KEY VERSES (NKJV):

(God), ⁶ who “will render to each one according to his deeds”: ⁷ eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality… ¹⁰ glory, honor, and peace to everyone who works what is good… ¹⁵ who show the work of the law written in their hearts… ¹⁷ Indeed you are called a Jew, and rest on the law, and make your boast in God, ¹⁸ and know His will, and approve the things that are excellent, being instructed out of the law… ²⁹ He is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter. (Rom 2)

  The “Law” is much as any government in that there is a constitution and interpretations for judgment. Jews misunderstand the Law. “Mosaic Law” in the Torah (Decalogue) are regulations implied in their Constitution. God declared the Constitution to the Kingdom of God.

  Since God’s Kingdom is eternal, so then is the Constitution of His Kingdom. God’s people are patriotic to Him by stedfast allegiance to God’s Constitution, and trust in His Kingship. The “Constitution” of His Kingdom was engraved on stone by “the finger of God” (Deut 9:10). God’s “Finger” is the manifestation of Himself to the citizens of His Kingdom, and whenever God is manifested, that is Emmanuel, or Jesus.

  The Kingdom of God even has a “Declaration of Independence;” to wit:

God Declared: “⁴

"It is because of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord is driving them out from before you. ⁵ It is not because of your righteousness or the uprightness of your heart that you go in to possess their land, but because of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord your God drives them out from before you, and that He may fulfill the word which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob” (Deut 9:4-5)

  That fairly well sums up God’s Will for the citizens of the Paradise of God in Israel, and for the citizens in the “paradise” of the United States whose Declaration is union between all peoples against those who are against them. The U.S. Constitution is for unity of its citizens. Patriots abide by the Constitution despite all the regulations because they are patriotic to an idea of “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” (The declaration of the united colonies of America).

  Like the citizens of this nation, the Hebrews were colonizing their new nation, and the United Kingdom of God (Israel and Judah combined) would have a Constitution to show patriotism to their “Idea.” That “Idea” is the Supremacy of God over Moses as King. Before entering the Promised Land, the Jews had always sought safety and leadership from Moses, and their new Constitution was to make it clear just Who was the True King.

  When the northern colony of Israel withdrew, there only remained a confederacy with each their own king. The Kingship of God was soon forgotten until both the North and the South were destroyed. The union and unity had gone by the wayside, and both nations abandoned THE “Idea.” Ironically, much like the disunited states, the Confederacy was said to have “died of a theory” (Jefferson Davis). The union of tribes  had become two nations in chaos, and much like the American South, died of the Idea that neglected human freedom, and soon the North died of too much power. (Reverse the roles of the North and South for the Kingdom of David).

  Soon the Northern and Southern Kingdoms united by God became separated by Satan. Soon after, Israel — the entire Kingdom of God — died because they were no longer patriotic to the Idea of God. But they were allegiant to any other idea that they encountered. Many fear that  the death of America — the new Kingdom of God — will die of another theory — socialism. Socialism claims unity but has always proved to cause discord and division. But this commentary is not about government; it is about the patriotism in the hearts of both the Hebrew people and U.S. citizens.

  The Jews missed the point: God’s handwritten “Constitution” was not for God’s disciples to follow Him by coercion, but because they trusted God for deliverance from the Evil One and from his Resistance to the Constitution of God. Satan would have Christians believe that their Constitution was never valid and is still invalid to this day! That makes his rebellion easy because if there is no Law, then there is no Nation of God, and the Church will die without a “constitution.”

  Why is the universal Church under attack and all but a remnant die… just as the nation of Israel? Because Israel gave up its Constitution — the “Ten Words” of God, which theologians mistakenly call the “Ten Commandments.” Just as the U.S. Constitution are the prescriptions for the longevity of the idea of republicanism in a democratic manner, the Constitution of God is the Ten Prescriptions for eternal longevity.

  The problem in America is that the citizens are trading the democratic Constitution wherein everyone has a say, for the Communist Manifesto, the theory that foolish people will freely do what Marxists say! All of America will die of the same socialist theory that killed the Confederacy — that it is okay for a few to own many. That is the insane idea of socialism that may be the death of the Union!

  Satan causes disunion. The Northern Kingdom of Israel was the first to withdraw from the union. Soon after, the entire Republic of God was overrun, by first the Assyrian mob, and later the Babylonian mob. Brutal mobs killed Israel, and their very socialist theory that God does not matter killed the Union of God’s people as it went the way of the world. Globalism is the objective of socialism, and the way of the remainder of the world is ungodliness and paganism.

  The point to this background is two-fold: (1) That the U.S. Constitution matters to those who are patriotic to the idea of an enduring republic, and (2) that God’s Constitution is paramount to the idea of an enduring Kingdom of God, “On earth as in heaven” (Mat 6:10).

  Christians have ignored their Constitution just as the Hebrew people did theirs. The Constitution of the United States was based on the fairness of Providence (God) and its own Constitution was patterned after the “Ten Words” of Jesus. The United States is a dying nation, not because of lack of patriotism to the U.S. Constitution, but because God’s “Constitution” has been rejected.

