THE WORLDWIDE CHURCH OF SCIENCE - Final

 The Church of Scientology believes that “man is basically good, that he is seeking to survive, (and) that his survival depends on himself and his attainment of brotherhood with the universe," as stated in the Creed of the Church of Scientology.

Although rejected by the American Psychiatric Association (APA), Scientology, using their e-meter that measures electrodermal activity, clear the conscious of “engrams” — mental images that are disruptive to their lives. Unfortunately, when so many leave the cult, the cult merely erases their minds, if that really works! In effect, Scientology brainwashes a fragment of the mind of rational people, making a clean slate for the irrational messages from the cult.

Essentially, Scientology replaces Christ. Rather than forgive the “sin” against their organization, they change the nature of the apostate. The e-meter is a type of electronic “fence” that dog owners use to keep their dogs in their place.

Those engrams are much like the shadows on the cave wall in Plato’s exercise. They are fragments of the mind that project reality, and they must be discarded. In effect, auditing washes away the sins against the cult and the e-meter changes the “thetan” (the soul of the person) to a clear status, and thus they forgive all the past sins against the organization. The audit, in effect, erases the shadows on the cave wall and the thetan that created the so called “false shadow” sees the light and discards those thoughts.

Scientology is indeed a religion and a false one at that. Christ has no place in their scientific conscious-clearing. As such, if they had a “Christ,” it would be the e-meter operated by a cunning representative of their cult.

Scientology is included in this commentary because they take a scientific approach to cleansing the soul. However, rather than removing engrams, auditing embeds falsehoods into the minds of the thetans. They make the shadows on the mind’s “wall” false images. Plato would be impressed with the pictures they paint in the mind’s eye.

Scientology endeavors to make their religion scientific. “Cleared thetans” are those who trust Scientology; they trust the science! On the other hand, they would wipe out the engrams pictured in the mind of Christians, of God revealing Himself in a manner that would impress Plato.

That the Holy Ghost of the man, Jesus, is real, was revealed the day that he was crucified. That is the science. The scientists, however, reject that evidence because their specialty does not include what can neither be seen nor measured. The Ghost of Jesus could not be contained by science. When Jesus gave up the Ghost, there were many metrics that science ignores: 

1.      Somebody felled Judas from the tree from which he hung, and defeated Satan who was in him. Just as the Word said in the beginning, “On his belly shalt thou go” (Gen 3:14); what happened to Satan — the “Serpent” in Judas? “Headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out” (Acts 1:18). Leaving Judas, true to the penalty for sin, on his belly Satan would go!

2.      The Holy Ghost visited Hell to deliver Satan and Sin. He, the Ghost of Jesus, was the invisible image of the man. He is as much God as Jesus is God! “For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: by which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison… (1 Pet 3:18-19).           
  Where is that “prison’? Enoch was taken there and wrote about that prison: “Those men took me and led me up on to the second heaven, and showed me darkness, greater than earthly darkness, and there I saw prisoners hanging, watched, awaiting the great and boundless judgment, and these angels were dark-looking, more than earthly darkness, and incessantly making weeping through all hours. And I said to the men who were with me: ‘Wherefore are these incessantly tortured?’ They answered me: ‘These are God’s apostates, who obeyed not God’s commands, but took counsel with their own will, and turned away with their prince, who also is fastened on the fifth heaven.’”       
  Hell is in the Second Heaven, according to Enoch, and there they await the judgment. Jesus went there in Spirit and basically revealed why they were held prisoners. The Holy Ghost easily went into the unseen realm and preached; not to redeem those prisoners but to explain to them why they were condemned!

3.      “Somebody” rolled the stone away from the tomb of Jesus. “There was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone from the door and sat upon it” (Mat 28:2). Matthew saw the Holy Ghost of Jesus who he referred to as the “Angel of the Lord.” That “angel” is an elohym, or the Image in which mankind’s soul was created. The Spirit of God rolled back that stone. That Spirit was the phantom of Jesus in the bodily shape of Jesus (Luke 3:22) that Matthew recognized as Jesus.  
  That “somebody” was not a “body” but the Holy Ghost who had a form like the body of Christ. Again, I refer to the “Allegory of the Cave” of which Plato wrote. The body of Christ was in the cave… His tomb. (I believe that cave was the Cave of Adam — the “Cave of Treasures”).       
  The Angel of the Lord was the fragment of the real body of Christ. The Shekinah Light, or Glory of God, revealed the Ghost of Jesus who rolled back the stone.       
  The two Mary’s saw the Angel of the Lord. We do not know specifically where, but the best bet is on the wall of the womb. They saw the “Allegory” as evidence of the real thing. The Body of Jesus was gone but its invisible image remained! Mary Magdalene and the other Mary saw scientific evidence that Jesus remained alive, at least in Spirit.       
  The tomb was empty of the Sacred Thing (the body of Jesus) but they saw the fragment of Jesus still there. Plato would be pleased at the evidence that God presented! Jesus was not just the man, but God, and Spirit as well. Death undone Jesus so that the two Mary’s could see the invisible form of Him.

