Jesus speaks of His Father's house. That is where God is in His kingdom. It's in another realm outside the material world. Imagine, if you will, paradise, because His Father's house is well beyond the most luxurious fantasy island resort. His house is a mansion with enough rooms for all who go there. He says it's reserved for those who believe in Him. Right now, if you are a son of God, there is a room with your name on the door. It's ready and waiting for you. Jesus went there to prepare our room for us! As important is that Jesus prepared that room, and he confirmed that He is not a liar, for if it were not so, would I have told you that?
Romans 14:1 (ESV) “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. 4 And you know the way to where I am going.”
It's of utmost importance to believe in heaven. It's the place of safety for those saved from eternal damnation. It's a large mansion, but befitting only those who accept the Master-builder - the Father who built this heavenly paradise! Jesus was part of that preparation. He went there for a spell to make your room special just for you!
John 1:1 (ESV) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth."Part of the plan was that Jesus was there in the beginning speaking the creation, and it came into existence. It was the Word, Jesus, who said, "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." (Genesis 1:1). Jesus gave credit to God the Father who was preparing for mankind a place - paradise as the Garden of Eden was. That paradise was part of the kingdom of God because Eden was God's paradise.
Jesus prepared a place for our existence here on earth, then thousands of years later, prepared a place for our eternal existence! If God can provide for us a heavenly home by preparing it, why is it not believable that he also prepared for us a place on earth as our temporary home? Most Christians believe that God created heaven, but don't believe that He created earth. Their God is not as powerful as the Creator God, and thus cannot be the true Almighty God.
It is imperative that a believer truly believe. Jesus verified that God created the heavens and the earth, and later on Jesus said, "If it were not so, would I have told you that?" Jesus knew that the created would think that the Creator is a liar. When we say that God didn't create the universe, we imply that he is too weak a God to create a heavenly home for us. For the latter to even exist, requires belief in the former because Jesus said that God made it, and He is not a liar!
Those who believe in evolution have created a false, weak god. He has no power to create the universe, but they do allow him to prepare a place in heaven. Ironically enough, since paradise is no longer here, perhaps the creation was taken there. Perhaps the river of God that flows in heaven right now, beside that mansion, is the same river which flowed in the Garden of Eden. Perhaps the Tree of Life which stands by that river of God in heaven right now is the same Tree which stood in the center of the Garden of Eden!
My Almighty God can do anything. If your god isn't Almighty, he is not God at all!
Genesis 17:1 (ESV) “I am God Almighty; walk before me, and be blameless.."Jesus said that back in the beginning. He isn't a liar.
