Killing God - Part 12 Faith and Doubt Cont

Faith and Doubt:

Faith is a variable. Its units extend from no faith 197 to perfect faith existing only with God! 198 Since faith is a gift of God, His faith is ample for all humankind. 199 In between are those of a little faith, faith the size of a mustard seed, great faith, the faith of Abraham, up to the faith of God. Thanks to God’s grace, those even with a little faith shall be saved. Satan attacks those of little faith because they are easy targets. Job demonstrated that Satan’s job is made most difficult by great faith, and Abraham was the epitome of faith because he was willing to sacrfice his only remaining son, Isaac, since Ishmael had been emancipated. He was set free to wander in the wilderness similar to Adam after he sinned.

With Ishmael’s migration, the stage was set for a never-ending war – a battle between good and what Jews believe is evil – Islam – since Mohammadans claim Ishmael is their ancestor, 200 wherein it is claimed that Mohammad descended from Ishmael. On a personal note, defining one religion “good” and the other “evil” is from whose perspective it is! Christians believe that Islam is of the devil since Isa – their Jesus – is not the Messiah, and Islam believe Christians are devils because of the rejection of Mohammad. Thus, from a Christian perspective Islam is evil. Its just the difference between beliefs, and the conceal doctrinal differences would be untruthful. Although Christianity considers Islam evil, Christians also believe that salvation includes Muslims in that “none should perish”. (This quote is used so often that its source should be evident by now.) Why so? Because “God so loved the world, that whosoever”. That includes Muslims.

Muslims too can be saved. It’s not on their terms but God’s. In order for that to be, all must accept the one and only way – the sacrificial death and resurrection of God. Allah didn’t die; Jehovah did, at least His Name. The gate to Paradise is still guarded by faithful cherubim and the true and only Password must be used; it is “Jesus”!  201 That is Jesus as the Messiah, not as a mere prophet. All those who shall be saved must believe on the propitiation of God’s own blood. For the entire world 202 Because “God so loves” the Muslims, Christians must as well! To not love the Muslims plays into Satan’s deception. Haters cannot enter through the gateway to Paradise – Christians nor Muslims. Because Christians also desire that “none should perish” that dictates love for the Muslim, and all other pagan religions.

Pagans are non-Christians in the Christian lexicon. That term is not hateful because it’s just the truth from the Christian perspective. Those who espouse what they believe is truth are merely exercising their belief, not hatred. Mankind is diverse, and diversity is in vogue. Recognizing theological differences is not hatred but dogmatic. Christians and Muslims, as well as Buddhists and other religions are indeed different ideas about God. Diversity in religion is not of Jehovah – the Judeo-Christian God. Religious diversity, and the corresponding notions of who God Is, is a divisive tactic in the arsenal of Satan! This is a tactic to undermine God. God is not Allah because Allah never took on flesh and died!

Allah, from the perspective of the Christian, is not even alive because he never lived. On the other hand, Jehovah God is alive although He died. Because of the differences in belief concerning God, Allah is allied with principalities to kill off Jehovah God. The war goes on, and name-calling fuels the fire! In this writing, there is no hatred involved. From my own perspective, based on the Word of God, this is truthful. But what is truth?

That is the question asked by philosophers of all ages. It is the antidote for death! 203 What is “truth”? God’s Word. 204 Who is the Word? God’s glorified flesh – what Jesus said before, during, and after God died. 205 If truth sets one free, then deception enslaves. Slaves do their master’s bidding. What is it that the master desires? Irreverance of God, hatred, and more lies. More on truth later.

Doubt is the lack of faith in God. Unless a person has perfect faith, that person has no doubt. Doubt is the inverse of faith. Little faith means great doubt, and great faith means little doubt. Since mankind is not God, everyone has a degree of doubt. Satan uses any of the doubt that he can arouse to minimize God. When enough people minimize God, then for all practical purposes, God is dead to the world. That has happened before. When the earth became corrupt, there was no longer faith in the world excepting eight persons – Noah, his wife, and his three sons and their wives. 206 Even righteous Seth’s line looked down from the Holy Mountain – Mt. Herman – and saw all the pleasure and succumbed. 207 Imagine a really wild rock concert with all the hard-rock bands, exotic dancing, nudity, open fornication, and beast-like behavior. That’s what the writer of that time saw. Truly, as Solomon said, “there is nothing new under the sun”.

Before the antediluvian crowd killed God, he killed them, and washed away their sins with a world-wide baptism of sorts. God refuses to die. He can’t die, being an impossibility but yet, people still try to kill God! Not being able to be real murderers they kill God vicariously by removing all thoughts of Him from mortal minds. Doubt is how Satan erases thoughts of God. How can anyone seriously consider the Existence if they doubt His Existence. Rather than God being “I AM”, those with total doubt express “HE IS NOT”. Those with lesser doubt may think, possibly He IS NOT while those with great faith may still at times question, IS HE REALLY? Satan uses doubt to kill the thought of God.

It is accredited to a sincere but naïve tele-evangelist that she said, “I know that I know that I know I am saved”. 208 Although she is certainly assured of her salvation, that confidence requires the faith of God which mankind can never exhibit, not even Abraham! Furthermore, although she certainly is born-again, only death can “save” her. 209 This is the Arminian viewpoint to be honest, and that doctrine seems to be the truth for which honest people seek.

