ON INTOLERANCE

 

 

  The most divisive idea at this moment in history is intolerance. The best example of tolerance in the Bible, of course, is God who has grace on everyone even as all sin against Him. Ultimately, the English word “sin” comes from 17^th century Danish, es which means “to be.”

  Although everyone, in their hearts, want to be the master of their domain — the one esteemed by others and themselves, but only God is. As such, they may not perceive it, but they are adversarial to God, and not by coincidence that is the meaning of Satan, the “Adversary.” As scripture says, Cain was of the Wicked One and in the parable of the tares, it implies that all, since all have sinned, are children of the Wicked One.

  Personally, I detest that idea, but before I submitted to God that only He IS and “I AM” not, I was a child of the Devil and had Satan in me. Before you think of me uncomfortably, you too were and may still be of the Wicked One.

  Although God is so tolerant of sinners, that He has the grace to change us, there is a limit to His tolerance. When he sees our hearts hardened so much that there will never be any conversion, then He is the most intolerant. The wages of sin is death, as is written, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Rom 6:23). Death therein is not just torture of the flesh forever, but an isolated mind from good, and a soul that perishes, so slowly that it never dies. 

  So, God is at the same time, the most tolerant and the most intolerant. Romans 6:23 is God’s Paradox of Tolerance, or Intolerance, depending on your spiritual condition.

  The world has gradually equivocated intolerance with hatred and tolerance for love. Years ago, it was considered good to be a “discriminating man.” Discrimination now has been made evil by the world.

  God has always discriminated. One preacher wrote that nowhere in the Bible does God discriminate against a person. Speaking of the Hebrews, God made that clear, “For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God, and the Lord hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth” (Deut 14:2), and He made it clear with Christians as well, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light” (1 Pet 2:9).

  Therefore, in the past God, discriminated against those that He cursed: Cain and his seed, Canaan and his seed, and those like them. In fact, God demanded that the Jews put away their foreign wives after the Diaspora to Babylon:

² And Shechaniah the son of Jehiel, one of the sons of Elam, answered and said unto Ezra, We have trespassed against our God, and have taken strange wives of the people of the land: yet now there is hope in Israel concerning this thing.

³ Now therefore let us make a covenant with our God to put away all the wives, and such as are born of them, according to the counsel of my lord, and of those that tremble at the commandment of our God; and let it be done according to the law.

⁴ Arise; for this matter belongeth unto thee: we also will be with thee: be of good courage, and do it. (Ezra 10:2-4)

   Why did God ask that hard thing — for the Jews to discriminate against the Samaritans? Was it because they were Samaritans (Cuthean Medes) that the Assyrians had moved to Israel after removing the Ten Tribes? Was it because their blood was unclean? No; it was because their hearts were not right with the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The Cutheans had created a type of God worship in Samaria that just was not right! They had a different temple and a different Holy Mountain. God discriminated against them because they had had time to get it right but failed to.

  Why would the Samaritans object to the Jews rebuilding the Temple of God? It was because of arrogance and ill will. They already had their Temple so to have a grander one built on foreign (Judean) soil would diminish them. It was the Samaritans who were intolerant after all even though we have been taught that the Good Samaritan was the most righteous. That one was, but Samaritans were detestable to God because they had a type of righteousness that was unrighteous to Him.

  Christians are called to discriminate as well: “And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them” (Luke 2:5). Their reward for rejecting God and his messengers is very intolerant of God: “It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city” (Mark 6:11).

  God had tolerated Sodom and Gomorrah long enough, Symbolically, He shook the dust off His divine Feet by turning it to ashes in a dead place (the Dead Sea and land around it).

  Tolerance has its limits but, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). The world therein is not the earth but its people — “whosoever.” All along God loved whosoever.

  The problem is that whosoever rejected Him. That was most obvious with Sodom and Gomorrah where nearly everyone rejected Him. Face it, destroying entire cities would be considered intolerant by today’s standards!

  When things go wrong, most people blame God. The world considers God an intolerant God and Jesus an intolerant man. Why would they believe that? “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6).

  Jesus ruled out Muslims, Hindus, and even non-converted Jews — His own people because they reject His beloved Son. They consider Jesus as intolerant even as some of them (Muslims) are the most intolerant! And although God loves them as well as the Jews, God will be intolerant of His first chosen people if they continue to reject Jesus. It has nothing to do with race but the innermost man… the “person” inside to whom their hearts belong.

  The heart is the innermost man. It is on whom the mind dwells, on whose will he does, and in whom he trusts. The innermost man has an open door for the Holy Spirit to enter; not just any spirit but the Holy Spirit.

  So, all the while that God loves the world so much that He sacrificed His only Son, He is discriminating. He requires that everyone, not just white Christians, love his son.

  Divine love (agape) is not an emotional feeling of attraction. It is having goodwill toward God and His creatures (Strong’s Dictionary). God has Good Will toward everyone (John 3:16) and as such, God does expect two things: goodwill toward Him and others. Goodwill, not only in mind, but “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind… and … thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself (Mat 22:37, 39).

