THE DEVIL IN YOU

Jesus, in Matthew 23, went on and on about the treachery of the scribes and Pharisees, calling them ‘serpents’ and so forth. After calling them serpents, Jesus added that they were the progeny of poisonous snakes.

Of course, those people were neither serpents nor progenitors of viviparous snakes; they were sons of the Devil, according to Jewish thinking.

One thing that makes Judeo-Christianity seem mythological is the notion of a talking serpent.

Any ‘devil’ is a supernatural spirit. The Devil — the Serpent — is the foremost supernatural spirit. That Lucifer is the devilish spirit comes from his purpose; Isaiah wrote of him it as the adversary of God (Isa 14:13-14). Satan means ‘Adversary.’

Devils are spirits that oppose God. The scribes and Pharisees were opposing Jesus, the Person of God, during His entire ministry.

Of course, the scribes and Pharisees were not supernatural spirits but natural men. However, they were daimonizomai in the Greek — possessed by devils. How do devils possess people? Devils get into them via their minds. Those cunning men were not literally snakes nor poisonous, but their natures were as the Beast — the Serpent itself.

Unlike Yahweh, Lucifer is confined by time and space. For example, demons and Satan appeared to Job from elsewhere:

There was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them. And the Lord said unto Satan, “From where do you come?” Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, “From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it” (Job 1:6:7)

There was another day when Satan presented itself to Jesus. Satan — the ‘Tempter’ — came to Jesus to tempt Him. Satan came alone. It was Satan against Jesus. The ‘Serpent’ was alive and well and still walked on the Earth. Unlike God, Satan is confined to the world, and as it turned out, Jesus was not; He overcame the world.

The Serpent was not in the scribes and Pharisees. It could not be in multiple people at one time. The Devil was certainly in King Herod the Great because he was the first adversary of Jesus, seeking Him in His infancy. Of course, Satan entered Judas (Luke 22:3), and with Judas dead, surely Satan entered Caiphas the chief priest.

How did Satan enter unto all those various people: genetically is one answer. He was in their genes, so to enter them spiritually was an easy task.

Herod was Jewish outwardly but Arab inwardly.

Judas’s lineage is unknown but since he was from Kerioth, Judas was at least partly Arab.

How about Caiaphas? He was of the ‘House of Ananias’ and chief priest after the five sons of Ananias. As the son-in-law of Ananias, Caiphas would inherit the family name by genealogy rather than spirituality. Although Jewish, Caiaphas was the generation of vipers from Ananias, his sons, and then himself.

The point therein is that the ‘Serpent’ Satan is not in anyone but the most adversarial person at any given time.

From a historical perspective, when Simon the Sorcerer received the Spirit, it was not the Holy Spirit, but Satan entered him. In the early Church it was the Gnosticism of Simon Magus that haunted Christianity, and most certainly it was Simon who was the ‘thorn’ in the side of Paul, “There was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me” (2 Cor 12:7). Ostensibly, Simon became the messenger of Satan who troubled Paul during his journeys.

So, if you think that Satan made you do anything, unless you are a very significant person, you are giving Satan too much credit. He is not in you, but you are of him because the genes of the Serpent are in you, just as Cain was of the Wicked One (1 John 3:12). As the son of Cain, you are of the Wicked One yourself in your natural state.

Satan is in you, not in spirit, but in your nature. You, if you have not been born again, think like Lucifer. You magnify yourselves as if you all are gods!

What were the scribes and Pharisees doing? They were essentially making a name for themselves at the expense of God. By pursuing and diminishing Jesus, they were exalting themselves. Jesus only pointed out to them that their natures were like the Beast; that they were progeny of Cain, thus them raising Cain to prominence.

Jesus nailed it: “You (all) make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess” (Mat 23:35). Although they were ceremonially clean outwardly, their genetics were daimonizomai — possession by demons. Demons had gotten into them genetically as they too were not really ‘sons of Aaron’ but ‘sons of Cain.’

Adam was the first chief priest. As the first supposed son of Adam (Gen 4:1), Cain was the second chief priest by the law of primogeniture, albeit he was not even the son of Adam but the ‘son of the Serpent.’

Satan got into everyone, but Jesus, genetically, hence any mention of ‘gens’ in any word in the Bible points toward genetics.

David confessed how sin got into himself, “I was shapen in iniquity” (Psalm 51:5). King David was depraved because it was in his genetics.

When Jesus used “generation of vipers” he revealed to the scribes and Pharisees how the Serpent got into them. They were born that way since none of them had experienced rebirth. If you have not been born again, you too are a viper because the blood of Cain is in you.

Jesus was talking genetics; “That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the Earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom you slew between the temple and the altar” (Mat 23:35). Because the scribes, Pharisees, and all the unredeemed are of Cain, they are as responsible as Cain of murdering righteous Able.

Hopefully, it has been demonstrated that Cain was not the son of Adam, and not of God. His father was the Devil, and so it is for the sons of Cain. The scribes, as old-timers say, were indeed ‘raising Cain.’

Jesus raised righteous Abel. Now for some conjecture… if Cain was of the Wicked One and Eve, “the mother of all living” (Gen 3:20), then Abel was the son of God and the woman.

Adam, unlike Eve, was not the father of all living. Jesus called Abel ‘righteous’ and as the son of the Wicked One, Cain was unrighteous.

I submit that Abel was of God. “The Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering” (Gen 4:4) and not Cain (Gen 4:5). It was surely because Cain was not the son of God, but Abel was. Perhaps God created Abel to atone for the sins of Cain, but Cain rejected the grace of God and killed his ‘Savior.’

Abel was to cover the sins of Cain with the blood of his lamb. However, Cain would endeavor to cover his own sins without the shedding of blood. Blood must be shed for the redemption of sins, and Cain thought that the works of his own hands were sufficient! “Without shedding of blood is no remission” (Heb 9:22).

As for the blood of Zacharias, he came to the princes of Judah to condemn them and they killed him, “They conspired against him, and stoned him with stones at the commandment of the king in the court of the house of the Lord” (2 Chron 24:21). Zechariah shed his blood for the remission of the sins of the royal house. Blood must be shed for the remission of sins, and that applied all the way from the killing of Abel and Zachariah, and to Jesus.

