like deliver the repentant thief to Paradise that day, and escort sin and Satan to Hell that day as well.

The flesh of the Christian, upon dying and resurrection, should be identical to God’s original design. Again, there will be no need for sexual intercourse because multiplication will be spiritual — the addition of souls to the existence. Indeed, like the angels, “In the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven” (Mat 22:30).

“Marriage” is a coupling in sexual intercourse. The glorious being will be without reproductive organs, which we can assume, neither Adam nor Eve had, since they both covered their newly acquired pudenda with fig leaves immediately after they sinned. They had been remade with flesh of which they were ashamed, especially their sexual organs, and the next thing Eve did was to experiment (without Adam) and made a man herself (Gen 4:1). She had become the “god” just as the Serpent warned! It was she with her new “lord” the Wicked One who shared that newly acquired knowledge.

All the evidence points to the original creature as a being alien to this world, and when God cast them out, they were different creatures that required protection, so God pout onto them coats of skins from dead animals (Gen 3:21) which sacred literature says were from lambs that God had provided.

Perhaps, those skins were like the skins of lambs. Perhaps before the flesh that they acquired was more like Lucifer’s — their new “father, the Devil” (John 8:44). Look at the body with its flesh in figure #1. Perhaps that flesh is the “coat of skins” that mankind acquired upon sinning. Perhaps that skin is from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Look closely, just as Jesus is the Tree of Life, that tree is the “Tree of Death” and death became Adam and Eve.

The inglorious flesh that they acquired when God coated them may have been what we know as human flesh, no longer like God’s but in the image of the Beast. But that may not be the case as you shall see, so read on!

The “Serpent” in scripture was not a viper at all but the evil image of Lucifer who was cunning (Gen 3:1). Adam and Eve not only received the flesh of the Beast but the mind of the Beast as well. Isaiah described the “Serpent” as a seraph; a seraph whose alien flesh was different and became the image of mankind.

Again, look closely at the form in figure #1. Of course, you can see the image of a man very clearly. Look closer now; can you see a “tree” inside the image?

Where is the Tree of Knowledge? It was the Serpent’s Tree but because Cain was of the Wicked One (1 John 3:12), the tree of knowledge is in each of us, imbued into the human creature at birth, or as King David said, “I was shapen in iniquity” (Psalm 51:5), or depravity.

Adam and Eve had died right then because they were no longer immortal beings. The flesh will die because it is from the genetic tree of death. We must be regenned by Christ above because the flesh shall perish unless the genes are corrected that Lucifer made depraved when he degenerated mankind to his kind.

The flesh is only material but within the flesh is a dynamic network. By a process called “’action potential,’ a neuron's function involves sending electrical impulses and chemical signals to and from the brain” (verywell-health.com).

People are wired just like the animal kingdom whose pursuit is for pleasure and dominance.

The neurological network was in the disfigured flesh of man after sin. Perhaps Adam and Eve acquired that flesh with sin and the coats of skin was to prevent the world from dominating mankind in a reversal of God’s original intent, with man having dominion over all things (Gen 1:26), but only in his own glorious image.

The conclusion is that with sin the image of mankind changed. Whether by the degeneration of the Wicked One or by the coats of skin is ambiguous but mankind became like the creature of old (Lucifer, who is called “Satan”).

Therefore, since men as born are “old creatures’ the evidence is that with sin the flesh of the Beast overcame Adam and Eve and that the coats of skins were by God’s grace to protect the two old creatures who were so much like their father, the Devil.

With sin, mankind became controlled by pleasure from the Tree of Knowledge. Before, the desire was for God and only an appreciation of His Goodness.

The fleshes of both man and woman were changed to be more like the Devil’s.

In heaven, Lucifer would not be able to couple with sexual intercourse, but in the world, that was not stated.

Satan as Lucifer was cast out into the world and things would be different for him here. I submit that Adam and Eve had no sexual knowledge at all, and that their multiplication, was by reproduction of the Spirit of God in them. Satan endowed them with the reproduction of his manner of “flesh” with all the sensory perception that he had.

Returning to the man in the figure, his flesh is more than skin and dermal layers. Within the flesh is the DNA of Lucifer and his network of neural fibers. That network is dynamic and sends impulses from the world to the brain. Is it only coincidental that you are all “children of disobedience” who have “walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air” (Ephes 2:2).

In other words, Satan is not in you! He cannot be because he is limited to one place at any given time. However, his flesh is in your flesh and the neural network within the flesh is how he controls us all, unless we hand over control to Jesus.

That beautiful lady at the beach that you glance at so often… that is the DNA and “tree” in you that was inherited from the “Image” so long ago. You cannot help yourselves from looking because you are of the Wicked One. It is in your DNA, in your neurological system, and in your mind. You are remotely controlled by the Prince of the Power of the Air, and you still think that you are in control!

THE TREE OF DEATH - Part 1

The thread throughout the Bible is organic. Scripture goes from the “first Adam” to the “last Adam” —  “The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit” (1 Cor 15:45), so said Paul. The soul that was made alive was a body and the Spirit made it alive — “quickening.”

A soul, according to both scripture and sacred writings, is an invisible substance of a being in the shape of a body (Luke 3:22). The living soul of Jesus looked just like the person, Jesus, but of another substance that is spiritual.

Creation, or generation — the Genesis of Adam’s kind — was about the invisible soul of the first man becoming alive in a biological sense. The soul of Adam took on some sort of flesh that was glorious as it was in the image of God.

The re-creation — regeneration — is the same process wherein Adam’s kind, because of faith, have the Spirit in mankind “quickened,” or made alive again. Quickened in the sense that it was once alive but was made dead with the original sin.

The regeneration of Adam’s kind was made possible by the blood of Jesus which had the capacity to regenerate the soul in the “dead” — all mankind. Speaking of Jesus, Paul wrote, “God hath set (Him) forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past…” (Rom 3:25). “Sins that are past” are genetic, or original sins, not just behavioral and recent sins, but the animalistic instinct that resides in everyone, “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Rom 3:23).

That coming short is “iniquity” in which everyone, including King David, was endowed. Iniquity is depravity; made glorious in the Image of God, the first sin introduced depravity, and the nature of mankind has been depraved since then.

Coming short of that glory is depravity, or degeneration which is remedied by the possibility of regeneration. The blood of Jesus, already sacrificed is available to all who would “drink” of the “Living Water,” as Jesus called it (John 4:10).

Of course, the blood of Jesus was sufficient as the perfect sacrifice one time for all. Those who trust His Blood, in the end, will be regenned, hence, Jesus said, “Marvel not; ye must be born again” (John 3:7).