Satan relies on mankind doubting to accomplish his motives. To be honest, Joyce Meyers is confident in her faith although she doesn’t really know that she is saved. Her certainty is highly confident. Most genuine Christians have some degree of confidence that they shall be saved. There is an “if” there. That “if” is if what God is alleged to have said is truthful. (John 3:16 again). The “if” is also dependent on whether there is a God! Therefore, to have a high degree of confidence that one shall be saved, requires a high confidence that there is a God, and that He has the Power to save!

One statement accredited to God answers those two questions, and is the first Words accredited to God:

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 210

If that claim is analyzed it means two things: (1) there is a God, and (2) He had the Power to create all that exists. That “existence” is shown in Fig. #1 with one exception: although mankind is show thereon, his soul is not. In order to know God, the soul must be filled. Just as God created Himself in the flesh, His Holy Spirit knew Mary. There was no coitus other than the Holy Spirit imbuing Mary with His Power. Again, God’s power created Himself as man. Mary was, elementary speaking, of dust because the flesh is material. God created within Mary the second Adam. 211 Hence, God in the Flesh was created in the same manner as the first man.  Christians must believe that God created the heavens, the earth, mankind, and brought forth God who called Himself Immanuel – God with us! 212 If God could not create Adam, then the Savior would be an impossibility.

Mankind kills God by denying His ability to create. They deny that God created everything in existence and deny that Jesus is God! If that is not true, then Jesus cannot “save” since he is not God. Denying God’s Power is killing God. A weapon is not thrust in His side but communion with God dies when people deny His Power. In Scripture, God’s Power is the Holy Ghost and denying Him is blasphemy. 213 To create existence, God willed it, the Word spoke it, and the Holy Spirit made it happen. These three are God’s aspects: Creator, Mediator, and Comforter who are the Holy Trinity which Christians refer to as the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. 214

Because of God’s supra-natural nature, when anyone denies his “personality”, it kills God. For instance, believing in God is not efficacious.  One must believe that God died, and it was for the sins of mankind! 215 If that is disbelieved or even doubted, then there was no one who died for the reader or anyone else! Thus, God is killed-off by unbelieve.

Likewise, those who deny that God created the heavens and the earth, doubt God’s Power or even Existence. How can one have faith? It is manifested in the creation – the material things which can be seen. 216 The converse of that is that if one cannot see that God did the creating, then one does not know God. Not knowing God is denying His Existence and killing the very idea that there is a God!

Science raises doubts about God by denying the creation. Since existence merely happened by chance, then God was killed off by His rival god – Chance. Thus, that “unknown god” of which Paul spoke murders God. 217 Unknown gods are God’s demise. Faith in the unknown or the inexplicable denies God’s Existence. Rather than believing the hypotheses of scientists whose intelligence is limited and whose wisdom is questionable, it is more pragmatic to believe in God who if He Exists, and He does, He is Almighty God!  Almighty God is an always alive God who cannot be killed because He is invulnerable. He is our Supergod and has no Kryptonite although Satan as Lex Luthar is always seeking the non-existent chunk which will kill Him. In His wisdom, God never made kryptonite 218 because there is no way to kill him. He was, is, and always will be – all different tenses of “being”. And, by the way, Lex Luthar will be killed off before the ending of the program!

Killing God - Part 11 Faith and Doubt

Faith and Doubt

There is an “atmosphere” in the Kingdom of God. People therein are commanded to “breath love”. 189 Love is not a substance nor even an emotion. It is a duty because mankind is to love one another! Christians put on spiritual equipment to breath love. Just as the deep-sea diver trusts the tank which is worn, and the attendant who filled it for his very life, Christians trust God for being the author of love, and sharing it with His Holy Spirit. Christians are deep “see” inbibers because with love, Christians have bright eyes! 190 Regardless how much mates, parents, children, and friends are loved, if it is true love, it has some degree of God’s type of love. If people love as God loves, it is that none should perish. Time and again, that insight shall be written because it is imperative!

If one person says to another, “I don’t love you, and you’re not my friend but I will be cordial to you,” what is being said?  I will be ameliorating and act as if I’m your friend, but I’m faking it! Love cannot be faked. Love cannot be real unless it’s true! What are the characteristics of love?

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. 191

Hate can fail and will all the time!  Those who hate are insufferable and mean-spirited. The hateful are narcissistic and arrogant. They are rude, and easily provoked, likewise often provoking others. Hateful people are evil minded; the law of sin in readiness at every convenience! Haters rejoice as they sin, are unbearable themselves never bearing others. The hateful are always ready to accept a lie, have no hope, and are lackadaisical. Oftentimes people exhibit true love but it’s for the wrong reasons, most often to magnify themselves, self-justify, or because they are sensitive. Loving without God is faux love. Satan is satisfied with that but God is not! Hence, people seem to be good but if they are not “good” for God’s sake, they’re not good!

