Obama Press Secretary Josh Earnest justifies transferring illegal aliens to locations around the country without prior notification because “the children's privacy has to be protected under the law.”
The first question is, when did the Obama Administration become constrained by law. When the law doesn’t fit his goals, he simply ignores it.
Secondly, what is the truthful answer to that question? He wants to avoid any state or local officials having a chance to publicly call him out on the policy and to avert local adverse reaction when the immigrants arrive at their destination.
Obama doesn't give a whit for the privacy of your tax record which his IRS agents illegally share with other federal agencies. He abhors and ignores the privacy your political organization has regarding your donors.
The privacy of your individual medical records is mandated by law, however, he has seen that all those records have to be stored digitally, privacy of which Edward Snowden will tell you is impossible.
Why the difference? Your rights tend to be obstacles to his progressive ideology where the state has a right to everything. The rights of illegal immigrant children, however, fit his open borders policy perfectly. It is social gerrymandering.
Once again, Obama’s actions aren't for the benefit of US citizens whom he confronts more often than not. Promoting his own unconstitutional agenda trumps us every time!