  First to throw out that Constitution were Calvinists, then socialist-type slave-holders, and now the union of American socialist republics led by the blue states (Democrat states that are destroying the Republic). In the Disunited States, the Ten Words of Jesus was thrown out by the Supreme Court in 1980. The United States lost its “Spiritual Constitution” and so goes Israel, so goes America!

  The problem, however, is not that the Constitution that God wrote is broken and discarded. That happened long before now, “So it was, as soon as he came near the camp, that he saw the calf and the dancing. So Moses’ anger became hot, and he cast the tablets out of his hands and broke them at the foot of the mountain” (Exod 32:19). Moses broke the Commandments because the Law was never written on the people’s hearts, and to this day, even rebels in the Church do not have the Ten Words of Jesus written on their hearts. Few but a remnant in America have those Words in mind and do them willingly. They are looked at as “Ten Musts” that are impossible to do, rather than the “Ten Wills” of God that He shall help you do!

  Jews were God’s “chosen and peculiar people” (Deut 14:2). That is “Jewish Privilege” but Christians are Jews at heart who understand the Law differently — that they are not ten regulations but Ten Items of God’s Will for His heirs. God desires that His heirs do His Will, not for the money, but out of love because the Father loves His children. God expects those things from His heirs to demonstrate that they appreciate His Ideas and Sayings.

  God’s Will to His heirs says that He, “will render to each one according to his deeds,” (quotes from the key verses.) What are the deeds must be done? (1) Love God, and (2) love others as yourself.

  How to do that? They are listed in the Ten Words.

  How are they to be done? Not written down on paper as a reminder that they are a “To Do” list, but practiced because the list is for you to demonstrate worthiness as a citizen and heir in God’s Kingdom: “Ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light” (1 Pet 2:9). Not only are Christians “Jews” as they too are chosen and peculiar but are “royal priests” who hold allegiance to God. The difference between priests in Judaism and Christianity is that for the former it was biologically inherited, and for the latter, it is a spiritual inheritance — a gift to other pilgrims fleeing their own “Pharaoh’s” and “Egyptian sin.”

  What must one do for eternal life? “Eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good.” For the convenience of Christians, God put the terms of “goodness” in His Constitution. They are not things a Christian must do, but things he is willing to do to please the Father. Patience in doing good is serving God because He is so good to His children. The reward does not come now, but when it is God’s time to divvy up the inheritance. When He was murdered, His “estate” had all the debts paid off and “money” in reserve. The wage of sin is death, but the wage of love is life. The Ten Words are the “job description” of willing workers, or the priests in God’s House.

  God’s death made His followers legitimate heirs as the estate was settled. Rather than wait for God to die to obtain the inheritance of eternal life, His children must wait for the prize, and patiently so! The prize of eternal life is called “salvation” after patiently waiting in the safety that Jesus provides; the safe administrator of God’s Estate.

  Ironically, God never dies, but when Christian’s die, the estate is divided up between all the remaining living souls of God. Death is gain for those who patiently live for Christ (Phil 1:21). The soul is with God, but Christians cannot move into God’s mansion until they have new bodies to do so. God unites their dust with their immortal souls and glorifies them to be perfect and good citizens in His Kingdom wherein that same “Constitution” is no longer an obligation, as the Jews understood it, but a privilege loving patriots to God praise Him by!

  And just what is the, “glory, honor, and peace to everyone who works what is good?” “Glory” is living in the Presence of God. Jesus will not be in us, but God in His “Face” will be before us. Finally, the Jews (Christians now) will see God Face to face in Paradise. What an honor! What peace that Christians shall have in Whom they have trusted for safety all those years! Finally, after being saved from sin, their souls saved, then with union with God, their flesh will be saved with new, glorious flesh.

  Why the reward? Although the stone tablets were broken again as Moses showed his wrath, Jesus threw down the stone tablets. Although they are nowhere to be found to this day, they are in the minds of those, “who show the work of the law written in their hearts.” A loving heart is the Way of Jesus and what He meant by the Ten Words. They can never be broken or destroyed because they are no longer on stone but written in the hearts of God’s adopted children — discerning Jews and adopted Gentiles into the religion of Jude! Or was it Jews adopted into the religion of Jesus all along.

  Just who were the chosen and peculiar people from the beginning? Christians (John 1-14).

  Read what those Gentiles who would be Jews shall do: 

·         “Indeed you are called a Jew,” who

·          “rest on the law,”

·         “make your boast in God,”

·         “know His will,” (and do it willingly without coercion of legalism.)

·         “approve the things that are excellent,” (The Ten Excellent Sayings of God.)

·         “being instructed out of the Law.” 

 And the end result? “He is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter.” Christians are God’s peculiar and chosen “Jews” because His children are Adam’s seed, not Judah’s alone. The Constitution (Goodness) of God is written in the hearts of those who give their flesh, mind, and soul to Him! I am a “Jew”… my name is “Jude.” Jesus wrote my Constitution and by it I live!
