The Sponsor of Gun Cotrol Protests

Today's commentary is somewhat political because there is no wall between church and state. God is either Supreme to the State or Satan is. There is no civil legal system; it is either the Law of God or the law of sin. The U.S. Constitution is a mixture of the two as civil affairs are instituted using the wisdom of God. Democracy is not God's institution. It has its pluses and minuses but more possibility for abuse. Likewise, our Republic merely protects democratic rights. The ultimate government is much like the judges of the Book of the same name.

Therein, God was Supreme. He still is but mankind just fails to recognize His Supremacy. In democratic governments the will of the people is supreme. Since societies' will is self-aggrandizing, it needed tempering. Rather than tempered by God, representatives are elected to provide more fairness. America's temperament is a democratic-republic with recognition of a Supreme God. God's presence has made our republic stable. Instability ensues when God is removed from His Throne. Various administrations have sought the abdication, even by force, of the Living God in America's affairs.

Democracy, by nature, is the elevation of it's citizens to godhood in the face of the Supreme God. Unfettered democracy is libertarianism - everyone doing what is right in their own eyes. Unfortunately, the eyes of the people are blind to truth. The younger the citizen the more blind the person. Vision comes from experiencing truth and is called wisdom. Turning to youth for wisdom is akin to turning to the fox to advise on protecting the hens. Guaranteed, there will be holes all through the poultries' fence!

Those who are marching for gun control in the major cities are confused. They use the libertarian method of expression to advance authoritarian control. Protest is a democratic method being used to advance socialistic initiatives. Gun control is always for the autocrats. When the populace has no  means to defend themselves, dictators have theirs. It's true, when guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns, but even more so, when the government confiscates guns, they then will confiscate rights. Peaceful protest is freedom of speech but ironically this form of protest leads to abridgement of that freedom. Those free to protest may eventually be freed from contest when they suffer the effects of their own cause!

The media has stated many times: this day of protest was organized by students from Parkland School.  Does anyone really believe that? Those young people could not even organize their own escape from the shooter. They flew away in chaos with most having a blessed escape. Organized students would have planned and overpowered this young shooter. Would have adults run out screaming in fear? Not mature ones; they would have had a plan. Our youth need adult supervision and protection. They need for us to plan for their safety, not them plan for ours!

Wisdom is a product of knowledge and experience, both gained by time. They have neither advanced knowledge nor wisdom. Time has acclimated them to comfort, and they want to feel comfortable. When people attempt to destroy them, as babes, they can only strike back with emotion. Emotionally, in that crisis, the brightest object to seize is the tangible. Young people are not adept at controlling behaviors and ideas, and are barely able to control their own lives or even make their own beds. Youth are easily used because they are gullible. Even drug  pushers are wise enough to know that the best time to addict people are when they are young. That's something they alone can tackle. They should leave the hard issues to the adults!

Having a nationwide protest may be the idea of a few naïve students but they have neither the experience nor the savvy to organize a nationwide protest. Maybe the media succumbed to their will because ironically it was the media who determined their will. There are many behind the scenes who sponsor the media. An investigation should commence to determine who was steering these naïve young people in the direction of the progressive - Marxist - ideology. Perhaps the NEA did it over time, or maybe it was the foolish entertainment industry. Be certain - someone other than the students organized the protests.

My own psychology professor said, "The job of the teacher is not just to teach but to remold." That smacks of brainwashing! With the turnout yesterday, teachers, if that is true, should be given an "A+" for mixing the right Kool-Aid! The herd did the will of the progressives as if programmed. Maybe they were!

Guns are not a spiritual issue. The misuse of guns is a  moral and spiritual issue! The protests could be effective if the students actually considered the root-cause of killing. Guns were invented to kill because human beings all want their way. This is exactly what the protestors want: their own way. Some of them seem so belligerent in their ideas that even they may be provoked into violence as often happens at "peaceful protests". More powerful guns were invented to kill more people easier. This is a result of self-interested violent or misguided people. Without masses with an agenda, guns for war would not be needed. The mob propagates the need for guns.

Do the protestors really believe that sane people will fix their fantasy by sweetly handing over their guns? They are fools if they think that will happen! The herd mentality instigates hatred. Although "they know not what they do" as Jesus said to those who crucified Him, that is the salvation of those really naïve students. Guns didn't kill Jesus; evil people did. Banning crosses, hammers, and nails would never have saved Jesus. He would still have been tied to a tree and killed by those with evil motives!

The point is, that if students were wise, they would see what is wrong. The poor guns are no more than were the idols of wood and stone. It's the users who play gods.
