ON ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE - Part 2

 Intelligence has a dictionary definition but is essentially a person’s capacity to understand the body of knowledge.

Think of intelligence as mental work. In the Greek that is katergazomai and is used to “work out your own salvation.” (Phil 2:12) in contrast to ergazomai — physical work.

For instance, physical works, like being good, are of no efficacy, but mental works, like considering the Word of God and becoming persuaded that Jesus is God, the Messiah/Christ, is solterial. For instance, “(King) Agrippa said unto Paul, ‘Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.’”

Becoming a Christian is transformational — “born again” (John 3:7); not born in a physical sense but transformed from a wicked one to a righteous one. You think and God does the transformation. The transformation is spiritual and authentic. It can be measured by the goodwill (agape love) that Christians have for others, Christians or not (John 13:34).

The point is that God does the “rebirthing,” not us. It is real, not a false transition (synthetism) but reality. Reality is in correspondence with the truth.

The change is whenever a sinner comes to realize the truth and agrees with it — that Jesus Christ is God and that only He can defeat death. (That’s what the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus proved.) That was not synthesized by God but performed. Jesus’s death and resurrection were not  magician’s tricks but the real deal.

Intelligent people consider that knowledge and believe it to be true. Intelligent people ask such things as these: 

·         The cosmos exists; how and why did it come about?

·         I am alive for what purpose?

·         Shall I always exist in some form?

·         Or as Pilate asked, “What is truth?”

·         Is Jesus God as He demonstrated with the unquest-ionable evidence?

 What you see and even things that you cannot see are evidence of God. Because you do not believe the evidence does not make existence unreal.

Essentially, since God is “Existence” then by questioning the evidence is questioning God. Existence is physically the body of knowledge of all things, and the source of that knowledge is not synthetic but reality.

Now back to “duplicity” from part one. Eve’s name means “Duplicity.” Why? Because she knew the truth but was deceived into accepting the falsehood that although God revealed the truth, the real truth was stated by Satan — God is wrong; you shall not die.

God said truth but Eve accepted another version, and as a result, her mind was sort of in duplicate… she held two opposing versions of the truth in her mind at the same time. In other words, even if the Beast messed with her flesh, it messed with her mind as well. (Her left brain was confused and her right brain caused her actions, so God had mercy on her.)

Since the time of Eve and original sin, duplicity is genetic in everyone since we all are of her progeny; we all believe the lie even whole professing to know the truth.

“Born again” is when God corrects the inherited duplicity and makes us free from the cunning of the Wicked One…. “Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32). Because we know the truth does not mean that we do not sin, but sin knowingly with eyes wide open like the man, Adam, in the beginning; for which Christians must continually repent.

The substance that intoxicated Eve to beguile her was in one of two things: either the “Serpent’s” venom or in the fruit, or perhaps both.

Psychologists have unwittingly validated the process of duplicity: Adam was created with one brain but somehow with two hemispheres — the left one with cognition and the right brain with action. In scripture, the left brain’s work is katergazomai and the right’s ergozamai, the former thought work and the latter physical work.

The cunning “Serpent” as it was called, knew that if it could control the thoughts of Eve, then it could control the behaviors of Eve. That is the same promise still in use to this day. The Serpent used deceptive propaganda (misinformation) to persuade Eve to change her actions; her not even knowing that she was about to change her nature from good by adding evil to it.

The other day, I asked my son, “How would a smart man kill you?”

“He did not know,” he said, “because he had never thought about it.”

“They” (killers) know that. They depend on you not knowing how to kill. I revealed to him new knowledge — the best killers will somehow get you to kill yourself. They well deceive and/or bully you so long, that suicide is inevitable, and there is no physical evidence that a person is murdered.

Right now, much of the world is stalked. Not with killers with guns but with evil-doers with processes. Perhaps one of those processes is artificial intelligence.

Consider the book 1984. Winston Smith was stalked. Sure, there were people stalking him, but the weapons were not guns but cunning; they like the Serpent long before confused reality. As it turns out, the government could change reality. Many people just accepted the lies, but Winston questioned their version of truth.

The government was patient with him and force-fed him new “truths.” They got him to question reality, even while knowing that he himself had altered reality. It took repetition, and as it turned out, continual repetition make one “truth.”

Right now, you have heard lies repeated every day, and most of you are beginning to believe that technology is for the good of mankind.

Eve thought that and Adam knew better, but when she ate, Adam was soon conditioned to believe the lie. He had no body of knowledge of evil to refute the Serpent, and because people nowadays have buried their heads to truth in virtual sand, they have no knowledge about anything except their favorite sports teams, actors, and drugs of choice.

In the book, Brave New World, the drug, soma, did what propaganda now does. It confuses the left brain’s cognition to allow the right brain to do whatever it wants to do.

