With the apostles, leaving Jesus after He walked on water, He was alone on the other side of the sea near Bethsaida with ordinary people where they all ate bread. The bread fed 5000 as it is written from the original five loaves and two fish.
Jesus multiplied the bread to feed the multitude with twelve loaves remaining
after they no longer hungered.
From where did the additional bread come? Not by magic, but a miracle. It
is not that the bread multiplied on its own, but that something from heaven
increased the amount of bread. That “magic” would have been the good virtue of
God — Elohim.
Rather than calling it a “miracle,” it was the ordinary, even extraordinary,
way God did things. Jesus reminded them of his feeding of the millions from a
time long ago:
31
Our fathers did eat manna in
the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat. 32
Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not
that bread from heaven; but my Father gives you the true bread from heaven. 33
For the bread of God is He which comes down from heaven and gives life unto the
world. 34 Then said they unto him, “Lord, evermore give us this
bread.” (John
6:31-34)
With that said, Moses gave them substance, but Jesus gave them real
sustenance. Bread alone does not give life, but something about Jesus gives
life.
Before the true bread is examined, first look at manna from heaven.
From Exodus chapter 16, manna had certain characteristics:
1.
It was not ordinary bread like they had eaten while in Egypt. (verse 3)
2.
The bread of God rained like water from Heaven. (verse 4)
3.
It provided all the Israelites enough to sustain them, even doubling the
amount of the sixth day to provide enough for the Sabbath day. (verse 5)
4.
It was supplied that they should know that it was from God. (verse 6)
5.
Each morning, they would see the glory of the Lord from where the bread
came. (verse 7)
6.
They would be filled with bread each day. (verse 12)
7.
In the morning dew, the host — the manna — laid on the ground. (verse 13)
8.
When the dew (like the mist of the Garden) that lay was gone up
(disappeared), behold, upon the face of the wilderness there lay a small round
thing, as small as the hoar frost on the ground. (verse 14).
9.
The Israelites didn’t know what it was so they called it “manna” but Moses
called it “bread” which the Lord had given for food. (verse 15)
10. It was just enough to feed
each person. (verse 16)
11. Each gathered only what they
needed to live. (verse 17)
12. There would be none left over.
(verse 19)
13. What some carelessly left
over rotted and attracted worms. (verse 20)
14. What was not gathered simply
evaporated, like water, and returned to heaven from which it came. (verse 21)
15. For the Sabbath day, they
would bake it on the previous day and it would not stink on the Sabbath. It was
incorruptible food. (verses 23 and 24)
16. On the Sabbath, they would
find none in the field. (verse 25)
17. Lastly, those who went to gather
on the Sabbath found none (verse 27). It just disappeared before the sun came
up.
18. It is described as tasting
like wafers made with honey. (verse 31); in Numbers 11:8, it was said to taste
like cakes baked with fresh oil. The taste may have been different for
different people.
19. Moses said unto Aaron, “Take
a pot, and put an omer full of manna therein, and lay it up before the Lord, to
be kept for your generations.” (verse 33). A vessel could contain it for some
unlimited amount of time.
20. The Israelites ate manna from
heaven for forty years until they arrived in the land of milk and honey. (verse
35), then stopped (Josh 5:12)
21. The golden jar of manna was
then placed inside the Ark of the Covenant. (Exodus 16:33-34)
It was called “manna” because the Israelites had never seen it before. It
was not coriander seed but like it. What then was manna? It was in
Hebrew “mawn” (מָן): mem waw nun
sofit.
Mem (מ)
= water, flow, womb, source, emergence from the deep, or another realm.
Waw (ו)
= hook, connection, joining, transmission, continuity.
Nun Sofit (ן) = seed extended to completion, perpetuation, continuance
through generations, mature offspring, enduring life.
With that said, manna meant something: From (waw), emerging from some
source (mem), to sustain life, and lasting for perpetuity (nun sofit).
Mem is most noted for
providing the “living waters” for eternal life (John 7:38). It is not that
manna was liquid at all, but although solid, within it would have been hidden
the Spirit of God.
Jesus said, “I AM the Bread of Life: he that comes to Me shall never
hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst” (John 6:35). Manna
would have been the “bread” which the Israelites ate to sustain them.
Jesus reminded them: “Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are
dead... I am the living bread which came down from heaven” (John 6:49-51).
Implied is that Jesus as the true “Bread” caused life for eternity whereas
manna, albeit even though for perpetuity, the Israelites still died. Manna
therefore was substitutional until the True Bread was delivered by God, “magically”
from the womb of Mary.
The bread in the golden pot was placed in the Ark of the Covenant to
suffice until the True Bread was delivered. Hence, the manna was a token for
the Body of God, much like the bread of the Last Supper.
Have you wondered about the “golden bowl” of Solomon’s sayings? Solomon,
writing about death, said, “Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden
bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken
at the cistern” (Ecc 12:6). Perhaps that “golden bowl” was the golden pot of manna.
