Unprincipled

"Principles" are devotion to fundamental beliefs. The fundamental belief of the world is summed up by the Thelemist Aleister Crowley,  "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law. Love is the law, love under will." Crowley is speaking of worldly love which excludes any divine being. Thelema means "to will," thus its principle, "Do what thou wilt."
The human will is the faculty which examines choices and makes selections. Thelema is the exclusive freedom to make choices without the influence of anyone, especially God. Ultimately every sinner belongs to the anti-religion of Thelema. For Christians, Thelema is anti-Christianity and Crowley an antichrist.
Judeo-Christianity, unlike Thelema, has rules of moral conduct. The standard for moral conduct is love. As you can see from their statement of principle, Thelema espouses love as well, but love as you will. Their will is not to love God, and thus deny His authority. That's just what Adam did! Love for God is demonstrated by willingness to obey His will without coercion. God commands love, though (John 14:15). That seems to be coercion. If love was merely because it is commanded, it would not be love. Rather than obedience to a command, love is an outcome of appreciation. A better translation from the Greek is, "If you love me, keep my precepts." Precepts are principles, and are God's will, not his dictatorial demands! (Languages are often inexact, and context is important.)
Abraham was a man of principle. God didn't command Abraham; He tested (Gen 22:1). The challenge was for Abraham to sacrifice Isaac on the altar. After the test of Abraham, God provided the sacrifice. God was testing Abraham's willingness to please Him. If Abraham had only followed a demand, it would not have been a demonstration  of love. Surely, if God had demanded that, Abraham would have hated Him for it! God was testing the principles of Abraham. God's "Precept" "the Greatest Commandment" - to love Him and your fellow men (Mat 22:36-40). Those who are principled will willingly do God's will, and that is to love Him and others. Thus, Christianity is all about "will" just as Thelema.
Thelema is exercising one's own will, and Judeo-Christianity doing God's will. We are asked to pray for God's will, "Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven" (Mat 6:10).The request is for God's children to be as their Father; to submit their will to the Father's will. It is not demanded, but requested. To pray that without sincerity is lying to yourself and to God.
The Law of God ends up being the "Principles of God" because love cannot be dictated. The "law of sin" is rejection of the will of God, and doing what thou wilt. Scripture refers to that: "In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes." Ultimately, the "no king" referred to "no God" because kings reign as God allows them that honor.
Doing our own will in resistance to God's will is sin. By birth, our will and Satan's will is inherent. Regeneration, or the enlightenment of being born again, is rejecting our will for God's. It is diminishing one's own will and elevating God's will. As Satan is a mere prince of the air, and God King of the Universe, it is wise to do the will of God rather than be treasonous with the Pretender for God's throne.
Life is a battle of the wills. People think that their will is superior to God's. That is foolish. Our will has a penalty, and God's will a reward. Neither punishment or reward will ever be revoked. Our destiny depends on our will. We must choose which of the only two "masters" to serve (Mat 6:24). Most people will choose the deceptive Serpent, but few the loving Lamb. It is a battle of the wills; Paul said it well, "The Spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak" (Mat 26:41).
By grace, the Spirit endeavors to change our human wills, but Satan uses the flesh to foil the will. As Abraham could have done, given the choice, many Christian people desire to please God, but submit to their own fleshly desires. That choice is fornication against God. He doesn't care about the mechanical act of coitus, but does care about what one wills. He looks for a desire to do his precepts, not what we do physically. Christians often make wrong choices, and while they displease God, He still remains true with his love! Abraham could have refused to even consider serving up his own flesh, but he willingly committed to that!
The two religions of the world condense to Christianity and Thelema. By rejecting Jesus, by default, people accept the unknown god of Thelema. I submit to you, that your own flesh are the gods and goddesses of Thelema, and Satan is satisfied  with that; if he can't be God, then his secondary desire is that people reject the True God.
Thelemians become mobs to show that their gods are stronger than God. When cursing, rebellious people take to the streets, they are doing what they wilt. They demand the precepts of Thelema - each and every person to do what they wilt. We often hear of the woman's right to choose; well, that is from the precepts of Thelema. The liberty to do as one pleases is because of Libertas who stands in New York Harbor. She is the idol of Thelemists. (Of course, I appreciate freedom but not because of the precepts of Liberty, but God.)
