TO SEE JESUS IS TO SEE GOD HIMSELF

Today I will be brief; I will only mention genealogies, not go into detail. Hybrid genealogies will not get anyone a room in the mansion of God in Paradise. Paul wrote that you cannot count on your forebears to be heirs to God’s Estate there, not to “give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do” (1 Tim 1L4).

It takes faith in the genealogy of Jesus for the reward; your own genealogy is of no account. You must not value that you are the sons and daughters of noble people but are the “adopted” sons and daughters of the Holy Father that is in heaven, to wit: “You have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, ‘Abba, Father.’” (Rom 8:15).

Adoption into Christianity is not by the blood but by the Spirit. It does not matter who your ancestors were, but who you are in respect to Christ. As it is written, “The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening Spirit” (1 Cor 15:45). About Adam, it was written in Genesis 2:7, and about Jesus it was written in John 1:4; that Jesus was the light of men.”

Somehow, Christ is in us, not by genealogy (His DNA) but by the reflection of the Light (1 John 1:5) of God unto people. Paul clarified that ordination:

He has chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will. (Ephes 1:4-5)

Where would a person look to find that appointment? Before the foundation of the world! God made the other kinds, then made mankind: “God said, ‘Let us make man in our Image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion” (Gen 1:26). There was the “election” before the foundation of the world… mankind was selected above all the other animals.

(Note that chapter one must be the foundation of Paradise in heaven because chapter two is about the creation of things on Earth.)

Indeed, if that is true, and it seems to be, mankind were predestined to be the holy ones, not even the angels in heaven, let alone the beasts.

It is our kind that was selected; those with human genomes — with the DNA of God in every nuclear cell of their bodies.

It seems that before God did anything, that man had no seed within him, as did the other animals and plants (Gen 1:29). Only after sin did man have seed within him like the other beasts.

To validate that God made woman from the belly of man; it was a type of spiritual cloning, using modern vernacular, only it was the “Seed of God” that was spread. Apparently, the Seed of God is His “quickening Spirit” that makes life, not a type of biological reproduction. And so, it is with “born again” which is engendering by God above with His quickening Spirit.

To be blunt, mankind was to reproduce spiritually not sexually, and with the new identity of the woman after sin, Adam named her kind, “Eve.” She became the “mother of all living” (Gen 3:20) and she gave birth to genealogy when she created Cain (Gen 4:1), the son of the Wicked One (1 John 3:12).

Ever since Cain was delivered by the seed of the Wicked One into the womb of Eve, everything since that time has been genetically. Nobody, with the exception of pure Jesus Christ, can trace their ancestry, unadulterated, back to God.

It is rebirth by the Spirit of God, not by the seed of mankind. Regardless of the unclean genes that are within us, the Spirit of God can even overcome our genetics. Thus, perhaps others tampering with our genetics is the ultimate sin and that was the sin of Eve with the Wicked One.

That brings me to the genealogies of Jesus in the Bible. Matthew, in chapter one, began the genealogy of Jesus with “the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham” (Mat 1:1). Jesus was not the son of David nor the son of Abraham, but He, it was supposed, shared their genetics. He was there because Eve was their kind and as a result, the flesh of Jesus, although pure, was the same as Eve’s.

Matthew’s account of Jesus’s heirs was through Joseph who was the supposed father of Jesus (Luke 3:23). Luke presented the genealogy of Jesus somewhat differently because Jesus was not the biological seed of Joseph.

Luke saw things much differently than Matthew who looked only at the improper paternity of Jesus, He wrote:

Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, and the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon Him, and a Voice came from heaven, which said, “You are my beloved Son; in you I am well pleased.” (Luke 3:21-22)

Luke could have stopped with that. The “Father” had engendered Jesus from above; that which Jesus Himself referred to as “born again” (in the English). God Himself had “fathered” Jesus, but not by using genetic seed but the “quickening Spirit” of the Holy Ghost. Father God had changed the genetics of Jesus brought to Him by King David, into pure genetics. He was the supposed “son of David” and was taxed in David’s birthplace, Bethlehem, as an heir to David.

Then Luke presented the case for the genetics of Jesus beginning with Joseph all the way back to Adam and God Himself. (It did vary differently from Matthew’s rendering for some unknown reason, perhaps because men make mistakes.)