Blessed are we, because Jesus shed His own blood for even our genetic sins — “sins that are past” (Rom 3:25). Thanks to the blood of Jesus fixing our genetics, Christians are no longer of the Serpent, and Satan is no longer in us.

GRAVITY OF ALL THINGS SEEN

Nowhere in the Bible (that I have found) is gravity mentioned specifically. However, the very word ‘gravity’ means weighty or grave.

Gravity is a weak force compared to nuclear energy, but gravity is so strong that it holds all existence together.

If what we see as ‘existence’ are particles of matter in space, then antimatter would be the unseen particles of matter with much different internal properties. Recently discovered by science in 2023, that although much different, both matter and antimatter are subject to gravity.

Gravity rules the universe. All things are subject to gravity. If anyone endeavors to lift or carry things made of matter, at some point in the process matter overcomes them because of the invisible force of gravity. Since gravity is so mysterious and foundational why was it that gravity is not mentioned in scripture! Because gravity was unknown in those days, except by God and perhaps Enoch.

However, perhaps it is in the Bible! Take for instance the resurrection of the dead saints that arose with Jesus at the Resurrection:

The graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, and came out of the graves after His resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. (Mat 27:52-53)

Long dead material — the residue of bodies (matter) — was beneath the ground. They were incapable of doing anything because they were nothing more than dead weight. Their remains were in the ground and subject to gravity. The ground held them in their graves. Gravity was what contained them.

If not for gravity, long before that time, the absence of that weightiness would have released them from the Earth and their remains would have floated as if there was nothing constraining them.

Gravity implies death, would you not say?

Think of the effects of gravity on human beings. The robust and elastic-like flesh of a newborn baby, given enough time sags to the extent that its elasticity and liveliness is gone. Stretch the skin of a baby and it rebounds; stretch the skin of an aged person and it sags. Gravity ages. The living body cannot even sustain flesh.

After the first original sin, the flesh of Adam and his woman did not die immediately but withered for over 900 years until they could endure the world no more. Gravity withered their flesh and Adam and Eve aged.

The ‘world’ seems to be anything that is subject to a gravitational field. One of the consequences of sin was directed at Adam, “In the sweat of your face shall you eat bread, till you return unto the ground; for out of it was you taken: for dust you are, and unto dust shall you return” (Gen 3:19).

Work was first defined right then after the first sin. Gravity would take its toll on Adam. It is implied that there was an absence of work in the paradisical Garden of Eden. Therein, God would have provided and there would be no work therein; they would eat manna from heaven with no toil on their part.

(For more on that idea, review my commentary “VEGAN MAN OR CARNAL MAN;” Aug 1, 2022).

Even standing upright is work. To stand erect, the first man would have no gravity to overcome him. It would require work to overcome the weightiness of Paradise if it had weight to overcome. Weight is resistance to particle movement to put it simply. When a person stands on a scale, the scale measures the force to overcome the body of matter upon it.

God cast Adam and his mate out of Paradise (Gen 3:24), ostensibly to the world where there was gravity because work would be required by them to even eat. Without God who is in heaven, the man and woman would need to overcome the world unassisted. It was gravity that would hinder them and age them at the same time.

Time is basically a measurement of gravity. Time is measured by the orbit of the Earth around the sun and the moon about the Earth. They remain in orbit because of gravity that holds them back against flying haphazardly out of the universe. As such, it is gravity that ages because it is the source of time!

At the Terrible Day of the Lord (The Wrath of God) something severe will happen:

And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casts her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. (Rev 6:13-14)

God uses gravity to redo what He has done. The sixth seal is the absence of gravity. Stars are held in their orbits by gravity, and when the stars fall, it is not toward anything, but just a forever falling away into the nothingness of unwanted space.

The “earth” in that context is not planet Earth but solids (Strong 2006) made up of matter. Not so much them falling, the stars will disintegrate into the particles, or dust, from which they came. Gravity will explode them and with that done, without bodies of matter, there will be no more time, given that the Sun is a measurement of time.

The genesis of the earth (all solid matter) will be undone. The heaven (and the bodies within) will roll up as a scroll. The Creation will be undone.

Now think backwards in time; Isaiah envisioned the Creation:

Have you not known? Have you not heard? Has it not been told you from the beginning? Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth? It is He that sits upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretches out the heavens as a curtain, and spreads them out as a tent to dwell in. (Isa 40:21-22)

In the beginning, according to Isaiah the prophet, God unfurled the cosmos as a curtain would be unrolled. He saw that from the past event — the Creation.

John saw into the future. He saw the curtain that God unrolled in the beginning (before time) rolled back up like a scroll. God will undo what He did in the beginning and redo it for the Resurrection. He will Create a new heaven and a new earth.

Sometime later, Isaiah saw into the future and, beheld, God creating new heavens and a new earth: “and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.” (Isa 65:17). That corresponds with John’s vision hundreds of years later, “I (John) saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. (Rev 21:1).

The root of the Greek word translated ‘sea’ is salt (ibid). Salt is a basic compound of matter. It may be that the heavenly bodies disintegrate, leaving nothing material. In other words, without matter, there should be no more gravity to overcome.

If the new heaven is that way, then the old heaven — the realm of the Garden of Eden — would be without particle mass as we know it and without mass, no weightiness or gravity.

I propose that Adam and Eve were cast out of Paradise in heaven and into the world wherein gravity would overcome them. All the work that they would do themselves would never overcome the gravity of the world. Only God could subdue the effects of gravity.

There remains a huge problem with that hypothesis: That God first created the ‘phantom’ of man — his soul (Gen 1:27), then made him material, to wit: “The Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul” (Gen 2:7). God formed the man. He did all the work and gravity would have no part in his delivery from the ‘womb’ of God. Gravity is what gives birth. The being inside has weight and gravity attracts the unborn to the world.

Man was formed from dust, as scripture says, but the essence of mankind, as well as the other kinds, are their specific DNA. Not to be New Age, science has proposed that fossil fuels are not fossils at all, but dust from ancient and massive stars in their formation at extremely high temperatures. Carbon, from which our carbon chain comes, comes from ancient stars. The ingredients of mankind, as well as animal kind (life itself), was generated by God before the foundation of the world. My hunch is that the material for Adam’s body was carbon dust, not from the ground of the Earth but the matter from distant stars. (That is the apologetics for my hypothesis that Adam and his woman were first in Paradise in heaven before they were cast out to the world.)

