EMMANUEL: GOD’S HOUSE

The question is, Where is Calvary? Where is the place of the skull?

Well, Golgotha is the “place of the skull” or more precisely, “the place of the cranium.” The church father, Origen, wrote that it was the place of the cranium of Adam.

The second question is, Where is Mount Moriah? The mountain of “reverence for God” (Abarim Publications).

No one knows for certain where Calvary or Mount Moriah are located. There are many different notions given the evidence of different people. Around the 4th century, the mother of Emperor Constantine, Helena, established the traditional sites according to information given to her from various sources. Therefore, the accepted biblical sites may not be accurate.

With locations in doubt, perhaps other sources may provide clues:

And Jacob went forth continuing his road to Haran, and he came as far as mount Moriah, and he tarried there all night near the city of Luz. (Jasher 30:1)

That is very specific. It is near the city of Luz. The problem is Luz. No one knows the location of Luz. Luz simply means “almond tree” or “twisted” (Abarim Publications). Luz could be the location of a twisted almond tree. Or maybe not! Could it be the place of “The Old Rugged Cross”?

It is known what happened in the land of Moriah. There Abraham would be willing to do to his son what the Father would do to His Son. God said to Abraham, “Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of” (Gen 22:2).

The sacrifice was not to be made specifically on Mount Moriah, but the land of Moriah on one of the mountains there in that land.

Another mention is much later in the time of Solomon: “Then Solomon began to build the house of the Lord at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite” (2 Chron 3:1). Solomon’s Temple was built in Mount Moriah specifically. The House of God was built, destroyed by the Babylonians and rebuilt at the same location seventy years later. The location of the original Temple would not be in question because some of the dispersed citizens returned to build it.

Furthermore, Mount Moriah is identified. It is in the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite. “Jebus” was the name of Jerusalem before it was “Jerusalem”: to wit: “The border went up by the valley of the son of Hinnom unto the south side of the Jebusite; the same is Jerusalem” (Jos 15:8). Hinnom is Gehenna where child sacrifices were made. That is in Jerusalem on the south and southwest sides of the old city.

Many say that Melchizedek was King of Jerusalem, but scripture does not say that, but it does say King of Salem, [i] meaning “King of Peace”. That described not the place of Peace but the existence of Peace.

Where is there Peace? Outside the world. [ii] Paul, speaking to the Hebrews, as well as identified Melchizedek as preincarnate Jesus! [iii] Hence, Jerusalem was the city of Jebus before, and not Salem. Hence, Mount Moriah was in the land of Moriah “at Jerusalem” in Mount Moriah specifically. “Moriah” is the mountainous region, not one specific mountain. The “Land of Moriah” were the mountain range (Wikipedia) next to Hinnom, and there are several mountains there.

Therefore, the Temples were built “in mount Moriah.” It is strange that the Hebrew word, “har” was translated “in mount” rather than “on mount”.  Har does not necessarily mean “mountain” but “hill country” as well. Hence, the Temple was built in the land of Moriah, but not specifically on the same mountain where Abraham was to make the sacrifice.

The location of Ornan’s threshing floor is known:

17 And David spake unto the Lord when he saw the angel that smote the people, and said, “Lo, I have sinned, and I have done wickedly: but these sheep, what have they done? let thine hand, I pray thee, be against me, and against my father's house.” 18 And Gad came that day to David, and said unto him, “Go up, rear an altar unto the Lord in the threshingfloor of Araunah the Jebusite.” 19 And David, according to the saying of Gad, went up as the Lord commanded. (2 Sam 24:17-19)

God’s House was built where David had built an altar to God. The meaning of Araunah is “large tree and Yah is firm” (Abarim Publications). Remember that Luz means “twisted almond tree” (from the above)? Well, almonds must be shelled to be consumed. Perhaps the threshing floor was for almonds, and not so much for grain, and if so, it makes sense that Araunah’s Threshing floor would be by the large almond tree belonging to Ornan.