So, just as generation was a lengthy process, so is regeneration. It begins with a “babe in Christ” (1 Cor 3:1) and includes those who have retained a carnal nature, and ends with the dead in Christ, as well as the living souls, wearing incorruptible flesh. It is not instantaneous but enduring faith that saves, which either resurrection or regenning concludes.

The human soul was the original creation, not just before the foundation of the world, but the cosmos, or before visible things (Ephes 1:4).

Then, God finished the creation by placing glorious flesh on the man Adam from whose belly flowed living water to Eve. Her flesh was from Adam but her soul was filled with the Spirit of God from the belly of the man just as Jesus told the woman at the well, “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water” (John 7:38).

As stated in the first paragraph, one thread in the Bible is about organic mankind and God’s grace to make man spiritual again.

Another thread throughout scripture is the Tree of Life, first mentioned in Genesis 2:9 and lastly in Revelation 22:14. The Angel of the Church of Ephesus said, “To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life” (Rev 2:7). That concludes the prohibition of God who said:

And the Lord God said, “Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever…” So He drove out the man; and He placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life. (Gen 3:22,24)

Man had the right to the Tree of Life in the beginning because both “Adams” were glorious as they were the very image of God. With that understood, the reader should understand that Jesus is the de facto Image of God. The first Adam was the image of the Last Adam and the two were as glorious as God just as Jesus IS the Glory of God as the Image of Him.

There were two trees in the middle of the Garden — the Tree of Life that could be freely eaten and the Tree of Knowledge of both good and evil whose fruits were forbidden.

The Tree of Life still stands in heavenly Paradise to this day, but where is the Tree of Knowledge? Does it still stand anywhere?

…God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. (Rom 8:3-6)

Given: Jesus Christ is the “Tree of Life” for He is the Author of Life (John 1). Out of His belly flowed the Living Water for both Adam and Eve.

Who then is the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil and where does it stand? Lucifer, as Satan, is that “Tree.” In scripture, trees often represent both human beings and apparently other beings.

Satan no longer stands anywhere. He too is mobile, in the manner of Jesus, but whereas the Ghost of Jesus is omnipresent, the “Ghost” of Satan is not; it travels to and fro in the earth, or physical realm (Job 1:7). So where is Satan right now? Perhaps resident in Hell, or perhaps in the soul of some man, just as Satan entered Judas for one day… and perhaps as Satan entered Eve for one day.

Original sin was passed down, not from the man, but the woman as the “mother of all living” (Gen 3:20).

So where is Satan right now in the world? He is in us all. Only Eve and all subsequent women have mitochondrial DNA and only the women can pass it down genetically. With that said, just as the leaves of the Tree of Life is for the healing of the nations (Rev 22:22), the Tree of Knowledge is for the death of the nations. Everyone is as dead even as they are born and need Living Waters to revive them… to be “born again.”

The Tree of Life was Spiritual but became Flesh to be as mankind. Hence, the flesh is vessel for carnality and as such, the “Tree of Death” resides in each of us.

How so?

Figure 1 Nervous System by Alex Grey (alexgrey.com)

Look closely at the figure; therein, in the flesh of all of us, man and woman, is the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Like Jesus, it is the “tree” with mobility that takes special bright eyes to see. Not only can the nervous system be measured by its signals but has been dissected by physicians many times and laid out for the eyes of man to see (Specktor, Brandon; Live Science; Feb 1, 2018).

The Tree of Lucifer, because of sin, resides in the flesh of mankind. That we are carnal and of the flesh is a reminder of just whose we are, and by that, I mean children of the Devil, Lucifer (John 8:44).

Next, we shall consider the parts of the “tree” within the flesh and how it performs.

THE PROBLEM WITH THE CHURCH

The "Church" is not the building nor even the people within the organization. The Church is the brotherhood of believers in the world who share "Jesus" as the figurative Image of God and trust Him in all things. Why provide the Scripture for that when most minds have their own fiction of the Church?

Neither is Church doing things. Ezra had Church strictly by reading the Word of God without commentary nor even preaching. Church is understanding that God is God and that no other person nor idol IS; and that people are just another assembly of idols that must be appeased. As such, rather than the Church being about God; it is about the people within it. The "worldy" Church is not the "spiritual" Church and they must not be confused.

The Church that so many attend in modern times is a distant "Cousin Eddie" to the original Church in the Holy Land! It claims to be related but not by blood... the blood of Jesus, anyway. Most Churches are not even cousins, let alone a brotherhood of believers!

Jesus said to Peter, speaking of Himself, "Upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it" (Mat 16:18).  Furthermore, the Church is explained:

Then departed Barnabas to Tarsus, for to seek Saul: And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch. (Acts 11:25-26)

Church, Matthew wrote, is "ekklÄ“sia" in the Greek; "to call out from" or "to call from." (Strong's). That should pertain to some person or assembly of persons who are called out from the visible world into the invisible anti-world. As such, the world is not the Church but those who prescribe to the truth.

That again brings up the question, What is truth? That Jesus is God in the flesh, and God is with us in Spirit as well; that the Holy Ghost - the Spirit of that one dead man - is the leader and teacher of the Church. The disciples were called "Christians" first at Antioch, and their assembly (synago) was at Antioch.

Hence, the "Church" is the synagogue of disciples. (mathetes), or "learners" who would follow the teachings of Christ. The "Church is thence a place of learning and is a school not so much for preaching as it is for teaching. No wonder Jesus was called "Rabbi" - "teacher"!

The Church, rightly called "synagogue" is to "together bring" (ibid). Bring what together? Themselves to learn about Jesus. Compare that to the "synagogue of Satan" wherein learning were falsehoods and entertainment.

Now ask, What is a Christian? Those who are persuaded to follow Jesus. Paul "reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks" (Acts 18:4) He used an assembly in the synagogue to persuade the assembly to become Christians. Synagogues are not temples but assemblies wherever the Way of Jesus is taught; even assemblies outdoors.

So, what is wrong with modern churches?