Much of this is speculation that goes beyond traditional theology. However, it is somewhat supported by Jesus, speaking of Himself He said, “In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).

How did Jesus do that? He arose! He overcame gravity as He ascended into Paradise within the realm of heaven. My proposition is that there are no graves or gravity in Paradise. John wrote, “Who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believes that Jesus is the Son of God?” (1 John 5:5).

Those who believe that Jesus is God, overcome the world, obviously at the rapture when they are removed from the grave and gravity to be with Jesus in the heavens.

There must be a distinction between this realm and that one, the seen and the unseen. The seen consists of particles of matter, but the unseen a substance that cannot be beheld. The properties of the things here and there are much different. Perhaps it is a massless realm where massless things exist and of a substance that gravity is not required to exist. God alone is the Power therein to keep things in their places, as John saw in the Revelation.

Just as God is the Light, perhaps God is capable of bending the light without gravity to do that work; especially since He is Almighty God!

Did science find that gravity effects antimatter particles, or was that another of Lucifer’s cunning deceptions, taking away the Glory and Power of God to do things that they attribute to the ‘Unknown God’ — Gravity.

In mythology, it was Atlas who held the Earth in its place. What he was standing on is not revealed, but if there is a ‘God of Gravity’ in mythology, it would be Atlas and perhaps he was the ‘Unknown God’ that Paul revealed to them that is really Jesus.

With that evidence, perhaps there is no gravity or graves in Paradise!

LIVING PROOF OF AN INVISIBLE GOD

Today, like Paul long before, we will visit Mars Hill in Athens. Not stopping there for long, we will visit the Palatine Hill in Rome.

Mars Hill in Athens Greece is the location of the Areopagus — the Hill of Ares. Ares is the Olympian God of War, called ‘Mars’ by the Romans.

Paul visited that stoney craig to debate the philosophers there:

Paul stood in the midst of Mars' hill, and said, “You men of Athens, I perceive that in all things you are too superstitious. For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, ‘To The Unknown God.’ Whom therefore you ignorantly worship, Him declare I unto you. God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that He is Lord of heaven and Earth, dwelled not in temples made with hands.’” (Acts 17:22-23)

Greece, like Rome and many important city states, had twelve principle known gods, or six pairs of male and female gods. Their names are unimportant, but the Roman gods were the gods of the Greeks given other names.

Athens had an ‘Unknown God’ (Agnostos Theos) — a God without a name. He was an invisible God without a statue with only an altar. Agnostos Theos had a temple; and the Greeks would swear in the name of the Unknown God.

The Greeks ignorantly worshipped Him, but Paul came to declare to them who it was they were worshipping. He identified their Unknown God as the One who made the world and all things, and that their Unknown God was the Lord of heaven and Earth. Paul added that God did not dwell in manmade temples. Therefore, He could not be found in their temple.

Paul implied that the Greeks already worshipped the Invisible God but failed to recognize who it was that they worshipped.

The Egyptians, prior to Greece, also had an Unknown God, and so did the Romans later in history. There has always been an Unknown God of whom everybody, but the Jews, worshipped.

Moses worshipped the Known God, “I AM THAT I AM,” (Exod 3;14). Moses was not ignorant of the God that he worshipped, although that One God was invisible, and Paul identified Him specifically; speaking of Jesus Paul wrote that He is:

In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the Image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in Earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him. (Col 1:14-16)

Paul revealed to the philosophers in Athens that they got it right, but were ignorant of their own findings.

All the other gods had images and many of them temples. The Unknown God had just an altar; He had no Image in ancient times whether it be in Egypt, Greece, or Rome. Now Paul declared to the world on his journeys that the Invisible God now had an Image.

The ‘Mystery of God’ is that the Creator, although invisible, would be made manifest and given an Image. Ignorant people always needed an image to worship, and the manifestation of God in flesh is that very Image. When the Greeks saw Jesus, they were revealed their invisible God.

There were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at the feast: The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, “Sir, we would see Jesus” (John 12:20-21)

They wished to see their Unknown God in the flesh. Greeks were not so ignorant after all for some had realized before Paul’s journey that Jesus was the living ‘Statue’ of their Unknown God.

Paul wrote to the Romans that Jesus, “now is (God) made manifest” (Rom 16:26).

The Romans were as ignorant as the Greek philosophers, so Paul made them wiser. They too had an “Unknown God’ just off the Field of Mars on the Palatine Hill — a God without a name; the Invisible and thereto Unknown God that Livy (Titus Livius), the historian, called the “God of Utterance.”

Figure 1: Twelve Hills of Rome; Wikipedia

Now for a little early Roman history of which Livy wrote: Rome had a history of fighting their known enemies. Livy wrote about the wars of the early Romans (350 years of war and peace) prior to the time of Christ just as Flavius Josephus wrote about the Wars of the Jews up to the same approximate era. Josephus wrote much about the twelve tribes of Israel. They were the heroes of the Jews, albeit they were not gods.

All the other civilizations had multiple gods. Egypt, Greece, and Rome all had twelve gods. Perhaps they ignorantly worshipped the One True Invisible God, but did so ignorantly as well. Perhaps their progenitors misunderstood the Abrahamic Covenant and made their tribal leaders out to be gods. Of course, that hypothesis is speculation but why else would a twelve-god deity be so common and would parallel the planning of the Invisible God?

During the reign of the Greek Empire, Rome was under construction. Empires exist to fulfill the purposes of God. Just as Assyrian and Babylonian Empires were created to punish the disobedient Hebrews, the Persian Empire was created by God’s grace to restore the Kingdom of David. Likewise, the Greek Empire was created to prepare the world for the coming of Christ, and the Roman Empire for God to appear to the world.

The twelve-god-deity was called ‘Olympians’ by the Greeks, whereas the monotheistic Godhead is called the Holy Trinity with Jesus as the one and only true ‘Olympian.’ The multiple gods of the Romans were Omniglots — their version of Olympians.

However, Olympians were thought to be visible gods, albeit mythological, they were non-existent gods whereas the Unknown God is ‘Existence’ as He revealed to Moses. The Unknown God was the only real God that both the Greeks and Romans acknowledged but failed to worship properly.

Little is known of the Greek ‘Unknown God,’ but Livy wrote a goodly amount about the Roman ‘Unknown God’ — the “God of Utterance.”