The name “Ornan” is a form of Aaron (ibid). Perhaps this threshing floor belonged to Aaron long before, and that Araunah was a mere description of what it was threshing.

Of course, Aaron was never permitted to enter the Promise Land, but he was “High Priest”. That raises another question? Was Solomon’s Temple meant to be Aaron’s House, rather than the House of God? That makes sense because God Himself indicated that He had never needed a House. The First Temple was likely for the House of Aaron that Solomon would build for him! The Temple for God would become the priestly temple for their Covenant with God.

With that said, if the Foundation Stone beneath the Dome of the Rock was Ornan’s Threshing Floor, then that place is the location of the Temple. However, it does not make it the Mount Moriah.

Because Mount Moriah is a range of mountains, it is not precisely known the location of the specific mountain on which Isaac was about to be sacrificed.

Because the sacrifice of Isaac was a foreshadowing of the sacrifice of Jesus, it makes sense that God would have the same type of sacrifice previewed on the same mountain. With that said, then the specific mountain on which Isaac was to be sacrificed was perhaps, Golgotha — “the place of the skull”.

In my book, The Skull of Adam, I commented on why Golgotha, or Calvary, was the place of Adam’s skull. Indeed, it may have been, and early church fathers believed that to be true.

Shem and Melchizedek were to take the remains of Adam to the Ark, and to bury it in a place where it would be redeemed in 5500 years.  Melchizedek would know that mountain because He would be the King that would die there. In other words, the Man who would be called “Jesus” took Adam to be buried where He Himself would die. If that is true, then the blood of Jesus would have flowed onto the cranium (Greek; kranion) of Adam.

Cranium, the part of the skull enclosing the brain. In Latin it is rendered Calvariae Locus, from which the English term Calvary derives. (Wikipedia; “Calvary”)

Just what was the sin of Adam? He was hearkening to his wife rather than God. [iv] His thoughts were on Eve rather than Yahweh. He wanted to please “the mother of all living” rather than the Father of all those alive!

His own thoughts were his “adversary”, and the Serpent was just a catalyst for bad thinking.

Catalyzing sin is temptation and that is yielding to the catalysts. In that case it was Satan! Adam satisfied Satan because he thought his thoughts rather than God’s!

David knew that process well: “Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts” (Psalm 139:23). God knew Adam’s thoughts without much searching. Calvary was meant to cancel out the thoughts of Adam, and does it not make sense that Calvariae Locus (Latin) would be the place of redemption?

The entrance of Jacob into the Holy Land may offer a clue. Jacob had a dream about a ladder to heaven. He saw angels ascending and descending. When he awakened, he sensed that God had been there and, “He was afraid, and said, ‘How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.’” (Gen 28:17). Why would Jacob say that the House of God there was “dreadful”? It is written in the Book of Malachi, “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord” (Mal 4:5).

That Great and Dreadful Day of the Lord is explained:

Behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings… (Mal 4:1-2)

That place was “dreadful” because before that day, Elijah would come. Well, Elijah did come on the day that Jesus was transfigured. [v] When Jesus was transfigured was the enunciation of the Day of the Lord. God came down so that God in three “Persons” would die on the Cross. The Cross is God’s “threshing floor”.

Ornan’s threshing floor was for priests to thresh the good from the bad based on their appearances. In other words, “God’s House” would not be the Temple, and not even the Cross, but Adam’s kind judged thereon.

Jacob had slept in “God’s House” but all that was there was the ladder to heaven and the heavens themselves. Perhaps the Celestial Dome was that “House”.

God’s House was never a building but a canopy. The celestial dome is the House of God. It is not specifically at the celestial axis on the Foundation Stone, but the dome is wherever mankind stands. THE Celestial Dome of Jesus is where Jesus was standing when he died. Thus, the Rock of Salvation — Jesus — is God and the celestial axis is the Cross standing on the Calvariae Locus.

The noun “locus” means “a center of activity, attention, or concentration” (Merriam-Webster Dictionary). Throughout the Bible, the Temple was that center. There they would look toward the Holy of Holies and focus on God.