Christians must admit, the mob is principled. They will fight for Liberty's precepts. On the other hand, they are deceived, Liberty might stand for freedom to them, but by its givers, the Republic of France was the most autocratic and controlling government until Socialism replaced it. Their type of Thelemic "love" was to guillotine those who even  mildly disagree with their concept of freedom.
In the U.S., the mob takes to the streets in support of evil precepts. They are zealots for their principles. On the other hand, Christians won't even change the TV channel for the precepts of God, let alone, except in rare instances, take to the streets for God's precepts. Those with no god other than themselves boycott states for their restrictive abortion laws and tolerance of deviations. Christians seldom take to the streets to support life or holy matrimony. The precepts of God are the foundation of the United States and Thelema is continually eroding the ground from beneath us without even realizing that they are doing Lucifer's and Crowley's will!
Jesus was murdered by the mob. Each and every one thought they were doing God's will, but they were deceived. They were doing Satan's will, thinking they were doing a good thing. Mobs always do that, but Jesus said before he was murdered by the mob, "Forgive them, Father; they know not what they do" (Luke 23:34). Mobs are always deceived. For instance, the zealot for God, Saul, killed in the name of God. It took being struck blind to see what he was doing. God turned the zealot Saul into the zealot Paul.
Sinners are zealots for Satan, thinking they are zealots for their own will, to do as they please. Abortion, for instance, is so women and men can do as they please without consequences. They take to the voting places and streets to intimidate people so they can do as they sexually please under the banner of "sexual freedom.". Their gods and goddesses are themselves and their flesh must be appeased by pleasure. They are principled enough to fight for their will be done. They are the feminist armies of Satan.
On the other hand, Christians just sing louder in Church. We think we are doing God's will by merely singing songs and shaking hands. Many do that although love is not in their hearts. As with Paul, God wants zealots for His precepts. I write on that each day in my blog and link it to Facebook. Often, even my Christian "friends" unfriend me because I write the truth. Principled Christians will keep the precepts of God!
Other Christians won't read my commentaries. I suppose it is out of fear that it will reveal that they are unprincipled Christians; that they are those who take God's will lightly. For instance, Christians sit in theaters and enjoy clearly sinful movies because they are entertaining. How bad will it have to get before they can't stand the sin anymore. Apparently, there are no limits to the amount of sin that Christians will endure for pleasure. God has limits. Someday that which Christians enjoy so much will be cast into Hell.
I don't consume alcoholic beverages. I have the Christian liberty to do so, but divine liberty is a test. Just as Abraham's will was tested, ours is as well. I can freely consume alcohol, but will that please God? For me, the answer is no. He allows me the freedom to do my will, but His desire is that I do His. It would have been more clear, if he had commanded, "Thou shalt not consume alcohol." Between the lines, God said, "I prefer you not," then allowed us the freedom to do His will or not.
If the government demanded that I drink alcohol, zealot Herrin would take to the streets because I will not to drink engine fuel. I have taken to the streets in a civil manner to preserve life. I am a pro-life zealot. He doesn't demand that I support life, but life is holy according to God's precepts. I should be so firm in God's precepts that I want to protect life, and for that reason, I have taken to the streets out of principle. Many times there are just a few because most Christians are unprincipled. God's "purpose", to them, is only to save them without regard for the rest of the world who according to God's precepts, we are to love.
Because Christians, as a whole, are unprincipled, they stand and sit idly by while sinners are walking the path to Hell. That doesn't bother many Christians because it is not them! Because we are to love others as ourselves, we should care that the world is taking the wrong path; the one to damnation for eternity. Many Christians either don't care about that or just sing a little louder because they prefer not to think about it. Few are principled enough to care although Jesus said, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations" (Mat 28:19). Many Christians won't even venture out of their pews to be friendly let alone go unto the nations so as they be saved from Hell.
Christians don't have the principles that even evil people have. We are a pitiful lot; even church is more about us than God. Jesus weeps for us.