Since love is the atmosphere of the Kingdom of God, then faith is from its Generator. 192 When humans have that bright nature, received at rebirth, that new nature has trust. Unlike Adam, Eve, and Enoch who could see into the heavens, the old creature – the one Satan made – has dim eyes. There is a fog in the atmosphere supplanting the love that was there. Humans are born with that spiritual fog, and God calls on them to breath His air – pure, clean, and well-lighted!  Humans can’t see the love but He is there! That is faith.

Faith provides the love Christians breath. How can Satan best kill God? He sorrows God’s Spirit by exhausting love from the divine atmosphere and leaving it with hatred. Without trusting God, there is no partially polluted atmosphere, it is either hatred or love. One cannot partially love. If so, how is that done? Love endures; love never fails.

Faith is a gift which must be exercised or it’s divine muscles weaken. Anyone can take a gift and then put it away! Many do that. On the other hand, gifts with utility are needed to make life easier. Thus, faith is a work which Christians must use. 193 Faith is working through love. Christians breath in the atmosphere of love provided by God, and breath it out to others. From love is generated more love. Love compounds itself! On the other hand, without the work of faith, love degenerates and there is nothing to breath.

The best example of amplifying love is magnifying God together. Those who honor God, breathing the same spiritual air, are said to be of “one accord”. 194 From accordance, comes Love in the substance of the Holy Spirit.  Since God is love, indeed the Holy Spirit is love! Unity injects more love into the divine atmosphere. Love is the element of life and humans need that so we shall not die!  The will of God is to keep the air pure, not just in His Kingdom but for all to breath. There are not al old and new covenant. God’s will was always the same. That his creatures love Him and one another. God always generated that love for free, and it was free for all! The more the merrier God Is!

Satan, in a futile attempt to make God impotent, is to replace faith with doubt, and love with hatred. Discord is His method. Just as those in harmony with God are in harmony with each other, those in discord with God are discordant with one another. The mob always gets more violent with many voices. When herd mentality is the rule, hatred is the outcome. Hatred is contagious and the closer the proximity of the haters, the more hatred is compounded. Hatred despoils God’s atmosphere. One cannot breathe in love when the atmosphere is polluted with hatred. The law of sin is the true global warming which loving people must fear!

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. 195

Those of you who have read Russian History know that when the enemy is about to defeat them, the Russians destroy everything which the enemy can possibly use against them! When Napoleon marched on Moscow, Russia destroyed their city. When Hitler marched on Moscow, the land was destroyed again. Before God will allow Satan to destroy His Kingdom, He will destroy His “footstool” himself to keep His throne. 196

Satan pollutes the earth with hatred, and the generator of hatred is doubt! For instance, if a sinner doubts God’s Existence, he is more prone to sin. Doing hateful things are natural when punishment is not forthcoming. If a sinner doesn’t believe in Hell, then how God punish? God is just. For those who are serfs to the law of sin become kindling for the turbulent flames of Hell.  Doubt is the weapon of mass destruction which Satan uses to supplant faith.

Killing God - Part 10 Heaven

Heaven:

For Satan to desire the Kingdom of God, it surely is lustrous. Satan has seen Heaven. He knows its beauty! To take it away from God, this fallen angel is God’s adversary. What is Heaven like to be so desired? Specifically, what is the Third Heaven like? The Apostle Paul knew a man who had been “caught up in the third heaven”, referring to it as “paradise”. 171 Paul didn’t know if it was physically or spiritually, but the existence of a Third Heaven was verified by a man who knew Jesus! Is that possible? Enoch was given a grand tour of all the heavens. It seems that it’s not necessary to pass through the hierarchy of the heavens to get to Paradise. It’s a short trip in God’s dimensions of time and space.

The malefactor on the cross alongside God was promised Paradise “today”. 172 Thus, the third heaven is just a short distance when divinely measured. A man of the house of the ruler of the synagogue brought his daughter who was dead. God brought her back to life. Her spirit had started its trip to Paradise but immediately returned. 173 Today that is called an out of body experience. Perhaps the girl had seen the Third Heaven! Perhaps she had been to Paradise. It is that possibility which theists seek. It is that reality that Satan wants. Mankind accepts Paradise by faith. Satan accepts its existence by experience. In this case, who can argue with Satan?

Heaven has different metrics. There is no time in Heaven because it is infinite. Scientists cannot measure things without dimensions and time unless Divine dimensioning is used; albeit, Heaven is real! Heaven has size, though. Enoch, in his writings, spoke of “the sacred cubit”. Not to go into detail, but an analog based on the sacred cubit can be used to scale down the universe, providing Heaven with dimensions! 174 (Note: I refer to the Book of the Mysteries of Enoch but as mere commentary. It is not Holy Scripture but whoever wrote it understood Scripture quite well. Even Paul who came after it was written, validated the concept of several Heavens. Admittedly some believe that the waters are the First, the cosmos the Second, and the Realm of God, the Third.)