  That does away your being “to be” the end-all. God IS and your neighbor is the “to be.” You love yourself, and God made it clear that you are to love Him with all that intensity, and likewise others. In other words, you are not to esteem yourself but God and others. Esteem of yourself is iniquity. You keep you from having goodwill toward others if your life is all about you.

  Division among peoples is because people overestimate themselves and underestimate God and others. God will not tolerate ill-will toward Him or others.

  The “Serpent” pegged it right when he warned that their natures would change — from mere images of God to be as God (Gen3:5). Therefore, narcissism was born with the first sin.

  Intolerance from people is narcissistic. It is the idea that one person is supreme to another and the other needs to be put in his place.

  Ironically, those who scream “intolerant” as they point the finger is usually the most intolerant. Philosopher, Karl Popper, sees that not only as desirable but the way to end intolerance — “in order to maintain a tolerant society, the society must retain the right to be intolerant of intolerance” (Wikipedia; “Paradox of Tolerance”). With that said, just who are the most intolerant? Those who cannot stand the idea that someone else thinks differently than the “sophisticated” ones. In other words, that others are in the “basket of deplorables” (Hillary Clinton).

  Who sets the standards for tolerance? The sophisticated. Those who have been educated how to combat hatred.

  Scripture reveals how to combat hatred: “Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord.” (Lev 19:18). You see, love was the antidote for hatred even in Old Testament times!

  But now, hatred is the antidote for hatred. Intolerance is defined as an unwillingness to grant freedom of expression (Merriam-Webster). Some sophisticated person or persons transformed censorship into hatred with their constant repetition. Those who consider themselves “enlightened” in days gone by did not hate the person but the idea. Now, they hate the person so much that they cannot stand the thought that they should even exist.

  How would Popper’s Paradox be implemented? (1) By silencing those with opposing ideas, and/or (2) by ostracizing them publicly to keep them quiet. The last alternative is (3) to destroy them either by isolation from the public arena or sometimes murder. Hitler used the latter, and the result was a homogeneous society whose very thoughts and actions were controlled. The Germans of the Third Reich became automatons in the image of their Fuehrer.

  On the other hand, more “civilized” nations such as America banish them from commerce and the media. Those who will not shut their own mouths will be shut up by force. The American way in this age is to silence those who commit thought crimes. Worse yet, they impeach those who endeavor to implement their ideologies.

  Hitler used fear to control the Jews and to create a new breed of intolerant socialists. The German “Aryans” were not Aryan but “Arrogants.” They were so narcissistic that they were not only intolerant of capitalists but even those whose skin was their color but their minds much different. They were intolerant of Jews because Jews were successful, and that distinction should be for pure-blooded Germans alone.

  National Socialists were intolerant of Jews because Jews perceived themselves as God’s chosen, but the Germans saw them as intolerant. Even before Popper, Hitler used his Paradox very well. To rid Germany and the world of intolerant Judaism they were intolerant of Jews themselves. Their crime of intolerance: they killed the Savior.

  God killed His own Son. Jesus was the sacrifice for all the sins of mankind. He killed Jesus because of us — Jew and Gentile, Aryans and Jews. The Nazi way was if you cannot stand their way of thinking just kill them!

  Censorship is a milder form of persecution than the holocaust. It started with censorship and ostracization of the Jews. They were removed from commerce, the public arena, from the press, and humanity. They were silenced and reduced to another species before it was all over.

  Finally, the German media convinced the people that Jews were semi-human parasites that infected all mankind with their bad ways of thinking and acting. Before one Jew was ever gassed, they were made non-beings. It was much easier to exterminate mere pests than real people. By the time the propaganda machine was through, Jews had been diminished to trash to be burned. That is how the intolerant operate. That can be seen at the present.

  Some dislike that I constantly warn in social media about how gradually America is becoming Nazified. It is not Marxist communism that you are witnessing but the German version of Marxism, National Socialism. The “national” part has become global with the pandemic, and someone is orchestrating it world-wide.

  The most "tolerant" of the “tolerant” are psychologists. The day that they were allowed in the schools changed this nation and now the whole world. Their persona is one of tolerance but their shadow one of the greatest intolerance. If anyone does not think their way, then they are labeled. Once the label was only “intolerant,” but it was not enough to hate the minds of another person, it had to be their flesh to make it so offensive.

  The new label is “racist” and who propagates that notion? The racist democrats. You know, the party that isolated the Indians, the party that isolated and imprisoned the Negroes, the party that kept them in their place, and now the party that uses their votes to retain their antebellum power. Now it is the racist calling the freedom-fighters “racist.” It is the intolerant decimating the tolerant under the guise of tolerance.

  How intolerant has the opposition become? So much that hey cannot stand the idea that you will not do as they say. Even some of my friends and relatives ostracize me for having the strong belief that I do not desire to be “raped” with a needle by some intolerant government “robot.”