Soma just means “body.” Huxley, the author, provided a significant truth — behavior was controlled by the “body” of knowledge that was put into it. That body of knowledge was limited to whatever substance was in the soma. In other words, the behaviors of the people were controlled by drugs, and when that failed, then by repetition. Propaganda slowly does what drugs do quickly.

The “Serpent” (image, nahash, of Lucifer) was synthetic in a real world. Satan did not need to be in the forbidden tree because his demon spirit was there. He is the “Prince of the Power of the Air” — his spirit that work in his children (Ephes 2:2).

Not a Serpent at all, but an evil spirit was in the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Evil knowledge was planted in the mind of Eve, and she saw an illusion, and was delusional as she thought the Spirit was another being like her. In the Books of Adam and Eve, both Adam and Eve fell for those illusions many times.

“Artificial intelligence” is a synthesis. It is also a form of duplicity. Symbolically, artificial intelligence is like the spirit of Lucifer.

Many important people fear artificial intelligence because it is a cunning (duplicity) way of altering our behaviors. They fear that the machine’s thinking will be convincing; so convincing that it can persuade people to think and behave differently.

If original sin was Lucifer doing that, the Big Lie is some great power may do it again. It worked once, why not again… and again… and again?

In a previous book, [1] I wrote about Wikipedia and its self-confessed contents. Wikipedia is the body of knowledge of the whole world whose contributors are 120,000 unidentified people whose motives may be either good or for evil. The originator of Wikipedia, Larry Sanger, now questions his own creation! He understands that it was meant for good but can be and is used for evil purposes.

Wikipedia is in over three-hundred languages. It is the entire global body of knowledge that, according to Wikipedia, has been digitized and converted to synthetic DNA. The intent of artificial intelligence is revealed in an article by that name: 

You awake one morning to find your brain has another lobe functioning. Invisible, this auxiliary lobe answers your questions with information beyond the realm of your own memory, suggests plausible courses of action, and asks questions that help bring out relevant facts. You quickly come to rely on the new lobe so much that you stop wondering how it works. You just use it. This is the dream of artificial intelligence. (Lemmons 1985)

 Artificial intelligence can induce paranoia in the victims and make them doubt reality and behave irrationally just as if they are on drugs. They do what bullies can do with guns and such, but they use knowledge against the victims. All “they,” whoever they are, need to do is convince you that ordinary coincidences are nefarious stalkers, and before you know it; invisible powers drive people to the point of suicide. That is now possible! Artificial intelligence can work behind the scenes to cause you to murder yourselves.

Let us suppose that you have done something wrong. We all have. Because we have done wrong, guilt ensues with the fear that we have been found out and maybe in danger from the police or others. To be honest, God presents unwelcome knowledge to the sinner to induce guilt and repentance. However, nefarious things can do the same thing.

Many have felt danger when a policeman is behind their cars. That is because they know that they have done wrong. The policeman can be there for any reason, but for some, he is there to get them. That is paranoia. You may not be the focus of attention, but your mind says he is there to get you.

As a teenager, whenever my minister preached about sin, he was after me, or so I thought. In later years, he told me that it was not me that he pursued but whoever applied it to themselves.

Artificial intelligence can be after me, after you, or after anyone because it may have the entire body of knowledge of each of us, knowing our likes, our habits, our “sins,” and our secret lives.

Artificial intelligence can know about us and have the entire body of knowledge of the world (Wikipedia) to compare us to.

What if artificial DNA is put into a man? That man could then be the Antichrist. What if the synthetic DNA of Wikipedia was put into a machine? Whereas a man could be detected and jailed, a machine that could outwit man and without emotions could not only become superior but maybe indestructible. Furthermore, it could kill with impunity!

The “Serpent” was perhaps an invisible creature — a seraph — but that creature had both the knowledge of good from God and evil against God. He confused all of mankind did he not?

What if that demon comes back, not as a man, but as a machine whose knowledge base is so comprehensive, and its credibility so believed, that it becomes the god?

Like Elon Musk believes, artificial intelligence may be a threat to mankind. Not only that but it could be a competitor to God!

In scripture, the name “Elon” means “judge” (his position as judge comes from the Book of Judges.)

 “Musk” comes from the Sanskrit muska, meaning “scrotum” (Etymology 1995). Names in scripture reveal the purposes of significant people. Elon is a very significant person who knows the world (Tesla) and the cosmos (SpaceX). He also knows the dangers of artificial intelligence because he innovated it. When the author notes the danger of his “Frankenstein Monster” perhaps the monster should be stopped!

Symbolically, Elon Musk has the balls in his scrotum to judge his own inventions, and because he fears what he has created, I fear it too!