Strangely, their God of Utterance seemed to be the apostle John’s vision of the Invisible God, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God” (John 1:1-2), Then John identified the Invisible God, “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His Glory…” (John 1:14).

The Glory of God that they beheld was the man, Jesus.

Both the Greeks and Romans had altars without a statue of God upon them. They failed to behold His Glory, so God came in bodily shape (Luke 3:22) onto Jesus, for them to be able to behold the Glory of God.

John inferred that Jesus was the Unknown God all the time, but in ignorance neither the Greeks, Romans, nor even the Jews saw Jesus as the Glory of God!

Livy wrote about a sage who the ‘God of Utterance’ (‘The Word’) revealed to him. That God could not be seen but the sage did hear him.

Unknown to the Romans before, and neglected in history, were the pagan Gauls (Celtics). They were people beyond the highest Apennine mountain range who were unknown to the Romans except by legend.

The message of the sage was not taken seriously; the God of Utterance — the Invisible God — had sent a message by the sage that the Gauls would attack Rome, and that they must be vigilant. The Romans failed to take the warning seriously, and the savage brutes from beyond the mountains attacked and destroyed Rome. The Romans had failed to believe, not necessarily, the messenger, but the Invisible ‘God of Utterance’ — John’s ‘Word’ God.

Having supposedly learned their lesson after defeat and grace by the Gauls, finally they took the Invisible God more seriously. They built an altar to the Altare Del Dio Ignoto — ‘The Altar of the Unknown God’ shown below:

Figure 2: Altar of the Unknown God; Wikipedia

That altar was discovered in 1820 on the Palatine Hill in Rome but it was always there since ancient times.

Livy wrote about it beginning in 29 BC, perhaps to reveal before Jesus came, the coming of the Unknown God.

It can be assumed that there was one on Mars Hill in Athens that Paul found there sometime before 90 AD. Both cities had their Unknown God whose only manifestation was utterance of the Word as truth.

The truth that the God of Utterance revealed was that an unknown people would destroy Rome. Livy ended his history of the first and only destruction of Rome and by the Gauls.

The God of Utterance had revealed the truth and only after that became true, did they recognize their Unknown God as a real god. It took hundreds of years for them to put a face on their Unknown God and both the Greeks (Orthodoxy) and the Romans (Catholicism) put the Divine Face of Jesus above the Altar of the Unknown God.

So, now history has verified that the Romans and Greeks had an Unknown God that became known to them. The Altar of the Unknown God in Rome revealed to mankind that even the ancients all over the world knew there was an Invisible God but failed to heed Him. They always needed images of their gods, so God in His Wisdom made for Himself a Living Image that took the nations years to understand.

With that said, the world still has their Agnostic god; the one that they still doubt because they fail to believe that Jesus is God, even with Living Proof of it!

ABOUT THE FLESH

Matthew chapter twenty-three is lengthy about the hypocrisy of the scribes and Pharisees. Clearly, those who obey the outward laws, but not the inward ones are in mortal danger, as Jesus indicated.

Everyone, before they are born again, have a problem with the flesh — the outward man. Even those who call themselves ‘Christians,’ cherish the flesh, according to Paul, “No man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it” (Ephes 5;29).

With that said, even Christians have loved their own flesh, but since rebirth changes the inward person, Christians are to crucify their flesh. “They that are in the flesh cannot please God” (Rom 8:8).

“They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God” (Rom 9:8).

There is a century of passages about the flesh in the New Testament alone. Cutting off the flesh of the foreskin (circumcision) is not even a good start; the true circumcision is of the heart, to wit: “Circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God” (Rom 2:29).

I have had a problem understanding nakedness in the beginning, “They were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed” (Gen 2:25). Nakedness implies in the flesh. Both Adam and Eve were literally bare before they sinned. They were transparent and no sin was in them. Perhaps they were without what we think of as flesh which of course would conceal the innermost person.

It could be that the two did have flesh, but with ‘bright eyes’ the flesh did not conceal what was inside. (The concept of Adam and Eve with bright natures and bright eyes comes from the Books of Adam and Eve.)

Just as the resurrected Christian shall be glorified, perhaps within the Garden Paradise, Adam and Eve were glorified. They had flesh but it was not stained by sin. They could see the inward part — the soul — as if the flesh was not even there!

Sin stained their glorious flesh. It hid the inward man and woman. After sinning, Adam and Eve did the next best thing to circumcision, “And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves aprons” (Gen 3:7).

They saw things differently. No longer was their flesh transparent, but opaque. The Serpent did something to their flesh which changed it drastically!

Another meaning of ‘naked’ from the Hebrew is cunning, or subtilty. Before sin, the glorious flesh of Adam and Eve was transparent, but after sin, their nakedness was just like the Serpent’s (Gen 3:1).

Nahas, the name translated ‘Serpent,’ has a second meaning as well. It is literally an ‘image.’ If God did provide for them a transparent Image like His own (Selem in the Hebrew), the Wicked One, Lucifer, altered the glorious Image and made it like His own — inglorious, or crafty. David called that stained flesh ‘iniquity’, or depravity (Psalm 51:5).

Not to hurt your precious self-esteem, but you are not to be esteemed for you have been made crafty by your ancestral sin. It is in your kind to be crafty, and the flesh reveals that you are more brutish than godly.

Just as Cain is of the Wicked One (1 John 3;12). Your father, if you have not been reborn, is the Devil, Lucifer, “You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do” (John 8:44).

“For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world (1 John 2:16). Since Satan is the ‘Prince of the Power of the Air’ (Ephes 2:2), his Spirit works in you.

Like Lucifer, “The Bringer of Light,’ outwardly we see ourselves as beautiful and lustrous, but that is a façade; we are depraved inside.

Am I building up your self-esteem? Yes, you do love your own flesh and that is the problem with man. We are not even Adam’s kind (adamah in the Hebrew), but ‘is (pronounced eesh) — another existence, not of God.

Lust is a desire to appease the flesh. In a sense, that makes our flesh the ‘god’ that must be appeased. We see that everyday and take it for granted. The world is all about exalting the flesh.

Witness the cosmetic commercials and fashion trends. Clothes are no longer to cover the flesh, except against the elements, but to accent the flesh. Clothing is now more for concealing our flaws than for comfort. Fashionable clothing even disguises the brutishness within us!

