The parallels between the creation and the fall (Gen 1-3) are a remarkable foreshadowing of the gospels. Indeed, the Creation story and man’s fall is the “gospel” to Jews. It is the story of the Messiah!
First off, examine the setting. Both were not only in the Garden of Eden but the “midst of the Garden” wherein there were two trees (Gen 2:9). The two trees on Good Friday when Jesus died were in the same place — in Jerusalem. The “Tree of Life” was on Calvary and nearby the “tree of false wisdom” was nearby in the valley of Gehenna.
It the exact locations compare to the beginning, then rather than standing on the mountain, Adam and Eve would have chosen the valley of Gehenna, or “Hell.” It is ironic that to this day most still stand in the valley rather than the mountain, and choose Hell just like Adam, Eve, and Judas did.
That the regeneration of man and the generation in the beginning were at the “navel of the world” (Jerusalem) only makes sense. Added to that is that the Foundation Stone under the Dome of the Rock is the celestial axis of the firmament (celestial dome) then the setting of the Crucifixion should be obvious. Do you need more? Jerusalem means “foundation of peace” and Jesus provided peace on that “foundation.” He was the “Foundation Stone” all the time but was rejected as that by the Jews (Mat 21:42).
Golgotha is the “place of the skull” or literally the calvariae locus or cranium location. Whose cranium might that be? The skull of Adam because Adam was the first to consciously sin. Jesus came to redeem His brother, so He returned to the place of sin, or the crime scene.
Calvary, wherever it truly is, would be the location of original sin. Constantine’s mother, Helena, identified the now accepted locus of calvariae but could she have got it wrong? Ron Wyatt accepts “Gordon’s Calvary,” Jeremiah’s Grotto, as the place of the skull and it is more fitting, given that Wyatt saw what he saw.
Jesus defeated sin. Would He not come where the world began
to overcome the world? Would He not redeem mankind the exact place that man
first sinned? Would He not come back to the very location that it all began to
begin it again?
And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. (Rev 22:1-2)
John was shown the Tree of Life that was in the middle of
the Garden. That “Tree” was there in the beginning and at the Crucifixion and
after the Re-creation. John saw it happen in a vision:
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. (Rev 21:1-2)
John was revealed that the Holy City, New Jerusalem, would come down to its foundation, and that would be to Jerusalem. God will “replant” the Tree of Life where it stood in the beginning.
John was shown a “pure river of water of life.” What river was revealed to John after the regeneration of all things? John was shown the Jordan River wherein Jesus was baptized with the Holy Ghost. The “throne of God and the Lamb” was the Holy Cross since Jesus is that Lamb (John 1:21)!
Naral ha Yarden is Hebrew for the Jordan River. It literally means the “River of the Garden.”
The Jordan River is the Pure River of Life and that is why
John baptized there. It was the “mist of the ground” (Gen 2:6) that watered the
Garden of Eden and molded Adam. It is the same River of God that molded Jesus:
21 Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, 22 And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, “Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.” 23 And Jesus Himself began to be about thirty years of age… (Luke 3:21-23a)
Examine the birth of Jesus: God formed matter in the shape of Adam. Mary delivered into the world a molded form. She provided the world a man from the “bowels” of God as the Bible might say, just as Yahweh delivered His son, Adam from the bowels of the Earth — the dust of the ground (Gen 2:7). That was the process of molding mankind.
Then in that same passage, God “breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” When Jesus was born that was the molding process, then when He was baptized Jesus became spiritually alive. With that said, the birth of Jesus was a thirty-year process (Luke 3:23a). Does it not make sense that the creation of Adam was a long process as well?
Some theologians say that Jesus is the “Second Adam.” That is not in scripture! But Jesus is indeed the “Last Adam” (Rom 5:19). He is the Alpha and Omega. He is the Alpha Man and the Omega Man (Rev 1:8). He is the Last Man Standing! He is the image after which the first man was made (Gen 1:27). Adam looked like Jesus would look, and Jesus, Adam.