Heaven was validated by Paul’s acquaintance. Some believe that Paul himself had seen Paradise. Paul wrote about this incidence in about 57 AD. 175 Paul was blinded between 33 AD and 36 AD. 176 Simple mathematics identifies Paul as possibly the man “he knew” who was taken to the Third Heaven. If it was him, the experience was surreal. Why so? Paradise is beyond the imagination, or the senses for that matter. Remembering that with bright eyes, Adam and Eve could see the Heavens, in Paul’s blindness, he could see what others could not see! 177 Strangely enough Paul received  bright eyes by being blinded by God.

The Book of Genesis, particularly chapters one through four, gives a description of the Garden, which if not Heaven, a very accurate simile of it!

It is a place without rain watered by a mist from the ground. The sun whose rays kill never shines there, and life comes from springs below. Without the sun to kill, life is everlasting. Mankind ate only herbs. His flesh was incorruptible never suffering disease. There was no stress because God supplied everything in abundance. Even the animals were docile and served Adam.

Enoch writes about the Third Heaven with these words:

Have courage, Enoch, do not fear; the eternal God sent us to thee, and lo! thou shalt to-day ascend with us into heaven, and thou shalt tell thy sons and all thy household all that they shall do without thee on earth in thy house, and let no one seek thee till the Lord return thee to them. And in the midst of the trees that of life, in that place whereon the Lord rests, when he goes up into paradise; and this tree is of ineffable goodness and fragrance, and adorned more than every existing thing; and on all sides it is in form gold-looking and vermilion and fire-like and covers all, and it has produce from all fruits. And two springs come out which send forth honey and milk, and their springs send forth oil and wine, and they separate into four parts, and go round with quiet course, and go down into the PARADISE OF EDEN, between corruptibility and in corruptibility. 178

It seems that the four rivers of the Book of Genesis which come forth from the Garden are identified as rivers of milk, honey, wine, and olive oil in Heaven, and Heaven is identified as the “Paradise of Eden”. Remembering that Eden is the Kingdom of David, flowing with milk and honey partially validates that heaven went up just as it will someday come down! Using sacred cubits, this author has identified Jerusalem, the City of David, as the City of God.

Mankind, while in the Garden, was never guilty; that is until sin entered in; afterwards from which he was taken out. Guilt kills the spirit. Its affects kill the body.  Because God provided everything by grace, there was never a need to work. Toil was unheard of! Mankind’s vocation was to “dress and keep” the Garden. Since, God did that without toil, it seems that since the Tree of Life was in the midst of the Garden, and was surrounded by other trees, man’s job was to dress and keep God! Adam and Eve were to love God with all their strength, heart, mind, and soul, and when other “trees” came, to love them as they loved themselves! 179 One specific difference, is that in the Garden, God established Holy Matrimony. In the flesh, matrimony became oftentimes unholy. Hence, in Heaven mankind will not be given in marriage for there is no need to multiply. Mankind’s greatest pleasure, and his shame, is intercourse, and in Heaven, none will be tempted, and sex will be obsolete! 180

It seems that sexual pleasure is serving oneself, and clouds mankind’s bright eyes. Satan wants Heaven to be like earth. Satan’s perception and fantasy of Heaven is a lascivious world with sexual gods and goddesses engaging in every sort of perversion! Why are abnormal sexual practices such an abomination to God? Because that’s Satan’s vision of Heaven! Another motive for killing God is Satan’s desire to establish the law of sin in the new Kingdom of Lucifer. Adulterers, fornicators, incestuous people, and such further Satan’s vision. Sinners are mutineers from their Father who serve in Satan’s army. Sinners kill God! Sinners desire Heaven to be more like earth than the Kingdom of God. Why else would God’s creatures prefer to serve another master?

Killing God - Part 9 Pride

Pride:

Satan wants God dead because of pride. Isaiah spoke of Satan’s pride:

For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. 157

Pride is thinking of oneself as more than one really is. Satan sees himself as King of the Heavens as God! Who knows sin better than the sinner? Satan is the authority on sin. He knew pride because he is prideful. Knowing his own heart, he knew mankind’s. He accused disobedient Adam and Eve being “as Gods” 158 because he knew the pleasure of that! Pride isn’t reality; it is merely faulty thinking. Pride is the mutation of once meek creatures. Ironically, mankind did evolve, not over time, but at one cross-section in time, with the first sin – original sin. Satan fell from his heaven because of pride, and mankind followed suit. Being of the fifth heaven, Satan was cast down to the second heaven – to the natural world.  159 160 Satan was demoted from on high to nothing more than a pitiful prince of the air. 161

Thinking that they had become “as gods” Adam and Eve were also demoted. As they were driven from the Garden they fell is stature from the third heaven to the first – from the presence of God into the wilderness in Eden. It seems that as heaven will come down someday, as mentioned before, with the universal flood, heaven must have ascended. Mankind’s demotion may have been from a  higher heaven to the lowest one can go!

What is heaven? A portion is natural and a portion supra-natural – transcending the natural! 162  (See Fig. #1).

