SPIRITUAL "DEEP STATE" - GREAT ONES

THE GREAT ONES

The scribes and Pharisees, the legalists, usually made great displays of their benevolence and piety. Jesus called them out:
3 All therefore whatsoever they bid (the scribes and Pharisees) you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not. 4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. 5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men… 6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues, 7 And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi. (Mat 23:3-7)
There are likely two reasons why the “lawyers” and “religionists” would make a public display of their morality: (1) To make themselves seem what they were not, and (2) to gain admiration for power. Jesus called them “hypocrites.” Why was that?  “Ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.” (Mat 23:23). What had Jesus recently corrected them on? That they had followed the Law to a tittle but had missed the weightier matters of the Law. They did the Law to near perfection but had missed the point of having the Law. They kept the metrics of the Ten Commandments but for wrong reasons. The Commandments were the metrics for love — the first four were ways to demonstrate love for God and the last four love for others.
Because the scribes and Pharisees obeyed the Law so well, they monitored everyone to ensure that they did as well. They wanted the multitudes to be like them; not in the spirit but in the flesh. God made mankind with a free will; to do or not to do righteousness. The scribes and Pharisees put them in bondage to their notion of the intent of the Law. Rather than loving, judging fairly, mercy, and faith; they focused on what they did. They tithed! That’s all. They paid God what they owed Him by giving material things, but neglected love and justice and the like. They were unloving, judgmental, unmerciful, and trusted themselves more than God. Those are the characteristics of the Deep State to this day!
Those who propagate social justice are the modern-day scribes and Pharisees. They do things for others but for wrong reasons. [1] “Liberalism” can be defined simply as having values above and beyond those that are not legislated or commanded. Jesus was a liberal in the sense that he came to fulfill the Law. The Jews had done a great thing keeping the Law, but a poor job of loving God and others. Jesus politely told them that love is on what hangs all the Law and prophesies (Mat 22:4). Doing and not doing God’s precepts are commanded, but “liberalism” is doing the precepts because the person has a disposition to do so even if there were no commands.
Liberalism is a good thing gone bad. During the Enlightenment, philosophers wanted to do good things. That is admirable, but they made a display for their social justice; sort of look what I am doing, and you should be doing the same. From that vain philosophy came socialism which is that you must do what I demand of you because I think it is justice. Socialism robbed people of love, kindness, and charity. Rather than doing things out of love for God and others, now it is to follow the law. Socialism is legalism and religiosity, but it is Karl Marx’s Law, and secular humanism is the religion. The latter is doing good things for others for self-actualization, but in Christianity, charity is to actualize or to glorify God.
In the Bible, there is the story of the rich young man:
16And, behold, one (a rich man) came and said unto him, “Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?” 17  And He said unto him, “Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.” 18 He saith unto Him, “Which?” Jesus said, “Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, 19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” 20 The young man saith unto him, “All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?” 21 Jesus said unto him, “If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.” (Mat 19:16-21)
That rich man was a well-intentioned and moral person. He did all the last six commandments. They were all summarized succinctly by Jesus, “Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” The man was a philanthropist. He did things for his fellow man, and did a good job of it, but only God is good. His philanthropy was as “filthy rags” to Jesus (Isa 64:6). The man may have even loved his fellow men, but that is not enough! All those things the man had done since he was young. Notice, that the man asked what shall “I do” and look at what “I have done.” What was he missing that he had not done? The Greatest Commandment. He made no mention that he had loved God, let alone with all his heart, mind, soul, and strength.
Secular humanism is doing good things without magnifying God. Philanthropists are charitable to demonstrate to others that they are philanthropic by promoting the welfare of others by doing good things for them. Christianity is much the same but out of love for God. That is what humanity always misunderstands! Philanthropy is good in the eyes of the world, but to God it is as filthy rags unless it is to glorify God. Social justice is secular humanism — doing humane things; not charitable things out of love that God created others and they are His children.