Lucifer was created in the heaven. When is debatable, but sometimes either on the first or second “day.”
On that “day” much happened: angels were created, angels lived, Lucifer rebelled, he then conned the angels, and one-third of them fell. Then God cast them out of Paradise into the realm of Hell. Did that all happen on one twenty-four hour day, or was it a long process? The evidence of Lucifer and the angels point toward the “day” in which that all happened, was a long process.
Five times in the Old Testament time is referred to as a process, “in the process of time” (Gen 4:3; Gen 38:12; Exod 2:23; Jud 11:4; 2 Chron 2:14).
Scripture refers to “day” and “night:” “And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.” The original Hebrew means literally, “warming” and “twisting from the warming” (Strong’s Dict.). A day and night do fit those descriptions since the rising and setting of the Sun is a process that occurs every 24 hours. But on the first three days there was no Sun to rise and set. Processes all have different durations, and each “day” would be different times.
With that explanation the first “day” was the first process wherein space, matter, and time is created (Gen 1:1), but it is also on the first “day” that God thought and said “light” and light was made (Gen 1:3).
Illumination was created in the first process. It was not from the Sun but from God Himself. It was His Power, or His Holy Spirit bringing all things together. It was when, “the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters” (Gen 1:2). The Holy Spirit of God was that “Light” that provided the Power to create!
The matter (earth or elements) was without form. Figuratively “waters” is “juice” in the Hebrew and may refer abstractly to the “semen” of God, not that it was biological semen but particles in a type of seminal fluid that scientists would call “particles” in “superfuidity.”
Science was not there watching the order, but they describe the processes that they think might have happened, and for a large part they have it right if one considers the Hebrew!
With that, I am not making the creation fit the scientific viewpoint but demonstrating that God did the science that most scientists, excepting Albert Einstein and Machio Kaku, attribute to chance. However, it was not evolutionary but Creative using God’s Second Law of Thermodynamics before there was entropy (irrecoverable losses of energy).
Thus Genesis 1:1 introduces time, space, matter, and energy. So does E=Mc2 but the E is the Light of God, m is the earth or elementary particles, and c is the speed of the Light of God squared. Squared is important for the equation to balance. The prophet Isaiah caught that observation when he saw God “that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain” (Isa 40:22).
Indeed, the cosmic dome appears flat from the “circle of the Earth” (from that same verse), and as merely a curtain. The firmament, or dome, is so huge that from any one place it appears to be nothing more than a flat curtain, but it has the same curvature as the surface of the Earth.
Now imagine the universe emanating from God on His throne above. When He created Light, God would have provided the energy to create space (the invisible realm) and put the matter that He alone generated. That “semen” of God in space can be explained by particle matter in the superfluid that God generated. Scripture says that in different words. Scientists for years thought that they were denying God but all the while they were building the case for God. Michio Kaku revealed that conclusion like Einstein before him!
There is a problem though! In the viewpoint of most scientists, God is no more than particles in a superfluid who made nothing but changed matter from one form to another. In essence that is evolution. The problem with evolution is that there was no reason for the “Spark” (Higg’s Boson) and in Theo-dynamics, God is the Light who Sparked the processes!
God is the first and the last. He IS Existence. His time is Alpha and Omega. God is not only Creator, Power, and Mind, but Time itself, but His Time is not our time! “It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power” (Acts 1:7). God’s Time is beginning to ending, and it is eternal. Our “time” is the duration of the carbon in us!
The sun is not the true measure of time for us because it only measures days. Carbon measures eons and life itself. The identity of mankind is in their DNA and it’s basically a carbon chain, and maybe the “silver cord” of Solomon which is literally the “pale twisted thread” (ibid). Does that not describe the double-helix of DNA?
Time was made for man because God is eternal! Man is carbon based and our time is measured in the half-lives of carbon.