  • Rather than persuading unbelievers to become Christians, the church caters to believers.
  • Paul also, "persuaded them to continue in the grace of God" (Acts 13:43). Church was not a place of entertainment but a forum for advancing Jesus as the Savior. The "students," in that same passage, were the congregants.
  • Thusly, the Church must have great teachers. It does not have! The Church most often do not use students of the Bible, but immature "learners" who think that they are teachers. As such, rather than advance Jesus, the Church advances learners into teachers.
  • Learners repeat what they have learned. That is good if their teachers have been qualified. However, if a poor teacher teaches the congregation, the entire congregation fails to learn. Jesus did not call the unlearned to teach but the most qualified. He called Paul to preach because he was as learned, or more so, than the philosophers in Athens. Unlearned teachers are much like the telephone game wherein the true message is lost by repetition of a weak message.
  • Paul reasoned. He convinced the intelligent philosophers that their unknown God is not god at all, but he himself declared the One True God. So many modern "teachers" are limited to reading commentary; commentary that even they fail to understand. As such, unlearned "teachers" pass along untested doctrine. Paul wrote, "Prove all things; hold fast that which is good" (1 Thes 5:21). Teachers must be scientific; they must persuade the listeners with logic, and the pupils should test whether it is good or wrong. Teachers must teach students how to learn before they learn! They fail at that because so many fail to understand just who Jesus IS!
  • If Jesus had called on a Priest to teach, what would said priest have taught? Mosaic Law. He would not have taught the truth but another doctrine. Jesus went to Paul who knew the Law but convinced Paul that He understood it wrongly. Jesus revealed the truth to Paul and Paul was fully persuaded and understood just who Jesus IS!
  • Paul was well-educated. Jesus did not look for a disciple to teach but a leader. Paul led the mob and they followed. He did not sing, baptize, deacon, or anything else. H only preached the gospel and that alone! He was not the center of attention, but a servant to Jesus who was gone. Perhaps Paul was the man for the time because he was a natural born teacher whose students followed him wherever he went. Jesus selected Paul to teach the Greeks because he was a philosopher who understood just what truth IS. Jesus revealed the truth to him by showing Paul that He - the Holy Ghost - is the same Jesus that Paul had diminished. Jesus sought an educated man who had the gift of persuasion, not some synagogue pupil from the time of His youth.
  • So, the Church is more a school than a place of worship. Hence, the teachers must be pre-eminent. They should be the best of the best. We fail because the Church has become respecters of persons (Acts 10:34) that Paul wrote that he perceived Jesus it might be. Paul often taught the less learned or ensured that they were learned before he sent them out into the world. Each teacher was taught right doctrine before they were sent out (synagogue). The young ones such as Timothy were taught right doctrine before he was trusted. Neither Jesus nor Paul sought sub-par people as teachers but the best of the best.
  • Teaching requires that the teacher teach beyond the knowledge of the congregation. A teacher for the pupils to learn must teach what is called, "over the heads" of the assembly. Persuasion is hard work, so logic and reason are a must. Telling students what they already know is selling the congregation short. That can be heard in the lack of knowledge of the members of the Church. So many members of the congregation in the Church fail to understand what Pilate, the thief, and the centurion believe; that Jesus and Jehovah are One and the same Divine Being. When I have taught, it is obvious that the congregation remained unschooled in the nature of God! Teachers are to advance Jesus as God, not retard that doctrine.
  • Furthermore, the teacher must know right doctrine (orthodoxy). For instance, a denomination, Armenian in belief has a certain doctrine. (If yours differs, I am not the final authority.) As such, the teachers must teach generalized grace and not election, and also conditional security rather than eternal security. So many, even Armenians, ask, "Do you know beyond the shadow of a doubt that you are saved?" to the new member. No, they do not! It is conditional based on whether they maintain faith during their lifetime... "endure to the end" (Mat 10:22), or as Paul said, "persuade them to continue in the faith." Whether you believe that is up to you and your understanding of scripture. However, those who say that is their doctrine should know better than teach a false doctrine!
         Paul wrote, "
now is our salvation nearer than when we believed" (Rom 13:11). Whether you believe that or not is between you and God, but an Armenian denomination should teach that doctrine. To say something irrational - "beyond the shadow of a doubt" - in respect to salvation is not only illogical but Calvinistic. That you are already "saved" is as well. "Conversion" is the right doctrine for general baptists and the consequence, or reward, is "salvation" - "shall be saved" (John 3:16) as a future event.
Do not get hung up on differing doctrine but agree to agree that the teachers of the church must teach their doctrine as they understand it, not the doctrine of some other faith.
  • Many churches present videos of preachers and teachers of different faiths. That is okay in a non-sectarian setting, but wrong to do so in whatever your church's doctrine might be. I have taught for many years in other denominations but have avoided teaching contrary to their doctrine because that would be unethical. Your church should take care to propagate the doctrine of Jesus as you understand it, and my church should expect the same. When a teacher of another doctrine is brought into the assembly, it can confuse the congregation. In so many churches, that is so prevalent that many hold different believes at the same time - what Orwell called "doublethink." You cannot believe that apostasy is right doctrine and at the same time know without a doubt that you are already saved!
Apostasy is defection from God (Heb 6:6). That implies apostasy is to "fall away" from once having affection for God; that the "saved" can somehow become "unsaved." Explain to me the act of "unsaving;" it is irrational! it is not even a word.
  • Church is an assembly of those who have come out of the world into the invisible realm of God. Therein, Jesus is "King of Kings and Lord of Lords." Where is Jesus in your church? The modern church has become nothing more than "a den of thieves" so to speak. Within its core are the few who do all things. Those the busiest in life are called upon to be the busiest in the church. Have you not noticed that just a few of the congregants lead all the activities? Rather than the church calling on those with time and experience; it calls on those with the least time to do all things.    Have you noticed that the same people are in view at all times, but the best teachers may be the silent ones who take a backseat to "players" in playing church" as if church is a performance rather than a "classroom" for learning to be better Christians, hard as that may seem.
  • Many churches have forty-minutes of praise compared to twenty-minutes of instruction. Sure, it may be worship, or it could be entertainment. Jesus did not come to entertain but teach; thusly He is called "Rabbi." So many worship with little idea the majesty and grandeur of the Divine Being who they are worshipping. Some worship praise itself. If there is not enough praise, then they hunger for more rather than hungering for more truth about Jesus and His Plans for them. Not that praise is wrong but that the disciples should know more about who they are praising. Face it, bands and music were not part of Paul's ministry but presenting truth and instruction. Persuasion is indeed hard work! Someone that responds emotionally to music but not to the Word should test whether their emotion is to the music or to the Word.
  • The Church has become more like an ecclesiastical organization with a hierarchy. At the first level are the commoners who sit there in awe of the featured ones. They are the masses who should be appeased and who are expected to adore their leaders. Then there are the performers who are expected to entertain the apathetic. They are graded on the applause that they receive. Above them are the active ones - the doers who work so hard that you need not! They are to be admired but at the same time, church is to learn and admire Jesus and often the entertainers overshadow the Purpose. Among them are the teachers. The thought is if they can entertain, they can teach! Many of us have suffered through that fantasy. There is a ladder to success as well. The minister may groom those most allegiant to him to be the leaders of the church. Rather than the deacons and trustees as the leaders, in laxity, they designate their responsibilities to the preacher who ministers rather than teach. He gets so busy ministering that lesser qualified must teach. Soon, the preacher can rely on them as he does his own "day job" that is more important.
  • To show that they are worthy, the ecclesia demonstrate that their acumen is in various fields; they can teach as well as entertain; can rule as well as teach, and so forth. Rather than Jesus as "Tekton" they are the most notable "technicians," and it is assumed that if they are so good in one expertise that they must be experts in everything.
  • The worst is when those with little knowledge endeavor to teach the teachers. I have been asked to do that myself long before I accrued the knowledge that I have today. I was called on to be the teacher of the Professor of the New Testament. How illicit was that? Yet, many today, are called on to teach what they are not sure of themselves. When teachers are outside their expertise, then they make fools of the congregants. That is why we are to test all things and retain what is good among the poor teachings.
With all that said, it is sad, but the Church is not what it was meant to be. The most obvious is the "circus-like" atmosphere that some have, and staged plays like the big churches. Less noticeable is the congregation playing church and the minister watching as if he is king to be entertained and paid. The modern church is structured like a governing assembly rather than a school for learning about Jesus. It has become an experiment in motivation and leadership rather than humility. Just my thoughts after 70 years of observation.