4.      The order of events is significant. Jesus did things while He was dead, and that order is provenance.       
  He first delivered sin and Satan to Hell, then delivered the repentant thief, Dismus, to Paradise. Not said, is that day, although He was imprisoned in the tomb, Jesus escorted the unrepentant thief, Gestas, to heaven as well — as a prisoner in the Second Heaven wherein Jesus surely told him why he was a prisoner!
  Lastly, but that same day, although dead, Jesus escorted Dismus to Paradise in the Third Heaven. Paul may have testified to that: “I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven” (2 Cor 12:2).     
  Who was that man? It wasn’t Paul because of the timing and his uncertainty. Timing reveals that it was around the time of the crucifixion. Paul saw things in his “cave” (his blindness) that others could not see. Perhaps he saw Dismus in Christ taken to the Third Heaven wherein lies Paradise. Paul saw the “shadow” on the wall of his mind and recognized it as truth. He saw Jesus, perhaps, taking Dismus to Paradise. That persuaded him to become a Christian.

5.      Jesus appeared to many in new incorruptible flesh; some of whom failed to recognize him.     
  Jesus was not a handsome man! Isaiah saw Jesus in his bodily shape while He was yet a Spirit: “He shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him” (Isa 53:2). Jesus, the man, was not a handsome person. However, there was another prophecy; Isaiah saw a glorified Jesus, one that had died and was resurrected: “In that day shall the branch of the Lord be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel” (Isa 4:2).          
  Something changed Jesus. It was death. No wonder that so many failed to recognized that Jesus was Jesus. Upon glorification at death, just as Isaiah saw the “shadow” on his mind, Jesus became a handsome person. In his letters to Caesar after the crucifixion, Pilate described Jesus as “comely,” meaning handsome or beautiful.   
  Isaiah and Pilate validated that Jesus was a changed man because death is indeed “gain.” Jesus looked beautiful in death, not well done like a corpse, but made truly alive!      
  Pilate’s letters to Caesar are the evidence that Isaiah saw the fragment of Jesus on his wall, just like Plato would teach. (Some say those letters are forgeries but if so, they got it right!)

 

Returning for a moment to Scientology, it differs much from Christianity. Scientology is what the thetan does; also what the auditor does to him or her. It is a religion of works… scientific works using the psychology of L. Ron Hubbard. It is the Auditor that controls the power, and the e-meter reveals the engram. They too are Platonic in philosophy. (As such, I call the Tree of Knowledge, “The Philosophy Tree.”)

On the other hand, in Christianity, Jesus does all the work. He redeemed mankind with His own blood with the genetics of God in it. He was God in that His DNA — His Identity — was the Identity of Yahweh. The Image of God was His Glorious Supra-nature, and it was encoded in His Divine DNA, I believe.

In fact, there is evidence of “JHWG” in the blood of human DNA, not “JHWH” because it has been mutated. (The glorious DNA of God is the evidence of His Existence.) To be born again requires the DNA of God; His Identity must be imbued into the trusting person for the change to occur.

Yes, hidden in scripture is the science! Jesus, although not sired by God, was the “Son of God,” meaning that He was of the gens of Yahweh. When anyone saw the person of Jesus, within his body and blood, was the Genome of the Father.

That the Eucharist is His “Blood and Body” is significant.

Jesus “took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, ‘This is My body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of Me. Likewise, also the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you’” (Luke 22:19-20). In remembrance is a mental picture; that “shadow” within the darkness of the brain that represents the real Jesus. The wafer is the object whose shadow on the mind that when eaten in the Light of truth, represents the Body of Jesus. Plato would have loved that.

The objects are inanimate images made of iron or some other material. However, behind the wall are people. The men see the shadow of things, but behind the wall are other people. That is much like the wafer or bread at communion. The image, or bread, is nothing but images, but represent Jesus behind the wall. Of course, the wall is the door, or portal, between this realm and the other.

Now for the Blood of Jesus. It is the “shadow” of things to come — a new creature. The Blood of Christ has the DNA of God within it. The Blood from the Savior is the Way to salvation and eternal life.

Since born again, is “engendered from above,” the wine is a shadow of the real thing — the Blood of Jesus. That too is done in remembrance of Him; that it was His Blood with the Gens of God in it. The wine represents the Ghost, or Shadow, of Jesus that Christians remember from the crucifixion. They are shadows of things that have been done!

Paul knew philosophy as well, he said that “the Law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things” (Heb 10:1). What he meant was that the Law was the Shadow of Jesus that represented the things to come. What came? Jesus came to fulfill the Law. Paul knew of the Allegory of the Cave as well! He knew that the Law was not the real object, but the real Person of God was represented by the Law.

Who wrote the Law? The “Finger of God” (Deut 9:10). What did God write the Law upon? Tablets of stone. That was the wall of the “cave,” me making an analogy.

Those not in the Light of God saw the Law only as the Law. The patriarchs and prophets saw them as a shadow of things to come. They saw the Body of God with a Holy Finger. God was manifested to them as Jesus. That Finger was a fragment of the Body of Christ, and by seeing the shadow of His Finger — the written Word — they would see Jesus as God.

This ends the science behind religion. That religion is a science was espoused by Paul who persuaded many to become Christians. As such, Paul knew his philosophy and debated the philosophers at Athens. When debating the best minds, Paul bested them!

The Stoics and Epicureans saw only the shadow — the Unknown God, but Paul revealed to them just who is the unknown God (Acts 17:23). Plato, in a manner, was their “god” since he was the father of debating. Paul used their philosophical god to reveal the One True God. Works and pleasure are only temporal images; Paul revealed contentment and joy to them.

Now, we are called to trust the science, and that means the scientists. The Bible is the “Science” and God is in Whom Christians trust.