When Jesus was nailed to the Cross, the veil concealing the Holy of Holies was ripped asunder.[vi] No longer would the Temple be the “Locus” but the Holy Cross. It is the Cross that is the “steeple” of the Church, not the Dome over the Foundation Stone. Perhaps in the Lexicon of God, that dome would represent the heavens, but the Cross is the “Ladder” that extends through the heavens to God in the Tenth Heaven.

The medical definition of the word “locus” is a “term that we use to tell us where a chromosome or   specific gene is” (National Human Genome Research Institute). Remembering that “Calvariae” is the cranium — the very “dome” that protects the mind, then whose “dome” was it? It represents at least three domes and maybe all kinds.  The Specific Gene that was there would be the gene of God. Jesus was the “gene” generated by God for His Purpose of “healing” just as Malachi wrote.

The ram that God provided to Abraham has great significance in Satanism. The ram represents the Satanist pentagram. The ram was the scapegoat for Isaac at that time. Rather than God’s Son that would be sacrificed with Isaac, the ram was the flesh, or son, of the Wicked One. The Place of the Skull would apply to the ram as well, and of course, that ram symbolized both Satan and Judas with Satan in Him. It turns out that Judas was “crucified” in the mountains of Moriah as well, but by his own hand just as the Father did to His Son.

Now read on about the “Locus”: Just what is a “gene”? “A specific sequence of nucleotides in DNA or RNA that is located usually on a chromosome and that is the functional unit of inheritance controlling the transmission and expression of one or more traits” (Merriam Webster Dictionary). A gene is the locus of life. It is the sequence of DNA and RNA that God provided to make mankind a living being. In other words, never tamper with RNA or DNA.

The jabs misnamed, “vaccine”, are mRNA that effects the function of DNA. In other words, the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines could be the ultimate sin. They transform what God as generated. Essentially, that is what happened when Cain was born of the Wicked One. [vii]

Now back to the House of God: It is likely not the Temple that some say are ON Mount Moriah. Moriah would be the range of mountains in and near Jerusalem. Among them is mount Golgotha, or Calvary.

Perhaps, the sacrifice of Abraham was at Calvary, as was suggested early in this commentary. Since the House of God is where God IS, then where He last was is His House. His Triune “Locus” is now on His Throne in Heaven, but when he died, His Triune Locus — Mind, Body, and Spirit — was the Godhead on the Cross. Thus, the Locus of God in earth when the Holy Ghost was given up, is the Calvariae Locus at the location of the real House of God.

Jacob saw the ladder and called the place “Beth-El” [viii] The House of God at Bethel was not the Temple but the invisible Church that would be built with Jesus as the “Cornerstone”.

Isaiah saw that Church long before: “Therefore thus saith the Lord God, “Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste” (Isa 28:16).

God’s House was at Bethel, not under the Dome of the Rock where the Foundation Stone lies. That Rock has a hole through its flat surface. The Foundation Stone which once was under the Temple is the “locus” of all attention, even as the Axis Mundi and the Celestial Axis. Mankind has been fooled all this time!

Jews still look for the Temple to be built but God’s House is completed and now under the process of being torn down! God cannot allow that to happen. What a terrible day that will be!

But where is Bethel? The location is ascribed to the city situated there at the present, but factually, no one knows where Jacob laid his head that night so long ago! I submit that it is the same place that the Mind of God was laid to rest when it was finished nearly 2000 years ago! Why the place of the cranium (Calvaraie Locus)? It is the Place that God’s Mind was at Peace for Peace had been fulfilled.