If the golden bowl was broken, then the manna would decay. The “silver cord”
is literally a “pale twisted thread”
The golden bowl, or pot, would release the Spirit of God in the preserved
manna, and the Spirit would return to heaven from which it came. That it would
do, according to the Revelation of John.
Manna was glorious because it would never decay; it was everlasting like
the immortal soul of mankind.
Jesus also said, “I AM the living bread which came down from heaven; if any
man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is
my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world” (John 6:51)
The “Bread of Life” is the flesh of Christ Jesus. Before, the bread of life
had been manna, but the last of it was placed into the golden bowl within the
Ark of the Covenant. What happened to the Ark? With the defeat of Judea it
disappeared. Where it is has always been a mystery.
The archeologist Ron Wyatt said he saw it in Jeremiah’s Grotto (aka, “Gordon’s
Calvary”) with the dried blood of Jesus on its seat.
However, John saw it in the apocalypse: “The temple of God was opened in
heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there
were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail”
(Rev 11:19). Perhaps the lightening was the “glistening” from the manna.
What John saw in the Ark of the Covenant is not said, but among them would
be the golden pot since three things were placed into the Ark for posterity.
“Posterity” would be the end of time and the apocalypse, so within the Ark in
heaven sometime in the future after the temple is rebuilt, the golden pot of
manna would last its name.
With that said, manna would be a token for the Body of Christ. When the
Israelites ate manna on the way to death in the wilderness, they would have
been nourished by the elements of the Body of Christ. Each day would have been Holy
Communion (Eucharist) for them. Manna from heaven would have been the blessed
sacrament for they were essentially eating a token of the Body of Christ.
Viewed through the symbolic framework of the Hebrew alphabet, the
relationship is far deeper than simple nourishment:
|
Manna from Heaven |

Descended from heaven once for all |

The manna they ate was the very structure of Jesus as the Bread of Life.
The big difference is that they physically ate manna, but for Jesus as the
Bread of Life, they would have eaten His Spiritual Presence — the Remembrance of
Him, as it is written, “He took bread, and gave thanks, and broke it, and gave
unto them, saying, ‘This is My Body which is given for you; this do in
remembrance of Me” (Luke 22:19). Then those that hungered for Jesus ate the
bread-like wafer. Like the Israelites, Christians symbolically eat Manna from
heaven since the Body of Christ is in heaven.
Within the unleavened bread would be the “remembrance” of Jesus — the Holy
Ghost who remains within true Christians. As such, the communion table is
remembering the Exodus and their escape from Egyptian “Hell” and the Pharaoh —
the “Devil.”
Jesus would have been with the Israelites, not in their stomachs, but within
their souls. Eating would have merely been the process of consuming the Spirit
of God.
Neither is the communion sacrament actually imbuing the Spirit but staying
one with God.
Now consider the concept of “quantum entanglement.”
If two particles are from the same source at the same place, from wherever
it is removed, they remain entangled unless some sort of decoherance, such as
sin, interferes.
If one of those particles might remain here, and the other is moved any
distance, then they remain entangled if there is no decoherence to intrude. If
one particle is in heaven and the other here, then regardless of the distance
and even the time, they can remain entangled.
So once in Christ always in Christ unless iniquity intervenes and the particle
here serves another master (Mat 6:24) and as such, being entangled with two
masters simultaneously is the ultimate decoherence. That is true with both
scripture and science.
Hence, partaking of the elements: bread and wine (the Body and Blood of
Jesus) entanglement would be kept and strengthened just as with the Israelites
who never endured to the end, but were separated from the Promise Land before
arriving in Canaanland.
Taking the elements unworthily would be for wrong reasons. It is to
remember with whom a Christian is entangled; what we call “in Christ.” To stay
in entangled, we must eat the Substance of Christ. It is not bread alone, but
the Spirit, as suggested by Jesus, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by
every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God” (Mat 4:4).
The communion table would be like eating the “Word” (Jesus) Himself. He is
the Bread of Life and Jesus the Word as well.
The word was made flesh (John 1:14), so rather than eating the flesh of Jesus
as our “Bread,” we are to eat the Word of God.
Returning now to manna (mawm):
Mem: Jesus comes from the Father's source (Elohim).
Jesus said, "I proceeded forth and came from God."
He is the originating life, the divine wellspring.
Waw: Jesus becomes the connector. Waw is the number six
in gematria, the number of man, pointing to the Messiah. Jesus would have been
the Supplier of the Bread of Life.
The pictographic waw is literally the hook that joins two things
together such as God ↔ Humanity. Christ functions as the living Waw,
reconciling heaven and earth.
Nun Sofit: Jesus imparts
enduring life; "Whoever eats this bread shall live forever."
What the final Nun symbolizes is perpetual continuation of life that
Christ actually accomplishes.
Therefore, manna as Mem-Waw-Nun Sofit means that Jesus, as the “Bread
of Life,” becomes the Source Himself, becoming the Connection that grants
eternal Continuance. Therein is the connection between manna and the Bread
of Life.