THE STORY BEHIND IDOLS

The story of the gods of Terah, the father of Abram, is not specific in the Bible but revealed eloquently in the Book of Jasher:

30 And Abram viewed them (twelve great idols and many lesser ones), and behold they had neither voice nor hearing, nor did one of them stretch forth his hand to the meat to eat. 31 And in the evening of that day in that house Abram was clothed with the spirit of God…

33 And when Abram saw all these things his anger was kindled against his father, and he hastened and took a hatchet in his hand, and came unto the chamber of the gods, and he broke all his father’s gods. 34 And when he had done breaking the images, he placed the hatchet in the hand of the great god which was there before them, and he went out; and Terah his father came home…

36 And Terah entered the room and found all the idols fallen down and broken, and the hatchet in the hand of the largest, which was not broken, and the savory meat which Abram his son had made was still before them.

Terah asked Abram, 42 Is there in these gods spirit, soul or power to do all thou hast told me? Are they not wood and stone, and have I not myself made them, and canst thou speak such lies, saying that the large god that was with them smote them? It is thou that didst place the hatchet in his hands, and then sayest he smote them all?”

Abram asked his father, 43 “And how canst thou then serve these idols in whom there is no power to do any thing? Can those idols in which thou trustest deliver thee? can they hear thy prayers when thou callest upon them? can they deliver thee from the hands of thy enemies, or will they fight thy battles for thee against thy enemies, that thou shouldst serve wood and stone which can neither speak nor hear?” (Jasher 11)

Terah had made the idols. They were not gods at all because Terah was their creator. They could not do anything!

Abram created the illusion that the major god had destroyed the others, but Terah was wise enough to see the fallacy in that; he knew that he had alone had made the gods and they could not do anything. As such, Terah realized that he was worshiping the works of his own hands, and they were nothing now but rubbish.

It was not even Abram that broke the gods! The Almighty God was responsible for that because Abram was given the inclination and courage to reveal the façade. It was Jehovah God who broke the idols because, “Abram was clothed with the spirit of God.”

Note that God had clothed Adam and Eve with His “Coat of Skin,” indubitably His Holy Spirit within the new flesh of the two (Gen 3:21)

Noah had also found grace (Gen 6:8). Surely, God had put the Garment of Adam onto Noah, as Jasher acknowledges  because He was the “Second Adam.”

Therein, Abram found grace, and he would be the “Third Adam” and God would correct mankind for the third time.

Abram received the Spirit of God because he was courageous enough to tear down the greatest idol of them all — the Tower of Babel which was three days walking distance in circumference (Jasher 9:38).

Abram survived the high temperatures of the kiln, a fiery furnace, and came out unscathed. It was surely therein that Abram was clothed with the Spirit of God that was impervious to the flames of the brick kiln.

The King James version seems as if Nachor and Terah lived before the flood, but Young’s Literal Translation (YLT) clears that up:

2 And Joshua saith unto all the people, `Thus said Jehovah, God of Israel, Beyond the River have your fathers dwelt of old -- Terah father of Abraham and father of Nachor -- and they serve other gods; 3 and I take your father Abraham from beyond the River, and cause him to go through all the land of Canaan, and multiply his seed, and give to him Isaac. (Josh 24:2-3; YLT)

It was not before the flood that Terah was a sinner, but beyond the “River” — the Euphrates River in Ur where he made idols. Then God took Abraham beyond the River to Canaan land. Therein, God began a new civilization, not in the land per se, but with Abraham king of another realm way beyond the River in God’s mystical Paradise.

There are at least two meanings of the word, “Hebrew.” It either comes from Eber, son of Salah, or it means “beyond the river.” The latter seems more contiguous.

With that said, perhaps not only is Abraham a “Hebrew” in a genetic sense but also a mystical one. Since Abram was regenerated as Abraham and he was King of the Promised Land, the ultimate Promise was for Paradise in another realm, and not Paradise on Earth, at least not until the apocalypse.

That Abraham is King of Paradise in heaven should make sense in that “Abraham’s Bosom” (Luke 16) is in the heavenly Paradise! Perhaps, therefore, according to Enoch, beyond the River is actually in the Third Heaven wherein there is Paradise. In essence, therefore, the gulf between Hades and Paradise in the Third Heaven is the Hebrew, or the righteous, “land.”

Was Joshua mystically referring to Canaan land or was it Heaven of which he was speaking? I believe he was referring to another realm and that the world they were in is the place of skin and idol worship!

Abraham’s Bosom is otherworldly. Therein nothing is cosmic in the sense that there are material things, but things of another substance.

Just as the soul is the invisible substance of mankind and flesh the visible, there is another realm of invisible substances which is known for Revelation; and it has dimensions.

In effect, when Abram destroyed his father’s idols, he was vicariously destroying the world of Terah and Nimrod, and forthwith God sent Abraham to another world, so to speak. He resided in Canaan, but his kingdom was in Heaven — Abraham’s Bosom. In a sense, Abraham was the “Third Adam” but at his death, he was Adam, not in the Garden Paradise on Earth but the ”Plantation” in Heaven, as the Essenes called their perfect habitat.