A nudist colony resembles a pig pen. As much as people like pig hams, they lust after women’s butt twerking. What the world sees as beautiful, look more intensely; those women that we lust after have skins like the animals that are for enduring the world. Look closely and you can see twerking women as dangling, non-kosher hams.

God adapted mankind. The flesh that Satan stained with his genetics would not last in the world, so by grace, God made for Adam and Eve “coats of skin” (Gen 3:21). Perhaps that is the naked body that we see so much of today. The flesh was meant to protect our kind from the fiery darts of the Wicked One, but rather than for our comfort in the world, the flesh became our glory!

People even parade around in their flesh as if they are peacocks. The phallus has become the symbol of man, and it is erected like steeples above our own churches.

The woman’s pubic mound — the mons Venus — represents the worship of idols in high places… no wonder false religions worship on mountain tops.

By the time of Noah, the gods of the world had become phalluses and pubic mounds as the new kinds coupled with impunity (Gen 6:4), and even with children, according to sacred literature!

So many regard the flesh so highly that exotic clothing is not enough. They decorate the flesh with all sorts of perfumes, rouges, and ointments. Death does not become the Eve’s of the world, and they will do about anything to appear more alive than they really are; the same goes for many men.

Those hoodies that men wear in the summer heat; they are not for comfort but to project an image. So, it is with pants down to the floor. The image projected is I don’t care, I will do whatever I want to do.

Truth is not in vogue. If you want to make someone angry, point out something about their flesh. Just tell someone that their brightly colored hair or their coiffure is extravagant, and anger will ensue. Just tell them that God’s will is that they not to cut nor stain their fleshes, and their innermost existence will show itself. (We now have a new Crown Law enacted that forbids discrimination due to hair-do’s. How silly is that!)

Some things should not be used to judge the person, but they remain the will of God regardless. Paul wrote about adornment of Christians:

Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; but let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. (1 Pet 3:3-4)

So much for the Crown Law!

Certainly, well-manicured hair will not condemn the wearer to Hell, but modesty of hair and apparel remains the will of God. The outward person reveals the inward spirit.

God issued many commands for the good of mankind. He commanded, “You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the Lord” (Lev 19:28). Again, cuttings, piercings, and tattoos will not condemn you, but that command remains the very will of God.

What do styles and fads have to do with Christianity? They copy the world and not God!

In effect, styles and fads decorate our fleshes as if they are gods.

Men are as trees walking, so said the blind man (Mark 8:24). We decorate our bodies as if we are trees walking. Those who decorate themselves to the extreme are much like decorated Christmas Trees that are neither ‘trees of Christ’ but for us.

Seldom does any preacher criticize the fleshes of the members of the congregation. Perhaps it is because we hang onto the things of the flesh, making the flesh more precious than the will of God.

Our fleshes are our enemies, but noble Christians are, “they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts” (Gal 5:24).

Things that make you look good or feel good that are contrary to scripture identifies to whom you really belong. Becoming a Christian does not take away desires of the flesh, but the Word is the shield that removes the temptations of the flesh. Self-restraint belongs to you, but when people fail to demonstrate restraint, then their spirits are exposed to whom they really belong.

The reader may consider this commentary an attack on them. God forbid that the things of the world are attacked, even though they belong to Satan.

I have dressed like a penguin, and at times, even as gawdy as a parrot. I even attempted to tattoo myself when I was seventeen. I am not immune to the desires of the flesh. I have even looked at the fleshes of women with lust in my heart, but the things that I have done are not of God. This commentary is an attack upon myself as I too have come short of the glory of God.

Glory was perhaps translucent flesh so that my soul could be seen by those in the Garden of God; by the angels, other beings and kinds, and God Himself.

With that said, God is Almighty; our flesh is transparent to Him, and it is the soul that He sees. He looks beyond the flesh if we are reborn and examines only the soul within. That is grace, and the ‘coats of skin’ that we wear are grace upon us that is essentially God’s grace (Gen 6:8). God sees beyond the flesh but that is still not a ticket to expose or exalt the flesh.

Now that you know that the flesh is the enemy of us, that you can control it better, as if it is a wild animal roaming the world, just looking for carnal things to do!

HISTORY REPEATS, REPEATS AND REPEATS

Jesus still talking to the scribes and Pharisees said to them, “Whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted” (Mat 23:12), then He pointed out to them how they exalt themselves. Apparently, there were some good among them because Jesus said, “He that is greatest among you shall be your servant.” (Mat 23:11).

Greatness is generally attributed to those whose name is well known. However, being well-known is more of a curse than a blessing. Some in government, for instance, say they want to serve you, all the while making both a name and profit for themselves.

Pharisees were Jewish politicians and the scribes the ‘bureaucrats’ who traveled with them to support their narratives. Pharisees, once being great in Jewish history, desired to be great again. They most certainly aspired to political power for themselves. For them, Jesus was a roadblock to power who became the enemy of those who count. The Pharisees were basically ‘anti-Christers’ who desired anyone but Christ to lead them. They hated Jesus just because He was Jesus.

Jesus, on the other hand, had no desire to be King of the Jews, although as the ‘son of David’ he was one of the best known of the heirs to the throne of David.

Paul wrote about Jesus, “(He) made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: and being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross” (Ephes 2:7-8).

If Jesus had exalted Himself before men, He would have been abased, according to His own words. Furthermore, if He humbled Himself, He would be exalted, and for Christians, Jesus is indeed exalted.

How did Jesus demonstrate His humility? In many ways, but the most obvious was His ‘Triumphal Entry’ into Jerusalem. Jesus was to ride a donkey, accompanied by its mother, according to prophecy:

Tell you the daughter of Sion, “Behold, your King comes to you, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass,” and the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them, and brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set Him thereon. (Mat 21:5-7)

Jesus became ‘King of kings,’ in the manner of Caesar, but riding on a donkey. Contrast that entry to Jerusalem to victorious kings, dictators, and Caesars entering Rome. Each of them sat on a white horse and were exalted by the Roman citizens and governors.

Those who made a name for themselves did not exalt Jesus; they humiliated Him, and the humiliation made Him great in the eyes of those who knew the truth.

There was much politicking going on at the time of Jesus. Everybody but Jesus who had made a name for himself aspired to be king of the Jews: Herodians, Hasmoneans, Pharisees, thieves, zealots, and terrorist sicarii who killed with impunity to inherit the throne of David.