According to scripture, it makes sense that the House of God would be where the Church was built. The very place its Cornerstone was laid on wood! It was not laid on the Foundation Stone, but on the Rock of Salvation! Jesus said, “Upon this Rock (Himself, saying it to Peter), I will build my church; and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it.” The House of God was surely Calvary. Hence Calvary is the foundation of Beth-El; to wit:

Ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; in whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord” (Ephes 2:19-21)

The location of the invisible House of God (Bethel) is on Calvary. That is where Jesus laid the foundation of the true Bethel. There was a new beginning. It being “finished” on the Cross pertains to many things, and the veil ripped is one of the many! No longer would the Foundation of God’s House be anywhere but on Calvary! Those who look to the Cross, implied in John 3:14, are the “lively stones” and the genesis of the new Paradise in heaven where God was, but for us a Mansion with many rooms!

  Consider the following passages:

Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, “Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile! Nathanael saith unto him, “Whence knowest thou me?” Jesus answered and said unto him, “Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.” Nathanael answered and saith unto him, “Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.” Jesus answered and said unto him, “Because I said unto thee, ‘I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou?’ thou shalt see greater things than these.” And He saith unto him, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.” (John 1:47:51)

Jacob was dreaming as if he was there. It seems that he was there in spirit.

One would think that Bethel is the House of God called “Solomon’s Temple but is it really? Is Bethel real or is it where the heart is? Just as the celestial dome is the location of where they stood?

David built an altar to the Lord on Araunah’s threshing floor to there burn offerings to God. But Solomon built for Him a House: “Build ye the sanctuary of the Lord God, to bring the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and the holy vessels of God, into the house that is to be built to the name of the Lord” (1 Chron 22:19). Solomon’s Temple was for the Name of the Lord; it was for Jesus.

Jesus said to a certain man who would follow Him, “Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head” (Luke 9:58). Jesus, when He was young, taught in the Temple, and when He was mature, He cleansed the Temple, but Jesus never resided in the Temple. It was not His Temple at all. God had told David long before that he did not need a House, and He was true to His Word. Had God not told David His abode?

4 And it came to pass that night, that the word of the Lord came unto Nathan, saying, 5 “Go and tell my servant David, ‘Thus saith the Lord, ‘Shalt thou build me an house for me to dwell in? 6 Whereas I have not dwelt in any house since the time that I brought up the children of Israel out of Egypt, even to this day, but have walked in a tent and in a tabernacle. 7 In all the places wherein I have walked with all the children of Israel spake I a word with any of the tribes of Israel, whom I commanded to feed my people Israel, saying, ‘Why build ye not me an house of cedar?’” (2 Sam 7:4-7)

David got his way. God had Solomon build the House for David. The Temple was for the House of David and his priests… not for God. God continued to be with David wherever he went. God’s “House” was wherever righteous men walked His Way.

Jesus said, “My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves” (Mat 21:13). The Temple was not God’s abode but a place to pray to God without seeing God face to face.

A veil separated God from man in the Temple. Only outside the Temple did they see God — in a cloud, as a fire, in the burning bush, wrestling with Jacob, in the fiery furnace and supplying the ram as the sacrifice. The death of Jesus tore that veil in two. Then in 70 AD God appointed Titus to tear down that house, just as he had before. The Jews required a House for themselves, and Herod rebuilt the Temple for them to appease them for his unholy presence.

Jesus did admit that the Temple was built for God when he said, “Did you not know that I must be in my Father's house?” (Luke 2:49) but He was only teaching there.

All that was to explain that the Temple of God was not truly Solomon’s or Herod’s Temple. Jesus validated that with the following conversation: “And as He went out of the temple, one of His disciples saith unto him, ‘Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!’  And Jesus answering said unto him, ‘Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down’” (Mark 13:1-2). Jesus was taunted and accused that He would tear down the Temple. His death did that for the Temple will be of no further use?

God built His own House! The hands of David, Solomon, or Herod would not be required:

4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, 5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. 6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, “Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.” (1 Pet 2:4-6)

God’s House is spiritual. It cannot be seen. Its material is living souls — those living for God and with God. God’s House is a place to offer spiritual sacrifices, even our own flesh! And that Church has Jesus as its Cornerstone. He is there and always will be.