Fig. #1 Existence

Heaven transcends the natural; thus, it does not follow the laws of nature. Therein rules the Law of God.  The Law as applied to the natural is well-known and written on stone; natural law. For those who are in the image of God, His Law is written on their hearts. 163 Unknown are the Divinely “Physical” Laws of Heaven. They are not truly physical but transcendental. Now is the time to imagine what the heavens are like! With transcendental in mind, it’s not so difficult to believe that the Garden was transformed from an earthly abode to a heavenly existence. After all, since God can ascend, He can ascend Gardens! To know what “Heaven” is like, imagine only what the Garden must have been. Specifically, it would appear that the Garden is the third heaven (Heaven) which those with a “bright nature” can see. That bright nature belongs to those who are righteous – not with a few sins but pure in thought and deed. Since they are not really God, God washes them white as snow to see the heavens. With bright eyes, Adam and Eve, before they sinned saw into the heavens. 164 Enoch was taken into the heavens and shown its secrets (See Fig. #1). Perhaps there may have been others. For mankind, we can see the Third Heaven from our vision of the Garden of Eden! The nature of the believer is not all the way “bright” but the transformation at the second birth is seeing the Light of God! 165 Of course, God also said that no man has ascended up to Heaven but Himself. 166 What about Enoch? He didn’t ascend. “God took him!” 167 Since Enoch didn’t die, he was glorified right there on the spot. Enoch was transformed from man – the flesh – into a glorified existence, no longer existing as a mere man!

All known and perceived “existence” is shown in Fig. #1. The unseen is shown in light green text and the seen in black text. It seems that the second heaven is partially seen and partially unseen; shown in brown text. That heaven seems to be the transition between the seen and unseen. Satan and his demons are able to navigate in those two realms.

The supra-natural is not the same as the natural. The directions given for heaven in the Secrets of Enoch are for human understanding. Likewise, up and down are meaningless in God’s realm. We do know that God ascended into the heavens and from where He ascended – from Bethany. This is from the southeast slope of the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem. It’s believed to be where Lazarus was raised from his own tomb! 169 Jesus ascended up from just outside Jerusalem. That location provides a specific direction from earth. Of course, up from earth means little. From each and every location, up is a different direction because earth is spherical. God ascended up from the same location that the Garden must have. Where is heaven? It’s up from Jerusalem!

What is the “nature” of Heaven? It is not natural. There are no ups, downs, over, and about. The Ten Heavens may be all within one Heaven. The Fourth Heaven contains the paths of the cosmos. Then Heaven is at least a large as the universe. The heavens are the void which contains the earth, the sun, moon, and stars. However, Heaven is bigger than that. It contains something beyond the matter which exists. Black holes cannot be seen, but by evidence their existence is inferred. Likewise, the supra-natural heavens can’t be seen but the Creation is evidence that they too are there!

Fig. #1 shows Existence. Satan wants that! He is prince of the First Heaven, living in the Second but his desire is to have all the Heavens and God’s throne therein. Reigning over the Kingdom of God is Satan’s motive for killing God. All that is known to be existence, Satan desires as his. Where is mankind in the scheme of things? Looking at the graphic again, if men are not God’s temples, Satan has him. Satan is the master of those already, desiring to have all mankind. As man lives upon the earth ship, those few not on the water with God will sink with the ship. Noah’s Ark has never been found, and someday this earth and its heaven (The First Heaven it seems) will have the same fate!

Killing God - Part 8 Hatred

Hatred – the Poison that Kills:

The equivalency of hatred and murder has already been mentioned. That comes from the Greek word miseo for hatred and is further expanded to include detestation and persecution. 139 Hateful is to love-less.  Hatred, then is the reciprocal of love. Just as there are numerous types of love: erotic, brotherly, familial, and divine love it seems that there must be different types of hatred: sexual misuse, isolation, apathy, and spiritual. Scripture indicates that God is even capable of hating; not people but sin! 140 It is specifically mentioned that God hates the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes. 141 That doctrine is condoning fornication or any type of lascivious behavior within the Church. As parents always say, “Hate the sin but love the sinner” - that’s what Holy Scripture is all about! That decree cannot be found in a specific verse but the contexture is throughout scripture.

God uses profound words for His hatred of behaviors: abomination, disgusting, viperous, treacherous, irreverence, and so on. Those are the same types of hatred that the Adversary has for the things of God! Satan hates the Doctrines of God whereas God hates the doctrine of Satan which is the law of sin. God doesn’t even hate Satan! His desire is that he not perish but since Satan will never trust God, his destination is to perish forever – to be cast into the fiery pit. 142 God would rather not do that but order must be maintained! Satan will die a horrible death.

Satan is the example. Because of his devilish nature, he will be forever dying in Hell. That is his domain! Satan seeks the throne of God but deserves to kneel in agony. Eventually Satan will feel the pain for himself that God feels for mankind. The night before God died, he agonized, not for Himself but for mankind. God feels pain. He came to mankind to feel what people feel. Because He so loves us, he wanted that none should perish. That is not the case, and God knew that even before he died to those who love and despise Him. How he felt about his creatures is explained best by Luke:

And (Jesus) being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground. 143

That is how much God loves. He was feeling pain for Himself but for “whosover” for whom He was about to die! That is the epitome of love, being how God’s love is to be reciprocated and shared. Those who love with unction, with exceedingly great fervor, are to love that much! Just thinking of God dying for mankind should arouse great pain inside and cause the human heart to throb in empathy to the One who died in the place of those who deserve death!

