Not clear about my motivation for writing this morning, God surprise me with insight. I was astounded at the hidden knowledge which was revealed to me, and it might astound you as well!
KEY VERSES: And the
Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men built. And
the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and
this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they
have imagined to do. (Gen
11:5-6)
The Lord came “down,” it says, to see things on the Earth, specifically on
the plain of Shinar where a city and a tower were being built.
In the Hebrew “down” is “yarad; יָרַד:
yod-resh-dalet — Yahweh
(Yod) emerged (resh) into spacetime and matter (dalet). God
had not been up at all but existed in a higher state of Existence, but King
Nimrod (“king” from the Book of Jasher), built a tower whose “top” would
reach the heavens.
They imagined that they could find the abode of God by the works of their own
hands. It would by themselves that they would go to heaven where God could be
found.
This is a classic case of works verses faith; rather than
rely on God to change their states, they would overcome the firmament
themselves.
God
made the firmament and divided the waters which were under the firmament from
the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so, and God called the
firmament “Heaven.” (Gen
1:7-8)
In simple terms “firmament” (raqia; רָקִיעַ)
equals “heaven” (shamayim; שָׁמַיִם).
As is explained further, the firmament would be the boundary between earth
and heaven (Gen 1:7) — between the material world and the spiritual world. Perhaps
the firmament is a wall, or membrane, between the two realms wherein Jesus is
the Way, Door, or Portal from one realm to another.
In that case, God coming “down” would not be geocentrically downward, but
to a lower state.
In heaven God is Spirit, so God would have simply crossed the firmament via the
Door (Jesus). God would have merely suddenly appeared to the people of Shinar
as a man.
Jesus would later explain that when God came “down” and revealed Himself as
a man:
The
Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a Voice came
from Heaven, which said, ‘You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased” (Luke 3:22)
Just as the Holy Ghost descended (Greek; katabaino) after Jesus was
baptized, God, as the Holy Ghost, did so long ago on the plain of Shinar.
“Kata” denotes movement or diffusion
from a higher to a lower level. Baino means “basis.” At the baptism of
Jesus, God had not come down from heaven but just appeared from His
basic state as the “Father” and the source of the Holy Ghost.
We must fight our inclinations; lofty things in theology are not necessarily
from above but beyond this world, our own basis for existence. Heaven
is not up nor Hell down; Heaven would be a higher state of existence and Hell,
the lowest state of existence.
In both cases: on both the plain of Shinar and on the waters of the Jordan,
God appeared to onlookers as a man. It was not that God changed states but always
existed in three states in “homeostasis” as katabaino suggests. Jesus
was God “made manifest” (John 1:31) on both the plane of Shinar and in the
Jordan River on the plain of the Jordan.
God would not need to appear on a mountain in either situation because He
does not come down from on high, but a higher state of existence — a higher
level of consciousness.
In both cases, God was always fully God and man, but in both cases, the
onlookers were revealed that God was both Man and Holy Spirit.
Just as God hid Himself from the eyes of Adam, He later revealed Himself to
the people of Shinar and as well as to the Jews on the plain of the Jordan.
Being made manifest is not a biological action but a change of state;
just as water vapor reveals itself as ice under certain conditions, and of
course, God is not temperature dependent but reveals Himself to those who need
Him.
The firmament (raqia; רָקִיעַ)
could be considered much like a membrane, and with that, the Spirit of God diffused
(katabaino) through it makes sense, using the literal meanings of the
pictographs from a scientific lens:
·
Resh: emergence of order
(through the “door” or diffused)
·
Qof: a hidden dimension (from
the realm of Heaven)
·
Ayin: into observation (into
the world of seen things)
The “firmament” would not be material but a “boundary” that can only be
crossed by the Power of Jesus, just as the Way was after sin when God “drove
out the man; and He placed at the east of the Garden of Eden Cherubim, and a
flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the Way of the Tree of Life” (Gen
3:24).
Jesus was and is the Way — the continuation of life — and the “Tree.” It
seems that the “substance” of the firmament might be the “flaming sword;” so let’s
check that for veracity:
lahaṭ (לַ֫הַט)
cherub (הַחֶרֶב) wherein the first
letter hey before cherub is a silent breath representing expansion.
Lahat (לַ֫הַט)
Lamed: instruction
Hey: expansion (as with fire)
Tet: energy potential (the
Power of God, Elohim)
Note that Lahat compares well with the Holy Ghost that appeared at
Pentecost:
Suddenly
there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind (hey), and it filled (expansion) all the house (Bet) where they were sitting, and there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of
fire (the hey made manifest), and it sat upon each of them
(with Power Tet). (Acts 2:2-3)
The Acts of God therein is the Way to the eternal Tree of Life. The “expansion”
corresponds very well with the “diffusion” of katabaino.
Cherub (הַחֶרֶב)
The first hey is silent and is the Breath of God for all things are
God-breathed and the Way is breathed by God.
Chet: boundary
Resh: emergence
Bet: From spacetime and
matter into the House of God (Paradise in incorruptible flesh)
The “flaming sword” to cross over the Way back to the Garden of the Lord would
be lahat — with the Powerful Word of God and cherub — the
crossing over from the material world to the spiritual world. Cherub
would be the process and cherubim the flow of Power to pass from one state of
existence to another.
As much trouble as it is to analyze the pictographs, you may now see that
it explains in great detail how the world (the science) is overcome by God.
Those 3000 who received the Power of God during Pentecost found the way,
unlike Nimrod with his “rocket” but by the cherubim that appeared as flaming
swords at Pentecost.
That they spoke in common tongues was evidence of the Power, and not the
Power itself. It was not by their works but faith in the Power of God.
On the other hand, Nimrod depended on his own power and his own devices to
find God. The Way is not just escaping this world like astronauts but
overcoming the world from a lower to a higher state of existence through Almighty
God!