Note that the Essene Community was at the Dead Sea and they lived an aesthetic life as if they were already in heaven; even without marriage and such as the angels in heaven. It seems that the Essenes created a heaven on Earth in much the same manner as Abraham had long before, and they meticulously obeyed the Law.

(Several times, I used the word “essence” by coincidence, but indeed the Essenes did only the essential things without any elaborate things at all. “Essene” means “the modest ones” and essentialities are what the modest ones required.)

There were no idols in Qumran because it was a dead place to live. Israel is believed to be the Garden Paradise for many reasons too numerous to mention, but the Dead Sea was pretty much austere with no beautiful things there to worship.

Lot, the nephew of Abraham, chose to live in the Garden of God in Sodom and near Gomorrah. Lot, the son of Haran who burned in Ur, chose beauty over solace that Abraham chose. As such, because Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed, the Dead Sea swallowed them up.

The Essenes chose Sodom and Gomorrah as well, but only after God did His thing with them by burning them.

The Essenes chose the Way for the “Teacher of Righteousness;” possibly Jesus? And they did so in the renewed world adjacent to the Dead Sea. They were still on the River of the Garden — the Jordan River — like Paradise, but there “Paradise” was void of any beauty to tempt them, in contrast to the beautiful Tree of Knowledge (Gen 3) in the Garden.

The Essenes were preparing the Way for the Teacher of Righteousness. They were also preparing their vision of Paradise. What was John the Baptist doing?

1 In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, 2 And saying, “Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. 3 For this is He that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, ‘The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.’” (Mat 3:1-3)

The Way of the Essenes was without any consorting with idols or even the unjust. Their lives were focused on the coming of the Messiah — Him of which Isaiah spoke.

He came from the “wilderness” of Judea. A place of desolation specifically. He surely came from Qumran. There they had prepared a place for the Lord as if Paradise would be on Earth , yet misunderstanding that Paradise was in Abraham’s Bosom in another realm.

Ironically, John knew that, and his job was to prepare the real way for the Teacher of Righteousness!

John may have been an Essene, but God prepared John for the Way. The angel of the Lord told Zacharias of that preparation:

“For he (John) shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.” (Luke 20:15)

While the Essenes were preparing the Way for heaven on Earth, John was preparing the Way for Jesus’s realm in Heaven. If he was an Essene, his way would be much better!

The Essenes seem to have drunk only new wine… just grape juice, according to theologians. John would forego even that pleasure. He was even more austere than the rigid Essenes.

When Jesus came, the foremost topic was that sin was in the flesh. The solution would be for the Holy Ghost of Jesus, by grace, to shield their fleshes in this world in preparation for the next world. The Essenes were preparing themselves by denial and works for Paradise that the Father in Heaven was already doing with the coming of Jesus. Not by coincidence, Abraham was their “Shield” until the “Comforter” would come.

Jesus voided the notion of idols. The Essenes avoided things that the flesh craves, but Jesus came in the flesh as the Ultimate “Idol” to worship because the Hebrews always required idols of some sort; as idols were in their genes.

An invisible God was enough for Abram, but his germline still required idols — not ones that were motionless like Terah’s and without personality, but the very animated (virtuous, dynamis) Person of God Himself!

Abraham knew the Law of his kingdom. It would not be the ascetic law of Moses nor of the Essenes but the Law of Love which fulfilled all the Law.

Now you should know why not idols and why God came in the Flesh.

IMPORTANCE OF THE THIGH

God, never using the vulgar, is always polite in speech; hence, “loins” mean much more than muscles in the backsides of the torso against the backbone.  Peter stood up and explained the Lord God to the crowd at Jerusalem:

30 Therefore (David) being a prophet and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, He would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; 31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in Hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. (Acts 2:30-31)

First off, the Soul of Jesus went to Hell but was not left there. Since Jesus gave up the Ghost at His death, then the soul of Jesus looked like Jesus and His Holy Ghost would have been in bodily shape, just as Like wrote (Luke 3:22). Ostensibly, the “Soul” of Jesus freed Judas from the tree from which he hang, and the Soul of Judas burst forth (Acts 1:18).

As will soon be presented, the “Soul” of Jesus was visible to some as the Soul of Jesus was to Jacob long before.

Judas had Satan enter into him before he betrayed Jesus and died because of it (Luke 22:3).  The Soul of Jesus released Satan and then it seems that Jesus deposited Satan in Hell since he hung himself in Gehenna — the “gateway to Hell.”

Ironically, Jesus had the “backbone,” in today’s vernacular, to defeat sin and Satan, whereas nobody else could have done that! The “backbone” of Jesus was His “firm and resolute character” (Merriam-Webster, Inc. 1982), or His Soul.

That the flesh of Jesus never saw corruption implies much. He never sinned, and hence Jesus never died in the sense that He decayed. Jesus was immobilized in body but not in spirit. His body was asleep, but His Soul was restless, doing many things the days He was in the tomb; He accompanied Dismus, the repentant thief, to Paradise that day, and delivered Satan to Hell almost immediately.

The nature of Jesus was from His Father but his backbone from David. David had the backbone to kill Goliath because he depended on God and not himself. As such, Jesus was the Son of David — “the son of man” — and at the same time, the “Son of God.” His flesh was the flesh of David and His Soul the Holy Spirit of God.

As the son of man, Jesus was of the gens of David, and of course, was legitimate heir to the throne of David. He was born a King.

As the Son of God, Jesus was born LORD, not just as lord but the “LORD of Lords.”

The oath that God had sworn to David was how He reproduced. Jesus was the Promised One and He was born as King of the Promised Land. God, the Father, creates by Thought. He thought, then commanded, that Light come out, and Light came out. No type of activity is required for God to reproduce, and time does not constrain Him. God breathed life unto Jesus the moment that David received the oath of God. “How so?” you ask.

Jesus was put into the loins of David at the oath, or Promise, of God. In the genealogy of Jesus, Jesus is of the genes of David (Mat 1.) That genealogy is there to validate that the Promise had come true; that Jesus is the Son of David, and as such, Jesus had the right to the throne of David.

On the other hand, in Luke chapter three, the genealogy passes right on by David and ends with Jesus as the Son of Man (Adam) and the Son of God (the Father). Jesus was in the loins of Adam as the first man, “The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit” (1 Cor 15:45).

As the “last Adam” Jesus was both the Son of God and the Son of Adam (mankind). His gen is of both God and man.

Adam received the Promise seed as well, even Eve, “Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them” (Gen 3:21).

Coats (kutoneth) therein are coverings, taken to be some type of garment, perhaps a coat. “Skins” is from the root “laid bare” (‘ur) and from the noun (‘or) — “skin” or “hides” (ibid).