God felt that way toward his fellow man. Bearing our own cross is having intense love not only for God but every person, even our enemies! God died for them as well.

Usually, people discuss Jesus on the cross dying for the sins of mankind. That event was ultimate grace. Herein, “God” is ascribed as dying. That is done so that the reader understands the intensity of the grace! God in three aspects was nailed to the cross. Jesus cannot be separated from God’s identity and die only in the flesh. God died as Creator, Savior, and Holy Spirit. After God died, because His flesh died, God’s Spirit which experienced death on the cross is rightfully called the Holy Ghost.

The intensity of divine love must be known to understand the intensity of evil. What is evil? Holding the Law of God reprehensible. Hating God’s Law so much that one is in agony. The Law of God condenses down to divine love! Again, that comes from the Greatest Commandment. Evil is having reprehensible feelings for love. That depth of reprehensibility to love is the paramount hatred. That’s how much Satan hates God. That hatred is Satan’s motive for killing God!

Satan desires to destroy God because he believes in Him. All the demons do! 144 To target God as the Victim means that Satan must truly believe in Him. He does, knows God’s Power, and realizes that he can never kill God but only destroy His Kingdom. Thus, killing God is isolating God to the heavens with no one to commune with him. To achieve his purposes, Satan must destroy to things: the heaven and the earth. The two together are the Kingdom of God. Essentially, Satan must steal God’s Kingdom. Just as in the monarchial times, there was always a pretender to the throne – an adversary most often a close family member – who sought the position and authority of the king.

Satan is part way through with his revolution. The first battle was won with one weapon. He deceived the woman, and the man followed suit. With that one “win”, the tactic became a familiar weapon. Ever since, mankind has been wounded by the fiery darts of deception. 145 Those darts are projected by the hollowness of temptation. Pleasure is offered to those who lust, and from those fruits they eat, consuming deadly poison, of course, in small does such that death comes on gradually. Small increments of poison over seemingly longtime spans is how people are gradually killed.

Gradual and painless death is the best deception. Even Heinrich Himmler gassed his victims so subtly and painlessly that his colleagues thought him humane. That is Satan’s tactic, and like Himmler, he deceives others in killing for him. Sinners do the dirty deed on themselves. Sinners also killed God.

The ultimate love is that none should perish. This the ultimate hatred is that all should perish. Killing the body is not fully death; Satan must destroy the souls of mankind as well to minimize God to the greatest extent possible. What better way to minimize God, that destroy His institutions? God’s most closely guarded institution are the righteous. When the righteous are incorporated for the worship of God, that organization is called the Church. (Here, capital C is used to designate not denominations or the building but all who trust God for salvation.) Don’t let it frighten the protestant, but the Church is catholic in nature, meaning “universal”. There is only one faith, one baptism and one Lord. 146 In his attempt to undermine God, Satan must destroy the Church. Rather than doing the dirty work himself, as Himmler did, Satan enlists his soldiers to destroy all the many temples of God one stone at a time.

Those sinners without contrition, and atheists fail to realize it but they serve their lord as well. He is not Almighty but their master, doing their master’s will. 147 Atheists and the unrighteous serve a god. In practice they serve their gods of themselves but on principle, unbeknownst to them, they also serve Satan! Service to one is love. Disservice to the other is hatred. Those who unwittingly serve Satan love him and his laws and despise God.  Satan is the demagogue and sinners and atheists are the “useful idiots” which is attributed to Vladimir Lenin 148 and used extensively by progressives even today.

Those who are being used by autocrats are useful idiots. Scripture refers to them as fools, slightly less offensive maybe. 149 The foolish are those who blaspheme the Lord, which one should remember is twofold: dismissing God as Lord or elevating oneself to lordship. Both are those are hatred of God, and Satan knows his useful idiots are ready to take to the streets to undermine God and elevate themselves. Satan smiles! His deception is effective because people are gullible. Their itching ears are scratched by what they want to hear and believe whether it is truthful or not! 150

Parents generally implore: do not hate others, when kids say, “I hate so and so.” The kids respond, “I don’t hate them; I just dislike them.” Disliking is a mild form of hatred. The hatred scale goes from zero to infinity – from apathetic to “hate their guts”. “Dislike” is slightly higher than apathetic on the hatred scale while “hating their guts” as children say, is wishing them to perish forever in Hell. Perfect love is that God desires that “none should perish”. Ultimate hatred is that “all should perish”. That is repeated because it’s so important. Satan desires that all shall perish. Mankind may not want that all should but many. That seems to satisfy mankind’s moral needs but that shows contempt for God in that His will is that none should die. To wish that on just a few – our enemies – is unrighteous and sinful. 151 Loving the enemy is hard work in that even loving friends oftentimes is not easy!

It is hard work to love but hatred comes easily. Satan uses that natural born inclination to make his job easier. The propensity toward hatred is the outcome of original sin. Mankind was designed to love. That was the Designer’s intent. Satan intended to disrupt innocence and teach people how to hate. Being mature adults, Adam and Eve quickly learned to disobey. Children learn disobedience gradually. It’s not that children hate their parents when they cry for attention or feign pain; it’s their genetic way of gaining power. Disobedient young children are becoming budding gods and goddesses, and by the teenage years they are well established as lords over the household – little princes and princesses!