I am certainly not a proponent of the so called ‘wall of separation between state and religion.’ Why? Because the ‘wall’ has always been a one-way barrier, keeping Christians out of the government all the while allowing the government to abase religion, most often Christianity.

Note that Rome was always open to any religion, even Judaism, but when Christianity came to their city, suddenly tolerant Romans became persecutors of Christians.

Only the apostate church has been welcomed in Rome to this day.

The tolerant Roman government, since Nero, has always diminished Jesus. As Romans persecuted Christians, Christianity multiplied. Ironically, it was the intolerance of the Romans that promulgated the Law of God, “The Lord God took the man, and put him into the Garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it” (Gen 2:15). The Romans did that and magnified Jesus by persecuting Him and Christians. Rome grew Christianity, not by worship, but by intolerance.

When God put mankind over the Garden (Israel), it was God’s way of promulgating the Garden of the Lord; first it was with the Assyrians, then the Babylonians, followed by the Persians, Greeks, and Romans. God was using mankind to dress and keep His Garden, Israel. [1]

As the people became more intolerant of and hateful toward Christianity, the more it grew.

In this age, politics works the same way. The spread of Christianity has always been political. Even the humiliation of Christ — the crucifixion — was a very political event in the same manner as Julius Caesar was killed by aspiring politicians led by Brutus, Longinus, and Albinas. They killed Caesar to attain power for themselves, but it would not be them that attained power. Their failed government was a sort of triumvirate like the previous Roman one that had power, but it was never meant to be!

Just as Caesars would enter Rome after their victories, such as Vespasian, Titus, and Domitian after the destruction of the Temple, Jesus entered in triumph to Jerusalem as if he would be King. The people cheered because ethnic Judiah had been long without a king.

Although they cheered then for the assumed victor — Jesus — the would be king was assassinated by conspirators who did not want Israel to be great again, but for themselves have the power again. At that time, the Romans were a sort of a protectorate to keep malefactors such as Barabbas and the thieves on their crosses from gaining power.

You have likely never been taught that, but the crucifixion of Jesus was very much like the assassination of Julius Caesar by the pretenders to become a triumvirate: Brutus, Longinus, and Albinas.

The Jewish contenders for the throne of Judea was also a triumvirate in the manner of the Romans. According to Josephus, factions led by Simon bar Giaora, John of Gischala, and Eleazar ben Simon destroyed the Temple while the future Caesar, Titus, tried to save what he could of both the Temple and the city.

It was likely members of those factions who were on their crosses beside Jesus.

All that to say that Jesus was assassinated by those who sought political power.

Only Pontius Pilate who was acting king and Caesar held the power in Jerusalem that day, and even he sought to save Jesus. It was really Rome that dressed and kept the ‘Garden’ for it to multiply!

Jesus could not be defeated by humiliation, so since He stood in their way to power, Jesus had to die. His death was indeed a political conspiracy with one common theme — Anyone but Jesus. They were ‘Never Christers’ in the same manner as “Never Trumpers’ of this era.

That is not to say that Trump is a ‘Christ,’ but is in a way, a ‘Pontius Pilate’ who believed that Jesus was who He said He was.

Pilate endeavored to salvage Jesus. He saw no problem in Jesus being great again. The Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem had not been a threat to the rule of Pilate, but to those who craved the Judean throne. The popularity of Jesus did not trouble the Romans because he taught love and peace. What troubled Caesar and Pilate was the shadow government under the aforenamed Jewish Triumvirate! Members of their factions were there the day that Jesus was assassinated and one of the criminals escaped his punishment. My bet is that Barabbas many have appeared at the destruction of Jerusalem as freed prisoners often are.

There is a shadow government out to re-crucify Jesus. It is a worldwide conspiracy that has been known for time immemorial. It is not led by Obama or even Biden. Neither is it by Donald Trump. The conspiracy is the Devil, Lucifer, himself who issued a manifesto long ago:

‘The Luciferin Manifesto:’

I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. (Isa 14:13-14)

That was ‘Satan’s Manifesto’ the day that Jesus died. Judas, with Satan in him, died that day, and the Holy Ghost escorted Satan and sin to Hell.

Lucifer has his ‘godhead’ in the manner of the Christian Godhead. Whereas the Christian Godhead is “King of kings, and Lord of lords” in one Person, Jesus (Rev 17:14), the Luciferin godhead is the Devil ‘Satan,’ the Beast, and the False Prophet (Rev 20:10). Those images in a person makes him the ‘Antichrist” whoever he may be at the time.

In a sense, the end-of-time government will be a godhead or triumvir much like the Godhead and the Roman Triumvirate.

The modern ‘triumvir’ is the foul global government, the apostate church, and shadow of dignitaries that run everything from their cocoon in group meetings and who decide the fate of everything. They dictate things to the world governments and those governments make them law. Even the universal church heeds their commands as if God is sub-servient to mankind!

That, readers, is why I promote Trump for president. He is the “Pontius Pilate’ of our era who, although a great sinner, sees Jesus as God. Most of the other contenders for world leader are mere instruments in Satan’s conquest for power.

No, Biden is not the Antichrist nor is he Satan. He is a ‘useful fool’ who obeys the command of the shadow government and who seems to be paid well for his part in overthrowing the dominion of Christ in this New Age — The Age of Aquarius — the ‘Luciferin Age.’

This present age is Lucifer exalting himself. Why cannot people see that?

[1][1] Scripture supports the notion that Israel is the Garden of God in Eden before time began. Likewise geographic names supplement that notion. Lot even saw the land of Canaan as the “Garden of the Lord” (Gen 3:10) and the Jordan River is the Naral Ha Yarden in the Hebrew — the ‘Garden of the Lord.’

THE HOUSE OF MOSES

Jesus started the discussion with the saying, “The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses's seat” (Mat 23:2). That seems onerous but the hidden history of Moses must be understood.

Moses was most certainly very powerful during the reign of Pharoah Ahmose I. Several of the family of Ahmose were named ‘Ahmose.’

Ahmose I established the New Kingdom after the defeat of the Hebrew friendly Hyksos who were Pharaohs during the royal reign of Joseph, second only to Pharoah.