With that said, before, they may have been “naked” in the sense that the two were without worldly flesh, but by grace, God covered their guilty souls with animal flesh and made beasts of them on the same order as the other animals, but still with living souls. Hence, Adam was both the Son of God and the son of man in that he had both a soul and flesh.

The Books of Adam and Eve validate that conclusion. The two were in a fallen state, and flesh was that substance. God gave to them the same oath that He gave David, “GOD said to Adam, ‘I have ordained on this earth days and years, and thou and thy seed shall dwell and walk in it, until the days and years are fulfilled; when I shall send the Word that created thee, and against which thou hast transgressed, the Word that made thee come out of the garden and that raised thee when thou wast fallen’” (1 A & E 3:1).

The coats of flesh were likely the graceful covering once their fallen state became apparent. It seems that before then, Adam and Eve were as the angels (also called ‘elohim) but afterward of the flesh. The flesh was required to exist in this realm outside the Garden Paradise.

The Word Jesus was planted right there in the world in the fleshes of Adam and Eve, and as the “last Adam” Jesus was made perfect as Adam was now lacking in character with his glorious nature gone.

As the “last Adam,” then Jesus would repopulate the world but not with human genetics but Divine. He was the “last Adam,” and not the “second Adam” as some say. There were many “Adams” in between; others being Noah and Abraham. All those of the Covenants were the “Adams.”

Jacob was the offspring of Abraham. He was another “Abel” to Abraham’s “Adam.” Abraham, like Shem before him, replaced Abel as the righteous son.

Jacob carried the oath as well as Abraham and David. Jacob wrestled with a “man” who turned out to be God in the flesh. Jacob prevailed for the moment, but then, “When He saw that He (the Man) prevailed not against him, He touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him” (Gen 32:25), and soon after, “He (the Man without a Name) blessed him (Jacob) there (Gen 32:29). Jacob became the new man, “Israel” and it was the seed of his altered loins that were carried down to Jesus.

The “hollow of Jacob’s thigh” implied something else. Just as Abraham’s servant swore to find a wife for Isaac by putting his hand under Abraham’s thigh (Gen 24:9, that action was swearing an  oath. In like manner, Jacob (Israel) became part of the oath and the Angel of God with whom Jacob wrestled did that to Jacob. He became part of the oath for a Savior.

The disjoint of the hollow of the thigh was polite talk for changing the genes of Jacob and he became the new creature, Israel. Jesus — that “Man” — passed His genes into the loins of Jacob, making him one of the many “Adam’s” in His genealogy.

To this day, Jews celebrate that act, even though they have no idea that Jesus endowed Jacob right then with His Divine genes, and as such, Jacob was “born again” when his he was engendered from the Man from above.

Why all the genealogy in scripture? Because the Promise of a Savior was genetic. Once the Savior was born, then genealogies became worthless (Tit 3:9), as anyone could be regenned just for trusting God! No longer were the loins so important because regeneration was again by the “Living Water” that God breathes into those who trust Him.

Now you know why Jesus disjointed the thigh of Jacob. It was an oath for a Savior from his loins. Several hundred years later, Mary passed along those Divine genes from Jacob to Jesus and God came forth from her womb.

Finally, after all those years, “Adam” was exonerated because His germline, Jesus, propitiated for all the “sins that are past” (Rom 3:25) from the first Adam down to those of His day.

Any sins that Adam, Noah, Abraham, Jacob, or David had done were covered by the blood of Jesus. It would not be Jacob who prevailed (Israel) but the Angel of God, Jesus, Himself.

MARVEL NOT: Born Again?

Nimrod was set on building a tower to heaven; the “great hunter” would hunt down God on God’s own Estate.

Abram of Ur refused to obey the king as well as his father, Terah. The Book of Jasher, mentioned several times in scripture, says about that, “The man who revileth the king should be hanged upon a tree; but having done all the things that he said, and having despised our gods, he must therefore be burned to death, for this is the law in this matter” (Jasher 12:5)

Because Abram was against the king (Nimrod) he deserved hanging; albeit because Abram despised Terah’s and Nimrod’s gods, the law was that Abram be burned to death.

Not by coincidence, the tower was to be built, not on a high mountain where the righteous visited their gods but on the plain of Shinar (Gen 11:2). Why build a tower on a plain when a mountain would suffice better and maybe one as high as the tower itself?

Well, it turns out that Nimrod had a kiln, ostensibly for making bricks: All that were there said in one voice, “If it pleases the king to do this, let him order his servants to kindle a fire both night and day in thy brick furnace, and then we will cast this man (Abram) into it. And the king did so, and he commanded his servants that they should prepare a fire for three days and three nights in the king's furnace, that is in Casdim; and the king ordered them to take Abram from prison and bring him out to be burned” (Jasher 12:6).

As a sidenote, “tower” in Genesis 11:4 has a root gadal — “to make great, powerful’ or “to be brought up.” The translation of a “tower” is iterated from those descriptions. In that they were on level ground on a plain should add to that translation.

The English in 1611 would have no idea what a rocket is. Any fool would know that a tower could not reach heaven but maybe a castle fueled by a powerful engine might! Was Nimrod building a tower toe heaven or a Flintstonian-type spaceship to challenge God in space warfare? (Interesting to wonder about but not imperative to the subject at hand; that they were about to burn Abram in a fiery furnace… and perhaps to send him directly to God!) The tower never left its launch-pad but Abram did.

Everybody, rich and poor, powerful and common, men and women, and even the children came to see Abram a burning. (Jasher 12:7-8) (Or perhaps to see the castle launch.)

Abram was and had been a king for quite some time, and Nimrod laid claim to Abram’s throne; “Our sovereign lord, surely this (Abram) is the man whom we know to have been the child at whose birth the great star swallowed the four stars, which we declared to the king now fifty years since” (Jasher 12:9).

It seems that Abram was a powerful threat to Nimrod, and he was the real king, ordained by the stars, as they thought. Abram had destroyed his father’s idols and now he was about to destroy the biggest idol of them all — the tower to heaven or even a venture into space.

As it turns out, Abram was indeed a king but his realm was of another world. Perhaps Nimrod was about to send him to his throne in heaven in the furnace, whether it be a kiln or a powerful engine.

Abram was one of the few who were against Nimrod’s venture, and he was the only one that would risk death to prevent the launching of the tower.