Decay started with the original sin. Before sin, time would have no utility and no meaning since each day was as glorious as the next! Our time surely commences with the first sin when decay (decadence) entered unto the world. In other words, entropy is more than the measure of unrecoverable energy but its rate of loss as well.
Now is AD 2022. The year of the world (anno mundi) is AM 5783.The year of the world would start when Adam was cast out of the Garden into the surrounding lands. Thus, the year of the world was not when the earth (matter) was created but when the carbon in man began to decay as Adam and Eve did when they sinned.
That all surely happened in the middle of the Garden of Eden — the Land of Milk and Honey — called “Israel.” Time started right there, and John the Revelator saw it ending right there, and also God recreating it as He did in the beginning, and in the same place!
There is much scriptural evidence that the Kingdom of David is “Eden” and that place is the original “Israel.” It arcs from the Nile in Egypt to the Euphrates near where Noah’s Ark landed. The “bow” that was shown Noah was most certainly the fertile crescent of the Kingdom of David, and right there in its midst was where the Cross was planted.
God showed Noah the Promise and the Place and placed the time when it was again as it was with him (Luke 17:26). Now is the time of salvation because Adam’s and Noah’s kind were redeemed in the middle of that arc. Noah was a latter Adam and Abel possibly the “second Adam” in that God made him very good as well!
God promised Abraham much. He went down to Egypt; that not only represents the world but is the world. On his and Lot’s way back, they encountered the beautiful cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. They had re-entered the despoiled Garden of Eden: “And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar” (Gen 13:10).
If that passage is examined, in the Hebrew it is not “even as” but merely “THE Garden of the LORD.” They had entered unto the Garden and the people of Sodom and Gomorrah were the “cherubim” that guarded the Way to the Tree of Life as foretold (Gen 3:24).
The plain of the Jordan (the River of the Garden) was the Way to the Tree of Life, and Yahweh promised Abraham entry. The Abrahamic Covenant was basically the directions to the Holy Cross of Jesus! The Cross that was in the middle of Noah’s bow (arc).
Perhaps for now it can be seen that the place of Creation originated at the cosmic axis on the Foundation Stone in Jerusalem, and that is where the re-creation began when Jesus redeemed mankind on a “tree” (Acts 5:3).
But there were two trees in the middle of the Garden. The Judas Tree was the other tree from which the “Serpent” was hanged in the body of Judas Iscariot (John 13:27).
Jesus was hanged nearer to God on Calvary — the Mind of God covered by His “Cranium.” However, Judas was hanged in the valley and buried in Gehenna (Hell). I believe that after Jesus gave up His Holy Ghost, that the bodily-shaped Spirit from Jesus, that broke the limb of the Judas Tree to kill Judas and escort Satan from him to Hell!
While Jesus was “asleep” in His tomb much was happening in the Realm of God! Satan was thrown out as a worm would be, and Dismus, the repentant thief, was escorted to Paradise in another realm that same day!
Thus describes the time and place of both the Creation and the first event of the Re-creation. Jesus, on the Cross, provided the Spirit of God again to restore the old, devolved person. That was symbolized by God who created the heavens — the invisible “matter.” His next step in the process of regeneration is taking the dust of the ground and making new imperishable flesh for Christians.
The time of the Crucifixion was planned. That is the day that God breathed life unto the nostrils of Adam’s kind. His blood and water would begin the process of making the earth anew. When the flesh of mankind is molded again is unknown, but it too is in God’s time: Jesus said of that time, “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only” (Mat 24:36).
Nobody but God knows the process of time for the regeneration of man, and in retrospect, nobody really knows the time for the generation of life in the beginning.
The generations were many processes, called “Covenants” in the Bible, the last ending with the Covenant of Grace. There remains another Covenant — the Resurrection wherein the flesh is remade in the image of God. When that happens, nobody knows. When for the erection of mankind, nobody knows the time, but they do the era. It was in the beginning, literally the “first rank” (ibid) of the process which is the Spirit generating the elements.
Tomorrow, another installment of the harmony of the Gospels to the Genesis of all things.