With that said, socialism would be good if it were not for two things: (1) God is eliminated from their philanthropy, and (2) socialism dictates loving-kindness, and if it is dictated, it is not charity but taxation. Caesar’s money goes for his citizens, standing armies, buildings, and him. God’s money goes to God and charity. Thus, taxation is not benevolence; it is forcing others to be charitable on your behalf. Socialism is for the “common good” and Christianity for the glory of God. In fact, socialism diminishes God in all respects and glorifies Marx, the government, and the capitalists. By redistributing property and wealth from those capable and giving to those who covet and demand, that is as filthy rags. The slogan “to those in need” is a sham. It is to those who want and demand. Christianity has provisions for the truly needy, and that is charity.
The spiritual “Deep State” were the hypocritical scribes and Pharisees. They demanded that others be as they appeared to be. Inside they were vipers. Their intent was for respect and power. That’s what hypocrites always do, and socialism is crass hypocrisy! It is legislators, businesses, educators, entertainers, and the media saying, Look at us; look how good we are! Just as the rich man turned away from Jesus humbled, in the end, Jesus will humble the Deep State “vipers” with, “I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” (Mat 7:23). Those who do good things without God are still iniquitous in that good works do not impress God if not done for Him. Humanism is not good because it diminishes God. Christianity is the practice of exalting God and diminishing oneself. Giving without loving the Creator of the gifts is robbing the Greatest Capitalist.
“Capital” is “a stock of accumulated goods” (Merriam-Webster 2003). All “goods” are from God. That contrasts with “income received.” All people use what God made, and it was all “good” (Gen 1). Users of God’s goods are capitalists. Socialism uses God’s goods for their purposes. God desires that all goods be used for His purpose, and that is appreciating His love and having the desire to share it with others.
Socialism is the spiritual Deep State for it robs God of His glory and gives it to men and government. Why would socialism want God dead? So that the masses of people depend on the government and its bureaucracy for the capital that God made so good in the beginning.
Jesus said it well, “They say, and do not, for they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders” from Matthew 23 above.  Scribes and Pharisees spoke much but did little. Is that not what socialism espouses with their motto? Is it not say much and do little? Examine the mobs in the street. They are all mouth and arson. What they do is non-productive and is destructive. The Deep State always tears down. The history of Europe time and again is the same cycle; one of productivity by the capitalists followed each time by destruction from the socialists.
Those who want to know what socialist America looks like need look no further than Minneapolis, Seattle, and Atlanta. Mad Dog Mattis is not the mad dog, but the mobs ruling the streets are. Sane people are constructive; insane people are destructive. Those on the streets tearing down the past are not insane; they are spiritually defiled. It is not God in them, but demons if anything!
Satan does not make them do it. Satan is too busy defiling the pope and other spiritual leaders. Even demons may find it unnecessary to inhabit those foolish people. Why? Because their will corresponds and is in harmony with Satan’s desires. Satan is the Destroyer; God is the Creator. Those who follow the auspices of the Devil are his children, and do not belong to God. God’s children serve and preserve (Gen 2:15). Satan’s children are God’s adversaries and tear down the institutions which God built.
People do not like the idea that there is oppression. Few do but the oppressors. Have you ever asked yourself why there is oppression and tribulation? It is because of sin. As mentioned in a previous chapter a non-accommodating world is because of sin (Gen 3:17-19). People are oppressed because rather than toil oneself it is easier to enslave others to toil on their behalf. Oppression came with the virus of sin, and since the beginning people of all races have been oppressed. No race has ever been more oppressed than God’s chosen people, the Jews, but do you ever see them tearing down civilizations? It is always pagan nations that tear down Jewish people. The holocaust did not begin in the Third Reich, it had always existed.
Jews in foreign lands has always been the “serious crises” that socialism has used for its purpose. It is obvious that Jews were inconvenient for the Germans because it was the Jews who were supreme to them. Lesser people always tear down those who are more supreme. It is not the southern “good ole boys” who are the white supremacists but the left-wing degenerates who are. It is denigrating for the Democratic-Socialists to use those who they see as “lesser” for their advancement.