It turns out that God’s House even in patriarchal times was having its spiritual foundation built through the prophets. Few saw the Church that God was building! But also, they were focusing on one hill in Jerusalem, and the wrong hill as well!

God was building His own House on Calvariae Locus — on the skull of Adam who is believed to be buried under “the place of Adam’s skull.” Adam, if that is true, would be sprinkled by the blood and water from the Body of God, and his sins redeemed after all that time. The Church may have been built on the bones of Adam with Jesus the Cornerstone.

The mortar for the Church was mixed with the dust from which Adam was generated, and this time, rather than just a mist from the earth, [ix] it was blood and flowing water. Nobody knows the Locus of Calvary for certain, but “Gordon’s Calvary” seems to be the best fit. Gordon’s Calvary is Jeremiah’s Grotto. On that small mount is the face of a skull with two indented eyes in the rock. The mouth of the “skull” is a cave and inside, the archeologist, Ron Wyatt, believes that he found the treasures of the Temple.

Wyatt said that there was dried blood from the crevice to the Mercy Seat on the Ark of the Covenant. That is based on what Wyatt claims that he saw. One thing that is convincing, and that is the blood that he had tested. Jews tested that blood and confirmed that it was neither the blood of a person nor the blood of an animal. The DNA was genetically of a different kind! [1] Wyatt called it, “The Blood of the Messiah.”

According to Wyatt’s report, the maternal DNA was all there but the paternal DNA was the Y-DNA alone without any other chromosomes. [2] Did Wyatt truly find the Calvariae Locus? Is it “Gordon’s Calvary”, named after the 19th century archeologist who made that claim?

That grotto is on the Moriah range of mounts. If that is the case, then the grotto beneath is the present-day physical House of God. Wyatt claimed to have seen all the utensils of the Temple there that were covered with ancient skins. Did Jeremiah make a new Temple underground to preserve the gold, silver, brass, incense, and so forth that was in the Second Temple before it was destroyed?

All that will be found out when all things are revealed, but until then the House of God is in Christians: “What? know ye not that your body is the Temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?” (1 Cor 6:19).

Now back to astronomy: Wherever you stand and look out into the stars, there lies the Temple of God. That celestial dome is the spiritual Mount Moriah and Calvariae Locus. The celestial dome may be the “skull” of God, the “Mind” that made it all.

The steeple of the Church is the Holy Cross, and it provides the Way to God above the “cranium” of the universe. God built that “House” and it was constructed on the “fourth day”. [x]

God had a House all the time, built by His Hands. Jesus built the House for Adam’s kind [xi] for them to worship in. Wherever you are, there God IS! There is God’s Temple. With that said, Jesus laid the Cornerstone, not when Solomon built the Temple, but when the Rock on which the world was built was laid. It matters little where that rock lies but that Adam’s kind see that Jesus is the Rock of Salvation.

All this commentary was to confirm what God inspired men to write is true. Existence — the celestial dome — is proof that God is real and that His Word is Truth. “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse” (Rom 1:20).

The celestial sphere and the earthly sphere are proof enough. The former is God’s Throne and the latter His Footstool. God asked rhetorically, “The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?” (Isa 66:1). God built His own House, the foundation which is the earth, and the “House” the heaven.

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth” (Gen 1:1). In the beginning God provided the material and space for His House. Calvary was His “footstool” and Paradise in heaven, His throne. That is God’s House!

Emmanuel — “God With Us.” [xii]

Lastly, for Jacob’s dream. His locus (thoughts), he called, “Bethel” but he knew not whether he was dreaming or not. Was Bethel where Jacob’s body was laying, or was it where he was dreaming? Jacob’s ladder was surely the Holy Cross in the mountains of Moriah — “The Place of Reverence of Yah”. With that said, Bethel would be the Calvariae Locus.

[2] I was astounded at that finding because my own hypothesis in the book, On the Origin of Man and the Universe, that spiritual life is of YY-DNA alone. If that is true, then the God-Man Jesus has only His Father’s DNA as the Son of God and all His mother’s DNA as the Son of Man.