The Hyksos are believed to be of Canaanite origin. They ruled only the delta region of Egypt simultaneously with the sixteenth and seventeenth dynasties of the Egyptians. Ahmose I established a ‘New Kingdom’ from the foundation of the fifteenth through eighteenth dynasties.

Several subsequent names of the Pharaohs consisted of the root word ‘Mose’ — Thutmose I, II, and III. The name ‘Mose’ is truly Egyptian. Many linguists accept that “Mose’ means ‘Son of’ or ‘child of.’ For instance, Ahmose (also Amosis) would be ‘child of the moon.’ Mose would just be child, or son, of whom was unknown to the sister of Pharoah when she named him.

The name ‘Mose,’ later called ‘Moses’ by the Hebrews, was an Egyptian and royal name as well. His name was basically “son of Pharoah,’ and Moses was part of the New Kingdom Dynasty.

The Book of Jasher is mentioned in scripture several times. The following is about Moses from that book:

1 And Moses, the son of Amram, was still king in the land of Cush in those days, and he prospered in his kingdom, and he conducted the government of the children of Cush in justice, in righteousness, and integrity.

2 And all the children of Cush loved Moses all the days that he reigned over them, and all the inhabitants of the land of Cush were greatly afraid of him.

3 And in the fortieth year of the reign of Moses over Cush, Moses was sitting on the royal throne whilst Adoniah the queen was before him, and all the nobles were sitting around him.

4 And Adoniah the queen said before the king and the princes, “What is this thing which you, the children of Cush, have done for this long time?”

5 “Surely you know that for forty years that this man has reigned over Cush he has not approached me, nor has he served the gods of the children of Cush.”

6 “Now therefore hear, O ye children of Cush, and let this man no more reign over you as he is not of our flesh.” (Jasher 76:1-5)

The land of Cush (Kush, Nubia) was once part of greater Egypt, “Much of Nubia came under Egyptian rule during the New Kingdom period (1550–1070 BC)” (Wikipedia 2023).

The New Kingdom era began with Ahmose I and in Jasher, it states that Moses, at that time (ca 1550), was King of Cush.

Jesus compared the scribes and Pharisees to Moses; them sitting on Moses’s seat, the throne of Moses. They were acting as if they were kings! Moses was sitting on a ‘royal throne’ ultimately in conjunction with Ahmose I. In comparison to the Romans, Ahmose I was a ‘Caesar’ and Moses a royal king in the House, or Dynasty, of Pharoah.

As far as Pharoah Ahmose knew, Moses was without father or mother in the manner of the biblical Melchizedek. Speaking of that ‘priest,’ Paul wrote that he was “King of peace, without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually” (Heb 7:2-3).

Melchizedek may have been the pre-incarnate Jesus and as King of Salem, that did not mean Jerusalem perchance but just a place of peace.

Moses was a shadow-like figure of Melchizedek. Although not in Israel, he was very much a King of Peace; his purpose was to free the Hebrews from the bondage of Egypt, which represents sin.

The scribes and Pharisees acted as if they were royalty (Mat 23:4-7). However, unlike Moses, they put the Jews in bondage. They sat on Moses’s seat in a sense but were very unlike Moses. God placed Moses on the Cushite Throne, but especially, the Pharisees believed that they deserved the throne.  How so?

Supported by the Pharisees, John Hyrcanus II was briefly both High Priest and king of the Hasmonean Empire (Judea, Samaria, and even Nabatea).

The Pharisees perhaps saw themselves, contrasted to the Sadducees, as heirs to the throne of the Hasmoneans since they supported Hyrcanus. They saw themselves as royalty and Jesus pointed that out to them.

Since Moses was not a worshiper of the Cushite gods but the One True God, he was both a king and a high priest of Yahweh. Like Jesus, long after, he was the son of the ‘god’ Ahmose I who was accepted as a god because he reasserted control over Nubia to the south — Cush — and obtained the gold of that area (Which became Solomon’s gold in later centuries.)

Certainly, Moses, although his parentage was unknown… ‘son of _____’, his adopted cognomen was after Ahmose I. He was the son of ‘blank’ and ‘blank’ and ‘Ahmose’ in the mind of Ahmose.

By all rights, the sons of Moses should have been kings; their names were Gershom and Eliezer. Their mother was Egyptian, so they were sent to be with their mother in lower Egypt. Then they disappeared from scripture. They were meant to be God’s kings but had defiled blood in them, so Moses essentially adopted Joshua to be his son. As such, Joshua was essentially the king of Israel, and although not called a priest, he was as much both king and priest over the Hebrews.

The Mosaic kingship was God ordained, and being of the House of Abraham, which Jasher makes a king (of peace — Abraham’s Bosom), Joshua was as much a king of peace as well.

Before long, royal kings evolved from Abraham and Moses, and most of them were evildoers (e.g, Ahab). The Pharisees behaved more like the Israelite kings of the northern kingdom than the ethnarchs of the southern kingdom. They were of the House of Moses, but evil and more like the House of sinful Ham (the Cushites).

There is much more to the story about the comparison of the Pharisees to Moses. However, hopefully you get the idea that Moses was a royal king and the Pharisees sought to be like him in royalty but not in spirit.

SCRIPTURE MAY OFFEND US ALL

I recently saw a Facebook meme, now shown below.

There is an element of truth therein, to wit: Paul, writing to Peter and their fellow Christians wrote about them as “an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ” (1 Pet 2:5). Then added, “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light” (1 Pet 2:9).

That was not written about scribes and Pharisees who were afterwards denigrated, but about Christians in general. That is validated with scripture, “All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not you (do) after their works: for they say, and do not” (Mat 23:3). Jesus was inferring that the religious leaders were hypocrites and for Christians to do as they say, but not as they do. What were they doing? Acting like royalty (Mat 23:4-7):

For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers, but all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, and love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.

Before proceeding, that meme pictured was posted on Facebook® by a faithful Christian who was born Catholic. His birth religion does not make him a heathen any more than it makes a person born a Protestant a Christian. Birth does not a Christian make; rebirth does that, so said Jesus, “Marvel not; you must be born again” (John 3:7).

We all are born in iniquity, according to David (Psalm 51:5). Martin Luther could not remove the iniquity from us any more than a Pope could. The point therein is that although those two people were priests, having faith in priests is not the Way to Paradise! Therefore, forget your birth religion because we all must be ‘born again’ unto the doctrine of Jesus who is “the Way, the Truth, and the Life” and no man comes unto the Father, but by Him (John 14:6).