As it turns out Abram and his brother, Haran, were cast into the kiln, and this is how it turned out:

22 And the king's servants took Abram and his brother, and they stripped them of all their clothes excepting their lower garments which were upon them. 23 And they bound their hands and feet with linen cords, and the servants of the king lifted them up and cast them both into the furnace. 24 And the Lord loved Abram and he had compassion over him, and the Lord came down and delivered Abram from the fire and he was not burned. 25 But all the cords with which they bound him were burned, while Abram remained and walked about in the fire. 26 And Haran died when they had cast him into the fire, and he was burned to ashes, for his heart was not perfect with the Lord; and those men who cast him into the fire, the flame of the fire spread over them, and they were burned, and twelve men of them died. (Jasher 12:22-26)

God changed Abram. Before he was just “Abram” — ‘ab (father); rum “to be elevated” (Abarim Pub. 2006-2022). Nimrod meant to elevate him one way, and God another. Obviously, Nimrod desire for the father of the Hebrews to cross the expanse of the cosmos and to be elevated by him. It does seem that this was not a stationary tower but a rocket to the heavens, and that Abram was to be sent there with his God to perish with Him.

Haran burned. God did not change him because his heart was not right with the Lord. By implication, Abram’s heart was right with the Lord, and although he did nothing to save himself, except rejoice, God preserved him from the fiery flames.

Something happened! Abram was a changed man. Not only was his spirit saved but so was his flesh.

God put onto him incorruptible flesh and he was thereafter a new creation. In modern terminology, the genome of Abram was improved, and fire would not even alter the carbon in his DNA. Haran, on the other hand, returned to the dust from which he came… right then.

And Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran his son's son, and Sarai his daughter in law, his son Abram's wife; and they went forth with them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there. (Gen 11:31)

Nehemiah, years later praised God, Thou art the Lord the God, who didst choose Abram, and broughtest him forth out of Ur of the Chaldees, and gavest him the name of Abraham. (Neh 9:7)

Hidden there in scripture is something significant. God brought Abram out of “Ur of the Chaldees.” Chaldea is on the plain of Shinar where the city and tower were built. The noun “Ur” means “flame.” God took Abram, his father, and the son of Haran, as well as Sarai and sent them to another realm… to Canaan, where he was king there without any land.

Undoubted, God meant for Abram’s kingdom to be of another world because he squatted on Canaan’s land just as God said to Noah after the flood, “God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant” (Gen 9:27). Canaanites served Abraham in their land; not that he was their king but he had escaped death by fire.

It is not that Abram was from the city of Ur, but that God brought Abram out of the flame, and then, changed his name to Abraham — “the Shield” (Abarim Pub. 2006-2022).  The Hebrew “h” was added to his and Sarai’s names. Abarim explains that Hebrew “h” is silent and comes from JHWH. Symbolically, both Sarai and Abram had “God” added to their identities.

Experts say that the human DNA contains JHWG in its elements. “G” is also silent. My conclusion is that when God regenned Abram with incorruptible flesh as He will do with the dead in Christ at his coming, He changed Abram’s DNA and as the descendants of Abraham, whether biologically or spiritually, God is in our DNA as well. Abraham was both the “Shield” from the fire for them but for all those of the Covenant as well!

While in the fire, Abram’s trust for God made him a new creature in God, and as such he was “born again” and given a new righteous name; a name matching his new identity, thereafter in the image of God.

Now jump several thousand years ahead. Jesus said, “Marvel not; you must be born again” (John 3:7). Nicodemus wondered how to re-enter a mother’s womb. Long before, Abram had been born again, and regenned with new flesh, by trusting the One True God. Nicodemus would have known that, and Jesus seemed surprised that he did not, of course knowing full-well what he was not remembering.

Literally, “born again” means “engendered from above” (ibid). Abram had been engendered from above and new genes were put into every cell and chromosome of his flesh; enough that the fire would not harm him at 1800-2400 oF.

Carbon combusts at 1236 oF (Nature.com). The kiln should have sent Abram to God in flames.

Haran, on the other hand was combusted and sent to Hell because he was unrighteous and of the gens of the “fiery flying serpent” as Isaiah calls the Devil, Satan.

It should be obvious — “marvel not” — that Abraham was born again because of his faith in the fiery furnace… the same faith that the Hebrews with Moses had with the fiery brazen serpent (John 3:14).

Paul wrote about such faith, “Walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised” (Rom 4;12).

What did Abram do to be born again? He had faith; so much faith that he walked around in the fiery furnace and withstood the heat that burned his brother.

Most remember that Abram would willingly sacrifice his son, Isaac, on Mt. Moriah which some believe is Calvary, since “Moriah” is not just one mountain, but the mountains of Jerusalem; which one remains uncertain.

Few know that Abram, even before the circumcision, would be willing to sacrifice, not his son, but himself according to Jasher. He did to himself what God did to Himself.

Jesus, as God manifested, went to another realm from his “tower” — the Cross. The Cross glorified Jesus just as the tower did Abram thousands of years before, and just like Abram, Jesus also took on new, glorious flesh. Jesus too, took on a new Name — “Son of the Highest” and “LORD GOD”— the precious Name that Adam knew Him by so long before, “He shall be great, and shall be called the ‘Son of the Highest:’ and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne…” (Luke 1:32).

So now you know why to marvel not and what it takes to be born again. Abram set the example and Jesus used his example on how to get to heaven.

Nimrod never got to heaven by his own inventions. He worked hard but his castle never took off.

While they all looked on, it went unnoticed, but when Nimrod was grounded, Abram went to heaven as he was born again in the flames of the fiery furnace.

Nimrod tried mightily but Abram went there by faith, and now so many dead in Christ rest in Abraham’s Bosom (Luke 16).

Abram was baptized with fire, and thus so must we! (Mat 3:11).

YOU CANNOT CHANGE YOU

Even Christians often dismiss the idea of a “Devil” because the world has made “him” out to be a caricature.  “Him” is used loosely because “it” would be more descriptive because it is the “Beast” who can shape-shift and apparently gender-shift as well. In modern terms, the Devil would be “gender fluidic” and whatever it has a mind to be.

That is based on how the Devil has appeared to mankind throughout time; first as a “Serpent” perhaps, but more likely an “image” of evil since the Hebrew word means “image.” [1]

Since Lucifer is an angel, in this world, he would be invisible. To be made visible, requires that Lucifer materialize. The substance of Lucifer is of another world. Isaiah called Lucifer a “sarap ‘up sarap” in the Hebrew (Isa 30:8). Sarap has two meanings: fiery or poisonous and seraph. Thus, Lucifer’s poison is not so much fire but evil — wickedness. Thus, Lucifer is the “Wicked One” of scripture and his identity is a seraph angel.

The Hebrew word ‘up means not only ‘flying” but “going to and fro” such as in he did in Job 1:7. That indicates that Lucifer (Satan; the Devil; the Wicked One) is not everywhere present but limited to one place at a time.