  Society has now turned into a “Fourth Reich” so to speak. Rather than German intolerance of Jews it is the vaccinated that are intolerant of those who are not; the arrogant ones who insist that we become “better human beings” by sacrificing our identity (DNA), and cannot stand the thought that we are able to be outside our homes. The unvaxxed are the modern-era version of biblical lepers who so-called righteous people would shun because they were ignorant of the true science of passing along leprosy.

  They even demanded that lepers wear masks even when leprosy was not prevalent. In those days the intolerant made a strong demand, “And the leper in whom the plague is, his clothes shall be rent, and his head bare, and he shall put a covering upon his upper lip, and shall cry, ‘Unclean, unclean.’” (Lev 13:45). Put on your mask, leper, shut up, and stay away! 95% of the people who contract leprosy never develop the disease (Wikipedia). But for the common and greater good, lepers had to keep their place and wear masks. It was truly for the good of the few!

  Isolation of the ill is one strategy but note that it was not recommended that all the population wear masks and stay away; it was just the sick!

  When I shop and see so many wearing masks, I assume that they have been convinced that they are vaccinated and ready to be out. They are “better” people because they are keeping the world safe!

  Even though the vaccinations were meant to offer immunity, it offered nothing more than a false sense of security. In the presence of those people, even when I wear my masks for the benefit of the protected, I feel as if I should cry out about me, “Unclean! Unclean!”

  Recently, a friend as much as called me a “swine.” Swine are unclean animals. That person claims to be tolerant in all things, but he called me Unclean! Unclean! by his swine comment. Is that tolerant? Am I a different “species” now that my blood remains free of the acid injection, for that is what it is?

  When I am sick, I stay home. That is the self-isolation that scripture proposes. Why would those who are not sick stay home if the sick do? Especially, when they are told that masks work?

  The direction I was headed in the beginning was not so much about the current dilemma but general intolerance. However, in the last two years, I have seen more intolerance than I have ever seen before, and it is about two things: race and vaccines. Ironically, the most intolerant in both cases have been the “tolerant” burning down cities to rid the nation of intolerance, and the “tolerant” demanding that you think just like they do about COVID and vaccinations.

  In both cases, because intolerance exists, they are free to hate with impunity and laws are even passed that provoke hatred.

  Intolerance was about eliminated in Nazi Germany. All those who thought differently than the Party were either murdered or remolded by their media. By the time of the War, the Germans were uniform in their thinking, and if they were not, the Gestapo hunted them down for hate crimes — “hatred” according to the Party definition.

  This week, the American version of the Gestapo was formed under the disguise of tolerance. The Party here cannot stand the idea that the thoughts of others are not the thoughts of the Party and are hunting down civil people for thought crimes. The National Security Division of the Department of Justice was created in 2005 to monitor and prevent domestic terrorism. It quickly turned into a type of Gestapo that even monitored mostly those on the right, ideologically. They monitored the thoughts of we the people for the “greater good.”

  But that was not enough. Now that soccer moms who complain about their children’s education have been so vocal, a new division has been formed to label them and shut them down. Now even Christian moms and dads have become “terrorists” because they think differently than the elite in the educational system.

  The NEA and their state divisions have spread the real virus; that those who think differently need their thoughts changed. Because they have your kids, they are quite effective. You can go to work, go on vacation, or even watch movies or play video games without worry! All the while, the NEA is making some non-inquiring “Stepford Wives,” for some, and for others, terroristic rebels who burn down cities and destroy statues. They do all that in the name of tolerance to eliminate racism while they utilize the black race for their socialist battles! No wonder Democrat operative, Jonathan Gruber, called Americans “stupid!”

  Who determines what is normal and who is normal? In this nation, the American Psychiatric Association. Do you not like how some of your children have become narcissistic terrorists in your home and schools? Blame the APA.

  Do you dislike the “new normal” that queer sex is natural and that there are many genders waiting to be freed from binary bodies? Blame the APA. They have gotten into the minds of people through the government. Their thoughts have become the “science” as young minds are washed clean in preparation to obey the government!

  Psychology is the religion of the “self” where each ego is a god. They even have their own unholy trinity: ego, id, and superego. They have become as gods and whatever they think up, most people do!  It is a pseudo-religion represented as scientific. It is as much “scientology” as Scientology! Their doctrine is not really goodwill like Christianity, but your own will be done as in LeVey’s brand of Satanism.

  The most intolerant are usually those who claim tolerance. Who are the racists in America at the present? Not Mister white Christian but the blacks you see on the streets hating to eliminate hatred. Popper’s Paradox should have been called the “Paradox of Insanity.” It is an insane world that we live in and is now run by the insane.

  The insanity is spreading faster than COVID. People think that the “New Normal” is normal. So did the Germans of the 1930s and 1940s.

  The Great Commission is to go into the world and spread love. The Great Offensive (The Great Reset) is to go unto the world and spread division. Unfortunately, they have been more effective than the church.

  Right now, I am as hated as the prophet, Jeremiah, because I go along with neither the “king” nor the “priests,” just as Jeremiah who had his own mind. Even those who should love me for worrying about their future, deny me. It will get worse, so stand by.