That was insignificant because both Mary and Joseph were related, and at some point, they as everyone does, shared genealogy. Luke’s account could have been only that Jesus is the “Son of God” because he apparently saw God regen the flesh of Jesus via His quickening Spirit. However, he too got wordy.

On the other hand, Mark gave us a short and straight genealogy of Jesus when he simply wrote, “The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God…” (Mark 1:1). What more words were necessary since the paternal genealogy of Jesus as the “Son of God” was direct. Mark saw the baptism of God to Jesus wherein the Holy Ghost was imbued within the man.

John was a little wordier with his genealogical account of Jesus, speaking of Jesus (verse 14), John wrote this about Him:

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.  (John 1:1-4)

There were not just two but four genealogies of Jesus in the Bible! Therein John wrote about the genealogy of Jesus, and it was not by whose seed was whose, but who could create without seed in the same manner of God with Adam and Eve in the beginning. It was not by Adam’s “rib” that God made the woman, but literally by the curved part of his person (Strong 2006). God had breathed life unto Adam and Adam then breathed life into his woman.

Just like Paul wrote, Adam was created by the quickening Spirit of God breathing life unto him, but Jesus, because He was God and there in the beginning, is the quickening Spirit of God (i.e., the “Holy Ghost”).

The quickening Spirit that creates life is the “Dynamic” of God that John called “The Word” and Genesis called, “The Voice.”

John was the “beloved.” He knew Jesus more intimately than the others. He realized by inspiration that Jesus was not the biological “Son of God” but the Spirit of God in the person, Jesus. Genealogy did not make Jesus “King of kings and Lord of lords” but the Holy Ghost did that at His baptism, and Him alone (John 1:33).

Mary had received the Holy Ghost for a few moments, then even then, the Holy Ghost left her. When the time was ripe, God Yahweh Himself went into the Person of Jesus.

Yahweh is the invisible Presence of God and hence the “Image” (phantom, ibid) that made the first Adam who breathed life unto mankind. Jesus, on the other hand, as the “last Adam” was the “Breather of Life.”

As John, pointed out “The Word” of God is the Dynamics of the Spirit of God that imbues life. In other words, Jesus was not descended from God but IS God. He is Melchizedek, who in turn, Christ was like: “Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abiding a priest continually” (Heb 7:3).

Jesus had no endless genealogy. Mary, as He implied was not even His mother (Mat 12:48). Jesus had no genealogy. He was like the woman before she was degenerated into Eve’s kind, but that woman was “naked” in the sense that she had no human flesh; it was some unidentified incorruptible, glorious substance. Eve had obtained human flesh when God had grace on her and Adam’s kind (Gen 3:17).

Jesus had no genealogy; He was supreme, not because of King Abraham or King David, but because He is the Supreme Being, Yahweh.

They supposed that Jesus was the ”Son of God,” in a biological sense, but the crucifixion revealed the Spirit of God leaving Him. The crucifixion proved that Jesus was not the “Son of God” through repeated generations but was the actual Genome of Yahweh in this world.

Indeed, Jesus had within Himself the Image of God, but it was by the same mechanism as the first Adam, albeit Adam was like God but not God, albeit Jesus is God in the flesh of a man.

I like to use my imagination: The “Image” of God was literally the “Shadow” (Selem) of Yahweh, the Invisible God. (Strong 2006). Yahweh was indeed a Phantom Being. He was Spirit, but Spirit that could and would take on the form of a man as Luke wrote of His baptism: “The Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon Him, and a Voice came from heaven, which said, “You are My beloved Son; in you I am well pleased” (Luke 3:22).

“Son” therein does not mean a created being as John pointed out (see above). but His Genome.

A “genome” is the totality of the DNA with every nuclear cell of the body combined. The Image of God very might well be all the chromosomes of God in bodily shape. Imagine, if you will, all the invisible chromosomes (not stained to see them) in bodily shape; that appearance would be a Phantom Being, or the “Holy Ghost.” Because Jesus was the “Son” of God, then within the flesh of the man (Adam), there was the very Image of God. Jesus seems to have the very Genome of God within His Body because, as He pointed out, “He that has seen Me has seen the Father” (John 14:9).

Take away the flesh of Jesus, and what would remain? The Genome of God in the shape of a man, having even the Power of God. That is what happened on Calvary. Jesus gave up His Power that was the Genome of God that had been within Him. Without God in Him, His Power was drained. What was the Power of God doing in those three days? Providing the Virtue of God to all mankind!