Most often, Satan is there in spirit but assumes control of a wicked person as he did with Judas. His shape became the shape of Judas in the same manner as the Holy Ghost of Jesus was in the “bodily shape” of Jesus (Luke 3:22). The difference is that Lucifer, as Satan, enters wicked ones whereas the Spirit of God entered the Righteous One as Jesus proved when He was tempted by the Devil.

Some say, “Satan got into me, and I sinned.” That’s not quite accurate. Satan got into Eve and because He did, you, just like Cain, are of the Wicked One (1 John 3:12). Hence, Satan is not in you but its “seed” is. In genetics, that means the natural born are of the germline of Lucifer because Eve is the “mother of all living” (Gen 3:20). In other words, Cain was the first born sinner and as his name means “Wanderer,” everyone is of Cain and everyone is of the Wicked One.

Cain’s genes were different than Adam’s since He was of the Wicked One, and as such, everyone alive comes into the world with depraved genes like Cain’s!

King David understood that when he wrote:

2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. 3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. 4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. 5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. (Psalm 51:2-5)

David realized that he did not want to sin as he was a man after God’s own heart, as scripture says (Acts 13:22). However, he sinned because his flesh was shaped in “iniquity” — depraved.

“Sin” in that context is “missing the mark.” The mark of God was Adam’s Image like God’s — he was made glorious. Sin is coming short of “the glory of God” (Rom 3:23). David was not like God because he was natural born, his image was evil. He was after God’s own Heart… to do the Will of God but the flesh is weak as Jesus said (Mat 26:41). It is weak to sin and is debased because within each person there is a poison from the Wicked One that is in the genes.

The poison of sin is not in the soul but in the flesh of mankind.

Adam was the good “plant” in the Garden (Gen 1:31) but everyone else the tares. Adam was put in a sort of “greenhouse” for him to grow along with his mate to provide for mankind hope and a future.

The “greenhouses” were coats of sin of sinless lambs (Gen 3:24). They would not die because God shielded them from the world and from the Wicked One.

Satan still pursued them as the Books of Adam and Eve reveal, but God provided continual comfort and protection from the wiles of the Devil, Satan.

As such, sinners are the “tares” that should be in the Garden Paradise but whose growth was stunted by the poison of sin. So, like tares, God cast the seed of Eve into the world and it became her garden where she would be the “husbandman” as Genesis 4:1 reveals, if studied intensely enough.

Eve missed the glorious mark of God; she was meant to have dominion alongside Adam as his help-mate, but rather than them multiplying, Eve seems to have done so with the cunning assistance of Lucifer.

Adam sinned, not by what he did, but whose voice he heeded. Without any other reasons given, God told Adam, “Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife” (Gen 3:17) that he would suffer the consequences.

Adam’s sin was that rather than heeding God, he hearkened into the commands of his wife. Right then, radical feminism was born, and one of the cardinal sins should be hearkening into the voices of domineering women. That is not to say that they cannot have a voice but that their voices must speak the Word of God and not the cunning words of the Wicked One that is imbued in them by nature.

I believe that “Lilith” was the voice that Adam hearkened to; not that Eve and Lilith were different women, but that Lilith was the demon spirit inside of Eve. Who is Lilith? You ask.

Speaking of the world to come, Isaiah foresaw its evil:

13 And thorns shall come up in her palaces, nettles and brambles in the fortresses thereof: and it shall be an habitation of dragons, and a court for owls. 14 The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the wild beasts of the island, and the satyr shall cry to his fellow; the screech owl also shall rest there, and find for herself a place of rest. 15 There shall the great owl make her nest, and lay, and hatch, and gather under her shadow: there shall the vultures also be gathered, every one with her mate. (Isa 34:13-15)

David was born in iniquity. He as well have said, “Lilith is my mother” because the womb of Lilith was the “nest” in which David and all mankind were conceived. “Screech owl” therein (above) is Hebrew “Lilit” or “Lilith” in the English. Lilit is a “night spectre” — a nocturnal ghost. Lilith is the “ghost” of some body, and the Spirit that got into Eve is a likely candidate, and as the mother of all living, Lilith is in us all via the mitochondrial DNA of women.

Adam was the good plant, and because of sin and the antics of Eve ruining the “crop,” mankind are the “tares” of which Jesus spoke… unless of course, they are regenned by God above (“born again; John 3:7).

Now for the point — work as hard as you can, even by the sweat of your faces, and there is nothing that you can do to change who you are! Your total identity is encoded in your DNA, and up to now, nobody but God can change who you are. All your works to change who you are, are as filthy rags to God (Isa 64:6) because Lilith is in your mitochondrial DNA. God knew genetics and females alone can transmit that genetic code.

Although you cannot change your flesh, Jesus can!

But there is now a problem. Science can change your DNA by CRISPR-Cas9. That process can cut and paste DNA to alter the genetic code, and that creates a problem; the unborn get the genetic code of the donor. In other words, like David, the new kind of being is “shapen in iniquity” in the womb!

The purpose of CRISPR-Cas9 is to improve the person and prolong life. Is that not what “born again” means? Indeed, just as the “Serpent” warned, mankind would be as God (Gen 3:5).

Just as God cast the two out of the Garden for that same reason, perhaps now, the time is near to for God to cast the lost into a world that Isaiah foresaw; “And thorns shall come up in her palaces, nettles and brambles in the fortresses thereof: and it shall be an habitation of dragons, and a court for owls.”

That is the condition of the Earth, it seems, before God makes a new Heaven and a new Earth as John wrote about in the Revelation.

Adam and Eve were removed from the perfect economy because of sin and cast into an economy of hard work that would grow thistles and thorns, and surely tares. When God has had enough of us as gods, then surely, we too will be cast out into a world with a terrible economy!

Perhaps that apocalyptic economy is the Great Tribulation wherein to be nourished will require dependence on the new god — the Antichrist.

All evil regimes (Nazism, communism, and such) are derived from inflationary economies wherein money has very little value. As inflation becomes more severe, the people should worry more because it is the sign of the end of prosperity and makes the world ripe for tyrants — the ultimate “Wicked One” who has Satan in his genome.

As I have written before (the book, Genome of Evil), whoever it is that gets the Wikipedia genes encoded within his or her DNA will surely be the Wicked One.

Wikipedia says that it has already been readied in a genetic database for some reason, and that is the only thing that seems reasonable. The Wicked One must have all the knowledge of the world at his fingertips and Wikipedia is the Knowledge of Good and Evil. It will be the “Word” from the mouth of the false Christ.