No matter who your priest is, your eternal destiny is between you and Jesus to go unto the Father. Since Jesus is the mediator between man and the God, as it is written, “For there is one God, and one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” (1 Tim 2:5).

No priest of any faith is required to be saved. Catholics do not need the College of Cardinals, the Pope, nor even the priests!

Likewise, Protestants do not need preachers any more than Catholics need priests! Essentially, you are on your own with God with Jesus who mediates your guilt to the Father if you go to Him to do so. Hence, Christianity requires no Pope for any true believer, regardless of their leader, for everyone in a sense is their own ‘pope.’

Popes took on a royal title, ‘Pontiff,’ from the Latin, Pontifex Maximus (Supreme Pontiff). The leader of the Roman Church assumed the title once held by the College of Pontiffs of the pagan Roman religion; the title once held by the Caesars.

Catholics made their leader a ‘royal priest.’ Protestants rejected that manmade priesthood and assumed themselves to be ‘royal priests’ of God. So, in a sense, every Christian who depends on Jesus to go to the Father for them, are ‘royal priests’ but certainly not ‘popes.’ Popes are indeed ‘royal priests’ but in only the eyes of the people. They are voted in by the College of Cardinals, not selected by the heavenly Father.

Those comments were directed at the Pharisees in particular. They were not priests at all, but powerful people who monitored every behavior and tested every statement. They were want-to-be priests, but not priests. Most of the priests were their opponents, the Sadducees. In effect the 10,000 or so Pharisees were a ‘College of Pretend Priests,’ because they thought of themselves as true priests to protect Mosaic Law. They were politicians more so than priests but they never let that hamper their self-estimation!

Jesus reduced them to mere snakes, “You serpents, you generation of vipers, how can you escape the damnation of hell?” (Mat 23:33). Jesus implied that although they knew the Law, they deceived the people by setting an improper example. They were not priests at all, but servants of the Wicked One. Jesus reminded them that they were just beasts generated from the Serpent in the beginning. How humbling would that be? It just made them more venomous! So much so that they would see that he was killed.

Jesus as well said, “You Antichrists!” to the Pharisees.

Remembering that no man comes unto the Father, but by Jesus (John 14:6), what about the Father? It is ‘Pater’ in both the Greek and Latin and that refers to a paternal relationship. In the Latin, ‘pope’ means ‘Papa,’ a friendly and pet name for ‘Father.’

Our paternal God is our dear ‘Papa.’ He is, or should be, our love and our Master. We should be dedicated to Him as our Lord or Master. To Him, we all are delegated as servants in His Divine Court. He is the Papa and we the children who are to serve Him and Him alone. To set the example, the LORD GOD took on flesh to serve us and made righteous men the royal priests in the Court of God.

The Vatican is not the Court of God; His ‘Court’ is in heaven above the ‘Sea of Glass’ (Rev 4:6) that can only be entered by death of the flesh and to sin.

The Vatican is the palace of the Pope in Rome, but never forget that the House of God is no longer on Earth but in the realm of heaven. The royal priesthood is therefore reserved for the afterlife and a Utopian City here on Earth — The Vatican City State — is nothing more than a façade, and to be fair, so is that Religious City State, The World Council of Churches.

In heaven, there is no such thing as city states or religious leaders. God is the ‘Pope’ there and he appears on His Throne as Jesus.

We are to “call no man your father upon the Earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven” (Mat 23:9). Whether ‘Father’ is Papa, Pope, or any other title, it means that no man should have the title of God, and ‘Pope’ does just that. You can play games all you like, but since the 10th Century the bishop of Rome has become the ‘royal priest’ by his own bull.

And it continues: “Neither be you called ‘masters” for one is your Master, even Christ” (Mat 23:10).

‘Master’ is an archaic title for ‘teacher.’ Nobody is to be our Teacher, but Christ. The papal bulls that are issued are the teachings of the Pope. They add to the textus receptus and even in Latin that is not the received text.

Whereas the Jews had Mosaic Law, the Catholics in the 15th century added a ‘register of bulls’ (dictates) despite the words of the scripture; “I testify unto every man that hears the words of the prophecy of this book, if any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book” (John 22:18).

The Popes have added many words to scripture, and to be honest, the modern generation of preachers have as well. (I am referring to the prosperity gospel as a ‘temple’ for money changers.)

People neither need the Vatican nor the airwaves of those who pretend to be preachers. The true Church requires no buildings and no leaders; we are all to be servants to our Master, our Grand Papa!

The Catholic Church became moneychangers with penances wherein sins are redeemed.

The Protestant Church in this age have become a den of thieves in the same manner.  All our churches will be the Apostate Church in the end! The true Church is the body of believers to be collected from the world over without God respecting their persons (Acts 10:34).

But we are not to forget the Jews. No longer are they the only ‘chosen and peculiar’ people that would be priests.

Paul wrote, “Be not called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all you are brethren” (Mat 23:8); so, what did the Jews do? Call their leaders ‘Rabbi.’ In other words, they deny Jesus as Rabbi and make themselves the Christ. Is that not what the Catholics did with ‘Father’? Whereas one makes himself the Father, the other makes himself the Messiah!

This is not an attack on either Jews or Catholics. I include Protestant leaders who have become gods as well. One person told me, “If Dr. David Jermiah says it, I believe it.”

Jeremiah has not made himself a ‘god’ but some of his millions of followers have made him a god if his word takes precedence to the Word of God.

For instance, Dr. Jermiah said, “God loves us without expecting anything in return.” Is that right? Check yourselves… God expects our love in return. I am sure he meant something else, but it came out that God does not expect your love. Even when he misstated, some of those I know took his world as the ultimate truth.

That is certainly not an attack on the man, but those who accept his teachings as the final authority. We have all become ‘Roman Catholics’ in a sense, by making him, and those like him, the authorities. He is the one of the several Protestant ‘Popes” and his words go!

We need neither our religious leaders nor the Pope. We are, or shall be, the chosen and peculiar royal priests who serve our Master, Jesus. The purpose of a royal priest is not to dictate sacredness, but to serve a Sacred God. Royal priests in heaven will never rule nor make a name for themselves, but worship and serve God in Name only… Jesus.