Immature adults have learned godhood well. Not being satisfied with royalty in their little kingdoms, they do as they want to do in spite of others. By assuming lordship over their own lives, their will is to do what is right in their own eyes!  152 This self-esteem is blasphemy, if the reader remembers that from before. Meekness is the way to demonstrate love for God, and to keep His Kingdom intact. 153 The flip-side of meekness is pride which is esteeming oneself too highly.

God designed mankind to love. Because people were originally children of God, rightfully everyone loves themselves. No one hates themselves; 154 not even the suicidal.  That seems to be so much love for themselves that they cannot stand the pain of living. The deception of “self-esteem” is destructive because it is God who mankind is to esteem. If people are obedient to God, He will take care of us! There is no need to build esteem because that is an outcome of loving God.

Satan’s tactic is to blaspheme God by creating little gods; even trillions of them. He is confident in his position, not seeing mankind as much of a threat! Job showed Satan what righteousness is all about. God allowed Satan to test Job’s love or lack of hatred but wasn’t allowed to kill Job. 155 Satan accused God of putting a hedge around Job for safety’s sake. Indeed, God did! Likewise, when sinners are born-again, God puts a hedge of safety about them. With the hedge intact, in the end, the safe shall be saved!

Job stayed faithful to God because he loved Him so much that he lost his wealth, family, and was threatened with losing his own life.  That is great love but if Satan had overcome him, and he could have, he would have demanded that Job hate God! That applies to all ages and all men. Hatred is the weapon of mass spiritual destruction and is done by attacking faith!

Killing God - Part 7 Nature of God Cont.

Sometimes even things symbolic of God are His death! Take, the Jewish menorah for instance. It represents the seven churches of Asia spoken of in the Revelation of John. 114 The stand for the seven lamps, would then, represent the Church which scripture symbolizes as the bride of Christ. The ultimate killing of God is in the last days when the candle shall be snuffed out. The voices of God and the Church shall be heard no more. 115 This is one last attempt to kill God! The menorah is the lamp that represents God. The olive oil therein is His Holy Spirit, and the gold is God’s humanity who is called Jesus. The menorah is not Jewish at all but fully Christian. When it was lit in the tabernacle long ago in the wilderness, the light from it was God’s Light.

The television reality show Survivor uses the lighted torch to represent life.  Probst’s last words are: "The tribe has spoken; it's time to go,” he says as the torch light is snuffed out. 116 With the menorah, it seems, mankind says “The world has spoken; it’s time to leave You,” referring to God. Thus the menorah unlit is the Church leaving God to “die”.

Another symbol of the Living God is the fire of the alter where the sin offering is made. Moses was instructed by God to keep the fire at the altar burning, and its fuel is flesh. In the tabernacle, the prime flesh without blemish, was the sin sacrifice. God was kept “alive” by continually sacrificing flesh to Him. God enjoyed the aroma of the sacrifices and was pleased!

The fire was kept burning for the ultimate sacrifice! God eventually sacrificed Himself for the sins of mankind. 118 With the physical death of God, the fire has imperishable fuel. The Shekinah of God always shines, indicating that God is alive and well! God is pleased as long as mankind joins Him in sacrificing. To keep the fore a burning, mankind returns to God in his original image as they present themselves “a living sacrfice” 119 Mankind, by self-sacrifice keeps the sacrificial fire burning. God ignited the flame with His Holy Ghost. It is mankind’s responsibility to allow the Spirit to burn within them! 120 Love shown by obedience is mankind’s sacrifice, forgoing the pleasures of the flesh. The high priest sacrificed the flesh to keep the fire burning, and the Church keeps God “alive” by sacrificing the spiritual flesh – the pleasures of sin!

Crosses are seen everywhere in the western world. Even those in the far east wear the cross. The cross is symbolic of Jesus’s death instead of ours. It seems to be a symbol of thankfulness for grace. Grace is God’s death when it is mankind which deserves it! Men and women are the key players who are “so loved”. God substituted for man. He stepped in and died in place of all the sinners of all time who played without His rules. All of us! 121 Rather than be proud, mankind should be ashamed. Who killed God? Perhaps the reader may soon see the Light: Neither the Jews nor the Romans killed God – mankind did. God died because of sinners like us all!

Although the cross represents the death of God, it also represents man’s own life. Abraham saw God on the cross with his willingness to sacrifice his only remaining son since the elder had been emancipated. 122 Jacob was to be the lamb and was to die for mankind. He was not God. It had to be God who died for everyone! Abraham was willing to save God from death by sacrificing his own son, what God would do later by sacrificing Himself. Mankind “saves” God from death by self-sacrifice. Mankind of course can’t save God but his willingness to do so is similar to the faith of Abraham.  123

Abraham had a vision of the cross. It was the key which kept man alive, and because God so loved the world, the cross kept God alive as well. Mankind is God’s pleasure, and His desire is that all shall be saved. 124

The cross was nothing new! It is a simile is the Tree of Life. Catholics refer to the “True Cross” – the remnants of the wooden cross on which God died. The Roman Empress Helena, Constantine’s wife, went to Jerusalem and believed she found the True Cross. Although she indeed did find a cross of wood, it takes faith to believe it was the very cross on which Jesus died. Constantine and many afterward used the True Cross in battle to defeat the enemy. Superstition poisons God. It was not the cross of Helena which saves but the true True Cross – the Tree of Life. Adam saw God, and killed Him, so to speak by standing under the forbidden tree and eating of its fruit.