The key ingredient in both is “Elohim” — the flow of living water —
the Spirit (Elohim) of God (El) — into both the manna and the man,
Jesus. Hence, the unleavened bread without yeast to modify it becomes symbolic
of the True Bread of Life and the practice of it as much eating the Word which
has what in it? God Elohim.
One last connection just to clarify: Adam had “dominion” over the other
beasts of the field and even lower states of men — Remes (Gen 1:28;
creeping things). The word “dominion” is also translated as a “crumbling.”
God created all the beasts of the field but more so with Adam, God put
Himself into Adam. Himself was the Image (Hebrew; Elohim.) Elohim essentially
implies living water from the belly of God. Adam would have drunk from the
fountain of God, translated as a mere “mist” (Gen 2:6).
Now for an analogy: If God is represented as a huge cookie, or even a large
loaf of bread, then Adam would have crumbled from the cookie/bread. If the
bread was yeast, that would represent the Spirit of God.
That particle of bread that crumbled would have given Adam eternal life
like the manna from heaven was meant to do, for in the Garden, there should have
been no decoherence.
The God-Cookie, or Bread, if you like bread better, always existed, but
then the Cookie crumbled.
Adam would have been the first to crumble from the God-Cookie. The others
were just made by the Great Baker to look like man in some manner but without
the essential ingredient — Elohim.
The crumble from Elohim would have been one Eloha for man and one Eloha
for the woman, and because they were both crumbled from God, then they would
have been entangled as one (Gen 2:21) of the same structure, not just a “rib.”
Think now about entanglement: If one changes even later in time, the other
changes as well because they are one flesh. When the woman sinned, sin was
accounted to the man as well, two wit: Paul wrote, "Therefore, just as sin
entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death
came to all people, because all sinned" (Rom 5:12).
If the woman had not sinned, then the man would have not known sin and
would have continued in God’s Elohim. Adam and Isha (the woman) are
a classic case of quantum entanglement from which they fell due to the flesh of
some Beast whom she sought to bond with.
Only Adam’s kind were parts of the Cookie/Bread. The others resembled
the cookie/bread but had not yeast, or Spirit; the critical divine Substance was
missing.
Perhaps, Lucifer got into the man-like Beast to share a part of the crumbs
from the Cookie. Isaiah implied that: “I (Lucifer) will ascend above the
heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High” (Isa 14:14). Not satisfied
with his low state, with no estate, Lucifer got into the Beast to be sort of
like the Bread-Man from above.
Lastly, consider the “herbs” that Adam’s kind allegedly ate: “Behold, I
have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the Earth,
and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it
shall be for meat” (Gen 1:29). While the beasts of the field ate greenery, Adam’s
kind ate so-called “herbs.” That is the English translation. The exact
translation from which “herb” was extrapolated is “glisten”
The only food that I could find in scripture that glistening might apply is
manna which was like hoar frost on the ground. With that said, if so, then the
food in the Garden would need no digestion, and hence, there would have been no
need for a digestive system, which by the way, also includes the pudenda… no
need for aprons in the Garden before sin!
Adam and Isha would
have multiplied by Spirit from the Bread of Life, not by sexual reproduction;
the latter came from the biology of some beast.
God is the special Ingredient in the Bread of Life and “bread” would be the
euphemism for the Body of Christ, according to Holy Communion.
Holy communion to remain entangled
with God by remembering His Body by the Spirit in the Bread of His Body.
The last premise needs testing; what is “herb” in the original Hebrew? Ehseb
(עֵשֶׂב)… from the pictographs, that which is
received, consumed, and becomes life within the house.
What was received in the Garden was the Light of God. The man and the woman
received the Light of God. It would be their “food” because God emanated it and
they imbued it. The outcome was life within their “house” or glorious bodies.
They were not consuming normal food, not even meat or bread; the Majestic Cookie
was shedding Light on the two and they were nourished.
The beasts may have eaten green herbs, but mankind needed not eat because
they were glorious since God was in their incorruptible flesh.
Their food compares well to plant food like the animals would eat; they ate
green herbs, meaning that the things that glistened which passed on life by
photosynthesis; hence they physically ate light, but mankind “ate” nothing but
Spirit in a sense.
The two were surely nourished by God in the manner of the “magic” in the
loaves of bread from earlier. It is not that glorious man lived by
photosynthesis like the plants, but that the Light of God was the Spirit of God
— Elohim — that kept them going. That Adam’s Image was “Elohim”— living
water, rather than Eloha, one particle, reveals that God nourished him
all the time, not just one time.
What changed? They “ate” deception from the spirit of Satan and were lost
to the world (Gen 3:24). Jesus returned to feed the elect — Adam’s kind — with
glorious food again… the Spirit of God in the Body of Christ. Hence, communion
is to be continual, not just a one-time event in the same manner as the manna
was to last forever.
Jesus would be like manna but flesh rather than gloriousness, until He was
glorified at death. The Yeast (the Holy Spirit) separated from the Bread and even
with that the “Bread” of Jesus never decayed, nor stunk like uneaten manna.
