If God is Not a Liar, Then Why?

Why?

So many people pick and choose what they believe in scripture. In this age of enlightenment so do churches! What's more, people go to church which feed the lie! It's a shame, but many, if not most, denominations have little regard for the sacred word. It seems that they know better than God.

2 Corinthians 11:13 (ESV) "For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds."

Here we have it! So called preachers are false apostles, although they look the part and act the part of "reverend", they teach the doctrine of Satan. Satan is the liar:

 John 8:44 (ESV) "You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies."

Although Satan is the liar, the modern church acts as if it's God who's the liar! They're no different than the Jews:

John 8:39 "They (the Jews) answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham. 40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham."

The Jews, the established church, although they claimed to worship God, denied his truth. In effect, the church at that time failed to believe God's word. God, in their eyes, was a liar. The modern church is the same.  Although they have a Book of Truth, what's contained therein are lies in their eyes.

Let's take a look at modern churches today. (Remember that at one time these same churches were hotbeds of truth. They're now a den of lies).

Statements on homosexuality (Wikipedia):

•  Anglican: "same-sex partnerships are acceptable for laypersons but gay clergy are expected to be abstinent."
• American Baptists: "The Association of Welcoming and Affirming Baptists, a group of some 50 churches and organizations, is committed to the "full inclusion" of gay and lesbian persons in their churches."
• Mormons: "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) makes clear a person experiencing feelings of same-sex attraction (their preferred term for homosexuality) is not sinful and no one should be blamed for it, and that LGBT members can have a good standing in the church."
• Evagelical Lutheran Church of America: " ELCA Lutheran policy states that LGBT individuals are welcome and encouraged to become members and participate in the life of the congregation."
• Mennonite: "The Church of the Brethren, Mennonite Church USA, and Mennonite Church Canada denominations work with the Supportive Communities Network to support the small proportion of congregations that include openly gay members."
• United Methodist: "Failed efforts have been made to pass resolutions to 'fully include gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender persons in the life of the Church'  at General Conferences since the introduction of the incompatibility clause in 1972; delegates from annual conferences in the Northeast and on the West Coast typically vote to do so, but are outnumbered by those from Southeast."
• Presbyterianism: "On June 19, 2014, the Presbyterian Church (USA), the largest U.S. Presbyterian body, voted to change its definition of marriage and allow its pastors to officiate same-sex ceremonies in states where gay marriage is legal. By a vote of 429-175, leaders of the 1.76 million-member Church voted during the biennial General Assembly in Detroit to change the denomination's Book of Order to describe marriage as being between "two people". It approved the ordination of non-celibate gays on July 8, 2010, when, by a vote of 373 to 323, the General Assembly voted to propose to the presbyteries a constitutional amendment to remove the restriction against the ordination of partnered homosexuals. "
• Quakers: "In the United States of America, the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) is deeply divided on the issue. The more conservative Friends United Meeting and Friends Evangelical Church considers homosexuality sinful; but other Friends, such as those in the Friends General Conference, strongly support equal ecclesiastical rights for gay and lesbian persons."
• Roman Catholic: ""The number of men and women who have deep-seated homosexual tendencies is not negligible. This inclination, which is objectively disordered, constitutes for most of them a trial. They must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided. These persons are called to fulfill God's will in their lives and, if they are Christians, to unite to the sacrifice of the Lord's Cross the difficulties they may encounter from their condition."
• United Church of Christ: " In July 2005, the 25th General Synod encouraged congregations to affirm "equal marriage rights for all", and to consider "wedding policies that do not discriminate based on the gender of the couple." 
• Episcopalian: "Yes (All dioceses ordain candidates regardless of orientation. A minority of bishops require celibacy; others have shown an expectation that homosexual clergy should take advantage of what legal and ecclesiastical recognition is available for their unions)
• Most Other Mainstream Denominations accept the biblical concept that homosexuality is a sin and do not ordain homosexuals.

These rebellious churches represent millions of members and even some members in biblical churches ignore the church's teachings and are deceived by The Liar as well. Here's what Holy Scripture says about homosexuality:

Leviticus 20:13 "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them."