Thus, it is not the wooden cross on Calvary which saves. It is the Tree of Life – God Himself who was nailed to the insignificant tree (in comparison). Catholics celebrate God’s death with icons showing Him still hanging on the “tree”. Others celebrate God’s life by the empty cross. How the cross is viewed is indicative of either a dying God or a living God. Ironically, with God still dead on the cross, mankind continues to kill God!

Man was created in the image of God, and God said “created in our image”. 125 Hebrew El is used for God in the first instance and is singular. Elohim is used for God in the second instance, and is plural. It seems that it the beginning God’s Oneness and triune “nature” is significant. El is the One True God – the true True Cross. Elohim is He who was crucified on the true True Cross. It is imperative to realize that One True God was killed on the cross. Thereon died the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Of course, the hypothesis is that as God experienced death on the cross, His entire Being experienced death. As God’s flesh gave up the Spirit for mankind, His Spirit took on a new identity – the Ghost of His Flesh!

Mankind image was revealed in scripture: ”Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength”. 126 The entirety of man is identified with how he can express love. Since man was created in the image of God, those characteristics are also God’s Identity or Existence! The Creator God is called the “Father” and is God’s Mind. The graceful God is identified by His Heart, which represents His Flesh which He would shortly assume. Man’s soul is the container for God’s Holy Spirit. The soul is the living temple of God. 127 It would appear that God’s “soul” is His Holy Spirit. What about “the strength”? That is Almighty God! His Excellency’s Existence. Our own nature describes God’s substance. His Strength is the One True God – the true True Cross, and the other three characteristics represent His triune “nature”.

God is the Tree of Life. Not by accident, he died on a wooden cross which scripture refers to as a tree. 128 It is not by accident that in the beginning, and the end by the way, God is represented as a tree. The patriarchs knew the method of God’s death well in advance. When Adam grabbed fig leaves to cover his and her shame, it was from another tree but he somehow knew that only by a Tree could he be redeemed by God! 129 It is the Tree of Life which still lives. The cross is a simile of God. It has no power, and is thus, an icon but it is to magnify God. There is no shame in the Cross because it represents the Tree of Life – the part that was seen is a simile of God in the Flesh!

God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost to which is so casually separated out of convenience, together are the Triune One True God. They are not “persons’ since only one “person” experienced death, but are three aspects. Neither are they “personalities” since God has only one personality – being one person. God Existed in three different forms. The Father is “killed” by denying Him as Creator. The Son was killed because his killer’s denied that he is the Creator, and could not therefore be the Savior. The Holy Ghost is “killed” because He is not recognized as the Ghost of God! 130 Denying the “nature” of the Holy Ghost as God, is blasphemy against the Holy Ghost, which is the unpardonable sin. 131 Denying God’s Existence in any of His three “natures” is how mankind “kills” God. Blasphemy is “the act of insulting or showing contempt or lack of reverence for God, and the act of (oneself) claiming the attributes of a deity.” 132

God is “killed” by denying His Existence, or any of the three Natures of God. When God is “killed” His murderer is a pretender to His throne. Those who attempt to murder God claim godhood for themselves. That too is blasphemy – what murdering God is called!

A book has been written called Killing Jesus. What is written herein is a supplement to that; unauthorized of course. Bill, O’ really? Did your book tell all the story? He was not only Jesus who was killed on the cross; God died that day!

God’s “natures” were further identified in scripture: (1) God, (2) Son of God, (3) Son of Man, and (4) Comforter. 134 The Comforter is the Holy Ghost and is one “nature” of God. His feature is Power. That Power of God is Who came down on the virgin Mary and Fathered God in the Flesh “called Emmanuel” – or “God with us”. 135 136 He is the same Power who Comforts us, not to forget His part in the creation. When God took on the Flesh he had the “nature” of both parents. He was fully Man and fully God – thus the Son of Man and the Son of God. It seems impossible, but God birthed Himself. Never think on that as a natural from of conception but supra-natural. His Birth was God’s primo appearance to mankind! In essence, the Son of God was “called Emmanuel”, and the Son of Man was “called Jesus”. 137

God did not clone Himself. God came down to mankind. One may ask, “How did He do that?” He is God! He can do anything. Just as He created the heaven, the earth, and Adam; God created His own flesh – ironically in the same image as Adam. Since Man was created in God’s image, with His foreknowledge, God made man similar to the appearance He chose for Himself! That is profound! Emmanuel’s birth is God’s descension. His resurrection introduced His ascension. In between, God descended into Hell where long committed sins were destroyed. 138 Withstanding Hell, God is incorruptible but that doesn’t end Satan’s quest to destroy Him! That feature of God is just a small portion of His Almightiness!