Jews were oppressed because they can often be separated from the others by their appearance. Even when they look like Caucasians, socialist eugenicists discovered how to measure their features to divide them into a lower class of people. The German socialists considered God’s chosen and peculiar people (Deut 14:2) as sub-human parasites not worthy of life. They could be identified by their peculiarities.
The same technique, during the end-of-time government — the Great Tribulation — will identify peculiar and chosen Christians (1 Pet 2:9) as “royal priests” and they will be beheaded if they refuse the mark of the Beast. Socialism is anti-clerical, and they always reveal themselves to be against God. Seldom are they against Allah, Buddha, or even paganism is general, but they always seek to minimize and destroy the God whose personal Name is Jesus. Socialists, all the while they are professing the “common good,” it is not for the commoners nor the oppressed, it is for the common good for those first to fall for the Big Lie of the ideological “Ponzi Scheme.”
Look at the socialist “Big Lie:” What belongs to others shall be yours for free. Then look what must be given up for free things: your liberty, your God, your conscience, your family, your marriage, your children’s education, and your eternal soul! What more could they ask for that you have a minimum wage? What more could you give them for a few plats of land? The Big Lie is the absurdity that things are free. God worked to Create all that is good, and humans contributed nothing to that. Redistributing what God divvyed out is contrary to God. He never blessed the arrogant, but always the meek. Meek people do not create havoc, and what they obtain by mob rule will justifiably be taken away.
Socialist violence always fails. Even if some gain is made, they become so arrogant, boisterous, and greedy and soon their Norsemen tactics become reprehensible to sensible people. The ultimate outcome is that civilized people will come to the point that they destroy socialism. Just examine history.
Satan is the “Chairman” of the Deep State Party. Satan was hung an effigy in Judas Iscariot. He loses in the end. Whereas those engaged in sin are in chains to the Devil, in the end, Satan will be chained and thrown into the bottomless pit. He will be imprisoned during Jesus’s one-thousand-year reign, and then he shall be destroyed. Choose sides wisely because he will not be alone! The Deep State will be destroyed by God.
The arrogant scribes and Pharisees enjoy, “to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi” or in English, “Great one, Great one.” Those who follow their works are their “trophies”. The more followers, the more power, and the greater the number of “trophies.” Blacks and other minorities are Democrat “trophies” that they shine and display on their prominent mantles. “Black lives matter” is their bragging rights even though Democrats have shown historically that NO LIVES MATTER!
Why would scribes and Pharisees display their generosity and such when it was not theirs to give but the synagogues? So they could be the “Great Ones” who have prestige and power. Why would Democrat politicians who have historically showed their disdain for indigenous people suddenly be so consumed with those whom they had oppressed before? Is it guilt, as some suggest, or is it to be “Great Ones.” Is the “common good” intended for the common people or for power. One only needs to examine history and see that peasants are the most oppressed under socialism; the very people who thought they would be free from tyrants.
Socialism is as terroristic as all the “Caesars:” the tsars, the czars, the kaisars, and all the other “Great Ones.” All those who oppress the weak consider themselves the fittest and the most deserving to live and have the good life. It is not the “common good” at all but Caesar’s good! Where do socialist bureaucrats live in countries which they destroy? They live in the grandest of homes and have the most prestigious positions. Socialism makes the oppressors the “Great Ones;” the ones Jesus said liked to be called “Rabbi, Rabbi.”

[1] Recently I wrote a commentary about a tenderhearted young girl who adopted abused children of color. That was a noble deed and a great show of love, but was it from the heart or for show? Perhaps both, but her continual display of her kind act points toward her children as trophies to be displayed for all to see. Charity, the Bible teaches, should not be put on display. True charity is doing things as secretive and modestly as possible, so the emphasis is off oneself so that God is the one glorified. That kindness was social justice, but only she knows if it was spiritual charity.