We no longer have the economy of the early Jewish people so people are not put to death for being sinful. Likewise, with the economy of grace since Jesus' death, sinners no longer pay the ultimate fleshly price. However, scripture is clear that homosexuality is an "abomination". That's terminology for "disgusting behavior".

Of course some would say that the New Testament doesn't condemn homosexuality. That too is a lie!

1 Timothy 1:10 (ESV) "The sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine..."

Here we see that homosexuality is "contrary to sound doctrine". Doctrine is that which the Bible refers to as the entire body of essential theological truths which make up the teachings of God, Christ, the patriarchs and the apostles. New Testament doctrine is the truth taught about Christ. Christian doctrine as taught in scipture is "sound" in that it's all "truth" and inspired by God. Since, God declares homosexuality  "disgusting" in his eyes and Paul, inspired by Jesus, concurs, then if a church or it's congregation disbelieves God's Word, then they are saying "God is a liar!".

It all goes back to the same sin of our forebears; original sin:

Genesis 3:4-5 (ESV) "But the serpent said to the woman, 'You will not surely die. For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.'”

Here we have Eve listening to the serpent who represents Satan. She believed the lie instead of God's truth. Why? She "will be like God, knowing good and evil". There's one big problem! Satan said that. They do not "know" good and evil, but just think they do because of their rebellion and pride.

Modern churches don't "know" good and evil. "Good" and "evil" should not be subject to opinion or a vote! Only God knows and a few of those who obey what he tells them in scripture. Since modern churches disobey God, they stand in place of him and deserve the same destruction suffered by Adam and Eve. They not only are dying, but will be on the side of the Antichrist when he proclaims himself God. They have to because they, as will the Antichrist, will call God a liar!

2 Timothy 3:1-5 (ESV) "But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power..."

It appears that those so-called "Christians" of the last days will have the same rebellion as did Adam and Eve who sold their souls (eternal death) for wealth, knowledge and pleasure!  In the Revelation of John that church is called "The Great Whore":

Revelation 19:1 "And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God: 2 For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand."

This refers to the modern church. Remembering that Christ is the bridegroom and his church the bride, we see that the end-of-time church "did corrupt the earth with her fornication". Those modern churches who fail to have and practice sound doctrine go "whoring after Satan" with whom they fornicate! God will judge those churches and it won't be pleasant! They will burn in the Lake of Fire just as will those who deny Jesus for they in effect have.

This example used the notion of acceptance of homosexuality since it's in vogue more now than ever, fulfilling that in the last days homosexuality will be more rampant than anytime before! However, there is much more to which modern churches go a whoring:

• Scripture is not divinely inspired
• Jesus didn't really die or wasn't resurrected
• Sin is relative or changes for the times
• God isn't so "cruel" as to punish so harshly
• We can be "good" to earn heaven
• Social justice takes precedence to salvation
• A personal born-again-experience isn't necessary
• Those living sinful lives can lead the church
• Sin and it's penalties are not taught
• We're not to rebuke sin
• Abortion is a viable option
• The sanctity of life is not respected
• Divorce is counseled as a viable alternative
• Fornication is tolerated in members.
• "Living together" is condoned
• Members and leaders can engage in any type of worldly entertainment
• Unholy entertainment is brought into the church
• Other gospels such as psychology are taught in church
• Evolution is taught instead of creation (science more reliable than God)
• And on and on!

If your church doesn't teach sound doctrine, they are implying that God is a liar! They agree with Satan who told Adam and Eve that God lied to them!  To the modernistic type church of Laodicea it says:

Revelation 3:16  "So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth."

"Lukewarm" means that a "partial gospel" is taught and practiced. Yes, God is praised, but while the church proclaims God, they are obeying Satan! Yes, your modern church praises God, but at the same time they pay tribute to the "Prince of the Air", Satan. This is his world and he has a set of rules. It seems that modern churches like his rules better than God's. Who do they worship; God or Satan? Their love lies with Satan! Any time churches or Christians accept what the world teaches over what God's word says are fornicating with Satan. Those mainstream churches are whores because they usurp the holy marriage between Christ and his bride.
